Chapter 47 Shoto's day

Keifa was sitting on her bed with her stomach grown to be bigger than ever, she is getting closer to the time she would give birth.
"Soon my baby will be born soon." She rubs her bump.
Kazuma came inside. "How are you feeling?"
"Fine." She looks away with a small blush.
He sits next to her and holds her hand. "You might hate me, but I don't, I just want to be there for you both."
"Is it because you didn't have a family when you were alone?" She asked.
"Part of that, I always had to look after my brother. Now even more after finding out what happened to my real parents." Kazuma said.
She looks at him and was curious.
"My foster parents, the more I think about it, weren't that good, they went on they're own and left me at the house, the times I thought they were taking care of me, it was just my true mother doing that instead when she sneaks inside to play with me." He said.
Kazuma thinks about his past when he was a kid and when Shoto was a baby too.
"So I really want to be with that child Keifa." He said.
She looks down. "Fine, just for the child."
He then hugs her surprising Keifa. "Thank you."
She smiles a big and hugs him back.
"What?!" They saw Shuuran and Shunran with the latter her jaw drop at the scene.
"What are you two doing here?!" Keifa said.
"We were just walking and Shunran opened the door." Shuuran said.
"No I didn't! It was opened." She denied it.
"No, I closed it." Kazuma said.
"He did, and how dare you come inside." Keifa said.
"Well why are you hugging him! I thought you only loved lady Karin?!" Shunran said.
"I do! It's just he's being nice since he wants to be a good father to my child." Keifa looks to the other side.
"Well let's go. Excuse us." Shuuran takes her sister as she grunts.
"Well that was something." Kazuma said.
"I hate it when they poke inside my room. They always try to tease me." She pouts.
"Don't let them get to you, mother said you should be calm when you have the child, that would be bad for both of your health." Kazuma said.
"I try, but they just won't let me." She said.
"Here let me help with anything you need." He said and she blushes.
With Shoto
He was walking down the streets with Yukari and Kurome as they looked around.
"Well everything is normal." Shoto said.
They saw Ruru and Kii at a store before they saw them.
"Hey Shoto, Yukari and Kurome!" Kii waves at them.
"Oh hello." Yukari waves back.
They went up to the group and Ruru said: "Hey Shoto what are you all doing?"
"Oh we were just walking around town to check for anything." Shoto said.
"Hey wanna go with us." Kii said.
"What are you doing?" Kurome asked.
"Ruru is going to cook some delicious food." Kii said.
Kurome has stars in her eyes making Yukari sigh seeing that.
"Come on Shoto, Ruru was really wanting-" Kii got her mouth covered by Ruru who was blushing.
"Excuse us!" Ruru takes her behind a building as they got confused.
"What was that?" Ruru glares at Kii.
"I thought you wanted him to be with you?" Kii said.
"I do, but you almost made it like I was wanting him in deseperation, if he heard you say something weird he would think i'm weird." Ruru said.
"Oh sorry, but I wanted to hang out with Shoto more, he's the only one that's our age." Kii said.
"I know, but we have competition with Yukari and Kurome as they're the closes to him." Ruru said.
The trio just kept waiting and they wonder what the two are talking.
"Should we go see them?" Kurome asked.
"No, that would be rude if we spy in they're conversation." Yukari said.
"They're not our enemies, so we have nothing to worry about." Shoto said.
Kurome looks at the two and wonders if they have something special planned for Shoto.
Sometimes old habits die hard, as she can't stop herself from knowing what they're talking about.
The two came back and Ruru said: "I have many new recipies I wanted to show off with all of you. Since we're all great friends."
"Oh cool. It will be fun. Are the others coming?" Shoto asked.
"Not yet, I wanted to surprise them." Ruru said.
"Oh okay." He said.
"Excuse me." They saw a woman go up to them.
She has ash gray hair and turquoise eyes, wearing a maid like dress that Shoto got surprised but theres been places like that here, which still surprised him, and she wears red glasses.
"Who are you?" Shoto asked.
"My name is Nia, I was traveling around the area and was hopping to see if this was the home of lord OOO." She said.
"Yeah it is, welcome to our kingdom." Shoto said.
"Thank you. I was really excited to be here." She runs foward.
"Well she seems nice." Yukari said.
Kurome narrows her eyes since theres something off about her, she can't put her finger on it, but it seems like she's not normal.
Nia looks at the palace and smiles. "Finally, I got here after so long, I get to meet you, like how I picked. OOO I hope to meet your real name and see you in person."
She only saw him in his armor form and never in his true form so she doesn't know who he really is, but the man that showed her to this path, told her he's a kind ruler that wants to protect his people.
"I hope you can be the one that can win my heart." She puts her hands together. "Where we will be connected."
She sighs remembering her dreams of finding her true partner and she gets even more excited.
Kazuma sneezes and Keifa said: "What's wrong?"
"I don't know, it seems someone is thinking about me." He said.
"Huh? Who could it be." She said.
Note: Heres a chapter with Shoto and Kazuma interacting more with the girls of Karin's faction, also a certain girl has finally arrived and will meet Kazuma soon.
