"Bella? What are you doing here? What happened? I was expecting to first see you after your wedding."

All my worries quickly disappear, and a small grin appears on my face. Jake even managed to crack a pun in this situation, even if it wasn't intended as one. I come out of my small dream world; I notice that I stared at Jake for a while longer than I thought I did. I answer Jake's questions trying to brace myself.

"We need to talk. Can we go to the beach perhaps?"

Jacob nodded slowly, in confusion. We didn't talk the whole way there, it would be awkward if I were with another, but never with Jacob. My thoughts pondered as did my eyes, I never noticed the large tree just before we can see the beach. I can feel his eyes on me, but nobody broke the silence. We sat down on the sand, I didn't care about my wedding dress at that moment, my time with Jake is more important. I was speculating about how I could start the conversation, I decided to answer his questions first.

"I ran away from my wedding. I realized it way too late. Edward is a nice guy, but I don't feel like Bella around him. I feel inferior. How can such an elegant vampire be in love with a girl like me? I also didn't think about it before, but vampires are more attractive to us because we are their prey. But Jake, you never make me feel small, you include me in everything. And when I am about to fall you always pick me up."

I teared up while saying the last part, Jake was always there for me, and I never realized it. How foolish can one be? I couldn't face Jacob while I was looking like this. I bowed my head slightly, and Jake lifted my chin up slightly till our eyes met. His eyes melted looking at me, he gave me a big bear hug. If I could, I would stay like this forever. Until I realize I can't breathe. I choke

"J-Jake some air please"

He immediately jumps back and starts apologizing. I laugh it off and forgive him. Who can't forgive those big, gorgeous puppy eyes!

Jacob coughs to get serious. He puts on a serious face. And says:

"Bella, you have to do whatever makes YOU happy! Getting married is a big deal, do it with whom you would choose over an over again if you had to. Choose that bl- Edward if that's what makes you happy. As long as you are happy, we are happy Bella. Our happiness resides with you."

I look deep into Jacob's eyes and blurt out:

"Just Kiss me already"

Jacob and my eyes widen. I, myself didn't expect me to say such in this situation. I read Jacob's face to see if I said anything wrong and see a cute smile instead. This time he waits for me to execute it. I lean in, giving him a hint. He quickly leans in and grabs my cheeks wet from crying. His grip is gentle, his warm lips form after mine and create new patterns. We continue until he pecks my lips a last time and pulls back. He sighs

"You don't know how long I have been waiting for this Bella… But why now? You didn't even tell me whom you want to be with?"

There is a moment of silence until I smile foolishly giggling a little over his slow pace. Then it hits him

"OHHHHHHHH"

I roll my eyes and we both burst into laughter. I haven't felt this good in a while….

I answer slowly and pronounce every letter, mocking his slowness:

"I. Only. Want. To. Be. With. You."

"I only want to be with you forever Jake! I love you from the moon and back, actually no. From the earth to the sun, because there is more distance in between, which means more love. I love you till infinity; I love you and always will love you, Jacob Black."
