Hello again!
Sorry for the first chapter being all bold. I just saw it and fixed it. Also, Naruto's weapon will polearm (they are my favorite weapon type in genshin). I'll explain it when it shows up in the story. And the reason I'm not giving him a bow or catalyst is because I think that kunai, shuriken and chakra would be a good substitute for them. Since this is my first story, I'm still working out the kinks and refining it as it goes, so any review is helpful. Anyways, neither Genshin impact nor Naruto belong to me. They belong to Mihoyo and Masashi Kishimoto respectively. Enjoy!

"Jean?" Lumine couldn't believe it. The acting grand master was the contact?
"First of all, this is one of the people I contacted. Second, she's here as Jean, not as the acting grand master." Diluc's tone lacked the edge it had when they last spoke.
"I didn't think the honorary knight would be the one who tried to steal the holy lyre. Anyways, I'm here because apparently, our bard friend here, found a way to help Dvalin." Jean's words put Lumine and Paimon at ease. They were safe. "I also can't make a public statement on this, because if I did make one, the fatui would be quick to capitalize on it. I still don't know what they are planning, but I know it can't be good"
"Luckily for you Aunt Jean, I took the liberty to 'ask' a fatui eavesdropper about our situation." Naruto's sudden appearance shook Lumine and Paimon.
"Whiskers?! Are you insensitive? Don't scare Paimon like that!" the fairy shouted in anger.
Said person just chuckled, "Not my fault that you are so easily scared, Yapping Fly." In indignant squeak from Paimon signaled the start of a banter.
"Ahem. I think that's enough." Naruto gave a sheepish smile and scratched the back of his head, giving him a childish look.
"Anyways," Diluc cut in, "Let's talk about our findings."
"Right," Naruto lost his smile and his eyes mirrored Diluc's, serious and bojective " We know that the Holy Lyre der Himell is being held in a fatui base, which I believe is somewhere around Springvale. Can one of you use elemental sight?" Lumine raises her hand. "Good. We'll need that to find the base. I talked to Barbara and according to her, the lyre has a strong trace of the anemo element. It'll be quite easy to find it with Lumine on our side. Then, we need to infiltrate the base. Boss?" Diluc handed The people some masks and cloaks from behind the counter of the pub and took the conversation from there.
"These will help us blend in. If you get come across any lone guards blocking your way, at least knock them out. We can't afford any panic from them. Also, Jean will not be entering and will be a lookout try to draw as less attention to herself as possible. If we fail this, Jean will have to get out of there as fast as possible. If she is seen, the fatui will have a handle on us. Everyone with me?"
Jean looked bewildered and a tad disappointed, before shaking her head. "Ok then. Let's do this!" Everyone else followed her example with a cheer.
"Why do the fatui want to do an old lyre anyway?" asked Lumine.
"I believe that they want Dvalin's power for the Cryo archon. Their reason is probably because of the rivalry between our gods." Jean answered.
"I don't think that's their main objective. I think they intend to use Barbatos's connection to the wind to draw him out, or track him down like Lisa did with the ley lines and the crystals. That lyre was played by the anemo archon and may still hold traces of him or his power."
"And how do you know that?" asked Diluc.
"Umm"
"I have been thinking the same these past few days. The theft of the Holy Lyre and their intervention during the Stormterror crisis has some wired timing." Naruto's well placed response saved Venti's identity, "I just didn't tell you because I had no proper evidence."
"Well then! Let's go save Dvalin!" with that, Venti walks out, followed by the others.
*smol times kip*
Arriving at the base, Lumine, Naruto, Paimon and Diluc took the lead with their weapons in hand while Jean and Venti volunteered to keep a lookout. Diluc held his claymore, the formidable Wolf's Gravestone, a broken blade with some scratch marks it, revealing the red metal underneath. Despite it being broken, the blade still worked better than most claymores. Naruto on the other hand, held the sword, Kubikiribocho. Overall, it looked quite plain compared to Diluc's but with Naruto's skills, it was equally as dangerous.. As for Lumine, she now held a Favonius sword, given to her by non other than Jean. It was lighter and felt much better than her dull blade
Entering the hideout, they first met a cowardly guard. The guard told them to ask for the key from one of the guards further up and also said something about one of the harbingers named "Signora" already being in Mondstadt and how she would torture them, after Paimon made a comment on the wet patch on his pants that was slowly growing in size. Going further in, the gang was met with a problem. There was a console with no key and 4 places to go. They split up and found the key quite soon after Lumine beat a cicin mage and took the key from them. Heading up and elevator, they are met with a guard who looked like a tough fight. "Where did you rats scurry out from? No matter, I'll save her lady the trouble of dealing with you herself."

The agent threw a pair of flaming knives towards Diluc and Naruto, both of which were dodged, before disappearing and stalking closer to the trio. Naruto threw his sword right next to the agent who dodged with an unseen smirk. Unfortunately, this distracted him from Diluc, who came in with a flaming swing. The agent dodged it and with a burst of speed, went across the room and created 2 explosive clones. Looking at the clones, Naruto a pair of shuriken at them which caused them to explode. The agent was forced to dodge another blow from Diluc and summoned 3 blades that circled him, reminding the duo about Kaeya. Naruto took the first shot with a stab towards the head, followed by Diluc's slash to the body, both of which were dodged before a gust of anemo launched the guard back, while a blast of pyro got the agent burning before another burst of anemo made it even worse. The agent looked around and saw a jaw dropping Lumine and Paimon and went straight for them. Luckly, Lumine, who saw this, jumped into the air and summoned a tornado which sent the agent flying. The agent quickly got up but was met with the flat of wolf's gravestone hitting his face and the back of his knees meeting the back of a claymore, making him drop onto the ground with a loud thud. When he came out of the daze, he saw the blade of wolf's gravestone near his neck and the tip of Kubikiribocho being held over his face. With a scream, the agent disappeared and a voice rang out from the entrance. "If I can't kill you then Signora will! The songs bards sing of your demise will give Mondstadt nightmares for a long time!"
"Big talk for a guy who still ran off int the end! Chicken!" Paimon said with a smug tone and a high five to Naruto.
"That was a good one Paimon. Come on, let's take the lyre and get out of here." With that, Naruto picked up the lyre and passed it to Diluc.
*another smol time skip*
Back at the pub, the group was looking at the holy lyre. "So with this holy lyre, we can free Dvalin?" Jean asked hopefully.
"Not so fast. The lyre's so old that it no longer has any traces of its original anemo power left. So right now, this is just a fancy lyre." Jean's face fell with Venti's words and Naruto let out a small snicker.
"Speaking of the lyre," Naruto interrupted, "what are we gonna tell Barbara?"
"Oh?~ Are you worried about her Naruto?~" Jean asked in a mocking voice.
"Well Aunt Jean, I can't exactly date my future aunt now can I?" Naruto's swift comeback took a while to be processed, but as soon as it was, Jean and Diluc averted their gazes, faces flushed, and the former glaring at the boy who wore a victorious smirk.
"Wow. This is awkward" Paimon's comment toward Lumine almost made her release the laughs she had been holding in, though a slight giggle did slip out. "Anyway, you mean that the lyre won't work and we can't free Dvalin with it?" Venti just smiled at Paimon's question.
"Ehe~"
"EHE TE NANDAYO?" Paimon's angry cry was accompanied by an annoyed expression. "You deserve an ugly nickname for not telling us that! From now on you'll be known as Tone Deaf Bard!"
"Anyway, there is a way to replenish its power. Lumine, do you still have Dvalin's tear?" at Venti's question, Lumine brought out the tear from who knows where and Venti pulled out his own tear and held it out. "Alright, now bring it to the lyre." With that, Venti and Lumine bring the tears close to the lyre and they get absorbed into the it. "That should give it some energy. But we still need more tears."
"I might have us covered." Naruto spoke. "There's been a high amount of activity by the abyss order at 2 places in Dadaupa gorge, one in an abandoned temple, near the electro hypostais and the other at one of the 3 hillichurl tribes, or more specifically, the eclipse tribe. There's probably a third one at the thousand winds temple being guarded by a ruin guard." Naruto's words caught the attention of everyone in the room. "Here's what I propose, Lumine and Venti will go to the temple, Master Jean and Master Diluc will go to the eclipse tribe and I will go to the thousand winds temple."
"Why are you going alone?" Lumine asked with a hint of suspicion.
"Because the other locations all have a lot of enemies. And besides, this way we all have anemo powers spread around us. And just so you know, a rutin guard is a piece of cake for me." With that, the group split up to collect the tears.
*with Naruto*
Before going to the thousand winds temple, Naruto heads up to the church. He is going to meet a certain Deaconess who he knows will be throwing a tantrum about the missing lyre. When he got there, he was met with an unexpected silence. Barbara was never a silent person and to Naruto, that meant something bad may have happened.
"Just confess to the girl already brat." By now, Naruto was used to hearing Kurama's voice in his head.
'Why do you want me to confess to her anyway? You've been saying that with Barbara and Amber every time I go to see them! At least pick one!' Naruto sounded annoyed
Inside Naruto's seal, Kushina giggled while Minato looked at Kurama glaring at his wife with a sweat drop. "I told you once and I'll do it again. My sochi will marry either Noelle or Sucrose!" Kushina said cheerfully.
"And I tell you that he will go for the Deaconess or the rabbit girl!" Kurama replied. They had made a bet a year ago on who's hand Naruto would go for.
"And how do you know that?" Kushina asked the fox.
Said fox got a smug look on his face. "Well, that would be because I've known him for 16 years longer than you have"
"He got us there dear." Minato mumbled with depression lines on his face while Kurama let out a booming laugh, even as he was being tied up by Kushina's chains.
Meanwhile, Naruto had finally located the distraught idol and started walking up to her. "Barbara? You ok?" the softly spoken question snapped the girl from her stupor as she quickly turned around.
"Naruto! Do you have anything on the lyre!? Oh, sorry. How are you?" Barbara was quite hyper about the question, but then realized that she forgot to greet her best friend.
With a chuckle, Naruto, who was a few inches taller, patted her head and spoke, "Don't be concerned about prioritizing your work first. As for your question, we have some idea of its location. It will probably be back in your hands soon, good as new, within a week!" Naruto's attitude lifted Barbara's spirit.
The two talked to each other for a few more minutes before Naruto waved goodbye and left for the thousand winds temple.
Teleporting there with his rinnegan, Naruto saw the ruin guard that was "defending" the prize. 'Aether said that this guard was defective. Doesn't mean I can let my guard down though.' Naruto thought back to 2 days ago, when he spoke with his friend.
With that thought, Naruto leapt into battle with his sword/claymore. As soon as the guard noticed him, it muttered something and jumped for him. Naruto jumped out of the blast zone and struck the head with his claymore, successfully disorienting the ruin guard. A hit to the joints was in order before the idea was abandoned, courtesy of the spinning arms of the ruin guard. Once he was done getting away, Naruto twirled his weapon and sent slashes of anemo energy at the enemy, which did some damage. Turing back, the ruin guards back started to sizzle and fired off 6 missiles. Hitting them with a moving anemo wall, Naruto detonated them prematurely, before dashing through the smoke and stabbing the guard in its head.
Naruto grabbed the tear from the chest before shoving it in a bag. While it won't have an effect on him thanks to Kurama, it's always better to be safe. With the tear mow safely tucked away, Naruto starts walking back towards Mondstadt, admiring the scenery.
Meanwhile in liyue, a certain tea loving, geo user sneezed.

First fight scene! How'd it go? Was it ok? Please tell me. Sorry for the short chapter. This might be the last chapter for some days before I can get working in this again. Anyways, the reason I gave Naruto the kubikiribocho will be shown in some future chapter. I have also narrowed down the ship list to 4 girls. I understand everyone's ship choices, but I'm sticking to these 4 because 1) they are Mondstadat girls and would therefore, have a better relationship with Naruto 2) all of them seem to be in Naruto's age group (didn't do research) and 3) all of them fit would Naruto's personality quite well. If I opted for a more late game girl, it would take a long time to introduce her to the story and to develop feelings for Naruto and I'm just not at the level where I can do it well.
