A.N. Bleach/Harry Potter. My first fic. Told through the eyes of Toma Black

Pairing: OC/Rangiku

Toma Black was the son of Cassiopeia Black and The Soul King.

Background Summary: Knowing the fate that awaits the Soul Society in the form of his son Ywach. The Soul King searched for a vessel to birth him a second son. He found Cassiopeia who agreed to birth him a son. As he had no physical body he used his powers to impregnate Cassiopeia. After his birth she raised him in secret and taught him everything she knew. In Toma's dreams his father taught him about the soul society and about his soulmate Rangiku. He was also told he was immortal.

Toma learned how to be an animagus when he was 16 and it took the form of a dire wolf that could speak the human tongue. Toma would sometimes share dreams with Rangiku who was told by Toma that they were soulmates. When he was 22 his mother passed away and Voldemort had been defeated by baby Harry. Toma was 36 years old when Voldemort was killed for good.

Information: Toma's birth and status was told to Genryusai Yamamoto, Retsu Unohana, Rangiku Matsumoto and Squad Zero. He has all the abilities of a Soul Reaper but without the Zanpakuto. He is massively powerful as a wizard and needs no wand. He is the soulmate of Rangiku Matsumoto and is always by her side unless he has something he needs to do. He can speak in his wolf form and still use magic.

Timeline: He will make an appearance before Isshin leaves the Soul Society. And then he will be there through most of the arcs.

Soul Reapers have soulmates in this story. But not everyone knows who their soulmate is. Hisana was Byakuya's, Toma is Rangiku's, Momo is Toshiro's but they don't know that currently, Rukia is Renji's and Orihime is Ichigo's. But this story focuses on Toma and Rangiku only while going through the events before and during Bleach.

Warnings: I'm changing things that I feel should be changed. Characters will be ooc but that's because I feel like making them that way. I am terrible at fight scenes but I'll do my best. Intimate moments will be built up to and then a small time skip afterwards. I don't think I'll be doing any smut writings here. Maybe a bit of foreplay and teasing and yes the fic will be rated M.

- Toma Black -

The war had been brutal in every way. So much death and destruction. Hogwarts would take awhile to repair. People would heal in time but they would never forget. Me I was about to embark on a new path with my soulmate. I had helped in the war effort as much as I could. I stepped into the shadows in my animagus form. Relishing in the feeling of being free again. According to my father I will be able to settle into his world long before my elder brother makes his move. Long enough to change the fates of those who would have perished in the eventual war.

I flicked my tail and formed a Senkaimon then walked into the light. The gateway that would lead me to my new home. That would lead me to my mate. I treasured the dreams we shared over the years. Getting to know Rangiku had been interesting and amusing. My mate was such a lush and all around fun woman. But she was also very capable in battle when she got serious. I learned that she was a lieutenant of the tenth division. And that her captain was just as laid back as her. Oh how I can't wait to finally be at her side. With one last look behind me I watched the gates close. I was finally going home where I belong.

Soul Society - The Outer Forests

The destination was never set in stone so when I arrived it was in another forest. It was time to let my mate know I was here. She had not only seen what I looked like in this form. But had heard its call in our dreams. I hope that she made sure I wasn't attacked but no one can predict how others will react. With a rumbling growl I shifted my paws and let out a power laced howl. Calling to Rangiku and letting others know a new player has entered the game. I was just glad I was as tall as a horse and in my human form I was 6'2". My fur actually almost matched my actual hair. It being a mix of black and white. While I had red eyes in this form and blue eyes in my human form.

While I waited for someone to find me I explored the forest and found a nice sized cave. I chose to wait in the safety of the cave rather than outside. I couldn't be killed but in this form my instincts were more animal based than human. I didn't have to wait long though because a hell butterfly found me. As it settled on my nose I realized this one was a tracker. I would have heard a message if it wasn't one. My ears perked as I felt someone getting closer to the cave. They were rushing which meant it could be trouble or it could be Rangiku.

Rising to my paws I left the cave and sat at the entrance. The butterfly had moved to settle on my head. It kind of made me look ridiculous I imagined but it wasn't bothering me. "Toma!" It was her sweet voice but it was laced with excitement and desperation. We hadn't physically been around one another so I know how she felt. I wanted her in my arms so badly and to guard her every step. My wolf itched sink its teeth into her enemies. And to rip apart anyone that makes her cry.

"Omph!" I was tackled by an orange blur before I could think of shifting. My fur getting soaked by the tears my mate shed. It hurt seeing her tears but I knew these were happy tears. "Kitten I am happy to finally be here. But I have to know if you came alone." I used my muzzle to nudge her away from me. I then stood up and shook the dirt from my fur. "Was the tackle really necessary?" I knew I was pouting but I was hoping to get a laugh out of her.

"I sort of ran ahead of my captain in my rush to get to you." Her blush was cute but the power heading closer made me lift my lips in a silent snarl. Her fingers instantly ran through my fur making me lower my head for her. "Easy Toma its just Captain Shiba. And yes the tackle was necessary since it I finally got to feel you and see you in person." I gave her a wolfish grin as I tilted my head letting her pet me some more. My mate sure was something else and it was nice.

"There you are Matsumoto. Whose your friend?" I looked at the newcomer who had a hand on the hilt of his sword. "Toma Black, you must be Captain Shiba." I snickered as his eyes widened in shock. He looked at Rangiku then at me with confusion on his face. "I'm her soulmate and she is mine. No this is not my original form I just prefer this most of the time." I nudged my mate and felt her let me go before I shifted back to human.

Instantly she was in my arms and I held her tightly. Burying my face in her hair as she clung to me. "Gods I have waited so long for this kitten. It was hell being away from you. My dreams were my only solace in that world." I didn't care that we had company all I cared about was the woman in my arms. We would have time later for a more intimate reunion but not right now.

"The Head Captain called for a meeting Rangiku. My guess is he wants to know about our new friend here." I slowly let my mate go then shifted back into my dire wolf. "Whats your name?" I asked him as Rangiku jumped onto my back. As far as I was concerned she could ride on my back anytime she wanted. I had a soft spot for my mate and kids. Or pups as my wolf liked to think of them. "Isshin, Isshin Shiba." I bowed my head respectfully then shifted on my paws. "Let's go then. And it's nice to meet you Isshin." He nodded and I felt my mate grip my fur. As if I would ever let her fall off my back. And then we were off racing towards the meeting.

Captains Meeting - Squad One Barracks

I walked inside with my mate on my back and a smirk on my wolfy face. Isshin walked over to his spot and I followed so that Rangiku could take her place. Once she was off my back I walked up to the Head Captain and sat down. My tail thumping against the floor as I tilted my head back. "Father said you would be old but I didn't think you would look it." I heard every gasp in shock while my mate giggled.

"Yes well I am over 1,000 years old Toma. It is nice of you to finally join us here. Matsumoto was quite eager I assume to greet you before everyone else." I looked over my shoulder at my mate and winked. "Yes she was but she'll be getting a different kind of greeting later. For now I guess I should introduce myself to everyone." I changed back to my human self and faced everyone.

"Hello everyone, I am Toma Black and I am the soulmate to Rangiku over there. For the moment I have been given permission to tell you my true origins. A select few already know and the rest of you shall be informed in due time. I am not technically a soul reaper despite what some of my powers may feel like." I looked around and then at my mate and held out a hand for her. It didn't take long until she was back in my arms once more. "Let me get reunited with my mate here. And then I'll be heading out to Hueco Mundo for a bit of cleaning up. Everything I will be doing is for my new home. So if you need me just ask Rangiku here where to find me if I am not with her."

I looked back at Genryusai and nodded. "I'm going to steal my mate here and let you carry on with your meeting." I hated dragging things out so I picked my mate up and disappeared. It was time to be with the woman I was tied to since birth. As creepy as some may find that no one can go against what the Soul King wanted.

A.N. Okay so it probably didn't come out the greatest. But I am going to do my best to make better chapters. Hope everyone likes this first chapter.
