It didn't take long before Cyrus implemented a zero tolerance policy. This policy was comprised with the following rules:
There will be no wand waving outside of classrooms or common rooms. If anyone should break this rule they shall first face a detention, second offense will be met with a suspension, and third offense will be met with expulsion as well as DMLE involvement depending upon the severity of the spell thrown.
There shall be no name calling or bullying allowed. All three offenses shall be met with the same as previously mentioned though without DMLE involvement.
It also didn't take Cyrus long to change up the school's schedule. Within a month the Weasley twins had virtually been blocked around all ends and corners from pulling their malicious pranks. Cyrus added new classes to the schedule and even had new teachers available before the end of the first week. He even spoke with McGonagall about her positions in the school and she was more than willing to step down from the role of Deputy Headmistress, Cyrus thanked her for the time she had spent in the role before offering the role to Duel Master Fillius Flitwick. Cyrus also managed to sack Snape within the first week before handing him to the DMLE due to threatening a student. It took some working but Cyrus was able to get ahold of a few muggle ones to help with the fitness class along with the new sports program. Harry, Draco, and company were pleased to know that everything was looking better.
Harry did meet with Sassy again and asked her to destroy the diary, to which Sassy was pleased to assist with. Harry also asked her to find Ravenclaw's lost diadem in the Room of Lost Things and destroy it also. This didn't take Sassy long to do seeing as she knew was the diadem looked like from all those years ago.
The rest of second year passed with little fanfare. Cyrus did unfortunately have to suspend the Weasley twins once along with Ronald, though Ronald was suspended about the poor quality of his homework, along with expelling three Slytherins and two Ravenclaws for Spell casting, all five were handed to the DMLE for use of potentially deadly spells. The group ended the year with top marks in all classes and managed to select electives for the next year that either fit into their future careers or interested them. Harry was determined that this time around he wouldn't slack off and took Arithmancy and Ancient Runes. Draco also took those classes and COMC (Care of Magical Creatures).
The group gathered together just outside of Gryffindors office to show Cyrus where they studied all year, though Harry did warn him that he wouldn't show Cyrus where the true ward-stone was kept. Harry, Hermione, and Susan were pleased to note that the founders original wards were back to full power and that the wards from all the other headmasters were gone.
"This, Lord Greengrass, is the office of Goodrich Gryffindor. This is where the eight of us have been studying all year. There are portraits of the founders in each of their offices, but we use Gryffindor's office because it is the least tacky of all the offices and is big enough of all of us." Harry explained as he lead Cyrus into the office. "If you can't find us this is most likely where we are at. We have access to Ravenclaws personally library along with a path to the main library."
After that Cyrus told the kids they needed to head to the train. Harry was pleased to note that thanks to Amelia and what the pair started over the Holiday break, Sirius was now a free man and Harry didn't have to ever return to the Dursleys. The group agreed and headed off for the train, though Daphne did warn her father that if he wasn't home for dinner that night she would be sending her mother after him. Cyrus paled a bit before saying he would see her at dinner that night.
The train ride home was peaceful and the group managed to finish a decent chunk of their summer homework. The only disturbance they faced was when Ronald tried to sit with them, but that quickly changed when Harry informed Ronald and the Zero Tolerance Policy also covered the train and that if he called anyone names or bullied anyone that Headmaster Greengrass would know and Ronald would face expulsion seeing as he had already been suspended once. Ronald then quickly left them alone.
All the fun started however when they reached the platform. The "fun" began with the actions of two people, Molly Weasley and Lucious Malfoy. Harry just smirked as Amelia Bones and Augusta Longbottom ripped into the two of them and dared them to threatened a student. Lucious was not pleased that his son was friends with a, as he put it, mudblood. And Molly wasn't pleased that Harry seemed to no longer be friends with Ronald and was friends with Draco instead. Harry didn't care and knew that for the first few weeks of summer he would be staying with both the Bones family and the Longbottom family, but did inform Molly that it was his choice who he was friends with. Amelia nodded before taking both Harry and Susan to Bones Manor through the floo network.
Albus Dumbledore was released from the Brazilian prison after his six month sentence was up and was given a portkey back to Britain. Once he arrived in the ministry he was again arrested and taken to a holding cell. Dumbledore knew that someone was behind his current string of bad luck, but for the life of him couldn't figure out who was behind it.
Hiding off in the shadows three figures stood all chuckling as they watched their plans for Albus Dumbledore continue to unfold.
Tyche looked over at Nemesis and Eris and said, "all seems to be going to plan. Dumbledore will be out of the way for a while now and once he gets out too much will have changed for his plans to work."
"I'm having fun just messing with him. Though The Fates did say that after one full year there would be too many changes for his plans." Eris said before turning to the other two. "I believe we can leave this for now, though we will have to return for his trial and make sure he doesn't get off Scott free."
"Agreed," Nemesis said before flashing away, she was soon followed by the other two. Dumbledore was again placed in a cell with prisoner robes and left to sit there. The charges against him were outrageous in his opinion but he also knew they were the truth.
