Fuji sighed deeply as he checked his reflection in the mirror. Back in his apartment, he couldn't help but fixate on the marks Atobe had left on his body. His fingers traced over a particularly vivid one on his chest, memories of their night together flooding back. It was a surprising departure from his usual behavior; He never slept with other people except Tezuka but it seems that the alcohol and the resentment that Fuji was feeling on their anniversary date was enough to push him to do something as foolish as fooling around with Atobe.
"I wonder how Tezuka would react if he knew," Fuji mused aloud, a twinge of guilt coloring his voice before he quickly suppressed it. "Stop it, Shuusuke. Tezuka's moved on."
An alarm jolted him from his thoughts, reminding him of his upcoming gig. Hastily pushing aside his conflicting emotions, Fuji focused on preparing for the event. Arriving early at the hotel venue, Fuji began setting up his equipment for the business event he was covering.
As the evening unfolded, he navigated the bustling hall, capturing moments with his camera. As he framed a shot onstage, Fuji's view was suddenly obstructed. Looking up, he found Atobe, impeccably dressed and smirking mischievously.
"Atobe? What brings you here?" Fuji asked, a touch of annoyance in his tone.
Atobe chuckled. "Just business. My family's involved with this company."
Fuji rolled his eyes. "Figures. Is there anything in this country that you don't own?"
Atobe, not minding Fuji's sarcastic remark, saw a purple mark peeking out the collar of the tensai's white dress shirt and couldn't help but feel proud knowing that he was the one who left that mark. "Hmm? There seems to be a bruise on your neck, had a rough night?"
Fuji's hand immediately attempted to cover the mark that he desperately tried to hide behind his collar. "Oh, I was just bitten by a mosquito." Fuji retorted back. Atobe was taken aback by Fuji's words, "How dare he compare Ore-sama to a mosquito?"
Before Atobe could reply, a man in his sixties approached them. "Atobe-san! Nice to see you here," the man said enthusiastically as he reached out for a handshake.
Atobe composed himself as he firmly shook the other man's hand. "Nice to see you too and congratulations on the successful event."
"This wouldn't be possible of course without the support of the Atobe Corporation," the man said with a smile. He then noticed the slender man standing next to Atobe. "Oh, are you familiar with Fuji-kun here?"
The man asking is actually Kurahara-san, the CEO of the company holding the event today. He is a mild-mannered man who always took the time to get to know the people working for him as best as he can, despite being someone who has such a high position. "Fuji-kun here is actually a trusted photographer of our company. He's really good so we make it a point to hire him for our events. I highly recommend his services to you too, Atobe-san," Kurahara-san remarked with a gentle smile.
"Thank you for your words Kurahara-san but—" Before Fuji could finish his sentence, Atobe intervened. "Oh, I know that. In fact, we're more than familiar with each other," Atobe said suggestively.
Fuji's eyes widened in embarrassment as he's really not keen on letting other people know his connection with the young magnate. That's why before Kurahara-san could ask what their relationship was, he discreetly pinched the backside of Atobe's arm. Atobe visibly winced at Fuji's sudden action.
"Are you okay, Atobe-san?" The older businessman asked.
"I'm fine, it just seems like a mosquito bit me," Atobe lamely replied even though there was not a single mosquito in sight. Kurahara-san was about to reply but his secretary approached him, citing that he is needed elsewhere. Hence, he said his goodbyes to Atobe and Fuji and wished them a wonderful night.
As soon as the older man was out of earshot, Fuji turned to Atobe with a slight annoyance in his face. Fuji was not the type to be easily flustered, he was always the type of person who can keep a calm, ever-smiling face, but there's something about Atobe that seems to throw him off his usual vibe.
"What do you want Atobe? I'm working right now." Atobe could sense Fuji's annoyance hence he decided to tone down his teasing. Despite his narcissistic tendencies, he's actually perceptive to other people's feelings. "I just wanted to talk to you, in private."
"No," Fuji bluntly said as he didn't really want to continue to associate himself with Atobe due to the latter's immense influence. He's always been influential ever since their middle school days but that influence increased tenfold due to him being the young president of a very large company. And for Fuji, people like that just spell trouble.
Fuji made his way to leave but Atobe quickly grabbed his wrist. Atobe contemplated for a while but after a few seconds he sighed and said, "…Please?"
Fuji couldn't help but chuckle at Atobe, he was amused that it seems like saying a simple word as please really took a lot of willpower for him to say.
"Well, since Ore-sama begged for it, I'll humor you this time," Fuji gently pulled his wrist from Atobe, "See you after the event."
After the event, Fuji saw Atobe waiting for him by the entrance of the event hall. Before Fuji could say anything, Atobe held him by his wrist and dragged him to the elevators.
"Where are we going?"
"To the limo," Atobe said with a hint of urgency in his voice.
Once they reached the limo, Fuji noticed that Atobe's driver is not there yet. Atobe, sensing Fuji's thoughts, said "I asked my driver to just go here once I call him."
They entered the spacious limo and as soon as the doors were locked, Atobe's lips crashed into Fuji's, igniting a familiar spark. The smaller man was initially surprised at the action but he soon found himself under Atobe's spell once again and eagerly responded to the kiss.
"This isn't really what I define as talking, Atobe," Fuji said breathlessly as they separated for air.
Atobe ignored his remarks and leaned in, attempting to capture the tensai's lips once again. But before he could do so, Fuji stopped him. "Wait, Atobe, where are you going with this? I told you that it was just a one time thing. I was just drunk and stupid."
Fuji didn't know why, but there seems to be a slight hint of disappointment in the other man's eyes when he said those words but it soon vanished once Atobe regained some of his composure. "What's holding you back from having a casual relationship, Fuji? We're both young and single."
Atobe leaned in until his lips were touching Fuji's ear. "Besides, I made you forget about Tezuka while I was fucking you, right?" He said with a low voice that sent shivers down Fuji's spine.
A blush crept up on Fuji's cheeks as he was starting to grow more uncharacteristically flustered by the events, feeling more embarrassed now without the liquid courage given by alcohol. "I-I have never been in any kind of relationship besides Tezuka, I don't know how this type of relationship works. I'm afraid it may be more trouble than it's worth," Fuji said with a sigh.
Atobe snaked his arm around Fuji's waist as he continued to place small kisses on Fuji's jaw. "Why would it be trouble? We're just going to have fun, you know."
His kisses trailed down to Fuji's neck, making the latter moan a little. "I'll make you forget Tezuka and we both have fun without the stress of a normal relationship. It's a win-win situation right?"
Atobe must really be one heck of a businessman since Fuji slowly finds himself swayed by Atobe's persuasive charms and the promise of momentary escape.
"Fuji, if you're really against this, you could make more effort in resisting you know, and besides, even this part seems to agree." Atobe said as he playfully palmed Fuji's hard member through his slacks.
Nearing his sanity's limit, Fuji could only sigh. "Fine, but no feelings okay? I don't want any trouble."
A small smile formed on Atobe's lips as he pulled Fuji to sit on his lap. Atobe leaned in once again to roughly kiss Fuji, but after a few minutes, he stopped just long enough to say the words that he would soon regret:
"You have nothing to worry about, Ore-sama does not fall that easily."
