A teenager with red and black hair along with blue eyes walked through the streets of a city. His name is Nero Fubuki.

He then inspected the surrounding area for any potential danger. His specialty was Transformation Magic.

Transformation Magic was a type of magic that allowed him to turn into inanimate objects, animals or other people. This was ideal for infiltration or surveillance.

With no one suspicious nearby, he left the town.

'I wonder how everyone else is doing.' He thought.

He was part of the Fairy Tail guild, a guild that was infamous in Fiore for destroying stuff when they went on jobs. Unlike most of his guild mates, Nero wasn't provoked that easily. In fact he was somewhat of a jokester.

Returning to the guild hall seemed like a good idea, so he did just that.

When he got back to the Fairy Tail guild hall, a brawl was underway.

'Figures.' This was a common occurrence here.

All things considered, it was a lot better than them destroying a city.

He then went over to the bar and sat down on a stool.

A white-haired woman in a red dress came over and set a glass down in front of him. This is Mirajane Strauss, one of the guild's S-Class mages.

"Hello." She happily greeted him.

'Where's Cana.' He thought.

The two were going to go on a job that involved driving away bandits.

Cana was someone that could easily be found inside the guild hall, as she always had a barrel of alcohol with her.

Sure enough, it didn't take long for Nero to notice her.

He changed into a hawk and perched on her shoulder.

"Where did you come from?" Cana asked the hawk.

The hawk then spread it's wings and flew over to the request board, tearing a paper off it.

It then flew back over to Cana with the paper in it's beak.

"Taking out some bandits, huh?" Cana read the description of the job. "Let's do it."

The hawk screeched before flying over to the doors on the other side of the guild hall. Cana was close behind it.

After they got closer to the client's house, the hawk landed on the ground and changed back into Nero.

"Were you that hawk the whole time?" A surprised Cana asked.

It wasn't long before Nero and Cana reached the client's house.

"What do you need us to do?" Cana asked their client.

"I'd like to discuss this job's reward with you two." The client remarked.

"Your job is to wipe out some bandits." The client explained.

"How tough could they possibly be?" Cana snorted.

"You'd be surprised." The client responded.

"I guess we'll find out. Time for us to get going." Nero commented.

They left the clients house to begin their job.

"Hopefully we don't destroy anything this time." Nero spoke to Cana.

"You worry too much." Cana spoke.

"I have every right to worry." Nero remarked.

"We'll be fine." Cana brushed his concern off.

The two began their search for the bandits.
