Fairy Tail was in quite the bleak spot, they were 2 points behind and the Divine Visionaries managed to defeat two of their powerhouses, those being Natsu and Gray. And the said Dragon Slayer had woken up when he was about to be escorted away from the arena, and he wasn't happy…
"This is bullshit!" Natsu yelled
"I never thought someone with an Evil Eye could ever become a Divine Visionary…" Abyss said
"Well, she seems to hide it all the time, so my guess is that no one knows about it." Abel said
"So, you lost too, flame brain?" Gray's voice was heard approaching
They looked to the side and saw a bandaged up Gray walking up to where they were along with Juvia, it seems like he had recovered enough to walk again
"I only lost because she caught me by surprise with her weird freezing eye! If we had a rematch now, I'd win!" Natsu said while pointing his thumb at himself "I'm going to get stronger! So strong that I'll never lose again!"
"Yeah!" Happy cheered for his best friend
"Instead of talking about how you'll never lose in the future, let's focus on not losing in the present." Lance told him "We still have to choose who will go now. We can forget the straws and actually start going seriously against these guys. No more games."

Rayne was walking around the halls of the arena, trying to find Sophina who had still to return to the side of the other visionaries. He managed to find her after a long time searching, she was sitting with her back to a wall while various "Heal" words were on her body to heal her wounds
"Sophina." Rayne called her, making her open one of her eyes and look at him
"Oh, Rayne. Not the sight you expected of me, I presume." Sophina said while sighing
"So you did get hurt." Rayne said
"I did indeed. And I would have lost if I didn't use that strategy in the end." Sophina said while slowly getting up "Those guys are powerful. Some of them even manage to compare to the likes of us."
Rayne saw her struggling to stand so he walked up to her and offered him his shoulder, letting her hold onto him so she could walk back to the group
"Thank you." Sophina thanked him
"No problem." Rayne said, walking along with her back to the other visionaries
Sophina looked at Rayne for a moment before noticing his expression, remembering how he looked when he was called to be a part of their team on this
"Are you sure you can do this? Fight that guild, I mean." Sophina asked but Rayne remained silent "I mean, you did seem close to them. But you didn't really know them for that long."
Rayne didn't answer her, Sophina then sighed, giving up on trying to talk to him, Rayne was a very hard person to read. Even for a bookworm like her.

"Ladies and Gentlemen!" An yelled out into her wand mic "Now it's time for the third round! And I hope you all are ready, because this tournament is still only getting started!"
Fairy Tail got tense while thinking about on who to send against the next guy, he seemed to be able to use some kind of zombie hand magic so they had to be careful
"Who can we send?" Levy pondered
"We don't know much about that guy so I'm not sure we can have a counter pick for him." Finn said while scratching his head
"We could try to overwhelm him with sheer power, and for that, our best choice would be Erza." Lucy said while thinking "But she's also one of our strongest fighters, we can't risk sending her too early against one of them that isn't a heavy hitter…"
"It looks like you guys can't decide…" Dot began, making them all look at him "But let me tell y'all what is needed for this. You all need the main character."
They all looked at him before blinking twice, slowly realizing what he meant by that
"You're not saying that you should be the one that's sent for this, are you?" Lance said
"Of course I am! I trained a lot in these past three days!" Dot yelled
"Are you sure you can do this, Dot?'' Makarov asked
"I'm a hundred percent sure! I got some new tricks that will send them for quite the spin!" Dot smirked while crossing his arms
The guild looked at each other, they didn't have another choice than to trust Dot on this one, and maybe his explosions could burn down whatever zombie thing that guy tries to pull out
"Alright then. We will put our faith in you, Dot." Makarov nodded
"Hell yeah! I promise to not disappoint!" Dot yelled and began to walk away
"Just remember, if you get cocky you will lose." Lance warned him
"Heh, nah, I'll win." Dot told him "After all, I'm the main character!"
With the Divine Visionaries, Renatus was stretching a little when Sophina and Rayne walked in
"You sure took ya sweet ass time." Renatus said
"My apologies, I ended up getting lost while I was reading." Sophina explained
"So Tsurara won?" Rayne asked
"Yes, she did. Quite impressive how she managed to beat the dragon slayer." Kaldo said
"Well, I'll be going for my turn then. I got excited watching the other fights so I'm raring to go and test these guys out!" Renatus said while walking away
"Excited as always. So unprofessional." Sophina sighed
"Ladies and Gentleme! Be prepared for the beginning of the third round! For the team of the Divine Visionaries! We have the leader of the Cemetery Administration of the Magic Bureau! The Immortal Cane! The man who makes even the dead do his bidding! So powerful that not even death is able to keep him down!" An yelled as the gates opened "Enter, RENATUS REVOL!"
The gates opened and in entered Renatus, wearing a white long sleeved shirt with a dark purple blazer on top, a purple tie and a chain with a cross at the end on his neck, long jean pants and brown shoes, he had dark skin and scars on his face, his lavender hair looking messy as his purple eyes looked excited to meet his opponent, on his cheek he had two lines that formed a cross. The crowd from Mash's world cheered for him! Wanting Renatus to beat the hell of whoever appeared next
"And on the team of Fairy Tail! We have a traitor from our own world! He has an explosive personality! A fiery passion! And ladies, if you're interested, he is single! He hates pretty boys! And is the main character!" An yelled while reading a script, the gates opened as she finished "Enter, DOT BARRET!"
the crowd from Mash's world booed that heretic traitor for going against his own people, while his sister, who was watching everything, crossed her arms while looking tense, she was nervous about what might happen to her little brother
"Please be safe…" Malta prayed
"Alright, let's begin! And remember, the rules are that the first one to be knocked out loses, and no killing is allowed!" An yelled
"Actually, let him fight to kill." Renatus told her
"Huh!?" An was shocked
"Yeah, don't worry about it. It will be fun." Renatus said while smirking "What do ya say, Mister Wahlberg!?"
Wahlberg looked at him and already knew why he had made such a choice, sighing before nodding
"I'll allow it." Wahlberg said
"Sweet!" Renatus seemed even more excited now
"Uh… O-okay! Let's begin in 3!" An began the countdown
"What exactly are you planning? You letting me just hit to kill? That sounds like some insane talk." Dot asked
"Heh, what can I say. I'm just very excited to finally get to fight here. And who knows, after this I may even be able to have a rematch with some of ya." Renatus said while stretching a little
"2!"
"You a fight freak or something?" Dot asked while pulling out his wand
"Nah, nothing like that. I just really like my job." Renatus began and also pulled out his wand
"1!"
"It's very rewarding, y'know?" Renatus began while his smile turned into an insane one "People don't even complain about murder if who you kill is seen as the bad guy!"
"Fight!"
As soon as the fight started, Renatus charged at Dot, running at him without a care in the world while pointing his wand at him, his wand being in the shape of a human finger
"And I thought Divine Visionaries would be smarter than to just charge head first!" Dot yelled as he summoned a hundred fireballs from his wand "Di-I mean, Pass out a hundred times! Machinegun Explomb!"
Dot then pointed his wand at him, having all of the fireballs fly at him and explode on contact, a massive smokescreen was created while even An was blown away by the attack
"KYAAAAAH!"
Dot jumped back, getting out of the smoke while smirking, thinking he managed to get him now
"Wow, first hit goes to Dot!" Love yelled
"And a massive one too!" Natsu cheered
But their happiness didn't last long, because as the smoke began to settle they saw Renatus with his arm fallen off and his head having half of it blown off, making Dot yelp in fear, but what was weirder was when what looked like tendons extended out of the damaged parts and began to reconstruct themselves
"What the!?" Dot looked incredibly creeped out
"What? Did you think the Immortal Cane wouldn't actually be immortal?" Renatus laughed
"That guy is immortal!? How the hell do you win against him!?" Lucy yelled
"That regeneration…" Erza mumbled, Kagura had the same kind of regeneration at Tower of Heaven
"And it seems those guys understood why Renatus let him attack with the intent to kill, he can't die." Kaldo smiled
"Don't be so shocked, kid. Tell ya what, your attacks actually stung a little." Renatus said, the burns on his body taking a little longer to heal "But y'know, it's stuff like that which makes life worth living!"
Renatus then charged at Dot, seeming to start actually taking this a little serious, and hitting Dot with a knee to the stomach, making him yell and pain and be thrown back before he pointed his wand at him
"Undeath!" Renatus yelled and so a massive zombie hand sprung from the ground and grabbed Dot
The hand squeezed him and threw him at the ground, making Dot scream in pain, Renatus cackled at that. Dot slammed one hand on the ground and caused an explosion to happen, sending him flying up before a giant zombie hand sprouted from the ground and punched him down, right towards Renatus who kicked him in the stomach while he few and made him crash against the giant hand, making it explode into pieces
"Honestly, I don't get why they'd send a single liner against me. Your magic power is pathetic so you don't even have a reason to try here." Renatus said while shrugging "But at least this is kinda fun, it's a good stretch."
"He is having fun beating up Dot…" Gray frowned
"These guys seem more like hitmen than anything." Wakaba said while smoking a cigarette
"That zombie guy is going to regret playing with his food soon enough." Alzack said while crossing his arms

"What do you mean I haven't mastered it yet!?" Dot asked
"You only trained with it for three days, the best you can do with it now are basic spells, like using Re-quip with a magic gun, and use explosion magic with it." Bisca explained
Dot had managed to learn Gun Magic, but thanks to the small amount of time he had to train with it he couldn't do anything crazy with it yet
"But, you said no one in your world has magic that's similar to this?" Alzack asked
"That's right."
"Well, then I think the basic will be enough to throw the for quite the loop." Alzack smirked making Dot nod
"I see! Thanks man, you and your girlfriend are lifesavers! Let me tell ya!" Dot said, making the two gun mages blush
"O-oh, we aren't-" Bisca began
"Alright! It's time to go! See y'all later!" Dot yelled and dashed away, leaving the two gunslingers alone and embarrassed

From the smoke that rose up from Dot hitting the wall, Renatus could hear something weird in there, until he saw a bullet coming right at him and hitting him straight in the shoulder
"What the?" Renatus began before the bullet exploded, separating his arm from the rest of his body, sending them in different directions
Everyone gasped in shock when that happened, well, everyone except Bisca and Alzack who smirked when they saw that. From the smoke Dot walked out, with a magic pistol in his hand, having used Gun Re-quip to get that in his hand
"Explosive Shot." Dot said while blowing some smoke out of his pistol
Renatus slowly got up, his arm not regenerating immediately but still reforming a little
"A magic gun? I thought those never saw use since all magic users can use their wands for spells." Renatus said
"Yeah, that's why almost no one here knows how to deal with something like this, it's like I have two wands now!" Dot said while smiling
Renatus' hand regenerated completely, he laughed a little before cracking his fingers. It looked like the real fight started now
"Okay then, maybe you aren't as bad as I first thought." Renatus said before raising his wand "Undeath Sting."
A zombie hand appeared right besides Dot, having incredibly sharp claws and trying to stab him, but Dot managed to dodge it by causing explosions to happen below his feet, blasting him forward
"Explomb!" Dot yelled and blasted a fireball at Renatus
The Immortal Cane dodged the attack and created more zombie hands around the battlefield, one of them rising up right in front of Dot and slashing him, making Dot bleed before Renatus jumped up and slashed him in the face, Dot hissed in pain before he blasted another Explosive Shot at Renatus, hitting him in the chest and causing an explosion that sent him away, making a massive hole in his chest that immediately began to regenerate
"Damm… this brat's explosions burn my flesh, it slows down my regeneration by quite a bit. Well, I am not going fully serious yet so it's not a real issue, but it sure is annoying." Renatus said while smiling, if they had sent someone like Natsu against him then he might have had some trouble
"Grenade Launcher!" Dot yelled and blasted a massive fireball at Renatus
Renatus widened his eyes and rose up his wand, using Undeath Wall to create two zombie hands that encased him to protect him from the attack
The massive fireball then split into a rain of fireballs, crating a massive field of explosions that even managed to make some holes in the zombie hands
"Heat Seeking Missile!" Dot yelled and the explosions then combined into one singular fireball
The ball then flew to the barrier, going straight through the hole and hitting Renatus straight in the face, causing a massive explosion that even destroyed his barrier from the inside
"I figured it out! Since my explosions slow down his regeneration, then if I just keep on attacking I can actually win! He'll see what happens when you underestimate me!" Dot smirked, his mark on his forehead glowing, thanks to the events on Tower of Heaven and his training of three days, he had managed to learn how to activate the Ira Kreuz at will, however it still only gives him more of a magic boost through great emotions
As the smoke began to lower, various magic circles began to appear around Renatus, making him widen his eyes when he saw he was completely surrounded by that
"Explomb Bomb!" Dot yelled, causing a massive explosion that caused even the people who were watching the fight to be blown back a little
Everyone widened their eyes, he may actually manage to win this, even if Renatus was immortal there's no way he can resist an assault like this
"What do you think of that, you pretty boy piece of shit!" Dot yelled while giving Renatus the middle finger
But what he didn't expect was to hear a laughter coming from the smoke, making him widen his eyes before he noticed a chain of blood connecting the slash Renatus made on his cheek earlier to something in the smoke, he felt an immense pressure coming from there before he realized what had happened
"That was good, kid. Very good!" Renatus said, the smoke coming down revealing that his entire left part of his body was gone and nothing more than his bones remained, but he was still regenerating, his flesh slowly coming back, having already reformed his eye "If I haven't used my Summon I would have been toast. You caught me by surprise there…"
"Your… Summon?" Dot widened his eyes
"Yeah… Thanatos, the God of Death." Renatus said, revealing the skeletal scythe on his hand before the giant entity above him was revealed, it looked like a skeletal demon, having a demonic smile on its face and a singular eye, it's horns painting up while his lower body was completely made of blood, massive claw like hands hit the ground while it's shoulders seemed to be made of human skulls, it's ribcage being open and having Dot's blood connected to its insides "And also, Undeath Thirds: Thanatos Inclination."
"A thirds!?" Lance and Finn widened their eyes in shock
"Don't you think that's too much? A summon and a thirds in a fight like this?" Rayne questioned
"It is too dangerous to do so, he might end up killing them." Sophina said
"Do not worry. His Thirds is not being used to its fullest potential in this fight. It will not kill his opponent." Orter explained, not taking his eyes off the fight
Renatus laughed as he began to regenerate faster, making Dot shake at the sight of such power, it completely overshadowed him, he didn't have a single chance now… But, he couldn't give up now, he had to fight until the bitter end, this was for Mash after all, his friend who got angry for him, who is always there for him, the friend who actually defends him just like how he did in the forest… If he can't do the same, then what kind of friend is he?
"..." Dot looked down and then took a deep breath, his Ira Kreuz burning brighter and brother as his magic power rose
Renatus was still healing, so he could beat him if he managed to overpower his healing and knock him out before whatever the effect of his Thirds activated, he then decided to give his all for this final attack, pointing his arm at him
"Explomb Secondth: Meteor Minigun!" Dot yelled and his arm had a minigun around it, beginning to spin as he began to blast various fireballs at Renatus
Thanatos saw that and put an arm in front of the Immortal Cane, protecting him from that onslaught before Dot charged at him, giving out a massive warcry while doing so, everyone watching had their eyes widened in shock. Dot jumped over that arm and blasted Renatus, managing to hit him and cause several explosions on him, but Renatus reacted fast and used his scythe to stab Dot through the back and pull him closer
"Good luck trying to attack now! If you do, you'll also-" but Renatus couldn't finish
Dot began to blast him at point blank, making Renatus widen his eyes as the explosions began to overwhelm even his regeneration, and even began to hurt Dot since he was so close to them
"What the hell!? Is this kid insane!? He's going to end up killing himself if he keeps this up! God dammit, I can't get rid of him like this, I can't regenerate my body to have enough strength to push him away!" Renatus thought while panicking
But thankfully, his Thirds was active, Thanatos let out a blood curdling scream before a massive explosion happened thanks to Dot's power. A massive smokescreen covered the entire arena, making everyone cover their faces thanks to the impact of the explosion
"Dot!" Finn and Lemon yelled
"..." Mash frowned while looking at that, being worried for his friend
"Renatus!" Sophina yelled
Orter for the first time actually looked worried, Renatus had played around too much and that might have cost them this win
As the smoke began to disappear they saw Dot standing up and Renatus scattered around in pieces, everyone widened their eyes thinking that the Divine Visionaries got their first lost, until they noticed that Thanatos was still there and Dot wasn't moving. The explosion mage fell on the ground, completely unconscious as Thanatos let out a roar and disappeared
"What…?" Everyone was confused while watching
Malta put her hands in front of her mouth while sweating, praying to God that her little brother was okay. An slowly walked around the arena, seeing Renatus slowly regenerating but he didn't seem to be conscious in her eyes, since he wasn't even able to speak or continue to fight in this state, so she took a deep breath and yelled
"AND IT'S A DRAW!"
Everyone gaped in shock when they heard that as the medics came and took Dot away while Renatus was still regenerating, one of his eyes being wide open on the ground as he looked at the explosion mage being taken away
"That kid actually almost beat me… If I had taken him seriously from the beginning I could have won this." Renatus thought "Heh… Those guys are fun… That's the type of stuff that makes life worth living…"

Dot was laying down on the medical bed before he ended up waking up, seeing his friends around him
"He's waking up!" Lemon said
"Hey." Mash waved at him "Are you okay now?"
"Y-yeah, I'm up." Dot said while feeling his entire body in pain "What happened?"
"The fight ended up in a draw. No side got a point." Finn explained
"Ah, so I didn't win…" Dot sighed disappointed
"Hey, don't act like that. You were amazing!" Love said while putting her hands on her hips "You managed to counter that guy without issue! Honestly, it was super cool!"
Dot looked at his friends and saw how they actually agreed with Love, even if he didn't win he did give the divine visionaries quite the scare, which was already something amazing to do. Dot then looked at Lance, looking down, expecting him to say something about how he lost when he had a perfect win lined up…
"You weren't bad out there." Lance said, making Dot lift his head and look at him "Good job."
Dot smiled at him, while Lance simply looked away with an unreadable expression, before Lemon's Cerberus licked Dot, dirtying his entire face with saliva

After Renatus' fight, Rayne was walking around the halls of the arena to try and gather his thoughts. It was his turn next and he couldn't let his emotions drive him during this, it was his duty so he had to do this. Around the corner, two other people ended up bumping into him, Elfman and Finn, the two taking a free steps back while Rayne just looked at them
"Oh… Hi, Rayne…" Finn said
Rayne didn't respond. Elfman gave him and angry glare
"You know, your little brother got really hurt when you left to help the guys trying to kill his friend. That was not manly at all." Elfman said while staring Rayne down
"Elfman…" Finn gritted his teeth at the muscular mage trying to confront Rayne
"So?" Rayne looked up at Elfman
"What?" Elfman's eye twitched
"It's just my duty as a divine visionary, no reason for you to be so hurt about it." Rayne shrugged
"And what about your duty as a member of the guild!?" Elfman snapped at him "What about a duty to your brother!?"
"I was never a member of your stupid guild. I only helped out because I didn't have any other options and needed somewhere to stay and survive." Rayne explained making Elfman growl "And about my brother…"
Rayne looked at Finn making him gulp
"At least you're not at Easton anymore. You were too weak to even be there in the first place. Now, have fun in that pathetic place you call a guild, it's where you deserve to be." Rayne said making Finn take a step back and making Elfman widen his eyes
"You…" Elfman was trying his best not to do something stupid
"Now get out of my sight. And if it makes you feel any better, you don't need to see me as your brother anymore. Because I won't be seeing you as that either." And that was the final nail in the coffin, Finn's life completely shattered when Rayne said that, the last family he had three him aside just like that
Elfman then snapped, trying to punch Rayne only for him to dodge the attack with a sidestep
"That's it! You are a disgrace of an older brother! In the next round, you will be facing me! And I'll show you what a real man does to people like you." Elfman yelled but Rayne didn't respond, he simply turned around and went away
"Do as you wish."
Elfman growled at Rayne and then looked at Finn who seemed to still be processing what was going on, he sighed and put a hand on his shoulder, trying to comfort the cowardly mage before walking away with him
Rayne didn't feel proud about what he said, he really didn't, but Finn didn't need him in his life, he had all of those people with him, and since his duty made it so he went against even his only family… Maybe Finn would be better without him in his life, Fairy Tail seemed to have awakened his potential and taken him in even if he isn't the strongest, even if it isn't the safe life he wanted for his little brother, he seemed to be happy with them…
"I can see what you are doing." a female voice snapped Rayne off his thoughts
Rayner stopped and looked to the side, seeing Mira walking right past him and stopping right in front of him, looking the sword cane right in his face
"What?" Rayne asked
"I know what you are trying to do." Mira said again "You actually do love your little brother a lot, but you are being too harsh with him."
"And what would you know?" Rayne asked
"I know a lot more than you think. You can't just hide your feelings inside. It will end up hurting a lot." Mira told him
Rayne just gave her a look, his expression was hard to read but so was her's
"I can see where you are coming from, but I'm not taking advice from the likes of you." Rayne said
"And what does that mean, exactly?" Mira asked
"You are hiding quite a lot inside, so you don't have any room to talk." Rayne told her, making Mira widen her eyes "I heard about you on the guild, ex S Class wizard that quit after a tragedy. Quite sad, I must say. I have a tip for you, keep the beast you call brother under control so he doesn't do anything stupid like that again."
Rayne was referring to challenging him, someone who was on a whole different level and could end him in an instant, but Mira understood it differently. Gritting her teeth she slapped Rayne across the face, surprising the sword cane
"I know you don't mean anything of what you are saying right now, but I will not allow you to talk like that about my siblings." Mira said, giving Rayne a terrifying look "You better come to your senses soon."
Mira said as she walked away, leaving Rayne stunned for a few more moments before he sighed and walk to the arena, his fight was going to start soon

The fight was close to starting, the gates opening as the two fighters entered, it seemed like the gates opened before the announcement, leaving An confused
"Can Elfman handle this?" Lance asked
"I'm not sure, but he was incredibly insistent on being the one who went to fight Rayne." Levy said
"We must trust his decision. Elfman seemed incredibly irritated when he asked to be the one fighting him, so there's probably something more about this." Makarov stated
Finn was looking at the arena, his mind running various thoughts in quick succession. Mash noticed how his friend was feeling and put a hand on his shoulder, making Finn look at him
"It will be okay." Mash reassured him
"Yeah." Lucy was next and put a hand on his shoulder "No need to worry."
"Thanks guys…" Finn sighed
Mira looked at Finn and got and idea, smiling while going back to focus on the arena
"Well, on the side of the-" An began
"No need for that. Just skip the introductions and let's go straight to the fight." Rayne said, seeming to be quite impatient about this
"E-eh!? But-" An tried to argue but one look from Rayne shut her up "Yes, sir! So in 3!"
Rayne lifted his wand
"2!"
Elfman cracked his knuckles
"1!"
An looked at both a little worried, normally there was some banter while she did the countdown
"FIGHT!" An yelled and ran away
Elfman was the one who delivered the first attack, using his Take Over magic to turn his arm into a metal one
"Beast Arm: Iron Bull!" Elfman yelled and tried to punch Rayne
But the Sword cane reacted fast, summoning a sword in front of himself that protected him from the attack, Rayne then kicked the sword away, pushing Elfman with it before the take over mage grabbed the giant sword and threw it to the side
"So you're not starting with your full take over?" Rayne said, he thought that was a very dumb decision
"I won't need my Full Body Take Over to take you down! Like a real man!" Elfman yelled before charging at Rayne
Rayne sighed and raised his arm up
"So I'll respond in kind. I shall not use more than three percent of my power." Rayne said as various swords appeared around him, spinning so the hilts would be facing Elfman "3% Partisan."
The swords fly towards Elfman, who manages to dodge some of them but is forced to block even more using his steel arm, being pushed back by the attacks
"You'll need way more than that! A real man would never lose against a monster who abandons his own family!" Elfman yelled at Rayne, surprisingly, one of Rayne's eyebrows twitched at that
"Tsk, call yourself a real man as many times as you want, you are nothing but a fool." Rayne stated as even more swords were blasted against Elfman who was doing his best to block them using his metal arm "You really shouldn't let your emotions take control of your actions like that."
Finn frowned at how his brother was acting, that wasn't like him… Yes, Rayne was a very hard person to read and he was always very distant, but him acting like that was something he never saw before
Mira put a hand on Finn's head, making him turn to look at her, the woman smiled at him
"I have an idea on how to bring your brother back to his senses." Mira said making Finn widen his eyes
At the fight, Elfman was starting to get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of swords being thrown against him, he didn't have any other options but to use his Full-Body Take Over! The Strauss gritted his teeth and began to glow, his body growing larger as bull horns appeared on his head, his body getting bulkier, his white spiky hair now extending over his entire back. The transformation finished and he was now a massive metallic bullman
"Take Over Beast Soul: Iron Bull!" Elfman yelled as the pressure of his transformation blew Rayne's swords away. Elfman smirked while blowing some flames from his nose
Rayne raised one eyebrow when he saw Elfman's transformation
"I thought you wouldn't use your full take over."
"I just underestimated your three percent, nothing more. I'll still beat you down!" Elfman yelled before blowing flames through his nose, making Rayne dodge to the side
Rayne got confused as to why a metal bull could blow fire but couldn't think about it much, because Elfman had charged at him at full speed with his horns, making Rayne create a wall of swords to stop him, which worked
"Rapid Partisan." Rayne said and began to rapid fire swords at Elfman from the sides of the wall, pushing him back more and more
"Not even a Full-Body Take Over can keep up with him!?" Elfman widened his eyes
Rayne jumped and got on top of his sword wall, looking down at Elfman
"Partisan Secondth: Swords of Paralyzing Light." Rayne pointed his wand down, making various light swords fall upon Elfman, they didn't hurt but they did make him unable to move
"What!?"
"You lost. You let yourself get carried away with your anger over me and ended up getting into a fight you cannot win." Rayne said as he got down from his wall
"You talk as if emotions are something bad! Emotions are what drive people to be what they are! To become better! We as people are stronger together, stronger with our emotions! You are an idiot to think throwing all of that away is something smart!" Elfman yelled at him
"Be quiet." Rayne simply said, making a massive sword in front of him "Large Partisan."
Rayne blasted his massive sword at Elfman, looking to finally be done with this, only for Elfman to start glowing and then change places with Finn, that made Rayne widen his eyes and move his wand to the side, making the sword change direction and miss Finn, hitting the wall. The pressure of the attack pushed Finn back as he fell on the ground and rolled back before he slowly got up
"What is this…!?" Rayne said with a mixture of confusion and anger

"Are you sure?" Finn asked the older Strauss
"I am. Rayne actually cares a lot about you, he is just very bad at showing it. He actually thinks you'll be better without him around anymore so he wants you to hate him." Mira explained it to him
"I find that hard to believe…" Finn said
"Well, then my plan will show it to you. When Rayne goes to hit Elfman again, change places with him and see him avoid hitting you." Mira said
Finn didn't look too sure about this plan, it was too risky but it also was most likely the only way for Rayne to stop acting like that…
"Trust me." Mira gave him a wink, making Finn sigh
"Alright… Let's do this."

Everyone gaped in shock at what the hell had just happened, while Finn looked at the wall and saw the sword there, letting out a small smile
"So Mira was right…" Finn said
"What the!?" Elfman yelled as he returned to his normal form "What is Finn doing!?"
"He just jumped in the middle of the fight!" Natsu yelled
"It was more like a teleport!" Happy said
Various of the expectators who saw that began to complain too, saying how that was against the rules. Mira smiled seeing that she was indeed right, to others Rayne may look hard to read, but she can read him like an open book
Rayne frowned at Finn, thinking what he was doing was beyond stupid
"What do you think you're doing?" For the first time in ever, Finn had saw Rayne actually angry
"I'm fighting my own battles." Finn told his brother
Everyone was actually taken aback by how Finn was acting now, he normally is scared of the dangerous stuff but right now he was staring down an incredibly dangerous situation and actually showing a massive amount of determination
"Well, I'll be damned…" Gajeel was actually surprised that the little coward was actually managing to stand up and fight
Rayne didn't seem happy about it though, he looked at Wahlberg and saw that he had still to protest about this
"Aren't you going to stop this? It's a clear violation of the rules since an audience member is interfering in the fight." Rayne said
Wahlberg thought a little and then looked at Rayne
"Well, there wasn't an announcement about who you would be fighting, was there? So really, your opponent could be anyone." Wahlberg told him, having a more goofy tone to his voice
Rayne glared at Wahlberg, surprising the elder a little, he never expected that Rayne of all people would give him a look like that
"I'd allow it." Orter said while fixing his glasses
"Come again?" Sophina asked in disbelief
"Rayne. Finish this quickly." Orter said. He wanted to test if Rayne could go through with this or if he would let his emotions take priority over common sense
"So, what do you say?" Wahlberg asked Rayne
"...tsk." Rayne simply scoffed, it seemed like he would have to go along with this
Rayne glared at Finn who tensed up
"3% Partisan." Rayne summoned three swords with their hilts pointing at Finn, blasting them at him
Finn widened his eyes, but when the swords got too close, he changed places with one of them, managing to dodge the swords thanks to that. Before he felt a stinging pain on his back, falling on the ground as one of the swords had come back and hit him
"Give up. It would be the smarter choice." Rayne told him
"Sorry, but Mash's life is in danger here… He always protected me and helped me… So I can't give up here…" Finn said as he slowly got up again "Besides, for someone who doesn't see me as their brother anymore, you seem oddly worried."
Rayne was silent and just summoned more swords, blasting them at Finn who used his Changeas to change places with and try to dodge them, only for one of them to be way faster than the others and hit him in the stomach, making him fall to the ground… Only for Finn to get up again. Rayne frowned and tried to use his swords to take him down again, and again, and again, but Finn just kept getting up
"Why…?" Rayne thought as another sword hit Finn's leg and made him fall, only for him to get back up again "He's not even attacking…"
The mages of Fairy Tail looked angrily at Rayne for what he was doing to his little brother, even Mira was starting to have some veins pop out of her hand from how hard she was balling a fist
"Please… just stay down!" Rayne thought while looking at Finn on the ground… only for him to get up again
"Rayne… Ever since our parents passed away… You always kept your distance… You always ignored my existence… When I was young I thought that was just your form of tough love…" Finn said as he panted "But… There's no love there… You never actually showed your love to me… Was it the position as a Divine Visionary…? Was it the death of our parents…? What was it…? What made you hate me…?"
Rayne didn't say anything, he simply attacked once again, with Finn managing to dodge the swords before one of them hit him right in the head, throwing Finn back and into a wall, Rayne widened his eyes at what he just did, seeing him fall on the ground, finally passed out
"Finn!" Lucy and Lemon yelled
Mash balled his hand into a fist while looking at that. Rayne looked at his brother on the ground for a small moment before turning away and starting to walk out of the arena
"Announce the winner." Rayne told An who got out of her hiding spot
"O-okay!" An said while gulping "And the winner is-"
She couldn't finish because she ended up swallowing a butterfly, making her cough, while Rayne turned around, sensing a massive increase in magical power coming from where Finn was.
"What?" Rayner widened his eyes
He saw a massive robbed entity flying above Finn, having massive butterfly wings and a halo above its head. The butterflies landing on Finn and healing him completely of all the damage he took up until now, some butterflies landed on Sophina and healed her too, same thing with Gray, Natsu, and even Dot at the medical room. And, once again, Finn got up
"Impossible…" Rayne was in disbelief when he saw Finn's face
Finn had awakened his second line, looking at the butterflies around him a little confused but when he saw the massive entity he realized what had happened
"A healing magic!?" Juvia said in shock
"I thought that kind of magic was extinct!" Levy said in shock
"It's so beautiful!" Lucy said
"This spell… It reminds me of Fairy Law… What is this?" Makarov said with his eyes widened
"Look, look! Finn has a second line on his face!" Love yelled
"Amazing…" Abel widened his eyes
"He awakened his second line, impressive." Lance said
"So cool!" Lemon yelled and her Cerberus and Puffy agreed
Mash smiled while looking at his friend, feeling very proud at how cool he looked right now
"Incredible…" Mira smiled while looking at that, she felt a warm feeling on her chest just like she did when Elfman managed to take control of his Take Over magic… It was like seeing her sister fighting once again. She had to hold back not to cry again
"So manly!" Elfman couldn't hold back and yelled out, tears running down his face
Finn stared down his brother who was still speechless at what he was seeing, the entity also looked at Rayne, the sword cane could feel that the entity was looking at him like a disappointed mother somehow
"I'm not as strong as any of my friends, I'm not as brave, I'm not as fast, I'm not as versed in magic. But even so, I can still stay alongside them and support them." Finn told his brother and began to walk up to him
Rayne pointed his wand at Finn and began to blast a massive amount of swords at Finn but no matter how many times he was hit, he was always immediately healed and continued to walk up to him, making the sword cane widen his eyes
"I'm going to save Mash, no matter what you do. He is my friend. The first friend I made at Easton and the one who was always there for me." Finn stated, looking right into Rayne's eyes "Because unlike you, I'm not pathetic enough to turn my back against my friends and family!"
Orter frowned when he heard that and fixed his glasses
"Rayner! Stop holding back and finish this already." Orter ordered
Rayne gave Orter a quick glare and jumped back, looking at Finn before taking a deep breath
"I Summon. Ares, The God of War." Rayne said as his wand transformed into its black trident form and he gained his third line
The immense power emanated from the sword cane but Finn still didn't back down, Rayne had an unreadable expression on his face before he pointed his trident towards Finn
"Black Partisan."
A massive amount of black magic could be felt from above the clouds, a massive black blade falling from the skies towards Finn, as the sword moved to hit Finn everything started to move in slow motion for Rayne, his thoughts racing quickly on his head
"You don't need to see me as your brother anymore."
"You never actually showed your love to me"
"We as people are stronger together! With our emotions! You're an idiot for throwing all of that away!"
"You really shouldn't let your emotions take control of your actions like that."
"You better come to your senses soon."
"I'm not taking any advice from the likes of you."
Remembering the things he said before and what people said to him, he didn't know what he was supposed to do now… but then he remembered one last thing
"What made you hate me…?"
Rayne thought of that singular sentence, as he sensed himself being teleported to a different place, he saw some small butterflies flying past him when he appeared in his new position. He already knew what had happened, he closed his eyes
"Sorry about this, guys. I promise I'll accept the punishment for doing this but… I can't do it…" Rayne thought before the Black Partisan hit it's mark
A massive explosion happened causing a massive smokescreen to rise up, everyone looked at the arena with a tense expression, and as the smoke settled they saw Rayne on the ground where Finn was before, and Finn standing where Rayne once was. He had used his magic to change places with him last minute
"I… I did it!?" Finn widened his eyes in shock
"He did it!?" Sophina and Orter said in shock
An finally managed to cough out that butterfly and fell to her knees, breathing heavily as she got some air back into her lungs, seeing the current status of the fight and seeing Rayne on the ground and Finn still standing
"The winner… is Finn Ames… Point for Fairy Tail!" An said into her mike
It took a small moment for everyone to actually process what had just happened, but then the entire team of Fairy Tail began to cheer, clapping for Finn getting their first victory
"SO MANLY!" Elfman cried out while flexing
"Let's go, Finn!" Lemon yelled
"You were amazing!" Natsu yelled
"Good job." Lance smiled
"You were great, Finn! Thank you so much!" Lucy yelled out for him
Even Dot was cheering him on at his medical bed. And even Tom, at home, cheered for Finn's victory
Mash saw everyone cheering for his friend and smiled, everyone finally saw what he saw Finn as the whole time, an amazing person
"Heh…" Mira let out a laugh as she cleaned some tears off her eyes, starting to clap for Finn's victory. He reminded her too much of her own sister, she bets that if she was still here she would have been great friends with him "Good job, Finn!"
Finn looked at his friends and smiled, seeing them all cheering for him, the entity smiled while looking at Finn. Orter frowned at all of this, Rayne could have easily dodged that attack, he threw the match on purpose…
"Damn you, Rayne…" Orter fixed his glasses
Most of Mashle's world were in an outrage at one of the heretics winning against the divine visionaries, they even started to think that Rayne was a fraud and didn't deserve to be in the divine Visionaries. Wahlberg simply smiled at Rayne's actions, he knew that man was a good choice for divine visionary since he first recommended him
Rayne smiled while on the ground, this time he was the fool who let his emotions get the better of him… But maybe, that wasn't such a bad thing after all… a butterfly then landed on top of Rayne's head as now Fairy Tail was only one point behind the divine visionaries
and so Fairy Tail gets their first win! And it's from one of their weakest members!
Renatus used his thirds here, in the manga we don't get told what it does so in here it drains the blood of the target. I didn't put it in the chapter just in case some new information comes out with the announcement of season 3, because it's coming at some moment.
I had this fun idea, Hell's Greatest Dad from Hazbin Hotel but its Rayne and Mira singing to Finn with Elfman appearing in the end.
