Capítulo 1 - Un nuevo mundo

Author's notes

Hello people, this is a translation of my Fanfic that was originally in Spanish. They recommended that I publish it on this platform in translation.

My English is not very good, but I try to do the best I can. If anyone can help me with the translation I would appreciate it.

This story is essentially a FGO crossover, that is, Fate x Fate, in this case, Fate/Stay Night x Fate/Samurai Remnant. It is intended as a play that you can see having seen Stay Night, but you will enjoy it more if you know what happened in Samurai Remnant.

End of Author's Notes

A hellish landscape, something the boy had seen many times.

The city had been set on fire, the agony, the pain. All of that had already faded from Shirou's mind.

"Wake up"

How long had it been? Ten long years. Ten years since the city of Fuyuki burned in mysterious flames, ten years since that child lost everything, ten years since Shirou lost his parents. Ten years since he was adopted by…

"Wake up asshole!"

An immense pain brought Shirou back to reality, as soon as his consciousness recovered, the only thing he could see was how his face hit the ground.

"W-Where am I?" thought the young boy.

He could only feel the pain in his back, he tried to get up, but his body fell to the ground. His head was spinning, his mind was burning, the air seemed too hot, he felt like throwing up his organs. He had never felt so sick in his life.

He tried to look around, he was in a greenish field with little grass and there were some old houses nearby. The people who had beaten him were strange people, they wore old kimonos, carried old katanas, and looked like they hadn't bathed in days.

Two of these men approached the redhead and roughly picked him up.

"His clothes are very strange, he must be a foreigner" mentioned one of those who grabbed him.

"Yes, look at that red hair, it must be one of those Dutch people who travel from Yokosuka" responded another of these strange men.

"Boss come see! We will earn a great fortune selling these strange clothes" One of the men surrounding Shirou shouted.

With the shout of the ugly man, a strange man with a scar appeared. He resembled the others in the way he dressed, but he was much taller and more muscular and carried two katanas.

The man approached Shirou while he tried to free himself, but it was impossible, he felt too weakened, if it weren't for the two men holding him, he wouldn't even be able to stand. Had he been drugged?

The scarred man grabbed Shirou's left arm, holding him up as the other two men let him go.

"He is one of the marked..." The man looked at his subordinates "It's our lucky day Shousetsu will give us a large amount of money if we give it to him!" All the strange men screamed with excitement upon hearing the news.

The screams managed to make Shirou regain consciousness a little more. He didn't know where he was, but his instinct was screaming at him, these men were definitely not going to take him anywhere good.

"Suel..." The redhead took a breath. "Let go!" At that moment Shirou threw a punch at the man's side, causing him to let go. As soon as he freed himself, with his little strength and stumbling non-stop, the young Emiya managed to get away from the strange men who surrounded him, even if it was only a few meters.

With that space, Shirou managed to lean on a wall to get up. He looked at the angry crowd of men with katanas, they were angry and several drew their shoddy katanas.

Shirou was nervous, he didn't have the strength to run, much less fight. His only salvation was to use magic, but none of his spells would be useful against men like them, the only thing possible would be to try to strengthen his legs and pray that it would give him enough speed to escape.

But then, a voice was heard behind the men.

"Causing trouble? Leave the boy alone if you don't want to lose your head" said a young voice.

He was a dead-eyed young man, smaller than the scarred man and like the rest he wore a dark teal kimono and carried two katanas.

"Who the hell are you?" the scarred man said angrily. "Finish him"

Several of the men who had drawn the katana rushed towards the young man in blue. The man unsheathed one of his katanas and whispered "Ground stance."

One of the men launched a vertical cut, but the young man blocked it without problems and took the opportunity to counterattack with a diagonal cut and took advantage of the force of the momentum of his katana to turn around on himself as he approached the other bandit, defeating him with a horizontal cut.

Seeing this, everyone in the area thought, "He's strong."

The rest of the thuggish swordsmen quickly drew their katanas and attacked together. The young man, seeing how they had surrounded him, only said "Water stance" while he unsheathed his other katana.

He used two katanas at the same time, but it wasn't just that, his agility seemed to have increased.

Using two katanas he moved with graceful movements while cutting down all of his opponents with little opportunity for them to defend themselves.

Diagonal cuts in both directions one after the other, launch two diagonal cuts at the same time, tracing an X with his swords.

All the bandits fell, leaving the scarred man alone.

"Don't worry, I made sure not to kill any of them, I just gave them a good beating" The young swordsman said.

The scarred warrior could only grumble as he pulled out his two katanas with an annoyed smile.

"Two marked... It's my lucky day, I'll give you Shousetsu too and I'll become rich"

The giant man lunged at the young man with two vertical slashes, while the young man unsheathed one of his katanas "Ground Stance."

Shirou wanted to shout at the young man that it was crazy to do all this, but before he could say anything, the two slashes were stopped by the dead-eyed man's katana. Starting a struggle.

Shirou watched worriedly as the man who had helped him seemed to be in trouble, he had to do something to try to help him.

Looking around he could only find some stones, it wasn't much, but maybe it could help. He grabbed one of the stones and threw it at the muscular man's head. The man, upon receiving the damage, was distracted for a moment by throwing a murderous look at Shirou and the young swordsman took advantage of that second of weakness to win the struggle, destabilizing the posture of his opponent and again using the inertia generated by his struggle to launch a horizontal cut to the scarred warrior's stomach.

The man fell to the ground defeated and the young warrior sheathed his sword with an expressionless face.

"I expected more from a warrior who uses two swords," he murmured.

With all the enemies defeated the young man looked at Shirou. And after an awkward silence he asked.

"You... You're not from here, right?" The young boy looked at his surroundings again… This place was definitely not Fuyuki.

"Y-Yes... I think" Shirou responded doubtfully as he finally managed to stand properly.

Emiya approached the man who saved him and extended his hand in gratitude.

"Still, thank you very much for saving me, I-I'm Shirou, Emiya Shirou."

The man responded to Shirou's grip on his hands "I am Iori, Miyamoto Iori"

"Miyamoto Iori? Miyamoto Musashi's adopted son?" Shirou said surprised.

"Um... Yes" Iori responded somewhat strangely "B-but that's impossible, that Musashi's son is currently alive, hundreds of years have passed since he died..." At that moment Shirou's mind realized something... He quickly grabbed Iori asked him nervously, "What year are we in?" The man with two katanas just looked at Shirou strangely as he said, "In the year 1651."

Iori's words cut Shirou off completely. The year 1651… The Edo period of Japan… Did he somehow travel back in time?

"Are you okay?" Iori asked.

Shirou didn't know what to answer, how could he tell her that he traveled back in time? It was crazy that no one would believe him, not only that, Kiritsugu always told him that he had to be careful when using magic, because if he revealed the secret, the magicians outside could go and "silence" him, he had to make up some excuse before...

"Are you from the future?"

"Yeah…"

A few seconds passed as Shirou's mind processed what he had just done, "Oh my god I'm a complete idiot" the redhead said to himself, he had just done exactly what Kiritsugu told him not to do.

"W-Wait, H-How did you do it?" Emiya tried to ask.

"Your body is permeated with high amounts of residual Magical Energy and your clothes are definitely not from anywhere in this world, so you are either from another parallel world or from the future"

Miyamoto argued. Shirou was shocked. Did Miyamoto Musashi's son know about magic? Was magic common in this era? His doubts were interrupted when Iori grabbed his arm and began to pull him.

"Come with me, maybe grandpa knows something"

Shirou decided to let himself be carried away by Iori, he didn't know exactly what to do, after all, it wasn't like he had different options, within a minute they arrived at Iori's house. It was a fairly small old wooden house.

"I'm back!

Iori exclaimed, but the house seemed empty. Did Musashi's son live with someone? Shirou thought to himself, he didn't know much about Japanese history... Or English... Or...

He didn't know much in general.

"Grandpa wake up! I have something that might interest you"

The black-haired young man continued. With his words, a floating red book appeared out of nowhere, it had two red eyes, one on top of the other, and a hole in its cover that simulated a mouth.

"A Talking Book" Shirou thought, a part of him felt like he should be more surprised by something like this, but compared to time travel this felt unimpressive.

"Ho Ho ho, did you bring a visitor? I am Crimson Codex, a living mystical code that accompanies heroes and interesting people of all eras"

said the floating book with a smile, when he looked at Shirou... his eyes widened and he approached the redhead to inspect him, his modern clothes were something different from any previous era. .

"I-Unbelievable, you're definitely a time traveler!"

He looked like a child when he saw a Superhero or something like that. Seconds turned into minutes as the book inspected Shirou from different angles.

"What year are you?"

"2004, I lived in Fuyuki… A city in Japan"

"How do you feel?"

"Um... Dizzy... Disoriented... Helpless... Frustrated... Fever... And I can't remember how I got here or what I did yesterday."

"Hm hm... I see... 2004 is a fairly modern time, I suppose the mystery is not as strong as in this time, perhaps those symptoms more than the time travel itself, are from your low resistance to the concentration of Magical Energy "

"Huh? I-I don't understand."

"Magical Energy with the passage of time becomes more and more scarce because the mystery disappears, but in this Era, and especially on this earth, the Mystery is quite powerful and the Magical Energy is abundant, in fact, Lately Magical Energy has been much more abundant than conventional... For Iori and the inhabitants of this era it is natural because their bodies are adapted to this large amount of Magical Energy, but for someone like you such a sudden change in the concentration of Magical Energy "It must have caused you those symptoms, although with time, you should adapt to this time."

"Y-Do you know how I can get back home?"

"No"

It was cutting sincerity. Wasn't there some way to get back?

"It's the first time I've seen something like this in my entire life. There is magic that manipulates the passage of time in objects or people, but sending something to the past? It's something that only sorcery or magic close to great sorceries can achieve." "

Shirou was surprised, he was not someone very "literate" in magic, in fact, he was ignorant who only saw it as a tool to fix scrap metal because he didn't know how to do anything else either. But he knew it was sorcery. At least a little, Kiritsugu mentioned to him that there was a sorceress capable of time travel, a red-haired monster that you should avoid at all costs.

"Wait a minute, and that brand?"

He said to the book of crimson eyes as he looked at Shirou's left hand. The redhead was surprised, he had not seen it before, it was like a blurry red tattoo.

"Do you know what it is?"

"No, but I can feel how some of the Magical Energy in which you are impregnated is concentrated in that mark"

"Impregnated?"

"It definitely doesn't seem like you traveled by will to this era, so someone or something brought you here. As if you were summoned in Edo... That red mark might be something that brought you to this era."

"This mark... Yes, the men who attacked me and Iori said that we were marked and they would hand us over to someone to make money"

"i-Iori too?"

Iori and Codex were surprised, they both looked at Iori's hands and it turned out that on his right hand there was also a mark similar to Shirou's.

"So the marks aren't related to time travel?"

The book was asked. Everyone didn't know what had happened, but then Iori got up and went to the door.

"Hey, where are you going?"

Shirou asked.

"I have to report to my boss that I finished the job of defeating the bandits, then I will return at nightfall."

"Are you seriously just going to leave like that? We still don't know what to do with the brands."

"For now they're not a problem, and I have better things to do, so yeah, I'm leaving."

After saying that, Iori left to continue his work as Ronin.

Shirou frowned.

"Damn! How can someone so carefree exist? These marks are dangerous. Aren't you worried about your health?"

Immediately afterwards, the redhead went to clean the house.

"A-Are you cleaning?"

"Well... For now the marks are not a problem and I have nothing better to do"

Grandpa was a little incredulous... That red-haired boy was quite the case. But he felt that he could get along with his grandson. and the truth is, someone who cleaned and cooked would be pretty good.

His little granddaughter was good at chores, but looking at Shirou, she could see the superior level of the future in terms of hygiene and household chores. "If only I were a woman of this era..." he thought the book to himself.

Night had fallen, the full moon adorned the sky along with countless stars.

Miyamoto Iori had arrived at her house after a long day working for Sukenoshin, but he had gotten money and that was the important thing.

Now she was faced with another crossroads. How was she going to tell her sister that Shirou would now live with them for a while? She couldn't leave Shirou on the street, it wasn't his fault that he came to Edo, but a part of him couldn't let Shirou get too close to his sister either.

Iori opened the door

"I'm already in-"

Before he finished his words, astonishment overtook him.

His house was completely different! The wood inside had been renovated, everything looked much cleaner and in the background he could see Shirou had new clothes, a somewhat old greenish kimono. Apparently he had changed his clothes for ones more appropriate to the time and now he was doing the comedy in the small kitchen they had.

"Welcome Iori. Do you want to have dinner? Do you want to take a bath? oh..."

The redhead looked at Iori with a frown.

"...Shall we once and for all investigate what the hell is going on with these brands?"

Said an annoyed Emiya. Miyamoto looked at his annoyed partner.

"Take off your clothes"

"Hey"

An annoyed Iori lunged at Shirou seeking to remove his clothes.

"Hey what the hell!?"

A struggle began between the two young men while the crimson book couldn't stop laughing.

"Damn Grandpa! Why of all the clothes did you have to tell him to wear the teacher's clothes?"

"Ho Ho Ho, Iori you should have some more fun, Shirou makes those clothes look more hygienic"

"There won't be?"

Iori began to sniff Shirou. After catching the scent of him, Iori became even angrier.

"A-Are you okay?"

Shirou asked.

"Damn, you just took away the master's scent!"

"How bad did Musashi smell?!"

"The smell is a sample of the master's deeds! Not bathing, not eating! Everything to achieve enlightenment and never be able to attack him by surprise! Enduring that smell of the living dead bathed in manure and rotten blood, was one of the ways he could become stronger!"

"Oh come on, who the hell was going to surprise us right now-?"

As if it were an irony of fate, just before Shirou finished his sentence, an incredible killing intent could be felt in the air.

"CAREFUL!"

Emiya shouted as he grabbed Iori and the Crimson Codex and pushed them out of the house.

Simultaneously, a crimson flash fell on Iori's house, almost completely destroying it.

The explosion pushed the three, although they were not seriously injured.

Miyamoto, due to his experience, was able to get back up with a somersault, but Shirou and the Codex fell to the house opposite.

"What the hell?"

A stunned Iori asked.

"About being alert for surprise attacks... I think you still need a little practice"

A pained Shirou said sarcastically.

"Miyamoto Iori, the one who could never inherit the Niten Ichiryu..."

A mysterious voice said.

"...And Emiya Shirou, the one who could never become a Righteous Hero..."

The voice manifested, he was a man with white hair and brown skin, dull gray eyes and he was wearing black armor with black gauntlets and a red skirt.

"...Two children who always lived in the shadow of their parents brought together by fate, heh, this has to be a macabre joke"

He finished his voice with a certain hateful tone, earning the annoyance of both young people.

"Who are you?"

An annoyed Shirou asked as he stood up.

"You're talking to yourself... Just another idiot who failed to become a Hero."

The man said, as he swam, he manifested two small swords.

They were two swords that in Shirou's eyes were beautiful. Kanshou and Bakuya, two married swords of Chinese origin.

Before Shirou could admire the swords further, several men dressed entirely in black and armed with katanas began to appear from the corners with clear murderous intent.

"I see... Then let me say this... Discretion is the best part of courage"

Iori said as he grabbed Shirou and the Codex to flee on foot.

"Wait, we're running away"

Said a stunned Emiya.

"Can you think of a better plan? They surpass us in power and numbers, I think that man is about 5 times you and not just because you are small"

"Hey... I'm not... I'm small"

Shirou was beginning to feel short of breath, he had not yet adapted properly to the Edo environment and after running a few dozen meters they had to stop.

"S-I'm sorry Iori... I'm a nuisance... better... leave me behind"

Shirou said as he struggled to breathe.

The young Miyamoto watched Shirou. The two of them definitely couldn't escape together, a part of him wanted to abandon him, but...

Iori advanced to the front where the men dressed in black came from.

"You still wear my Master's clothes, Shirou..."

Shirou watched Iori as he drew his two katanas.

"...I am going to protect you, you and the people of Edo"

Iori answered the man's answer without hesitation.

"I guess you'll both die tonight then."

Sighing, the man attacked Iori. Despite not looking like a swordsman, his level was terrifying.

The duel began.

Miyamoto Iori was unrecognizable, roaring, screaming, moaning, all while the echo of clashing metals was recorded in Shirou's mind.

"This is a real battle to the death" thought the red-haired young man.

The katanas howled cutting the air seeking to cut the man.

The swords only remained impassive like a watchdog guarding the underworld.

Iori's combat style did justice to Agua's stance, quick movements enhanced with turns to try to give her greater speed and power to her blows.

The strange man's style was instead something that did more justice to the ground stance, direct movements to the target neutralizing any attack that Iori launched without problems. All this while the man slowly advanced towards Shirou. It was a reckless act to advance ignoring the opponent, but at the same time, it was as if he wanted to demonstrate that Iori's ideals and power were of no use to protect anything.

"Guahhh!"

With a shout Iori launched his most powerful slash, a diagonal slash with his right katana straight at the man's neck.

The echo of metal clashing was heard again, but this time it was different. With a simple movement, the dark armored man managed to disarm Iori.

The katana flew for a few moments, spinning around on itself as it headed towards Shirou.

"Dodge it!"

An agonized Iori screamed, Shirou managed to dodge the flying katana by turning to the right. Even so, both young men were amazed, obviously not because Shirou dodged the attack, but because of the man's skill. Did he plan it all? In some strange way, the man managed to calculate exactly the distance to try to make Iori's katana kill Shirou? Was it an attempt to destroy Iori's ideals again?

"I failed... Well, I guess it's time to end this."

When Iori's gaze returned to his target, he was already looking at him. For the first time they exchanged glances, his gray eyes were lifeless, but at the same time they could transmit his bloodlust to Iori.

Iori quickly took the Ground Stance, the enemy launched a diagonal attack from left to right, a blow that would sever Iori's neck. Maneuvering with the ground stance, Iori tried to block it, but then.

The echo of metal clashing was not heard. The attack did not connect,

"-That?"

Before he could react, a kick launched Iori into the air, the 65 kilos that made up Miyamoto Iori's body fell to the ground, bouncing several times like a stone thrown into the sea with a certain technique, and when he finished bouncing he simply rolled several times. meters more until Iori's defeated body stopped.

"You have a good base and you have good adaptability, but you fail in agility and fluidity"

Iori could only moan in pain as his opponent reproached him, she couldn't even look him in the face. It wasn't just because of pain but because of shame. It was the first time he had met someone so strong, he used dual swords like the master, but his style did not resemble his, it was different but similar, a walking contradiction.

With the fort defeated, only Emiya Shirou remained. The man returned to his original intention, his murderous intent was evident.

"Damn, I must… I must…" Shirou was hesitant, fear and frustration taking over him, that man was a monster walking towards him.

Running was not an option, begging for mercy even less so. There was only one thing to do… Struggle.

"Trace On"

Shirou grabbed Iori's sword that fell near him and began to reinforce it.

It was useless magic, he knew it well, but anything would do at this moment, he just started praying that it would work while he closed his eyes, he needed to concentrate.

The reinforcement was a useful magic, Shirou's, something useless, slower and that almost always failed despite practicing it daily, but on sharp objects it was somewhat more effective.

"Hm... Not bad, but it's just a general reinforcement"

Shirou opened his eyes, now the katana was shining with a light blue glow, the reinforcement had worked.

Before he could rejoice, the enemy pounced on him with his two swords, screeching like an eagle before attacking his small prey.

It was two wills of steel clashing, Iori and the Crimson Codex were shocked, Shirou was holding off the man in black and red. He blocked his attacks using a ground-like stance.

"Shirou..."

A female voice was hidden by the metallic echo of this clash of wills.

He had to find an opening, he had to attack, but the question was when?

He had to find an opening, he had to attack, but the question was when?

She didn't know what to do, she didn't know how to attack, so he could only defend himself, until the inevitable happened. As if it were glass, the blade of Shirou's katana broke in two in the face of one of the man's attacks.

"SHIROU!"

Iori and Codex shouted, but it was useless, before the piece of the broken blade touched the ground, Shirou had already been stabbed by the warrior's Kanshou.

"This is the end, drown with your impossible dreams, Emiya Shirou"

The blade was pulled out, and Shirou fell to his knees as he began to bleed out. The enemy was preparing to launch its final attack, slicing the redhead's neck, but then.

"That's enough, Archer."

He said a high-pitched mysterious voice that commands authority. He was a young, somewhat small man with emerald eyes, had silver hair styled in a ponytail, and was wearing a dark green and blue kimono.

With the young man's voice, the man apparently named Archer stopped, the albino young man approached Iori.

"I am Yui Shousetsu, I am an aspirant to the path of righteousness"

The young man drew his katana.

"You fought to protect someone you didn't even know, you are definitely a good person, my only regret is that I will have to take your life"

The androgynous-looking albino was preparing to cut Iori, but.

"Stop!"

A dying Shirou shouted. Despite being mortally wounded, he got up, and tried to walk towards Shousetsu.

"...P-Please let Iori go... I-I'm from the future, I have information that could help you, I will give it to you if you let Iori go..."

Yui watched him, She was coughing up blood while he was talking, it was difficult for her to walk, it was pitiful... But, still, she was giving everything to protect someone. A slight smile could be seen on Shousetsu's face, but it was quickly eliminated by a serious expression.

"If there were more people like you in this world, my wish would not be required, Shirou Emiya. But I don't care that you are from the future, both you and Miyamoto Iori were marked as Masters, that is why you must die"

"Die... I can't die... Not like this"

Said an Iori without strength... Shirou collapsed to the ground, moving had caused the wound to open more, his life was consumed faster like a lit candle and the image of the hell he experienced ten long years ago reappeared in his mind. to torment him once more. And the only thing he could feel was frustration, he wanted to save Iori, he wanted to save the man who saved him that same day. No, it wasn't that he wanted to save him, he had to save him.

"Even if I had to sell my soul... I... I...!"

"...Even if the moon is not there to guide your path..."

A light manifested in Shirou's left hand.

"I will not fall so easily! I will fight until the end!"

Iori shouted with determination as a crimson light shone from his right hand with great power.

"...Even if there were no stars in the sky..."

"I'm going to save him! I'm going to save them all!"

Shirou shouted with determination. The light in his hand began to shine brighter,

"Impossible, Shirou's summoning had to happen later!"

Yui shouted as she quickly prepared to finish off Iori, no matter what happened she had to kill one of the two before they finished the summoning.

"Chain Summoning?" Archer thought, Shirou Emiya was due to summon him several days later, was Iori speeding up Shirou's summoning? One summon was already dangerous, but chain summoning could bring something that shouldn't be summoned. He had to kill Shirou before he finished summoning him, but before he could even realize…

"...I will always protect you... Shirou"

The two crimson lights shone brighter than ever, blinding everyone, before Iori's light enveloped Yui, Archer with superhuman speed grabbed Yui and took him away from the area.

"Damn, this is the worst result ever"

The archer in black said.

Two women appeared from the two lights.

On Shirou's side appeared a woman with golden, up-tied hair, silver armor mixed with some kind of blue dress.

On Iori's side appeared a woman with black hair tied up, wearing a black and white kimono and carrying an emerald sword.

"Knowledge Class"

The two women said.

"You are my Master?"

The blonde-haired woman said as she looked at Shirou.

"I guess you're the one who summoned me."

The black-haired woman said as she looked at Iori.

"Hey?"

The two women said at the same time. while they realized the existence of the other.

"Who the hell are you?"

The two Servants looked at each other strangely, they both knew that she was Saber, but the other was also, but they both knew, in this war there should only be one Saber.

Author's notes

We talk again XD. What did you think of this first chapter? Were you expecting Archer instead of a certain psychopathic Milf in armor, but without the Milf? At the beginning I was going to include that crazy girl or Cu for reference, but to make the chapter more interesting I think it was better if it was our Archer, in the same way, I think that someone as pure as Yui makes a good duo with someone as rotten as Archer and they have some compatibility.

I think you can already see it, but for this fic there will be the main Servants from Remnant and Stay Night. Because the Remnant Servants have incomplete profiles and the Stay Night Servants are a bit rusty on the power scale (Thanks FGO) and because according to the lore, everyone except Archer and Lancer would be weaker in Edo by having zero fame , so I decided to adjust the Stay Night ones a little.

Likewise, Shirou will have to adapt to Edo, since he is a VN protagonist and Iori is a Mushou protagonist. That is to say, Shirou is someone weak who becomes strong at the end. Iori is someone strong at the beginning who becomes much stronger at the end. Having Archer actively involved so early will serve to accelerate Shirou's development.

With nothing more to say I say goodbye, see you in the next chapter.
