Metatron's Memoirs

Book 3

Heavens Fire

The Fire of Heaven, The Blood of Angels:

After the events that had taken place in hell on gaining another archangel and following through on a promise to Vhorul, the group reconvened on the table at the rear of the cave to discuss the next moves for the assault on heaven.

As the group settled down around the table, Metatron and his brothers took their seats next to each other before addressing the group on the next part of the plan.

"We have now got everything we need to complete our assault; Metatron will start work on the tablet and Gadreel can you broadcast it," said Uriel.

Metatron and Gadreel nodded knowing what their assignment was, Gadreel had also informed the group that heaven was building defenses as Jack had suspicions of an attack imminently.

"Arakiel, I know you have been training the troops hard here and I thank you for that, but Jerahmeel had said that he will contact the fractions still loyal to him which should bolster your forces, you and Jerahmeel will lead our attack. The angel tablet may bring more troops to our cause but don't count on it" said Uriel to the two.

They looked at each other and knew what they had to do and knew that the troops would have to be prepared to for any defense that awaited them in heaven.

"Belphegor, we will need some of the knights of hell, I will pair with you and lead this attack as I know heaven and will try to stop your knights from dying," said Uriel.

Belphegor scoffed at this; he knew that an angel couldn't care about hell's forces, but he had no other option but to help in this equation as so far, the angels have held up their end of the deal.

"Finally, that brings me to Seraphiel and Mastema. You 2 are the most important part of our attack and will stay at the back until we have clear channels in heaven and the right level of protection for you both, do you understand?" asked Uriel to the pair.

They looked at each other then at the rest of the group, they ultimately knew that Mastema would have to face off against Jack and it could go either way, so their protection was of the upmost importance.

With this the group all got up from the area and started going their separate ways to get what was required done, Uriel pointed at Metatron and Jerahmeel to come over to him for a private chat.

"As you know, we will try to send the troops in through the back entrance, the one you escaped from Metatron, but we will need a group on the main gate to draw distraction and we all know who guards that" he said looking at the pair seriously.

The gate for the main gates of heaven fell on the shoulders of Saint Peter, a power bestowed upon him by God to protect heaven from any threats made the gate very difficult to take down, the last time it was breached was when Lucifer led his army up there, so it takes the power of an archangel to get through it. The trio knew Michael would most likely situate himself there to run his commands against any attacks, this could thoroughly hinder them as only Lucifer rivalled Michael's power and with him gone, it would take a lot of force to break the gates.

"So, what do you propose" said Jerahmeel to Uriel.

"I would like you to go to the gates with your loyalists and whatever else joins our cause, I will not expect you to fight there as I know Michael will want to talk to you first to convince you of the new order that has been put in place," said Uriel.

Jerahmeel looked a little hesitant at this request.

"What if he attacks us, it is Michael after all, and I've not met Jack yet, so I am a little apprehensive of this plan," said Jerahmeel.

"I cannot force you to do this brother but from the information Gadreel has given it seems unlikely that the forces at the gates will attack first, I just need you to keep the focus on the gates," said Uriel.

With this Jerahmeel seemed to accept his position in this and turned from them and vanished, the thought going through Metatron's and Uriel's minds was that he had gone to meet with the fraction leaders.

Metatron also turned and headed towards a secluded section of the cave and looked at what he was tasked with, Gadreel had come up behind Metatron clutching something in his hands.

"My lord, I have managed to get your tools for this job," said Gadreel.

He handed Metatron a small pouch which was very old made from animal skin with what looked like a hammer and chisel in it. Metatron thanked the Cherubim for this and turned back to the cave where he had found some loose rocks, he picked one up and took his book from his jacket, so he knew the words to write. It had been a very long time since he had last written a commandment, so it needed to be perfect to have any hope of getting more troops to the cause. Gadreel stayed nearby just watching the scribe in action, the only other person to see this being written was God himself, a small crowd of angels gathered also to watch this unfold.

Metatron saw the small crowd gather and continued none the less, he picked up the chisel and hammer and started to chisel out the first words on the stone tablet. With each strike of the hammer, small shots of bright blue electricity rolled off the stone, making the etchings everlasting and un editable. This amazed the crowd watching a mast of craft at work and before long, Metatron sat back and blew over the stone to clear the dust, scanning the words with his own eyes. The tablet had engraved on it:

"The angels of the lord are the true troops of heaven, you have been given the role to protect my vision at all costs, your grace and servitude are an honour to yourself and my undying love for you. If heavens vision ever changes, fight for what we have worked for, and you will feel my eternal light on you even in death Answer my call to protect your home."

"It is done" said Metatron ushering Gadreel to come over.

As Gadreel got closer to the tablet with still small sparks of electricity coming from it, Metatron said that he needed to place his hand on it, and it will relay the message across all angel radio and to all celestial beings. Metatron knew that once this message was out their heaven would fortify their positions and try to discredit the teachings on the tablet as false. This was a big risk for the group, but it was required in the steps to gain more troops.

Gadreel steadily placed his hand on the tablet and his eyes rolled back into his head only showing the whites, this was a sign that he was now relaying this message to all angels and beings that could receive it. The angels in the cavern also stopped in their tracks, it was like looking at beings that were receiving an invisible message. Once this was complete, the angels all took a deep breath, the message was successfully out there. That war was coming in the heavens.

Metatron walked over to the cave opening and looked up, what he saw in the sky was thunder and lightning reaching every corner, heaven was preparing for battle, and it looked like it was going to be no easy fight. To the humans this would just look like a major storm but little else, the unassuming creatures never knew of the troubles. He saw in the corner of his eye that Uriel had come over to him.

"They know what we have begun" he said looking up.

"We must not fail brother; it is our time to rule and guide Earth under father's vision," said Uriel.

"How can we though brother, we need to be able to get Michael on our side come the end of this, he knows how to rule, I know that Mastema can lead us to great things but that will have to be under guidance," said Metatron.

"We know what father vision was and Mastema said he will not deter from it, have faith that we can succeed" said Uriel placing his hand on Metatron's shoulder.

This gave Metatron the confidence he was lacking to pull off the attack, he looked at his brother and knew now it was a waiting game for the attack, once they had the signal from Jerahmeel and Belphegor they could commence. The best thing for them now in the cave was to rest, tomorrow might just be their last day…

Metatron was awoken the next morning with a shake from his brother, Metatron's adjusting to the morning light in the cave.

"I've heard from Jerahmeel, he has managed to get to his fractions and waiting on us to go, Belphegor has also alerted us of his remaining knights ready to go, this is it brother, this is our time!" said Uriel.

Metatron quickly came to and looked around at the cavern, seeing the angels putting armour on donning their weapons ready for the charge that awaited them. After scanning around he could not see Jerahmeel or Belphegor, this made him uneasy.

"Where is Jerahmeel and Belphegor" said Metatron to Uriel.

"They will meet us on the plains of heaven just outside the main gates ready for the attack" said Uriel.

"What do you want me to do now brother" asked Metatron.

"I need you at the back to help Seraphiel and Mastema, an archangel protecting them should give us an edge in this battle," said Uriel.

Metatron quickly scurried off to find the duo, which had by this time already armored up and were ready for the trip to the plains.

"Metatron, Uriel had told us you are with us, we will need all the help we can get" said Seraphiel.

Mastema was smiling as if this attack didn't phase him, he looked battle ready and was emanating the cause from his body, so confident and righteous. Metatron knew he would do all he could to protect them.

"You have my word; I may not be much of a fighter, but I will protect you in every way I can," said Metatron.

Seraphiel had a tear in her eye but knew the sincerity in her master and Mastema just kept smiling at him.

At the cavern entrance Metatron could see that Uriel had taken a stand on a rock slightly higher than the rest of the troops below, about to address everyone, he looked around to gain an audience.

"Troops! Are you ready to go to the plains of heaven!" he bellowed.

"This is our day, fight for the cause and there's no reason why we should lose this fight, give everything you have as heaven won't hold back" he shouted.

"If we succeed, our lives will be whatever we want it to be, no more hiding, no more holding back, we are to complete our fathers plan and get Earth back to what he wanted!" he shouted, raining his sword into the air.

All the troops below raised their weapons and shouted back at him in unison, knowing their task and that their fate comes down this.

"NOW GO!" screamed Uriel to the crowd.

With that the troops looked towards the sky and held a hand over their heart, disappeared leaving a trail of light streaming upwards, the cavern was soon empty, and Metatron knew it was time for him and the others to join them on the plains. Metatron looked skyward and placed his hand on his heart, closing his eyes he was ready.

The wind, rain and lighting going off all around them going up through the clouds until they reached the rally point on the plains of heaven, you could see in the close distance the gates of Saint Peter, angels atop of the high stone walls all battle ready and of course just as Uriel had predicted, Michael watching the mass on the plains before him amassing into a force. It looked at though heaven was well prepared for the fight, and this didn't come as a shock to Uriel, he knew was they had to face.

Metatron quickly found Uriel in the mass that was there before them, he pulled his brother to the side wanting a word with him.

"Michael is at the gates brother, the troops we have aren't enough to breach the walls here" said Metatron with fear in his voice.

"We are waiting for Jerahmeel and Belphegor before we even consider moving any closer to the gates," said Uriel.

Uriel had turned to the troops that had massed on the plains and told them to get into their true forms and set up defensive positions until the others arrived. This was done with precision and quickly, Metatron thought they wouldn't have to wait too long until the others got there, the force on the planes would rival that of what had been prepared against them.

Soon enough Jerahmeel and his loyalists appeared around the group, there were hundreds of angels already fighting for Jerahmeel. It appears he had briefed them and given them the talk that Uriel gave the troops in the cave. It was clear to Metatron that the angels of Jerahmeel's fractions wanted this fight, maybe to reclaim who they were, no more hiding.

"Brothers!" boomed Jerahmeel to Uriel and Metatron.

"I have found my loyalists and informed them of the plan, they got your message Metatron and will stand by our cause until the bitter end. Have you looked at the gates yet?" he asked.

"Yes, as I suspected Michael is there," said Uriel.

Jerahmeel turned to look at the gates and saw Michael atop the stone towers surrounding them.

"I will take my loyalists and head over to the gates shortly, I will buy you as much time as I can get you but if they attack us, we will be forced to fight back," said Jerahmeel.

"Understood, try not to kill Michael if it can be helped, he would be a good asset to us in the world that other father wanted," said Uriel.

Jerahmeel nodded and led his troops closer to the gates, you could see more angels appearing on the walls of the gate to strengthen their positions.

"We are here" said a voice behind Uriel.

He turned to see Belphegor and a handful of knights all with faces covered in the blackest armor ready to fight.

"Excellent, now you are here, me and you will go to the backdoor with your knights and some of the troops that Arakiel can spare to loosen the defenses on the wall here at the gates," said Uriel.

"If we can strengthen the door then Metatron can get in with the others," said Belphegor.

"That's the plan, we don't want Jack and Castiel making a run for it, we must confront them," said Uriel.

"Arakiel, come here," shouted Uriel.

"Yes, my lord" replied Arakiel.

"We need some troops for the backdoor assault, I have some knights of hell, but we will need a bit more to hold the entrance," said Uriel.

"My lord I can only allow you to take no more than 20, until more arrive and that's a big if I need the rest here at the gate" said Arakiel.

"Understood, we will take what you can spare for now," said Uriel.

Arakiel summoned some troops over and informed them of their new mission to assist in the backdoor breach to gain a foothold in heaven.

With this Arakiel went to with his troops to add more force into what Jerahmeel had aligned at the gates of heaven. All standing in rows, looking like an army ready to pounce, it seemed to be a standoff, but this allowed the necessary time to get the troops to the backdoor assault.

Metatron could see from the back flanks that Jerahmeel had steeped forward alone from the troops on the frontline and was calling out for his brother Michael to chat, it wasn't a taunt, but it was just trying to get Michael's attention. This made the archangel stand up once he realized who he was dealing with.

This slight hesitation from Michael allowed Uriel's group to leave the plains and go along the ridges and valleys on the plains parallel to the walls of heaven to reach the point that Metatron had escaped from.

"Brother, you made it" shouted Michael down to Jerahmeel.

"That I did, Michael, we don't want to attack you, but we are prepared if you don't stand down," said Jerahmeel.

"You know this rag tag band you have cannot breach the gates, our fortifications will hold heaven and allow our new leader to create the new world," said Michael.

"If it comes to attacking you, we will, we just want to fulfill over fathers wishes and create the Earth in his image," said Jerahmeel.

"Our father lost his way! He caused so much destruction and was going to rebuild a new creation," shouted Michael.

"We have also heard your "fake commandment", do you think it will get you any troops? Jack is learning and learning fast, we must follow his wishes," said Michael.

"Our father was almighty! His rule was absolute, you know the penalty of going against him, remember Lucifer by chance" replied Jerahmeel.

"Our dear brother, he lost his way and having him in the empty is what he deserves!" shouted Michael.

"I agree, he turned his back on our fathers creation, torturing and kill his way through the ages but you must realize father loved him the same as the rest of us" said Jerahmeel.

"If you want to follow this "false god" then so be it but we are here to do as our father commanded and remake this world in his image!" shouted Jerahmeel.

Michael then turned his attention to the troops lined up behind Jerahmeel and noticed Arakiel. Shaking his head at what he could see, he shouted:

"All of you will die here today, the skies will rain down your blood on the Earth if you do not yield and join us in the new way of life" said Michael, his voice booming like it was through speakers.

Not one angel moved, not even a flinch. Their purpose was absolute, the plan set in them to get heaven back.

"So be it, have your death!" screamed Michael to the crowd.

"Ready yourselves!" shouted Jerahmeel.

With this all the troops had grown in size, their true forms now on displayed, all unfurling their wings and donning their weapons. Jerahmeel doing the same, the pure power coming from his bright blue electrical wings creating a circle around him showing the raw power to the troops. They lined up and prepared for whatever Michael was about to unleash, come knew this was their last stand but they wouldn't go down without a fight.

Michael could be seen preparing his troops along the walls, Saint Peters gate still standing strong it would take all their might to get through it.

Whilst this was taking place, the other group had managed to breach the back door and were going through heaven at a fast pace, the knights of hell cleaving the angels that came towards them with ease, even Belphegor managed to take a couple out, Uriel knew they would have to go through the cells to get to the main area known as heavens square. There were guards here and Uriel swept them aside without too much fuss causing them to vanish in white smoke. As they rounded the corridors and saw the gates leading to the square, they saw someone they could not forget easily.

"Castiel" said Metatron filled with rage.

"Hello Metatron, I see you have friends with you" replied Castiel holding an archangel blade.

"Cas, we are here to do God's will on Earth, things can't stay like it is!" pleaded Metatron.

"We think it's going well so far, Jack knows who's here and it will be a struggle to defeat him" said Castiel.

"I'll kill you angel scum!" shouted Belphegor, lifting his arm and sending the knights towards him.

Castiel dispatched each knight one after the other leaving their armor husks laying on the floor, without even a scratch. This showed the group that Castiel wasn't his usual self, he had a higher power.

"Stand Back Belphegor, I got this" said Uriel unsheathing his blade.

"Metatron, Belphegor, protect what we must, we cannot loose" said Uriel looking back.

The angels that Arakiel had let go with the group surrounded Uriel, ready to battle with Castiel and get the group to safety.

Castiel charged at the group taking out a handful of the angels, his pace was rapid making it hard to defend against the other angels creating a line so that Uriel could get involved in the fight, the others stood back waiting, knowing their duties. As Cas took down a few more angels, Uriel stepped up and shouted:

"Enough! It's you and me now" to Castiel.

"I was hoping that would be the case" replied Cas.

Uriel went in hard on Castiel, hitting him in the stomach with the butt of his sword, knocking some of the pace out of him, Cas swung wildly with the blade he had and clipped a wing on Uriel causing a few feathers to drop. It seemed they were even matched at this point.

Cas stepped back and charged in, speed still on his side but it seemed that Uriel was parrying his attached with his sword, the flames spitting from it and hitting the walls illuminating the cells. This kept on until Cas made a good hit making a deep incision slit into the back of the knee of Uriel, which brought him to his knees.

The other angels that served as guard stepped back as this and thought that if Uriel falls here, they would be done for.

"Brother, stop him" shouted Uriel to Metatron.

Metatron looked around and saw something was already in motion, Seraphiel had already prepared her angel bow and as Cas was about to take his final blow on the archangel, she released the pure white arrow from the bow. The arrow soared through the corridor and as Cas turned it went directly into the chest cavity, lodging itself deep. With his final breath he looked up at the group and said:

"Jack will still kill you all!"

"We have a secret weapon" whispered Metatron, causing Mastema to come forward.

Castiel had the look of fear on his face as he was now face to face with the only other living Nephilim and he knew that he could be an even match for Jack. The color and breath left Castiel's body as he vanished into smoke, going back to the empty from where Jack had rescued him.

The group looked round in disbelief, they had defeated Jacks right hand in heaven, Jack would already know of this, and his wrath would come down on them. The group ran out of the corridor into the square where there weren't any angels, they must have been drafted to the main gate for reinforcements.

At the main gate, the battle was well under way, angels fighting with all their might against each other no one was safe, the blood spilling in every direction, weapons hitting each other, and shields being broken with hard hits. Angels on both sides seemed to be suffering heavy losses, Jerahmeel steading his feet to look around, the troops of his great army were dwindling but so were Michaels forces, the end here had to come soon. Gadreel the cherubim, lay still a blade sticking from his back, many of the fallen around him all suffering the same fate, Michaels troops were relentless and under the command of their leader.

Arakiel could be seen fighting in the distance on the planes taking out more and more, his fighting skill was there to be seen, Michael had come down from the wall and was engaged in battle with his brother Jerahmeel. Michael jabbing at him with his lance and Jerahmeel stopping it with the chains he had moving the lance left and right, it was evident that Michael was getting frustrated not being able to land a blow on his brother. Their fight had a wide berth as the power emanating from the made it hard for anyone to get close. Michael then with his right had got out a sword from the sheath and was dual wielding weapons, this made it much harder for Jerahmeel to keep the blows back. Michael knocked one chain out of his hand and kept going until Jerahmeel was on his knees. Clearly power drunk, Michael seemed to only notice the battle that he was engaged in. Jerahmeel looked up, blood running down his face one eye almost closed over waiting for his death, Michael thrust his lance at Jerahmeel who had closed his eyes, but the a few seconds passed, and Jerahmeel slowly opened his eyes. Arakiel and thrown himself in the lance, which was now coming out of his back, a true sacrifice for Jerahmeel, he looked back at his master and gave a bloody smile before disappearing into smoke.

"Arakiel!" yelled Jerahmeel.

"A good soldier if ever I had known one," said Michael.

"You have fought valiantly brother, but your forces are all but gone and you are defeated" said Michael, his back turned to the plains as he was facing the gates.

"Do you yield, or shall I kill you now" asked Michael.

"Brother you might have trouble with that" laughed Jerahmeel on his knees.

"Turn around" pointed Jerahmeel to his brother.

It appears the call from the tablet had worked, thousands of angels were appearing on the plains of heaven all battle ready and full of energy, they had joined the cause and began forcing Michael's men back behind the wall, and as this happy the gates of heaven were forced open allowing the rebel angels to get inside.

Michael looked horrified, in a moment his forces had been completely overrun and forced back into heaven, the gates that should have held were forced open, he could see that Uriel, Metatron and Mastema had forced it open from the inside. Angels now appearing all around Michael and Jerahmeel, Michael knew his end was nigh.

"Finish me" he said to Jerahmeel.

"I'm sorry brother that not the plan, put these on" said Jerahmeel holding out a pair of angel shackles to Michael.

He put this on and was treated as a prisoner and would not be killed in this war. The angels that appeared later helped Jerahmeel to his feet and marched forward with Michael through the gates and into heaven.

Metatron and Uriel were glad to see that their brother was alive, one cuffed and one badly injured. This bodes well for facing Jack, the group marched on through the square to the upper part of heaven where it looked like a massive building sat ontop of clouds, supported by nothing. This they knew is where Jack would be. The army of angels still fighting each other and warring all around them, heaven's army not taking too much notice of the group below as they were still fighting for their own lives.

The group got to the front door of the palace, by this time Michael had been taken to the cells by some of the angels that survived which Arakiel had leant to Uriel. They were told to stay in the cells with him and not to let him out or escape at any cost.

The three brothers knew how to open the door, they cut their hands and held it up to the door allowing their blood to spill on it, this caused the large doors to open. Here is where they saw a globe in the middle of the room showing all areas of Earth and Jack stood there next to it, unguarded he was and looking like an easy target.

Jerahmeel leapt forward without a thought and snapped his chains at Jack, the group thought this may be able to halt him in his tracks. Jack took a step to his right and clicked his fingers and Jerahmeel had disappeared completely. The group were now in shock, where had he gone, they all thought.

"To the empty" said Jack reading the expressions on their faces.

"I am the lord almighty; I took your fathers power, and you think you can defeat me?" He questioned them in a joking manner.

"We defeated Castiel," shouted Uriel.

"For that you will pay" said Jack slowly pacing from left to right.

"So, who do we have left here to try and defeat me" Jack said calmly.

He looked at the group and knew Metatron and Uriel already.

"Belphegor, you joined in with this assault that surprises me and Seraphiel, it's been a long time since you were here but you *pointing at Mastema* I don't know you" said Jack to the group.

"I joined this group to end your reign, how Earth worked before was fine for us" said Belphegor to Jack.

"In chaos, my grandfather was going to finish the Earth and go off and have a new venture" replied Jack.

"We have heard," said Belphegor.

"Still though what we had was better than you and your precious Castiel could ever create," said Belphegor.

This wasn't what Jack wanted to hear and with another click of his fingers, Belphegor burst into flame and was gone. Another one of the group down, this seemed like a forgone conclusion that their end was near, that Jack was playing with them on who to kill next as he looked over the remaining members.

"I asked you who you are" said Jack pointing at Mastema.

"Mastema, I was the first of the Nephilim, charged by your grandfather, my father to watch over the Nephilim on Earth. We are the last 2 of our kind left" said Mastema to Jack.

"A Nephilim, like me then," said Jack.

"Not like you, I was created by the true lord and have come here to finish your reign" replied Mastema.

"Not likely" said Jack in a low tone, his eyes going yellow, and he clicked his fingers again just like he did on the others.

This time, however, nothing happened, Mastema stood there with a smile on his face. Jack looking slightly confused by this.

"Why are you still here" he said.

"That type of power doesn't work on me, I was created by the lord, I directly have his power in me just as you do however yours was siphoned off from him, I have been absorbing all the souls that have fallen in this battle, your right-hand angel, and the members of this group. You thought you were sending them to the empty… no I was absorbing them into me" said Mastema.

Jack was shocked he knew now he had met his match in this world, an equally strong Nephilim. Jack gathered as much power as he could, ready to throw a punch into Mastema, but Mastema held his hand up.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you" he said to Jack.

"And why not, why must I listen to you" replied Jack.

"Look at the doors" said Mastema waving at them.

In the doorway stood Vhorul accompanied by the three fates. Jack knew of the fates but not Vhorul.

"Who are you" asked Jack.

"I am Vhorul, I am death, I am here with the fates, this is your end" said Vhorul.

"I will end you" said Jack to Vhorul but again as he tried to click his fingers nothing happened.

"You cannot kill me, I am Death and it is written to reap you and so I must" said Vhorul pointing at him, the fates confirming what Vhorul said looking at their books.

The realization of the moment now coming to Jack. This was his end, he had nothing left to throw at them.

"I will end this world then!" shouted Jack pointing his hands downwards and creating trembles but as soon as it started it had ended, Vhorul now face to face with him.

"I cannot allow that to happen" he said to Jack.

With that a quick and swift swipe was made with the scythe and lodged itself into the neck of the new lord, all the members of the group staggered and lost for words. The strong beam of light shooting upwards from the body of the new lord, as he fell to his knees. Pitiful and in despair he looked around at the group and said:

"You shall meet the same fate too."

Before falling onto all fours and into nothing. The group looked at each other, bloodied and bruised and walked over to where Vhorul was standing.

"You too will be reaped someday but today is not that day" he said to Mastema before vanishing with the fates at his side.

Uriel, Metatron and Seraphiel stood there silently looking at Mastema, they all knew he was powerful but to so Jack in his tracks so easily was astounding to them. They could hear the fighting outside of the walls had come to an end, angels laying down weapons and surrendering. The war in heaven had been won, yes there had been heavy and significant losses but least now the world could be molded in God's image.

"Mastema, are you ready for the speech" asked Uriel slowly walking over to him.

"Yes, I will use angel radio and broadcast our message" he said placing his hand on the globe in the middle of the room.

"Brothers and sisters, I am Mastema. Jack is dead and the war in heaven has ended. We have reclaimed heaven in the name of our father and will carry on the Earth in his image. If you want to come out of hiding, you are more than welcome home here in heaven" boomed Mastemas voice, his hand still firmly placed on the globe to reach every corner ensuring that all angels and celestials could hear him.

"You will have sanctuary and a safe place if you come here but no if you stand against us, we will take no prisoners" he said ending his speech.

"Very good, let's hope the message has reached the angels and that they come home," said Uriel.

"Take no prisoners, what do you mean" asked Metatron.

"We can't have a rebellion against us, after all we lost," said Uriel.

Metatron nodded agreeing on this, everything they had to do and lost to get here, a brother, friends, and troops, all laying their lives down for the cause which had now reached its head. Maybe the ideals of their father can now work, and Earth will carry on just as it always was. Only time would tell, they knew it would be a long road ahead, but they had patience and the time to get this completed.

All four members off the group who stood in this room embraced each other and left, looking out at the fires in heaven, the rebuild must begin here before Earth can be redone. Uriel and Metatron had left the building leaving Seraphiel there with Mastema, they headed towards Saint Peters gate and looked out on the plains of heaven, they could see angels popping up over the plains, it would seem they didn't want to hide anymore, they wanted a home. It carried on like this, some in groups and others just singularly, at least they had a home now and could help with God's will.

One year had passed since the war, heaven now fully restored to its former glory and Metatron back at the side of Mastema, guiding him on god's earliest notes and how things needed to be done with very little interaction with the creation, to let them figure it out. Metatron was happy in this role, he knew it well and Mastema seemed to learn quickly from him, they both had the protection of Seraphiel.

Uriel had tried time and time to convince Michael to join them, but this was met on deaf ears for now, so Michael remained in the prison of heaven until such time he wanted to join them, Uriel also took up helping lost angels to make them see that the plan they had was for the benefit of Earth.

Troops were trained for the fight with hell was still an ongoing issue, Mammon and Mephisto seemed to enjoy raining havoc on Earth and angels, corrupting anything they could but then again you can never trust a demon to be honest or kind.

It appeared that the rule was going well, in the backs of their minds there was always the issue of impending danger and doom, but nothing had been heard to suggest this as of late.

Metatron and Uriel had met up to discuss the events and how the world was progressing.

"We did it brother the world reshaped in fathers' image; I couldn't be any prouder," said Uriel.

"We did, we have lost I know and Mastema is learning but for now things are ok," said Metatron.

"You seem troubled brother," said Uriel.

"This is the calm before the storm, remember the assault on heaven all those years ago? We must be ready," said Metatron.

"We will be brother, we will be" said Uriel dedicated to the world now.

The brothers looked at each other and across heaven, this was their world now, the memory of their father would not be in vain, it would only resurge through the heavens and on Earth.

In a secluded cabin, in the north America, the woods and smells of nature drifting in through the window, sat a man with his radio playing, gently rocking in his chair. The noise coming from the radio was just static with an occasional voice saying a word or two maybe. The man still sat there rocking slowly as if it was music that he liked playing to him. The man lifting a hand up to switch it off and he put down his pen and notepad and walked to the window to look out at the nature before him, then lifting his head up towards the skies seeing the rolling clouds through the blue background.

"It'll soon be my time," said the man.

"This is my world" he said.

Chuck was back on the board and ready to see his children and what they had done…

End.
