Chapter 6: The War Begins
It was night time now after Naruto got to know Obi-wan and his apprentice Anakin, who he didn't like all that much with how he'd catch him staring at Padme. It creeped him and her out having noticed this too, but wouldn't worry about it unless he did something that would really worry her. Obi-Wan was a cool guy who was calm and wasn't a reckless person. He was someone that Naruto trusted to keep his apprentice in line and not do something stupid.
Right now, they were in the living room guarding the Senator who had retired for the night to her room. As a caution with her permission, he had placed seals in the room that would notify him if anything got into her room that wasn't them, Captain Typho, or Padme. She also had R2D2 with her as an extra precaution. When Naruto presented this idea to her about using seals that would be able to act as an alarm system once someone that wasn't any of them appeared in her room. She agreed to it, trusting him and when she asked if he was going to let the Jedi know about it, he told her no since it would cause them to ask questions or in Anakin's case, demand answers and that is something he didn't want to deal with.

It was nighttime now and Obi-Wan and Anakin were talking about how he hadn't been sleeping that much because of dreams he'd been having of his mother which bothered him and worried his master. Naruto was keeping his senses sharp and would send out pulses of chakra to check the seals and they were working fine and nothing was happening. The way Anakin talked about Padme and how he'd rather dream about her was quite something. He honestly didn't know what to say regarding that except creepy and Naruto really didn't want to leave him alone with her. The way he talked about her just put him on edge and no doubt that Padme felt the same too if she heard this.
"Be mindful of your thoughts, Anakin, they betray you. You've made a commitment to the Jedi Order, a commitment not easily broken. And don't forget she's a politician and they're not to be trusted." Obi-Wan advised his apprentice who shook his head..
"She's not like the others in the senate, Master." Anakin argued back.
"It is my experience that senators focus only on pleasing those who fund their campaigns and they're in no means scared of forgetting the niceties of democracy in order to get those funds." Obi-Wan gave his thoughts which Naruto would normally agree with, but like Anakin said, she's not like the others and some really do want to make a difference for not just themselves, but for others.
"Not another lecture, at least not on the economics of politics." Anakin groaned, not wanting to hear more about it.
"I can agree to that. Politics aren't fun as well as boring, but necessary or else people would be just using force on each other instead of talking things out. I will have to disagree though in regards to Senator Padme, Master Kenobi. She's nothing like those other snakes that care only about money or the ones who care about their self-interests, but cares about her people as well as her friends and wants the best for them. I can agree with your Padawan about her not being like them." Naruto said, getting nods from them both with Anakin giving a small smile, but frowned at how he sounded so in awe when he spoke of her. It didn't sit well with him and made him a little furious.
In Padme's room while they discussed she was sound asleep with R2 in the room as a precaution and if you looked closely, you could see four pieces of paper, one in each corner of the room with seals on them that would act as an alarm if someone or something entered that shouldn't have. It'll notify Naruto if they get triggered and be able to react quickly.
A droid floated just outside her room where it shined a green square light on part of the window. It created a small hole where two worm-like creatures came out of it before they dropped to the ground and made their way towards the Senator while activating one of the seals.
Outside they were talking when Naruto felt one of the seals go off in her room and ran towards her room, alerting the two jedi as they followed after him and saw Naruto cut down the two worms when Kenobi saw the droid at the window and jumped and managed to grab onto it.
"Stay here." Anakin ordered and went off his master, leaving Naruto with Padme as Typho and one of her handmaidens walked in.
"Are you okay milady?" The handmaiden asked worriedly.
"I'm fine, thank you and thank you Naruto, those seals worked amazingly." Padme complimented with a mumble as she was in shock at almost being killed by the worms as she was holding Naruto. He was stroking her hair and letting her calm down from this ordeal as he knew that she would now be able to get answers, but also was worried that she might act even more reckless.
"Can I get you anything while the Jedi are gone?" He asked as she nodded and wanted something to drink which her handmaiden got for her. Typho left to go speak with the other guards and Chancellor Palpatine, leaving the two to each other as Naruto was calming her down.
"How do you think Obi-Wan and Ani are doing?" Padme asked, hoping that they were having luck finding whoever sent the droid after her.
"I'm sure they're handling it and will have something that will lead towards whoever is after you." Naruto said, easing her a little.
"I'm sure they'll find something, but what are we going to do now?" She asked him, who looked at her thoughtfully.
"I'm not entirely sure. We'll just have to wait and see what they get from their chase and can only hope that it leads somewhere." He said with her nodding as she leaned more into him she enjoyed him holding her, liking how she felt against him.
"Thank you." She said, confusing him.
"What for?" He asked.
"Everything you've done for me since you showed up in Naboo and I don't mean just as a bodyguard, but as a friend too. You've kept me safe, wanted to get to know me for me. That's more than what most have done, so thank you." Padme leaned up and kissed him on the cheek.
He grinned silly at the action, having not expected it, but wasn't going to say no either since it's from her who's a good friend and someone he could call important to him.
"It's the least I can do after what you and Typho had done for me. I was only returning the favor and we are friends after all right? It would be wrong to not want you to be safe." Naruto said, as she blushed a little at his words, finding him to be sincere in them.
It was at this moment, the handmaiden came back with some drinks for them as she thanked her and left them to themselves. They continued talking throughout the night, knowing that she wouldn't be able to get much sleep, she asked if he could stay with her. He agreed and spent the night with her, helping her ease into getting some rest. It was a few hours later when Obi-Wan and Anakin came back and they looked troubled to say the least.
What he learned was they had managed to capture the assassin who was a Clawdite who was a shapeshifter, but before they could learn anything regarding who hired her, he was killed by an unknown assailant which brought a frown to Naruto. He would need to have a clone follow Obi-Wan when he goes after Jango, so he can do something about the clones, knowing what would happen if he left them as they were. His only concern was Anakin though with his obvious jealousy and could only hope that he wouldn't do anything foolish that would get him in trouble.

It was the next morning, Naruto managed to calm Padme down enough for her to get some sleep without worry of being targeted again as he had the seals up again and even some henged clones into different items so she wouldn't feel uncomfortable. The jedi stuck around to keep an eye on the senator and got to know them a bit more. Well, he got to know Obi-Wan more than Anakin since he would just glare at him most of the time or ignore him which was fine with him. Obi-Wan was fun to talk to and had a great sense of humor.
Obi-Wan and Anakin left around 8 to go report to the council and get further instructions, now that they had leads to go off of now. They were now standing in the center of the Jedi Council Chambers where all of them were seated in a circle surrounding the two.
"Track down this bounty hunter you must, Obi-Wan." Yoda said to them with a serious expression.
"Most importantly, find out who he's working for." Windu added.
"What about Senator Amidala? She will need protecting." Anakin asked.
"We've thought about that and we feel that her new bodyguard can handle it if he was able to sense something regarding the attempt, so we know she'll be safe." Ki-Adi Mundi said with intrigue.
"You both will be going after the bounty hunter with her protection handled." Windu told them, who nodded with Anakin's being more stiff.
"Speaking of the bodyguard, I sensed something from him when we first encountered him. Is it possible he is force sensitive? He seems to have done some training if that's the case." Obi-Wan said intrigued with the Uchiha with everyone agreeing.
"Yes, sensed something we did, felt different though it did." Yoda contemplated in thought as he had his chin resting on his hands.
"Perhaps we can speak with him to learn more about him?" Anakin suggested wanting to learn anything about the man.
"Normally we won't do this, but with the Senator's life at risk, it's appropriate we know who we're dealing with." Windu said, "Obi-Wan, go tell him that we would like to speak with him with the Senator's permission. Also for her safety, it would be best for her to head back to her home planet Naboo where she'll be safer.
"If that's to happen, it will be very difficult to get Senator Amidala to leave the capital." Anakin said with Windu nodding slightly.
"Until caught this killer is, our judgement she must respect." Yoda said.
"Anakin, while Obi-Wan gets Mr. uchiha, you will go to the senate and ask Chancellor Palpatine to speak with her about this matter." Windu said to them as they bowed and left the room, leaving the council to their thoughts.

Naruto spent the morning with Padme as she had her duties as a Senator, so he accompanied her and met various people with some he liked like Senator Bail Organa of Alderaan, Senator Chuchi of Pantora, and Senator Onaconda Farr while others were rude and quite arrogant. He really wanted to knock those ones down a peg or two just to shut them up. When he mentioned doing something, Padme gave him an amused look, but told him to not let them bother him and that they weren't worth it. Bless her soul that she has that much patience and does not do something. It would be so easy with his shinobi skills and super speed.
It was now noon and Padme was in her office going through some paperwork and she was annoyed with how some Senators attempted to talk her into just giving in and ending the debate for peace with the Separatists. She wouldn't give up on them and try to do things where diplomacy can resume instead of going to war.
"This is getting ridiculous. Why must people want war, destruction, and only care for themselves rather than what damages that will happen if war is among us?" She asked no one as she was frustrated beyond belief.
"Because it's something that people can profit from. It's the sad truth, but greed is what drives people into doing just about anything as long as they get money out of it." She heard Naruto say as he walked in with a sad smile, something she noticed as he looked much older as if he was reminiscing about something.
"Oh Naruto, I wasn't expecting to see you so soon. It's wrong though, but are you okay?" Padme asked, concerned for him.
"Yeah, I'm alright." He said much to her worries.
"You seemed to be thinking about something almost as if you were remembering something." She continued her eyes showing nothing, but concern for him which made his heart flutter.
"Oh that, it's my past when I was a Shinobi at the time. I was involved in a civil war for a village that lasted for years, but I was there for two years before it was able to end. It's not something I like to talk about, so I hope you can understand my reluctance in bringing it up." He said.
She nodded in understanding as she gave him a sad smile, hearing that her friend had been through something like that, especially at a young age. She couldn't imagine what he must've endured and gone through having to fight like he must've done.
"Thank you and on a positive note, I brought lunch." He held up a large bag and the other hand had two bottles of water with a grin. She gave him a grateful look as he walked to her desk while she cleared it so they'd have room to eat.
He brought out four containers with one being mashed potatoes, the second one being vegetables such as peas and corn, the third container had roast in it, and the last container had bread in it. These looked good to her and her stomach decided to voice its hunger with a growl, much to her embarrassment and Naruto's amusement as he failed at hiding his snickering.
As they ate, they talked about what the plan was now with the aftermath of the assassination attempt on her. He suggested that they could go back to Naboo where she'd be safer and hide out in some remote place where she wouldn't be found, but she fought him on it as she was being very stubborn on the subject with the bill being important. He argued that her life was more important than it and that she should consider her own safety and not be so stubborn about it. She loved how concerned he was for her, but she didn't want to have so many people worrying over her constantly.
As they finished eating, they heard someone knocking and she told them to enter and she saw Obi-Wan.
"Is there something you need Master Jedi?" Padme asked them as Naruto was also curious, but didn't need to ask since he would get his answers.
"We've come to ask if your bodyguard could come with us to the Jedi Temple and answer some questions." Obi-Wan said, getting their attention, especially Naruto who was hiding a frown, not wanting to expose much if anything, but they must've sensed something through the force.
"What, why? Did he do something wrong?" Padme asked, confused and a little irritated at what was happening.
The bearded jedi shook his head with a negative and gave her a reassuring smile that did nothing to ease her concerns.
"I'll be fine Senator. I'd like to think I'm not in trouble, but they're merely curious. I don't mind answering some questions if I'm able to answer them depending on the questions." Naruto said, much to her surprise, but then again, he doesn't want to cause much trouble or get that much attention, so this is probably for the best.
"Thank you for your cooperation. We've all just been curious about you since we first saw you, we sensed something and when you seemed to have caught something before we could, it made us even more so." Obi-Wan said, much to his amusement and understanding. He could understand where they were coming from. Anakin was just giving him a glare, having not liked him at all and with how close he seems to be to Padme wasn't helping at all.
When they got back to the temple, Naruto was waiting outside the council chambers as many other Jedi would glance at him with curiosity and younglings would wave to him. He smiled and waved back and watched as they would go about their studies. Not long after, Anakin came out and told him that they were ready to see him now, much to his annoyance since he didn't trust him.
They walked in as Anakin went and stood beside his master and Naruto went to the middle of the room where he could see all the masters were seated with Naruto looking calm and collected, having known that they would want answers. He wasn't stupid in thinking that he could get away from being noticed and would need to think about how to go about this.
"Sorry we are for taking time away, but questions we had about you. We sensed something from you that was strong and it felt like the force, but also not at the same time." Yoda said, confused and intrigued.
"Ahh, they must've sensed Chakra, but it should be almost impossible to sense since I've kept most of it suppressed, so how is it they know?' He asked himself mentally.
"What do you mean?" He asked feigning ignorance.
"Please don't insult us, by pretending to not be aware of something when we know you are. We're just wanting to know what it is and something unknown isn't something we like to deal with." Kit Fisto said, hoping to put him at ease.
Naruto sighed knowing he couldn't hide it completely, but maybe he could appease them a little. "I'm suppressing it completely or as much as I can so it would be hard to sense anything from me." Naruto said. "Do you want a demonstration than?" He asked, getting nods all around.
He took a deep breath before closing his eyes when he opened his eyes and felt a rush of chakra encase the room as his body glowed a deep blue with the floor cracking beneath him from the intensity of his power. He wasn't going to reveal his Rinnegan-Sharingan or his speedster abilities since he wanted to keep those secrets close to the chest among other things.
Everyone suddenly could feel the air got thicker once he released some of his power. Some were choking from the output he was putting out while the others were struggling to stay seated and not crumble.
"Who is this guy?" Anakin thought, trying to stay on his feet, but his knees felt extremely weak and collapsed to his knees.
"Where did he come from and how is he doing this? This isn't the force, but something else entirely." Windu was sweating while keeping himself in check.
"How's he doing this? This is something completely different." Obi-Wan thought.
"Careful, we need to be with this one, whatever this is, he looks to be barely trying. It feels like I'm suffocating, but perfectly calm he is about this, is this a small amount of power only to him?" Yoda thought nervously and awed at what he was feeling and sensing from him.
Naruto saw what was happening to everyone and cut his chakra off and everyone could breathe more now. He saw them getting back to their seats and slumping into them and bit back a chuckle at seeing them not care about how they must look at him at the moment.
"This is something that only i've been able to do my whole life. It's not the force I can assure you, so you have nothing to fear in that regards." Naruto assured them which made them relax, but also more curious.
"And what is this energy called, Mr. Uchiha?" Windu asked wary of the man before him now.
"That is something that I would like to keep to myself. It'd be dangerous if others were to learn about this power and even how to use it. I hope you can understand my reluctance in sharing." Naruto said, much to his relief they understood what he was saying and are fine with this. However, Anakin wasn't too keen on him not sharing what he knows as he wanted to know what this power was and if he could learn to use it himself.
"You will tell us what you know! You are just a guard and we are Jedi who can learn to use this power! TELL US NOW!" Anakin shouted the last part in frustration.
"Anakin!" Obi-Wan admonished sternly, quite surprised his apprentice would react like this, but then again he's always wanted to learn and grow stronger, so something like this would be something he'd want to have.
"Young Skywalker, you will be silent about this, wait outside while we continue this conversation." Ki Adi Mundi said with a tone that told the apprentice that he wouldn't budge on it.
Anakin reigned his temper in and reluctantly bowed his head with Obi-Wan following suit and giving Naruto and the others an apologetic bow as they left the room.
"Sorry for his behavior, we are young Uchiha." Yoda's ear flattened on his head with Naruto accepting the apology.
"Thank you, but there's no need to apologize, but thank you for all the same. Was there anything else you wanted to ask me?" Naruto asked.

Naruto was with Padme who was complaining and grumbling about being forced to go back to Naboo, despite being needed in Coruscant and would've fought it if the order hadn't come from the Chancellor himself. When Naruto got back from the temple, she immediately asked what they wanted from him. He told her that they wanted to learn about chakra, but gave them no information on it since he didn't want the risk of someone trying to replicate it or experiment to get it. She was relieved that things went okay, but frowned when she heard about Anakin exploding on him and demanded that he tell them. Maybe he hadn't grown up like she thought, but maybe she was wrong about him and was now glad that he wasn't acting as her bodyguard instead of Naruto.
"It's not so bad." He tried telling her, but she gave him the stink eye that made him look away and chuckle at her antics. She pouted at hearing him laugh or trying not too anyway.
"I'm being forced to do something I don't want to do while Master Obi-Wan and Ani are looking for answers….. If there's one thing I am grateful for, it's that he's not helping guard me. He made me uncomfortable with his staring and he didn't even try to hide it at all." Padme to say the least was creeped out by the padawan and his intentions for her weren't something she wanted.
Naruto felt bad for her having to deal with it and luckily she had Obi-Wan and Naruto to keep an eye on him and was glad that he never tried anything more than just glancing and staring at her.
"Believe me I know, but it'll all be over and knowing Obi-Wan, it won't take them long to find answers and the person who's wanting you dead. I can think of one person who for sure wants you dead and it actually makes sense considering he was the one who invaded Naboo all those years ago." Naruto said, getting her attention as she stopped her packing and looked at him.
"Are you referring to Nute Gunray of the Trade Federation?" Padme asked.
He nodded and started cursing having not thought of him as a possibility, but it makes sense that he'd want him dead having been the reason for him getting arrested in the first place. The Viceroy no doubt hated her, despite still being a part of the Trade Federation.
"How can I be so stupid in forgetting about him? He would want revenge having his plans foiled by me, but it's still speculation until there's solid proof that he is the one behind it all." She told him and he nodded in agreement, but still was something to consider.
"For now, just bear with it and besides, you have me and R2 as company, so it's not all bad, right?" He asked, and she looked away which made him pout. She saw this and couldn't help, but giggle at his antics.
"You're right that R2 is good company, but I'm not entirely sure about my security guard who's also a speedster/former Shinobi." She said with Naruto dropping to his knees as tears fell down his cheeks.
"You hear that buddy, Padme doesn't care about me. She's being mean to me." He said to the droid who made noises and that seemed to be encouraging words from him. "I know, but she's stuck with us for the time being, isn't that right, Senator?" He questioned her who couldn't help it anymore and laughed with him following her not long after.
"You may not like the idea of going back as it'll seem like running away, but sometimes you need to put your pride aside to do what is needed and to accept that we need to do things we don't want to do." He said, surprising her, having not expected to hear that, but she smiled at his words.
"You're right. I'm just not liking having to seem weak, especially with everything going on in the Senate right now." She said.
"I can agree with you there, but all we can do is make the most of the situation." He said with her agreeing as she did something unexpected. She walked up to him with a smile until she was standing right in front of him and got on her toes and kissed his cheek. She held her lips to his cheek for a little bit until she moved away with a blush on her face, but had that same smile on her face as she turned to go finish packing, but added a sway to her hips. Naruto however couldn't help, but stare at them and put a hand to his cheek where her lips had been.

Next day the two of them were heading towards the transport that would take them to the ship that would than take them to Naboo. They met up with Obi-Wan and Anakin after getting comforted saying that they'd have the entire situation handled quickly which she was thankful for. Anakin gave them one last look, well one at Padme and one glare at Naruto in disdain before following his master. They had work to do and he had to focus on finding the assassin.
"Do you think they'll be able to find the assassin?" Padme asked as they boarded a refugee ship.
"I have complete faith in them to get the job done. They're both capable and with Obi-Wan leading it, it'll only be a matter of time until they get something. All we can do is wait." Naruto answered truthfully which
That calmed her nerves a bit hearing such confidence in his voice put her at ease, but she still couldn't help, but worry that things were getting out of control. She could only hope that things would get better for them and that they could bring the ones responsible to justice and than they could start doing peace talks again.
Oh how wrong she'd be. Naruto knew what would happen, but now with Anakin with his master instead of guard duty, would that change things. It didn't matter though, he would make sure that she would be safe. He did however send an enhanced clone to follow them, but had orders to make sure not to get spotted. The reason was to get information as the investigation went on until they would go to Kamino and get the chips removed or if not removed, but to at least make sure that no others would get them.
"It'll be nice going home though. Even if we just got here, I always enjoy going back and seeing friends and family." She said with a smile.
"Yeah. It's definitely one of the most beautiful places i've ever been to. It's very peaceful there, the people are kind, and the views are something I won't ever forget." He said, closing his eyes.
She looked at him and could see how calm he was as he described her home planet, city, and the people there. It truly was something to hear and see what he thought about them and it meant a lot to her. In the month since they've met, he'd done so much for her, even if he didn't realize it. He had been someone she could go too for anything and would make time to check on her to make sure she wasn't doing too much. He'd bring lunch or even dinner if he knew she would be out late. He did everything he could to make sure she would be taken care of, but what she loved about her time with the Uchiha was how he treated her, not like a Senator, a former queen, or even a politician, but as her own person. It was so different whenever he would just call her by name would make her smile and even giddy to have a friend like him, but lately she had been feeling conflicted regarding her growing feelings for him. She knew that something was there and that he felt similar if not the same, but knowing he would need to leave at some point made her feel sad and want to keep him with her, but knew he would have to eventually. She didn't know what she should do given her situation and maybe consort with someone for advice. Her old advisor would be someone she could go to for help since they had known each since she was a little girl or maybe even go see her parents. It had been sometime since she last saw or spoke with them, so this could be an opportunity to see them. She had time until they reached Naboo to think about it. For now though, she would just enjoy his company and lean on him for support in this troubling time.

After traveling for a while they made it to Naboo where there were a few people waiting for them and Naruto couldn't keep the smile off his face seeing how many people truly cared about Padme.
"Senator, Naruto, it's wonderful to see you both are safe and sound. We heard about the attempt on the Senator's life and are grateful that the attempts were failures." The Queen said in gratitude.
"It was all Naruto who kept me safe. He's the one who stopped both attempts on my life, so any thanks should go to him. Despite the failed attempts, I'm being forced to go into hiding." Padme grumbled at the end as she glared at the ground which Naruto found funny, but had to keep himself in check, but it was too much as a snicker fell through.
"We should move our discussion to the palace where we won't have any unwanted listeners and we won't be interrupted." The Queen said, having heard the small snicker and had an amused look at the two.
Padme heard it and looked at her guard with narrowed eyes as she tried to burn holes into him, but said nothing as she went back to talking with the queen, leaving Naruto to chuckle.
Once the group made their way to the palace, each had their own seats with Naruto recognizing everyone, but didn't say anything, not wanting to interrupt anything as they made small conversation until a certain Senator's safety came to light.
"…In the meantime we must consider your own safety." said the Queen to Senator Amidala.
"What is your suggestion, Naruto?" Bibble asked the Uchiha who looked at her before nodding.
"We thought about that on the way here and we were thinking we would stay out in the Lake Country. There are some places out there that are very isolated." Padme smiled thinking about her home as the others looked at Naruto who gave a shrug.
"Senator knows this place much better than me, so she's the person who would know what would be the best places for us to go and I trust her judgment on this." Naruto said with everyone looking at him with respect as many would take charge and not admit something they don't know as well.
"Very admirable of you boy, not many would admit to such things and it's one of the reasons I like you. You're so humble with things." Mr. Bibble said with a nod.
"I had a great mother who taught me a lot about humility and friends who kept me in check from getting too big of a head." Naruto humbly said.
"He really is something isn't he? Anyone else would've gloated or boasted these things, but not him. It's one of the reasons why I'm falling for you. If only things could be so simple though." Padme looked over at Naruto who said something that made Mr. Bibble chuckle.
"Then we're in agreement. That concludes this meeting until further notice, for now enjoy your time here." The Queen said with Naruto nodding in agreement.
Once the meeting ended, the two left the palace after giving their goodbyes and the others wished them safety and luck. They made small talk as they made their way to a shuttle that would take them to their destination. From what Padme told Naruto about Lake Country, The Lake Country was the most isolated area of the planet Naboo. Its population consisted of farmers, shaak herders, and glass craftworkers. A popular vacation spot, visitors traveled to see its waterfalls and open grasslands filled with wildflowers.
A remote retreat made up of a sparse, mainly farmer- and hermit-craftworker–dominated population, the Lake Country's water meadows were populated by flocks of grazing shaak, and rivers that provided the fertile land's waterfalls regularly flooded the area, though it was left dry in summer. The region, known for its great natural beauty, was located in a valley dotted with numerous lakes and surrounded by mountains. Its lakes were sealed off from Naboo's underground waterways and caverns and thus were safe from large aquatic creatures. The natural heritage of the Lake Country was protected by the Naboo. After the Invasion of Naboo, new treaties with the Gungans were signed that reinforced the isolation of the lakes in the region.

When they made it to Lake Country, it was where Padme's family was. They welcomed them with open arms and greeted her with hugs and warm smiles. When they saw Naruto they nodded and welcomed him as well since apparently they had heard about him from his charge who looked at her with amusement as she blushed at what he learned. It was embarrassing for her to for him to learn that she had been talking about him to her family, but he just said that he was flattered that she would do so, but he gave her a teasing grin that didn't help anything with her blush growing.
"Naruto! Don't tease me like that, you know I don't like it!" Padme pouted as everyone laughed with Naruto looking bemused.
"I'm sorry, but you're just so cute when you act so shy, I can't help myself." His grin grew as did her face turn redder before she pushed past him with a hmpf, leaving the parents and Naruto when they bursted out laughing.
"Really though, we want to thank you for everything you've done to make sure that our daughter would be safe. We worry about her as a Senator, knowing that she'll have made enemies." Her father, who's name is Ruwee Naberrie said with a frown.
"But we still worry that something will happen. We're her parents, so we'll always be concerned for her safety, but we know that she will be in your hands." Padme's mother, Jobal Naberrie said, much to his embarrassment of the praise, but nodded anyway.
"I'll do everything I can to protect her. She's been an amazing host to me ever since I arrived. Um, did she by chance explain my situation?" He asked them, who nodded with smiles still on their faces.
"She did and I have to say it's impressive that you can travel between worlds like you are able to, but she also said that you have only gone to worlds by accident when you're trying to find your world." Ruwee said in fascination.
"Why don't we get you situated and we can talk more at dinner? I imagine you both must be hungry from your travels. Come, we have a guest room that you can use when Padme told us that we'd have company." Jubee led him to the room as Ruwee continued asking questions about his world and what it's like.
They continued their discussion when Jubee excused herself and went to check on their daughter. She found her room and knocked when she got the call to enter, she found her on the bed laying down on her back staring at the ceiling, redness still on her cheeks. She found this entire thing amusing, but knew something was on her daughter's mind, so she would talk with her.
"What's on your mind Padme? Something seems to be troubling you?"" Jubee asked her daughter.
"It's nothing mother, just been thinking." Padme answered, but saw her mother smile turn into a small grin that she knew all too well what that meant.
"Ah I see, it's about a boy isn't it? Perhaps, a certain bodyguard that's been with you for the past couple months?" Jubee's eyes had a gleam in them with mischief and also some hope.
Padme's face turned red upon hearing this, knowing she'd been caught. She could deny it, but what good would it do? She knew she cared for Naruto greatly, far more than friend or a guard, but he was something else compared to other people she had met.
"Yes, alright. I've grown quite fond and attached to him since he's been protecting me, but he does more than just keep me safe. When he talks to me, it's not just about my business as a senator, but as me. He's shown how much he cares about me and how kind he is to those around him. It's hard not to feel something for him, but it's hard knowing that he won't be here forever." Padme said, making her grin soften to a smile, but then became confused at the end.
"What do you mean?" Jubee was confused on what she meant regarding him.
"You know he's not from this galaxy or universe, right? This isn't his home and he'll be leaving soon to get back to his friends and family who I'm sure are very worried about him. I'm not sure if I could tell him even if he'd be back to visit.." Padme sighed sadly at this.
"Does he feel the same way about you?" Padme's mother asked.
"I'm not sure. I think so?" Padme said unsure.
"Why not see where it goes and talk to him about these feelings you have for him? I can see how he feels something for you. It's obvious he cares about you greatly, but what distinguishes between him caring as a friend and more is when he smiles at you. Just alone tonight, I've seen his smile shine so much from just looking at you. Whatever is going on with him having to leave, he'll find a way to see you again if he cares for you as much as I think he does." Jubee said.
Padme couldn't keep the smile off her face as she thought about everything that had happened since she met Naruto and how he'd try to do anything to make her life better. The small things he did for her made her feel butterflies in her stomach and realize that maybe her mother was right. She really did need to speak with him, not tonight though, maybe tomorrow or when it'll be just the two of them only. She'd want to think about how to go about this instead of rushing things because that would be a disaster.
"Thanks mom. You always seem to know what to say when I need your help with something." Padme smiled at her mother.
"It's my job to help you." Her eyes then shined as a gleam came to them. "But do hurry and get me some grandbabies, I'm not getting any younger, my daughter." Jubee giggled as Padme's eyes widened and her blush came back heavily and her opened in shock.
"Mother!" Padme nearly yelled, not wanting to wake anyone up. She couldn't believe that she had said that out loud….. And now she was thinking about it with him. Oh they'd be beautiful, no stop it Padme. This isn't the time to be thinking about that.
"Oh come now, I'm only teasing you, but really if he cares for you as much as I think he does, then he'd come see you as soon as possible. I'm sure that when he finds a way to communicate with you from his home, you'll be having those conversations all the time. I know he'll figure it out, he seems like a smart boy. Think about what I've said and you'll figure it out. Goodnight Padme." Jubee said as she got up to leave.
"Thanks and goodnight mother." Padme said, deciding to get ready herself for bed as she felt better now.

Obi-Wan and Anakin got the information after a couple weeks they needed regarding the bounty hunter and where they had a lead on where he resided at. What neither noticed was they had someone following them and managed to sneak into one of the fighters as he changed into a spare piece of the ship.
Having only a Kamino Saber Dart as evidence; Obi-Wan Kenobi and his padawan were pursuing the sole clue they had on the bounty hunter after Senator Padmé Amidala. It led them to the planet Kamino where it was constantly raining. They met up with the natives where they learned about the bounty hunter and the fact that there was an army being created here for the purpose of serving the Republic. It baffled the Jedi, but this created more questions for them.
"Do you have any background on him?" Master Kenobi asked the prime minister.
"Not much; he keeps to himself. Jango Fett has an unaltered clone of himself named Boba Fett for a son and uses Mandalorian weapons and armor.I can't tell you much more as I've never actually met him. He stays here on occasion and takes care of him when he does stop by." Lama Su told the Jedi who nodded at the information
"I just want to talk to this bounty hunter and find out who hired him. Hopefully it won't resort to a violent conflict of interests." Obi-Wan said.
"What about me Master, shouldn't I come too?" Anakin asked, feeling left out.
"No, my padawan. I need you to stay at the ships in case this bounty hunter tries to escape if something happens." Obi-Wan said, with Anakin frowning, but accepted it anyway, leaving to do as told.
Anakin was bored, having to wait and do nothing while his master was questioning the scum bounty hunter. Why couldn't he be allowed to be there to question him? He could get answers being there and make him pay for almost killing his crush. This led to him thinking about her and his bodyguard which angered him even more. How could she trust someone like him, when Anakin who was a Jedi should've been the one to protect her? It just didn't make any sense to him that she'd trust a regular security guard to keep her safe. He looked to get his communicator out to check on his master when he contacted him to let him know how everything went. When it ended, in the corner of his eye he caught a shadow lurking about, as if he was heading somewhere without being noticed. He narrowed his eyes and went after whoever that was and would get some answers. He caught up to the person easily enough and it looked like he was heading towards one of the main computers. Having had enough waiting he rushed in to stop him before anything could happen.
"You're under arrest!" Anakin shouted at him who didn't turn around immediately, but when he did, the padawan saw the rest of his mask on that covered his face and hair, but had two eye holes with them being purple rings and strange designs. (Think Obito's mask during the war.)
He didn't respond to his words, but sent two shuriken at him at speeds that he managed to cut with his lightsaber, if barely. Anakin saw the assailant charging him and met him head on with a downward slash with his blade and was met with his own blade that having reinforced it with Chakra to keep it from breaking. Neither was giving a inch and seeing the stalemate they were in, Anakin brought his left hand up and used the force to push him back, but all he got was him to slide back a bit.
Anakin charged at him using the force to amplify his speed as he was on him instantly and went for a stab at his chest, but when he was about to make contact, he went through him with no damage being done. Naruto swung his blade to the side with Anakin parrying his strike to the side as they exchanged strikes. Anakin was using all of his training to get a shot, but everything was being met with ease which was starting to really piss him off. Naruto ducked under a swipe, leaving him open and kicked him in the chest that pushed him back.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Anakin questioned with a snarl at seeing someone give him a difficult time.
The clone didn't answer and did some strange hand signs that the padawan didn't know what to make of when he was suddenly hit with bullets of air that came from nowhere as he grunted from the impact. He decided to end this, and then make his escape he activated his Sharingan and appeared in front of him, ready to put him to sleep with a Genjutsu when all of a sudden the clone felt his throat being crushed by something. He looked to see Anakin holding his hand out in a clenched fashion and knew immediately what was happening.
"Now you're going to tell me what you're doing here and who you are or I will crush your throat." The padawan threatened with a serious look.
With not getting an answer, he squeezed harder and got a gasp out of it, but nothing else which angered him more than not getting what he wanted. What he wasn't expecting next was that he was pushed back by an unknown force. He used a small Almighty Push to gain some distance and a breather. He used the opportunity to escape using the Kamui as Anakin got back up to see him disappearing in a swirl, leaving the padawan alone with a scowl on his face as he checked the area before heading back to where the fighters were and his master was waiting for him now no doubt with a frown on him, probably wondering where he'd been and why he left the fighters alone.
Not far away, the clone was watching from afar with a frown behind his mask, having not been able to accomplish his task. He didn't have much chakra left now after fighting Anakin.
"Bastard. You've just doomed everyone since I can no longer get the chance to get the chips removed from future clones. I hope that things go differently." He said somberly before dispelling, leaving no trace of anyone being there.

Naruto blinked his eyes at the memories that he got from his clone and couldn't help, but scowl a little at what had transpired. Things were now going to be the same and there was nothing he could do now to change things. Luckily Padme couldn't see the scowl on his face as she was sitting on the porch talking with her sister as they giggled at something. Naruto shook his head and stood up from his spot, wanting to get some training done, but hasn't had a lot of time to do it as of late. This would be as good a time as any, but what is the question. Some sparring would be a good workout and what better way than against himself. He didn't need to do the hand sign when he'd mastered it to where a thought was all it took to summon a clone and without the smoke too. It stood across from him with a smirk on his face, already knowing what was happening. It had enough chakra to take more than one hit to dispel it.
Padme and her sister who he learned was Sola saw the clone and the latter was completely shocked at seeing the clone appear with Padme surprised too. She may have known about it, but seeing it in person is different.
"What's he doing?" Sola asked her sister who looked curious and intrigued.
"I'm not sure, but it wouldn't hurt to watch, right?" Padme questioned with a shrug as they went back to watching.
Are you ready for this?" Naruto asked with a smirk cracking his neck and knuckles loosening them up.
"You bet I am. I've been looking forward to this for some time." Yami smiled sadistically at the man.
They didn't say anything else as they rushed at each other. "Ready?" Naruto asked as Yami nodded.
Naruto threw a punch for his head, but Yami managed to deflect it to the side following with a kick. Naruto managed to weave as he passed him with Naruto elbowing him in the chest sending him skidding back. Naruto smirked at his other half with Yami smirking back with a nod before they vanished. Both of them were fighting with each other. Suddenly both Naruto disappeared and appeared in the middle of the arena, throwing punches and kicks at each other at great speed. Then they vanished again.
They appeared again and punched each other's fists, which created a Shockwave creating dust clouds.
For the next few minutes, they traded blows shocking many at the speed and power that they were showing off as not many of them could keep up.
Both Naruto and his clone moved from each other and started making some hand signs. They both shouted at the same time.
"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique." Naruto said and a large amount of water rose from the lake, and it took the shape of a giant, powerful dragon.
"Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet." Naruto clone said. He took a deep breath and exhaled a long stream of incredibly hot fire from the mouth, which took the form of a large dragon.
Both dragons charged each other and they collided at the same time.

That sent Shockwaves in the whole arena as they had to cover their eyes from the explosion being .
A few minutes later, the mist disappeared. They saw that both Naruto were perfectly fine. They don't have any scratches on them.
Naruto summoned chains from his back as the clone evaded them pulling out a kunai as he was deflecting the chains away from him. The clone activated his Sharingan into his eyes and he saw Naruto continue to send his chains out and was about to grab him when a blue skeleton-like structure. It slowly had skin covering it that turned into armor. It was huge, but it was just the upper half of the body. It held a sword and a shield.
"So you went with Susanoo huh?" Naruto asked with a smirk, never leaving his face.
"It was the best chance to counter the chains since I wouldn't have been able to avoid them all with how many you sent out." The clone said as he rolled his shoulders, releasing a pop from them.
"True, but now we can start the real spar." Naruto grinned with the clone giving the same eager one as they readied to begin again.
"Stop this right now." They saw Padme stomping towards them making them nervous as they released their techniques, but just before she reached them, the clone gave his boss a smirk that told Naruto everything as it disappeared leaving him alone to suffer the consequences.
"Ah shit." He said before she started to give him quite the lecture.
"NARUTO UCHIHA! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW CLOSE YOU WERE TO DESTROYING THIS PLACE?!" Padme shouted at him who seemed to shrink into a chibi while Padme continued on. "IF I HADN'T STOPPED YOU AND YOUR CLONE FROM FIGHTING, THERE WOULDN'T BE ANYTHING LEFT!" She huffed after finishing then looked at him. "Well, what do you have to say for yourself Mr?" She asked him with her fist on her hip.
"Damn, she really is like Mom when she's pissed off, it's scary to think about that, but it's also something that I admire about her. She's not afraid to speak her mind or show that she's not afraid when someone is trying to kill her." He thought with Kurama nodding in agreement from the seal.
"I couldn't agree more kit, she's certainly something and quite the woman. You should definitely mate with her." The fox smirked at his host's flustered face.
"Shut up baka!" Naruto could only respond which made the Biju laugh harder. He ended the connection, but could still hear faint snickering from his partner.
"I was… um… I got nothing to say." He rubbed the back of his neck with a sheepish smile. She rolled her eyes at his words, having expected him to say something like that.
"What am I going to do with you?" Padme sighed before smiling at him, but sniffed the air and gagged. "You need a shower sir. Dinner is going to be ready soon and I don't want you smelling like that, so off you go." She pushed him from behind as he laughed at her actions while Sola was giggling at them and how they interacted.
"Alright, alright. I'm going, no need to push anymore." Naruto whined, but was ignored as she continued pushing him inside when she gave him one more push, but he tripped over one of the steps and started sliding back down. Since Padme was still behind him, she went with him as they tumbled through the stairs.
Sola heard the commotion and went to go check on them, but was surprised when she saw them and couldn't help, but open her mouth to say something, but nothing came out. They were in quite the position. Naruto was on his back while holding Padme's waist who was straddling him and they're lips were inches apart from each other. They just stared at each other's eyes, not moving from one another. They each could feel their breaths on the other and it was enticing when they moved closer to enact their desires and kissed with neither moving to back off which further enticed their feelings for one another.
This lasted for a few minutes when both needed to come back for air when they realized what had happened with both blushing atomic and got up from their positions and then heard chuckling which made Padme's face change to one of horror and saw her sister was there and had seen the entire thing. She was about to run to her room and try to forget what had happened when Naruto grabbed her wrist gently, yet had a firm grip on it. She looked to see Naruto had stopped her and all he did was give her a smile that she couldn't help, but return the gesture as she relaxed a bit when he wasn't mad or even upset at what happened, but was at peace.
"Can we talk after I get out of the shower? I think this is a discussion that we've been avoiding for some time now and with what just happened, we should talk about this." His smile never left his face and his words gave her hope and brightened her eyes as she nodded and he did the same before letting go to go get cleaned up, leaving the two sisters alone.
"I can't believe I did that." Padme was the first to break the silence as she all, but dropped herself on the couch with her sister following her actions, but had a shit eating grin on her face the entire time.
"I think it's about time that you two got that settled. I was honestly thinking of shoving you both in a closet to sort this out, but turns out I didn't have to do a thing." Sola was having a blast with this situation, but was also glad that her sister found someone like Naruto who showed great qualities. She was almost jealous of her snatching him as he was very attractive, but seeing her sister look at him with awe and love stopped her.
"Shut up Sola." Padme could only say as she gave her sister a small glare that help no malice in it.
"Oh come on, it was bound to happen at some point, but I'm glad it did. He makes you happy and the same goes for you." Sola said, hoping to bring some encouragement to her.
"Yeah, but remember he won't be here for much longer. As soon as this whole mess is done, he'll need to leave and who knows when he'll be back." Padme pointed out with a sigh as her shoulders visibly slumped.
"Maybe so, but he will be back, you know it and so does he. You mentioned that he can track different universes he's been too with the speed force, right?" Sola asked, seeing her sister nod she continued. "And I can guarantee that as soon as he has a means to communicate with you without having to be here, he'll rush right back here for you." Sola said her grin growing seeing the blush on her sister's face grow a bit more as a smile replaced the frown on her face.
"I suppose you're right. He isn't one to hurt anyone intentionally, especially those he cares about. He'll be determined to come back with a means to talk to me if he finds a way." Padme said, feeling a bit better.

Dinner had gone splendidly with the family as Jubee and Ruwee heard about what happened with Padme and Naruto. Jubee just laughed and gave them teasing grins, but Ruwee gave Naruto a narrowed eye look which made him gulp from nervousness, but then gave a smirk and started chuckling much to his amusement, Naruto just went with it and sulked with Padme rubbing his back to comfort him, but had a teasing smile on her face. Naruto and Padme now sat in the living room as they enjoyed each other's company.
While Padme led him outside saying that she wanted to show him something. "You know I used to come here when I was a little kid. My parents would bring me out here and I would swim in the water. I would always try to get to those islands over there but never make it so my parents would have to drag me back in." Padme said as she laughed and pointed to an island into the distance.
"Well maybe we could try doing it together and if it gets too tough I could just carry you while I walk us over there." Naruto said as he put his hand on the railing and looked at the huge puffy white clouds in the sky before looking back at Padme who was now looking at the sun set under the ocean.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" Padme asked as she continued to watch the sunset until it was about halfway while resting her chin on the palm of her hand.
"Beautiful doesn't even begin to describe it" Naruto said quietly but loud enough for her to hear him as he continued to look at her not really caring about the sun that was setting but instead was entranced by the woman that was right next to him.
Feeling as though someone was watching her, Padme slowly turned away from the sun to see Naruto staring at the sun with a content smile that made her lean into him with a content sigh escaping her lips.
Naruto felt her touch and couldn't help, but wrap his arm around her shoulder. This action made her relax into his embrace, living the feeling of his arm around her than without hesitation put her hands on the sides of his face before leaning in to kiss him. He was taken by surprise but after a second or two he kissed her back with them getting into it, Naruto grabbed her waist and pulled her closer to him and with that their lips were interlocked as the sun set behind them. After a few seconds of making out they finally separated their lips.
"sorry just had to test something out" Padme said as thye took a deep breath of air due to the lack of breathing.
"Don't apologize" Naruto quickly when she pulled him inside with a look of lust and determination in her step, but as soon as they stepped inside they went back to making out on the way to her wasn't long before they entered the room with Naruto kicking the door shut with his foot and turned around to lock the door. When he look back he saw her taking her shirt off and pulled him in for another kiss to which Naruto returned eagerly but this time Naruto noticed that Padme had taken control as she was now leading him to her bed and when they were close enough she pushed him onto her bed.
"You have ten seconds to take your clothes off before I rip them off," Padme purred seductively as she was now shedding her other clothes.
"Padme, are you sure about this?" Naruto asked nervously but that didn't stop him from taking off his own clothes with as much zealous and as fast as humanly possible. Once he was done and was left in the nude as he covered his private area with his hands as he looked up to see Padme left only in her black bra and panties making it somewhat harder to cover his private area.
"Naruto I've never been more confident in anything I've done before" Padme said in a seductive voice as she pulled down her panties and then took off her bra "the question is do you want this?" Padme asked seductively as she slowly climbed on the bed letting Naruto look at her body until she was practically on top of him while grabbing his hardening member 'oh my god he's huge!' Padme thought as a grin appeared on her face.
"I've wanted to do this for a long time now. Just so you know, you did this to yourself." Naruto growled out, getting a shiver of pleasure running through her spine before she squealed when he flipped with him being on top now.

Naruto Uzumaki was sitting up meditating while Padmé was already fast asleep. Something had him on edge which he already knew what was coming. "It'll be happening soon." He whispered to himself.
It was then that Padmé peered into his room with a glass of water in her hand with a look of worry on her face. "Can't you sleep, Naruto?" She asked seeing the frown on him.
The speedster looked up at her beautiful countenance silhouetted in the moonlight and said, "The war has started at Geonosis, Padmé. I'm afraid things are going to get a lot rougher from here on out."
She looked alarmed at Naruto's crestfallen look and grabbed a handheld holographic communicator. Turning it on, the headlines popped up one after the other:
"…Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine has condemned Count Dooku of Serenno and the Confederacy of Independent Systems…"
"…A Grand Army of the Republic has been raised to counter the threat of the Droid Army serving the Separatist cause…"
"…An enormous battle has broken out in the Geonosis System between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Thousands of troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic have been lost already and the Geonosians have likewise lost thousands of battle droids from their army. The Jedi are aiding the Republic forces but it is very unclear who is winning this titanic battle at this point…"
"… The recent turmoil which occurred on planet Ando has left the galaxy staggered and the Ando System seceded from the Galactic Republic, joining the Confederacy of Independent Systems…"

Naruto sat on the couch with a frown as he watched the headlines zip by at near light speed. He looked down and his raven hair bangs shaded his eyes from her to see..
Padmé knelt down beside her lover and held onto his right bicep for warmth. Eventually they wrapped their arms around each other for comfort in the dark of the cold night on Naboo.
"Padme, you know I told you about how there were movies and shows based on everyone here, right?" He asked, she gave him a questioning look, but nodded nonetheless. "There is someone behind everything like I mentioned and it's not Dooku who is merely a pawn to the mastermind behind it all." He said, with her looking at him in surprise.
"If that's true, then do you know who it is or could be? If Dooku is the only apprentice to the Sith Lord, then who's the real Sith Lord?" She asked in a worried tone.
"His name is Darth Sidious, but I will only tell you his real name if you promise not to tell anyone about what I am about to tell you." He told her seriously, which got her shocked since this information could end things before they escalate.
"But why? Why can't I tell anyone? Surely someone like Senator Organa or even Obi-Wan are trustworthy to know, right?" She asked which made him nod in agreement.
"Yes, but it's not about not finding them trustworthy, but it's the fact that it would make it seem just blatant accusation without any proof. If you could find proof that he is what he is, then I would be better about exposing him, but not without proof and support. There are some Jedi that would act irrational about it if they learned this and it would be disastrous for everyone, especially the Jedi since it could be twisted that they just attacked someone for no reason. Do you understand?" He asked, giving her a stern look that told her he wouldn't budge on it.
She sighed, knowing that this would be the best thing to do right now and she trusted him completely. He was only wanting to keep her safe and she loved that about him.
"I promise." She said as Naruto looked at her for a moment to see if she was actually going to do it, but saw no lies or deceit which made him feel much better.
"The Sith Lord that is the cause of not only the war that is about to happen, but also the one who helped Gunray attack Naboo all those years ago is Supreme Chancellor Palpatine." He said as he saw Padme's eyes widen at what she just heard.
It seemed impossible to think or even consider since he had helped her so much since she had first become queen and then Senator of Naboo. It had to be a lie, but the look she saw on his face told her that he was being serious and that frightened her hearing that the person she respected so much was the one who had Naboo nearly plunged into war.
"But why would he attack his home planet if what you're saying is true, it doesn't make any sense." She said in a depressed voice that made him wince knowing that this would be difficult for her to hear.
"It kind of does, because he knew you would come to Coruscant to make a plea case to the Senate to get their help, but with how little action that the Chancellor before him did would push you to want someone to replace him. He knew that he would be picked if someone replaced him where he could be in charge of everyone and now with the war starting and him being given emergency powers, this will give him even more than he had before. Not only that, but the guy just gave me a bad feeling." He said.
Now this had her attention since he hadn't mentioned it before, but then again with what was learning now, it would've been harder to hear at the time.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"When we were in that meeting with him and the Jedi Council, Ime and Kurama could just sense and feel the negative emotions coming off of him and it was directed towards the Jedi." He told her.
This she wasn't as surprised in since if he was indeed a Sith Lord, then it would make sense to hate the Jedi being their enemies for so long.
"So what now, with what we know, something needs to be done about this." Padme said in conviction that Naruto smiled at loving her kind nature to help others, but also had a mean streak when it came to threatening those she cared about.
"You'll need to get proof of Palpatine's involvement with Dooku and how he's behind everything. I won't be around much longer to help sadly." Naruto said, getting her to look at him with a frown as she buried her head in his chest and started mumbling things that Naruto couldn't really understand, but found it adorable all the same.
"That means, you're going to be leaving soon?" She asked, already dreading him being gone.
"When we get back to Coruscant, I'll be making my way towards home. I did however have something for you that you'll like. It's something that I've been working on for a few months now." He said, getting up from his spot with Padme looking at him in curiosity as he went towards his room and heard shuffling and things moved around.
A few minutes later, he came back and had a grin on his face as he was holding a circular object that she would assume was a communicator since it looked like them.
"What is this?" She asked.
"This is a dimensional communicator that I had been working on for the last few months and only a couple of days ago did I finish it. I have a few others that I managed to create after testing it out to make sure it worked properly." He told her, seeing her eyes widen at what he was getting at.
"This is what I think it is then? We'll be able to speak with each other even if you're not in this universe anymore?" She asked hope in her voice and she gained a look of pure joy when he nodded as she set it down before jumping at him as he was knocked over with a "oopf" when she gave him several kisses and one that poured all of happiness.
When she pulled back for air, she had the same smile on her face, so happy that she means to talk to her lover now and wouldn't have to worry about that anymore.
"I see that someone's happy with my work. I should do things like this more often." He joked as she slapped his chest, but hummed in agreement.
"Yes, you should." Was all she said as she raised her head high as if trying to have a look of haughtiness. He laughed at her attempt when she squeaked from him poking at her sides when she gave him a glare that had no malice in it.
She put it down on the table in front of them and sat down on the couch with Naruto next to her as she snuggled into his side with a sigh of content. Naruto held her close, loving her scent and her all the same.

"Thank you for everything you've done for us, Naruto. I hope to see you again, kid." Captain Typho said as they shook hands.
"It was no problem and I had a great time meeting you both. I'll be back though and hopefully this war will end soon." Naruto said with him nodding as he hadn't been happy over the Clone Wars beginning.
Now it was Padme's turn to say her goodbye and she really didn't want him to leave and just stay with her, but he knew that would be selfish of her since there were others waiting for him at home. She did wonder what it would be like to see what Earth and Central City was like though.
"Guess this is goodbye huh?" Padme asked, a little sad that he's leaving.
"It's not goodbye. I'll be back, remember I have this universe's energy memorized and I won't be missing out on coming to see you. It's more of a see you later if you will. Don't forget you have that communicator I gave you, so we can see each other and talk when we can." Naruto assured her, which cheered her up a bit.
"I'll hold you to that Mr. Speedster." Padme joked, making them both chuckle.
"I'll miss you though. I'll come back as soon as I can and hey maybe you can even come back with me if you ever decide you want a new life somewhere else or even just to visit." Naruto said with a smile.
Naruto turned and was about to take off when he stopped before he grabbed Padme by the waist and brought her in for one last kiss that put all of his feelings into it. Surprised by the action, she closed her eyes and returned it with equal passion as she moaned from the passion she was feeling behind it. They separated with a string of saliva connecting them and their foreheads touching showing how close and intimate there were.
"That's to let you know that I'll be back and no matter what anyone says, I love you Padme." Naruto said, as she stepped back as Naruto had his suit on and a portal opened up in front of him and the next second he was gone with the portal closing instantly, leaving the Senator and Captain on the balcony.
'I love you too Naruto.' She thought as she went back to her duties.
And that's the end of the chapter, sorry it took me awhile to get it out, but that's the end of his time in the Star Wars Universe. There will be two more chapters written, but another that will be only mentioned in passing before he gets home which I already know and have planned.
