AN: Okay, so here we are with the Cyber Star Wars version of Episode III, and honestly, I was kinda hoping there'd be a bit more of the Star Wars folks in some of our showcase scenes, but I guess since the Transformers are the visiting characters in this crossover series it would make sense they'd have an abundance of moments. Anyways, I won't waste anymore time talking and just say on with the show. Cue disclaimer!
I do not own anything from any of either of the Transformers or Star Wars franchises or any other franchise mentioned in this story.
Revenge of the Sith; Age of the Decepticons
This would be the most immediate sequel to follow up the first Cyber Star Wars story, as it primarily covers the events of Revenge of the Sith. Of course, it also includes many of the deleted scenes that did not make it into the movie, along with a few snippets of other moments that were only seen in Star Wars series that had come long after the movie was released, such as moments from the final season of the Clone Wars or the first episode of The Bad Batch. More on that later.
When it starts out, Anakin and Obi-Wan are on their rescue mission to save Chancellor Palpatine from General Grievous, having just parted ways with Ahsoka, Bumblebee, Bo-Katan, and a legion of troopers lead by Captain Rex and Ironhide. This time around though, they are joined by their Autobot friends Optimus Prime and Maximos Prime Knight, as Palpatine is not the only one who was captured, but also Mistress of Flame as well, and guarding both the supreme chancellor and the head of the Cybertron High Council with General Grievous are Count Dooku and the Ascenticon leaders Overlord and General Bludgeon.
Naturally the fight would begin with a brief space battle until the four crash land on Grievous and Bludgeon's ship, eventually leading into a fight against Count Dooku and Overlord. In the end, Maximos and Anakin defeat and kill both the Sith Lord and the Cron, while Grievous and Bludgeon flee to fight another day. Upon returning to Coruscant, Optimus, Obi-Wan, Maximos, and Anakin are praised as heroes by all, and of course Anakin learns that Padmé is pregnant. This of course is where the good news starts coming to a stop, as Anakin's dreams of Padmé dying in childbirth begin, while Maximos starts having visions of Optimus and their friend Elita suffering greatly at the hands of an unknown entity.
Seeking counsel from Yoda and Alpha Trion does little to help either Jedi Knight or Prime Knight, and while Palpatine and Mistress of Flame do not have any solutions either, they do have another offer for the two: making them their personal representatives on the Jedi Council and in the Court of Primes, which would in effect elevate the two from knights to Jedi Master and True Prime. Of course things do not go as Anakin or Maximos are expecting.
"So I'm not the only one who was cheated out of something they rightly deserve," Maximos grumbled as he and Optimus take a brief walk through the streets of Iacon, having just left the Primes' Sanctum. The two had just been dismissed after meeting with the other Primes to discuss various strategies on how to assist the Republic in their shared war effort along with Maximos' appointment into the Court of Primes. While his appointment was accepted, Maximos was not granted a promotion to the rank of Prime, upsetting the Prime Knight a great deal. His previous statement on the other hand had more to do with Anakin's latest meeting with the Jedi Council than his own interactions with the Court of Primes.
"Maximos, try to see it from the Court and Jedi Council's point of view. They feel as though the Mistress and the chancellor are starting to impose far too much of their will on what is supposed to be a group that is autonomous of their control. We may be acting as a military unit, but we are still supposed to be our own entities," Optimus pointed out.
"All the same, it doesn't make sense for us to be admitted into these groups without receiving a proper promotion. It just feels like they're all going out of their way to show just how little they trust Anakin and I," Maximos complained.
Optimus did not say anything, mainly because he had a hard time disagreeing. Ever since Ahsoka and Bumblebee's departure, it did seem more and more like the rift between Anakin and the Jedi Council was growing larger by the day, and the same could be said for the rift that had been steadily growing between Maximos and the Court. He doubted the next thing he would share with his brother would help things very much.
"They do trust you, Maximos, but they also fear how close you are with Mistress of Flame, and how close Anakin is with Chancellor Palpatine. Even if they do wish to take advantage of that closeness," Optimus revealed. When Maximos turned an inquisitive optic to him, Optimus finally revealed, "The Court would like for you to report on all your dealings with Mistress of Flame going forward. The amount of power she has amassed recently has them very concerned."
"So now we are spying on our own government? And I suppose the Jedi Council are asking Anakin to do the same with Palpatine?" Maximos guessed. Optimus' silence was all the answer he needed. "What you're talking about is nothing short of treason, Optimus."
"And we are still at war, Maximos. A war that has gone on for far too long, and which has seen a great deal of power being pulled away from where it should be, consolidated into one person's hold. Can you blame anyone for being worried about whether or not said people will give up such power?" Optimus pointed out.
Maximos had a hard time arguing Optimus' point, but that did not mean he liked it.
In the time that followed, Palpatine would unveil the story of Darth Plagueis to Anakin and the unnatural powers of the Dark Side, while the Mistress of Flame would spin a great deal of doubt and discontent into Maximos. Both of the two's visions would worsen with each passing day, not assisted in the slightest by Obi-Wan and Optimus' departure to apprehend Grievous and Bludgeon, and none of them knowing of the political meetings going on behind closed doors.
Much like in many deleted scenes from Revenge of the Sith, Bail Organa, Padmé, and other like-minded senators would be meeting in secret to discuss what should be done about the power Palpatine had consolidated over the course of the Clone Wars, only in this case, they would be joined by friends from Cybertron: Cerebros and Elita One, the latter of which growing more and more concerned for both her sparkmate Optimus Prime, and their dear friend Maximos in recent days. The main reason for the two Autobots to join in being that they are also concerned with the power Mistress of Flame had gathered over the course of the Cybertron War, but sadly, no one's plans are able to follow through.
Eventually Anakin and Maximos discover Palpatine's identity as a Sith Lord, and Maximos learns that the Mistress of Flame is in fact a Herald of Unicron, Quintessa Unicronus, and while the two are tempted to arrest them both on the spot, they do not do so for each their own reasons. Of course, they do discuss the matter with one another, with Maximos expressing many doubts about taking such action that go beyond personal reasons, but in the end, Anakin does convince his Autobot ally and friend to join him in reporting their findings to the Jedi Council and Court of Primes. What follows after is about what you would probably expect.
It was a very late hour when Mace Windu and a contingent of Jedi Masters arrived at their destination, and they were not entirely surprised when they were joined seconds later by Sentinel Prime and the members of the Court who were currently on Coruscant at the moment. "Master Windu," Sentinel nodded in greeting.
"Sentinel," Mace responded, having learned a great deal of respect for the Autobot many have come to consider as his equal in the Court of Primes. "I take it you know the reason why we're here?"
"Of course. Young Skywalker has proven himself to be trustworthy at last, as has Maximos. Though it does sadden my spark this had to be the method in which they did so," Sentinel confirmed.
Mace merely nodded in agreement, and the two said nothing more as they proceeded inside. To their great fortune, they found Palpatine and Mistress of Flame together in a special chamber of the senate building that had been created shortly after Cybertron's introduction to the Republic, though from the look of things, neither leader was too concerned by the presence of all these peace keepers.
"Master Windu. Sentinel Prime. I take it Generals Grievous and Bludgeon have been destroyed then. I must say you're here sooner than expected," Palpatine greeted pleasantly.
Neither Sentinel nor Mace said anything in response, earning a curious look from the Cybertronian of the two, and she asked "Is there a problem, my friends?"
"Chancellor Palpatine, in the name of the Galactic Senate of the Republic you are under arrest," Mace declared as he and his fellow Jedi Masters all drew and ignited their lightsabers.
"Mistress of Flame, by the authority granted to me as a member of the Court of Primes and that of the High Council of Cybertron, you too are under arrest," Sentinel then added on as he and the Primes all drew their Star Sabers, Sentinels blazing to life in a brilliant gold color.
This wiped the smiles off both Palpatine and Mistress of Flame's faces. "Are you threatening us, Master Jedi?"
"The senate will decide your fates, though I'd imagine the High Council will have plenty of their own thoughts regarding yours, Mistress of Flame," Mace coolly stated in reply to Palpatine's question.
"Please. Those pathetic fools have no power over either of us and you both know it," Quintessa snarled, her voice changing slightly to reveal its true nature when she spoke.
"And even then, I am the senate," Palpatine added.
"Not yet, on either account," Sentinel promised.
In response, Palpatine slowly stepped forward and slid his own lightsaber into his hand from beneath his sleeve, and when he ignited it, the Jedi all narrowed their eyes at the sight of the red blade. "It's treason then," Palpatine decided.
"Prepare to burn…TRAITORS!" Mistress of Flame, or rather Quintessa hollered as she and Palpatine both engaged their foes, the Herald of Unicron drawing her Dark Saber after lunging towards Sentinel and downing two of the other Primes with him using only her ceremonial hammer.
As the battle continued on, Mace and Sentinel ended up being the only ones left standing in the struggle against their enemies, but eventually they backed both Palpatine and Quintessa into a corner. It was at this moment that Anakin and Maximos both arrived, igniting the final struggle for the two's souls.
Palpatine refused to give in and unleashed a torrent of Force Lightning on Windu, only to have it bounced back at him by Windu's saber, while the Quintessa faced a similar fate, though instead of lightning, hers was brought on by the power of Dark Energon. Soon the struggle came to a standstill as Palpatine and Quintessa slumped back in a weakened state, leaving Mace and Sentinel with only one thought.
"We need to end this once and for all," Sentinel determined.
"What? You can't do this, Sentinel," Maximos argued. "They need to stand trial."
"They both control the senate, the Cybertronians' High Council, and all of the courts. They're too dangerous to be left alive," Mace reminded them.
"No, Master Windu. This is not the Jedi way," Anakin tried to protest, even as Palpatine and Quintessa moaned and muttered weak pleas for mercy. Sadly, both Jedi Master nor Prime remained unmoved by either of the two. "Please, they must live!"
"We can't risk it," Sentinel insisted as he raised his saber. When he brought it down, the blade ended up being blocked by the red blade of Maximos' Star Saber, much to Sentinel's surprise. "Maximos, what are you doing?!"
Maximos merely glared at Sentinel and said one thing in a cold, almost cruel voice. "And so the mighty Primes show their true colors at last. Little more than dictators hiding behind a veil of false righteousness."
"Anakin! We need to stop Maximos," Mace shouted as he prepared to rush to Sentinel's aid, only to end up stopped as well.
"No!" Anakin shouted as he ignited his lightsaber and disarmed Windu, figuratively and literally.
As soon as Mace hollered in pain from having his arm sliced off, Sentinel dropped his guard just enough for Maximos to disarm him as well, leaving Palpatine and Quintessa with just the openings they needed to rise up and finish both for good utilizing their full power.
Realizing they had been played, Anakin and Maximos dropped to their knees as their weapons fell from their grasps. "By Primus…" Maximos gasped.
"What have we done?" Anakin bemoaned.
Quintessa and Palpatine on the other hand merely grinned at their rescuers, as the former stated, "You did what you knew to be true, Anakin. You and Maximos both."
"And in doing so, you've taken the next steps in fulfilling your destinies," Palpatine, or rather Sidious declared.
With little else to lose, both Anakin Skywalker and Maximos Prime Knight found themselves kneeling before their new masters and saying, "I pledge myself to your teachings."
"A powerful Sith you will become. Henceforth, you shall be known as Darth…Vader," Sidious declared to Anakin.
"I foresee you becoming the hero Cybertron truly needs. Do you wish to restore our kind to its rightful glory? Do you pledge yourself to the dark power of the Chaos Bringer," Quintessa asked of Maximos.
"…Yes. I do," Maximos promised.
"Good. Rise…Megatron Cron," Quintessa commanded.
The newly christened Lord of the Sith and Herald of Unicron both rose to full standing position, whatever warmth they once held now gone from their beings, as further shown by how Anakin's eyes turned from their brilliant blue to the dark gold of the Sith, and Maximos' energon colors slowly began to bleed into the deep, evil violet not unlike those of the Dark Sabers many a Herald wielded. When Sidious and Quintessa spoke from that point forward, neither Vader nor Megatron held any remorse or disagreement for what was said, even when they gave one particular command.
"Every single Jedi, including your friend, Obi-Wan Kenobi is now an enemy of the Republic."
"The age of the Primes must end, for they all are now enemies of Cybertron. Including your brother, Optimus."
It is at this moment when everything changes for the galaxy and the Transformers. While Vader and Megatron stormed the Jedi Temple and the Primes' Sanctum, Sidious activated Order 66 and Quintessa a similar command, turning Clone Troopers and many Autobot Vehicons and various other soldiers against the Jedi and the Primes. There would be a brief montage of these various actions, including the ones shown in Revenge of the Sith. Of course, it would also include scenes that were later revealed in shows that had followed after, such as the events that happened in the first episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, which would reveal that the Bad Batch's Autobot allies, a unit of Wrecker Combiners led by the Autobot Impactor, are much more on board with following the new galactic order than the Batch was. Of course, it would also show what happened with Ahsoka, Bumblebee, Rex, and Ironhide as well.
Ultimately, the survivors that end up being mainly focused on the most would be Obi-Wan, Yoda, Alpha Trion, Optimus Prime, and Optimal Prime, who all meet up with Senator Bail Organa and Senator Cerebros after the latter two escape from the chaos taking place at the two temples. Together, the three Primes and two Jedi Masters return to discover the truth and disable any recall signal to prevent the few remaining survivors from falling into a trap the clones and Vehicons had laid for them. It is at this time when Obi-Wan and Optimus learn about the fates of their brothers, and from there a plan is formed. Yoda, Alpha Trion, and Optimal Prime would face Sidious and Quintessa, while Obi-Wan and Optimus would pursue Anakin and Maximos.
During this time, Anakin and Maximos would have journeyed to Mustafar to eliminate the leaders of the Separatists and Ascenticons, though Maximos is instructed to leave some alive, as Quintessa believes some may still yet be of use. Some of these members include the likes of Shockwave, who does not hesitate to swear allegiance to the new Cybertronian order for reasons one would normally expect from Shockwave, and the Combaticons. At the same time, Palpatine would announce the beginning of the new Galactic Empire to the senate, which Bail and Padmé both bear witness to, watching as democracy dies in thunderous applause, while Quintessa announces the beginnings of a new era for Cybertron.
"Gone is the age of the Primes and their self-righteous agendas, but in order to do that, we can no longer rely on the High Council as it once was, for I fear they have been fooled too greatly by the deceptions of our so-called peacekeepers. My fellow Cybertronians, I will not allow us to be deceived like this ever again. I promise you, we will be the ones to reign supreme over all, as is our right, and any who try to lead us down a false path again will be swiftly dealt with. We shall become an empire that sees deceptions for what they are, and conquers it before it can claim us. This is the beginning of the Decepticon Empire!"
Shortly after this announcement, Yoda, Alpha Trion, and Optimal would make their move, revealing their survival in quite the dramatic fashion.
Sidious and Quintessa were both enjoying the high they were on from all their plans succeeding when they heard several loud booms coming from just down the hallway. A second later, the last boom was followed by the door being blown open, and out from the smoke stepped Optimal Prime, who only just retracted his shoulder cannons, Alpha Trion, and Master Yoda. When the guards saw the three intruders they immediately moved to try and stop them, only for Yoda to knock them out with a simple Force Push, while Alpha Trion released an energy net that would keep them pinned down.
"I hear a new apprentice you have Emperor, or should I call you Darth Sidious?" Yoda questioned once the Sith Lord had turned to face them.
"Master Yoda. You survived," Sidious sneered.
"Surprised?" Yoda almost joked. Almost, but not quite. He was really not in a great mood after having felt the deaths so many of his fellow Jedi, masters, knights, and padawans through the Force.
"And look, you brought the old librarian and the animal who plays at being a Prime," Quintessa mocked upon seeing Alpha Trion and Optimal.
That served to rile up Optimal a bit as he growled, "That's Maximal to you, Herald of Unicron."
"And neither of you will be walking away from what you've done, to the Jedi or to countless other Transformers," Alpha Trion promised.
Sidious merely growled in response. "It would seem that arrogance blinds your friends as much as it does you, Master Yoda. Now you will experience the full power of the Dark Side."
All at once, Sidious unleashed a powerful torrent of Force Lightning on all three heroic warriors, sending them flying across the room. Although in the case of Alpha Trion and Optimal, it was through the wall and into the next room as well, prompting Quintessa to fly after them in an attempt to give chase. Thankfully both Primes were able to recover some of their bearings and managed to quickly activate their over-shields to protect themselves from the blast of Dark Energon that Quintessa fired upon them.
"The Age of Primus' disciples is over, fools. At last you have lost this long, generation spanning war," Quintessa boasted.
"Not yet we haven't. There will always be a chance for even a small spark to light our darkest hour, and our sparks haven't been extinguished yet," Alpha Trion promised as he stood tall and drew his Star Saber, with Optimal doing the same soon after.
Despite their best efforts, Yoda, Alpha Trion, and Optimal would not be able to defeat Sidious or Quintessa, but they would manage to escape thanks to some small assistance from Bail Organa and Cerebros. Sadly, that would be one of the few good fortunes they would find as the galaxy was drowned in darkness. We all know what happened when Padmé and Obi-Wan showed up on Mustafar, and sadly, the presence of the Transformers would do little to change anything. Well, Maximos would see Obi-Wan first and immediately attempt to kill the Jedi Master by firing his fusion cannon at Padmé's ship, but thankfully, a last minute intervention by Optimus helped everyone to escape unharmed. Even though they do exchange some brief words with Optimus trying to bring his brother back to the light, it is all for naught, as Megatron has fully taken over, and the two are soon battling it out like they had in so many other lifetimes. Only this time around, there would be a twist.
As the two former brothers continued to clash, Star Saber crashing against Star Saber, battle axe colliding with mace, and all while Mustafar's volcanic nature went wild around them, Elita-One suddenly appeared between them and shouted, "STOP!"
To better make sure she was heard when she landed between them, Elita made sure to whip out her EM Lance, neutralizing the two 'Bots' weapons temporarily. Seeing his Saber and mace rendered inoperable, Megatron growled in frustration "This does not concern you, Elita. Stand aside, or perish with your precious Optimus."
"I will not," Elita insisted, much to Megatron's surprise and Optimus' horror. "You two are brothers. You trained together. You fought together. You both desire a better Cybertron than the one we had before the war. Don't let Quintessa tear you apart."
"Quintessa did nothing more than open my optics to the truth. Only a fool would see it and refuse to believe it," Megatron argued. "The Primes have fallen into the very darkness they were once sworn to fight against, and now the only thing that can be trusted is power. Power to control everything, to reign supreme over all, and to ensure no one is able to destroy everything we have."
"Not like this. Not with the power of the Chaos Bringer," Elita snapped as she slowly approached Megatron. "This is not how the Autobots sole things. We believe in freedom for all, and that means we must accept the risks that comes with all being free. Sure, some people will make the wrong choices, but it should still be their choice to make. What you're doing is taking away their right to choose. You know this, Maximos."
Megatron regarded Elita closely in silence for several, tense moments, until he grinned with a dark chuckle and said, "Maybe the Autobot way was the wrong one."
"Maximos," Elita started to say, only to suddenly be backhanded to the side by the new Cron.
"Maximos is dead, Elita-One. I am the dominator. I am the destroyer. I am MEGATRON!" Megatron roared and he unleashed blast after blast of dark energon onto Elita-One with each sentence, making her cry out in pain and agony several times over. The last blast would likely have killed her had someone not taken the blast for her.
"NO!" Optimus cried out just seconds before he had jumped in between Elita and Megatron, taking the brunt of the Dark Energon blast his former brother had unleashed. Since the last blast had been so much more powerful than the ones before it, the effect it had on Optimus was much more substantial. Several parts of his once brilliant red and blue armor had been darkened into a deep black, while the Autobot insignia on one of his shoulders had been altered into a new appearance, the energon colors behind it being changed from red to dark violet.
Seeing the change his last blast had caused in Optimus made Megatron pause to glance between Optimus and his palm before a sinister grin crossed his face. "How interesting," Megatron muttered with dark glee. "Shall we see what continued exposure to such a powerful blast of Dark Energon would do to you, Optimus?"
Even though she could barely stand, Elita still managed to pull herself up enough just in time to see Megatron preparing another blast, one that likely would have killed Optimus or something much worse judging by how he had been altered by that first blast. So without even thinking, Elita summoned every ounce of strength she had and threw herself between Megatron and Optimus, taking the blast in full. Sadly, it would be the last thing Elita-One would ever do because when she next hit the ground her spark had gone completely dark.
"Elita!" Optimus cried out in horror, gently cradling his beloved's lifeless shell even as the dark parts of his altered state slowly switched between growing weaker and stronger.
"And so my visions come to pass, though not in the way I had expected. They were not warning me of a danger I needed to prevent; they were a warning of your inevitable betrayal," Megatron commented, never realizing the kind of monster he had just unleashed upon himself. Not until he attempted to finish Optimus with his newly reactivated Star Saber, only for Optimus to catch the blade before it could hit him.
Looking up at his foe, Optimus could only glare angrily as he slowly rose up again and then promised, "Megatron, you will pay…FOR EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE!"
In a rare twist of fate, when their battle resumed, Optimus Prime would not be battling Megatron to the finish in an attempt to stop a great evil. He would be doing so out of a desire for revenge. His anger a driving force for every blow he struck, Optimus would be unprepared for the moment when Megatron retaliated at last, having let the enraged Prime use up all his strength in his mad barrage. He then proceeded to continue his previous experiment, unleashing a powerful torrent of Dark Energon onto Optimus until there was no longer any hint of red or blue in Optimus' appearance, his energon colors had been changed to the same evil violet Megatron's now were, and his optics changed from blue to a sinister red. It was this sight that Obi-Wan would lay eyes upon after finishing his duel with Anakin and going to see if Optimus required assistance, and for one of the few times in his life, Obi-Wan Kenobi felt truly afraid as the darkened Prime let out a primal growl before collapsing to the ground.
Knowing he could do nothing to help Optimus, Obi-Wan would flee with Padmé, Artoo, and Threepio to a distant planet far from Mustafar where he would rendezvous with Yoda, Bail, Alpha Trion, Optimal, and Cerebros, none of them knowing Palpatine had gone to Mustafar to retrieve Anakin and then proceed to complete his apprentice's transformation into Darth Vader. Nor would they know that when Quintessa arrived to bring Megatron back to Cybertron with her, she would be persuaded into bringing Optimus' body along as well. An easy argument for Megatron to win when he allowed his master to lay eyes on how Optimus had been changed by his Dark Energon attacks. Thus, another valiant hero would fall to the Decepticons, and though he would not be a Cron like Megatron or Quintessa, he would most certainly become one of the most dangerous Decepticons that ever lived, and his name would soon be spoken in fearful whispers all across the galaxy: Nemesis Prime.
Luke and Leia are both born of course and we all know what happens to their mother afterwards. When the children are separated, Bail ends up returning to Alderaan with both Leia and Cerebros, the latter thinking that it would be far enough away from any conflicts for a good long time, while Optimal joins Obi-Wan on Tatooine, and much like the Jedi Master, Optimal chooses a new name to better hide himself. The name he selects is one he decides to use in honor of one of the friends they believed to have been lost, while also bearing just enough similarities to remind him of his days as Prime. He is now Optimus Primal.
Finally, Yoda travels to Dagobah with Alpha Trion, both feeling that they need to disappear into exile for the time being after having failed to destroy Sidious and Quintessa, and thus, the galaxy is thrust into a dark time. A time that is ruled by the Empire and the Sith and an age of the new Decepticon Regime. Thankfully, it would not be a time that would last, for as Alpha Trion would tell his friends before they all went their separate ways…
"I know times are dark now, but so long as one spark of light remains, we will see a better tomorrow with the sunrise. For now, I must keep the Matrix of Leadership with me, for it may be the only thing guaranteed to end the reign of Quintessa Unicronus and the Decepticons. Perhaps it is a long shot, but I truly believe the day will come when an Autobot will rise up to prove himself worthy, and use the power of the Matrix to light our darkest hour. Until that day, my friends. 'Til all are one."
AN: And there ya go. Now, I know I probably made it pretty obvious that Mistress of Flame was going to be Quintessa, and yes, the fact Quintessa is an individual instead of a planet is something I got from Transformers the Last Knight. I didn't really agree with it, but with the right bit of work and execution, I feel like it could just as easily work. Also, the whole Court of Primes thing...yeah, that was honestly the best I could come up with. I wanted the Primes to have their own version of the Jedi Council/Order, but it was a little hard coming up with anything that was either different enough to not be a clear cut-and-paste thing or just worked well enough. Whoever picks this up, if you can think of something better, by all means go for it.
Also yes, the Dark Sabers are like the Sith lightsabers. As if that wasn't already clear. Like I had said in the main body of this, I would have included various stuff that didn't quite make it into the movie, and maybe a scene or two from the book as well. Of course, most of that is already in the deleted scenes, but the point still stands. And since we've seen various events that took place during Order 66 unfold in all these other series from the final season of Clone Wars to the first episodes of The Bad Batch, it should be no surprise that I would have wanted to include those moments in here for that purpose. Of course, you could make the ones Ahsoka and Bumblebee went through happen in the first Cyber Star Wars story as well, but I feel like showing the Liberation of Mandalore in this rendition of Revenge of the Sith would help it fit in a little more.
Oh, and just to clarify, the Wrecker team I was referring to consists of the Autobots who combine to form Ruination. If you don't know who that is, you can just look it up on the Transformers wiki. Look for the G1 version though, not the one from RID 2001.
I'll also admit, some of these scenes showcased were really more of an abridged version of the scenes in question, but I wanted to really emphasize the points that needed to be in those scenes. Things like what we saw of the confrontation between the Jedi Masters, the Primes, and Sidious and Quintessa, and Anakin and Megatron's first descent into darkness as they became Darth Vader and Megatron. Hope I got all of that across well enough for everyone's liking. Also, unlike Vader, there would be no light left in Megatron after he gives in to the darkness, so you can totally go all the way with how the final battle between Megatron and Optimus Prime goes down.
Anakin: Um excuse me. How exactly are they going to do that when Optimus Prime is apparently supposed to end up being turned as well?
AN: Not turned. Forced. Yeah, Megatron's new dark powers would somehow allow him to turn Optimus into his evil double/alter ego Nemesis Prime. Had to have someone on the Transformers side of this crossover who could be turned back to the light, and who better than a brainwashed/poisoned Optimus Prime. You'll see just what kind of things that leads into in the next showcase.
Ahsoka: Aka the Rebels Era of the series, right?
AN: Exactly. Well, it would certainly start there at least. Also, yes, Optimal Prime would join Obi-Wan on Tatooine and assume his identity as Optimus Primal. Let me guess, some of you thought he would go to Dagobah with Yoda or something, right? Wrong! That's gonna be Alpha Trion's thing. And as for the other Maximals...well, you might find where they all end up after the rise of the Empire and Decepticons very interesting.
Obi-Wan: Question: how could Sidious possibly use Force Lightning to blast two Transformers through a wall? That seems a little odd.
AN: Dude, it's Force Lightning, which is an extension of the Force, and we've seen people do much crazier things than that with the basic Force abilities. Is it really that unbelievable for Sidious to be able to blast Alpha Trion and Optimal through a wall with Force Lightning?
Obi-Wan:...Good point.
AN: Now, I'll admit that Maximos may regret his attack on Sentinel at first, but as things go on, those regrets would easily die out, thus giving way to the Megatron we all know and love to hate. And certainly nothing like the Megatron of some other Transformers series *cough* Earthspark Megatron *cough*.
Ahoska: What's wrong with Earthspark?
AN: Don't even get me started on how much that series is absolute garbage, Ahsoka. At least not until after I give a little preview for what everyone should expect next time...
We dive into what happens between Episodes Three and Four with the adventures of Star Wars Rebels. See how the Ghost crew interacts with their own Autobot allies, as they struggle to steadily build up the Rebel Alliance and aid the Autobots in putting a stop to the Decepticons. From their encounter with Ahsoka and Bumblebee, to a face-off with the likes of Vader and Nemesis Prime, leading into Sabine's return to her family taking a bestial turn, and even the moment when Lothal is finally liberated from the Empire, there's no shortage of action taking place next chapter as we bear witness to the rise of the Rebel Autobots.
Please read and review, and may the Force be with you, till all are one!
Now, Ahsoka, pull up a chair, and let me tell you all about how Transformers Earthspark completely ruins so many great things, characters and otherwise in the Transformers franchise...
