Chapter 16 Sitting on a tree

In the morning Kazuma was in a special room he made that has a drawing of Mai there on a altar, it has a few candles and he puts a few flowers there in front of the picture.
"Mai."he then kisses his two fingers before placing them on pictures mouth.
Even after so many times and how many girls he met he still misses her, she was his first love and the girl that he could say he wanted to spend time with her for the rest of his life but that option was taken away by them, he remembers those crazy girls that killed her making him mad.
"Mai, I hope were you are right now I hope you can forgive me for not saving you."Kazuma said.
He then leaves the room and sees Ankh waiting for him."So did you talk to your girlfriend?"
"Yes."he said.
"You humans amaze me, you still keep talking to her even after she passed away."Ankh said.
"It's not something that we can just forget, a first love is the most important one and Mai was special."Kazuma said.
"What about your brother?"Ankh asked.
"Shoto, he met a girl long time but she vanished."Kazuma said but then he holds his head."Wait, did she?"
Meanwhile
Shoto was outside around the woods and he then sees a treehouse, he got surprised and said:"What that doing there?"he then goes to the ladder and starts to climb up.
"I need to see Shoto."Kazuma runs off to see him.
Shoto reaches to the door and looks around the building."This thing looks familiar."he then remembers a girl with dark skin with two ponytails."Wait a minute."he then goes inside and the area then changed to be a more larger and normal room like that of an american house.
He looks around and goes outside again to see it was the same, then he goes in and said:"How did this happen?"
"Who are you?"he looks to the sides to see a boy and girl.
"I'm Shoto."he said.
"Shoto!"they got surprised.
The girl then hugs him and said:"you came back."
"Who are you?"Shoto asked confused.
"You don't remember us, I'm Wexley Olson."the boy said-
"And I'm Lucy Fujimoto."the girl said.
Shoto blinks but then he gasps."You two, but how are you so young?"
They laugh and Wexley said:"That's because the tree keeps us young, you would been the same if you stayed."
Then he sees more and he smiled."Ahmed, Rachel."
They smiled and they made a group hug."Shoto!"
Back at the city
Kazuma was running around the city and he sees Yukari and Kurome."Girls."they looked at him surprised."Where is Shoto?"
"He went to the woods."Kurome said and Kazuma runs towards it surprising them.
Back at the pocket dimension
Shoto was smiling sitting on the ground with his friends."I can't belive your all here."
"Yeah, it's so good that you came back to see us."Lucy said.
"But wheres Kazuma?"Ahmed asked.
"He's at the other side, but we're now in this alternate version of China."Shoto said.
"Really, what are you both doing there?"Rachel asked.
"To stop a war and make peace, big bro is going to be a king."Shoto said making them cheer.
"But it's cool you'll be staying."Wexley said.
"What?"Shoto said.
"You'll be staying after Kazuma took you away."Wexley said.
"Why, I have friends back home too."Shoto said making Wexley mad."But I can visit."
"That's good."Lucy said.
"No, you want to grow up and become a stupid adult!"Wexley got up and got angry.
"What's wrong with you?"Shoto said.
"Wexley's been angry since a lot of us wants to leave this place and go back home but he and some others want us to stay."Ahmed said.
"We would be stupid leaving this place."Wexley said.
"What's going on?"they then saw a group that works with Wexley but to Shot's shock it was the same group of kids he met in the past that worked with K.
"You!"Shoto said.
"Wait, that's Shoto, traitor!"they then charged at him but Shoto got up and jumps to the side avoiding them as they fell to the floor together.
"I don't care what you call me, you think I should be happy that K would have used me as a scapegoat."Shoto said.
"If it wasn't because of your brother we could have had big bro K with us."one of them said.
"Oh really."they looked at the door and saw Kazuma staring at them."Because I did a good deed that day."
"Kazuma!"the kids that still liked him smiled.
"You!"the kid that Kazuma punched run up to him and starts to punch at him legs but that did nothing and Kazuma just frowns.
Kazuma picked him up and hangs him up on a hook making him scream."Hey put me down!"
"Silence, little brat."Kazuma said and he goes up to Shoto."Shoto, how did you find the treehouse?"
"It was just there?"Kazuma said.
"Kazuma."Lucy said making him look at her and he chuckles.
"Lucy, well that's a face I remember very well, still the same little leader."he patted her head.
"Hey."she pouted."I wanted you to come with me outside so we can be together."
"I know but we had a big age difference back then and now even more."he said.
"Kazuma did you come back to help us leave this place?"Ahmed asked.
"Sure, but what happened to Aria?"Kazuma asked.
"We don't know, she vanished."Ahmed said.
"We don't want to leave."the other kids said.
"SHUT UP!"Kazuma said scaring them."You play make believe all you want but this is all just fantasy realm well it's time for yout to wake up!"
"That's the same words you said when you left."Rachel said.
Flashback
Kazuma as a 12 year and Shoto 7 years old were at the door and Wexley was shouting at them."Why do you want to even leave?!"
"Simple because you want to play make believe but this is all just fantasy realm well it's time for yout to wake up!"he looks at the door."If this tree really gives us all we want then I wish for me and my brother to go back home, outside in the real world!"it then starts to open making Kazuma pull it back while it tries to close back."Let's go Shoto!"
Shoto looks at him and looks back."Jacquelyn, stay safe."he then goes to the door but Wexley holds him.
"No, you stay!"he said but Shoto headbuts him mkaing Wexley to let go and Shoto runs to the door making him and his brother leave this place.
Aria the leader saw that and was surprised.
Flashback ends
"That gave us hope that we could leave, you guys are now old enough to leave this area now even."Lucy said.
"Yeah, I guess you tried to do it?"Kazuma said.
"Yes, but Wexley and the others own wishes counter ours making us stuck."Rachel said.
"I see."Kazuma then goes outside to be on a rope bridge to see the other treehouses for the other kids, they were pitchers of water and fruit for them to eat, Kazuma looks at the tree itself and and said:"We need to go inside the source since Jacquelyn might be inside."
"Jacquelyn."Shoto said.
Flashback
When Shoto goes to sleep inside the tree he then dreams of the girl he remebered and she always comes to play with him.
"Let's play forever Shoto."Jacquelyn said.
"Yeah."he smiled and they played together.
"Let's also get married and be happy."she said.
"Okay."he said not really sure what marriage is at the time.
Flashback ends
"We gotta find her."Shoto said.
"I know."Kazuma said and they went through the bridge, they went towards another that went down but then two of the street kids cut the rope making it drop Shoto and Kazuma off the tree and they landed on a wasteland with dead trees.
"Hey!"Shoto looks up.
"Why did you do that?!"Lucy said.
"They were trying to help us."Ahmed said.
"No, we will stay in this world, forever!"Wexley said.
Then the tree reacted and it starts to morph shocking them, then it becomes a giant monster roaring and walking away.
"Oh no!"Kazuma said.
"Kazuma!"he then sees Aria inside a hole in the tree.
"Aria!"he said.
"You need to stop it and help me find Jacquelyn, it's the only way to stop this."she said.
He nodded and put on his driver, he inserts the medals and scans them."henshin."
TAKA, TORA, BATTA TA-TO-BA! TATOBA, TA-TO-BA!
He transforms into Kamen Rider OOO, the kids got surprised and Shoto puts on his, he inserts a medal."henshin."he then rotates the knob.
POP!
Then he transforms into Kamen Rider Birth, they then charged at the tree making it roar and punch the ground sending them back.
"The summons."OOO said and they brought out they're stones to summon Gate Guardian, Dark Chimera and Ancient Gear Golem, then they went up to they're summons with OOO on top of Gate Guardian while Birth on Golem, they went to attack the tree.
The tree blocks a punch from Golem while Chimera slashes at it, then Guardian punches the Tree making it roar before pushing them back, it then shoots wood spears making Gate Guardian make a water shield to block it.
"We are going to need a lot more help."Birth said.
OOO looks around and sees a stone appear in front of him, he grabs it before he remembers a drawing he did as a kid of a giant volcano monster."Come Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis."he throws it making a beam hit the ground then the giant came in front of the tree stopping it's attacks, the Tree attacks it but Atlandis blocks a punch making it punch the tree instead, then it powers up and many stones go around OOO."now this is more like it."he then summons many rock monsters.
Then at the ground came Barrel Rock, Ancient Jar, Destroyer Golem. Disolverock, Giant Soldier of Stone, Haniwa, Rock Ogre Grotto number 1, Stone Armadiller, Spherous lady, Statues of Easter Island, Blockman, Muka Muka, Golem Sentry, Rockstone warrior, Mystical Sand and Stone D.
All the rocks attacked with the giant ones punching the tree, then the others climbed on top of it making them punches the sides making a big hole appear where Aria is, she then jumps on top of Mytical Sands broom making her fly away.
"Shoto!"OOO said and he nodded.
Birth jumps inside the hole and inserts two medals.
DRILL ARM! CATEPILLAR LEGS! CUTTER WINGS!
He then charges up with his visor lighting up, he then puts the dril foward with the jets pushing him foward, he drills inside the tree and then sees Jacquelyn inside some kind of strange aura prison."Jacquelyn!"he then touches her.
She opens her eyes to see a white area and saw a young Shoto looking at her."Shoto."she smiled.
"Jackie, let's go back."he said making her surprised.
"But the outside world is mean and my parents."she said.
"No one will harm you anymore, no more nightmares."he smiled and puts a hand foward.
She looks at it and takes it.
Outside OOO was standing on Gate Guardian but then he sees a flash of light making him coer his eyes, then he opens them to see he was in the white void while he was back in his normal form and he looks up to see a light and he sees Mai in spirit form and she was in front of him.
"Mai."he got surprised.
"Yes Kazuma, it's me."she smiled.
"You're here."he said.
"I came to see you again, this world allows the persons deepest desires to be true and you wanted to see me again."she said.
"I'm so sorry, those four, I should have stopped them."he said but she hugs him.
"It's not your fault, you couldn't have known back then."she then looks at him."I didn't regreat being with you since you are my love."she then kisses him before they gave one last hug together.
She then starts to go back while he was holding her hand, then they let go he stares at her as she goes back.
"Goodbye Kazuma, I don't have anymore nightmares now."She gave him one last smile.
"Goodbye Mai."he said before he was back to the tree world.
He then sees Birth jump out of the hole with Jacquelyn and Dark Chimera caught him, then the tree starts to fall with all the kids being grabbed by the rock monsters being set down on the floor.
They watch as it fall down and a door appeared and opens it to reveal the exit, Jacquelyn wakes up to see Birth and she said:"Shoto."he nodded making her smile.
"Jacquelyn!"Aria then hugs her making both hug each other.
"It's time for you to back."OOO said.
"What about you?"Ahmed asked and they saw a portal open.
"We have a different home to go back."OOO said.
They waved each other goodbye before they went back to they're homes, OOO and Birth are back to China and went back to the palace, they both had closure of they're loved ones they wanted and they hope they will be alright.
Note:Heres the Valentine's day special of OOO with both brothers meeting the past and having closure, the tree house is SCP-3082 and the kids appart of it in the story outside of the street kids.
