Chapter 4: An Offer To A Jerk
One night, Finn, Jake, Mille, Callie, Simon, and Betty were watching wistfully at the lake. Suddenly, waves rippled at the lake in front of them.
"Waves?", Mille asked.
"What's going on here?", Jake asked.
"Usually, these waves are caused by some kind of kinetic activity.", Simon said.
Then, Betty looked up and saw what was going on.
"Hey, guys. Take a look at this.", Betty said.
Everyone else did so and all saw both Donny and Rachel laughing as they were having a sort of match between Grass Ogres.
"Wow, just look at 'em go.", Finn said.
"Headlock!", Donny shouted, lunging and locking Rachel.
"Whoa... You're a quick learner, aren't you?", Rachel asked. "But do you know how to counter this?"
Rachel managed to pick Donny up and lift him off her only for him to get back on her.
"Gaahh! You're really learning!"
"I learned from the best.", Donny responded.
"I see Finn taught you well.", Rachel said.
"Whoa. He actually learned from me.", Finn said.
Donny tightened his grip as Rachel struggled until...
"Okay...! Okay..! You win! I'm tapping out...", Rachel grunted before patting Donny, prompting him to release her.
"Ha! I got you good, didn't I?', Donny asked.
"Yeah...! You did... I guess it's gonna take a while for me to get used to this Grass Ogress body, but hey... Live and learn.", Rachel said before using her tiara to turn back into her normal ice princess form, astonishing Donny.
"Whoa! How'd you do that?!", Donny exclaimed.
"Oh, this? This is my magic tiara. It first gave me some ice powers when I put it on 1,000 years ago.", Rachel responded.
"You mean you're a really old lady?! But you don't look a day over 16 years old.", Donny stated.
"Yeah, it's not too bad. Just ask Marceline the Vampire Queen.", Rachel responded.
"A vampire?!", Donny said in surprise.
"Yep. But she doesn't drink blood. Just the color red. Anyway, not only does my tiara give me my ice powers as ice princess, but apparently, it can also store various mutations that change my body and stabilize them so that my mind doesn't change with it. How else would I be able to do this?", Rachel asked, using her tiara to turn herself as big and large as she was before.
"Well? Go ahead. Feel how soft it is.", Rachel offered.
"Uh... Okay. But no funny business like squishing me.", Donny said.
Then, he put his hand on Rachel's skin, not only feeling how soft it is, but also tickling her, making her giggle.
"Wow. You actually do feel soft. Like a big pillow.", Donny grinned.
"Yep. One of this body's many perks. As for how I got this body, well, long story short, somebody tried to curse me and Finn into random body parts to make us miserable. Finn even wound up being turned into a foot. But the plan didn't do any good for the guy who cursed us, though. I wound up being a belly myself and I actually like it, hence this big body before you. And even better, I could still turn back to normal with my tiara. Otherwise, I mainly use my ice powers. And at times when I'm not wearing the tiara, let's just say I leave nothing to chance.", Rachel said.
"Oooh. How?", Donny asked.
"Well, I'll explain a little bit later. Anyway, since then, Finn and I decided to make a club of our own where we can just let loose. Both figuratively and literally when nothing's going on. I call it, 'The Big Belly Club'.", Rachel said.
Donny then started to laugh in response.
"I get it! It's because your body, right now, has a big belly!", Donny responded.
"Yep. You're not wrong. And we do all sorts of other things, too. Like eating contests, sumo matches.", Rachel responded, stopping Donny in his tracks in surprise.
"Did you say Sumo Matches?", Donny asked.
"Uh, yeah. Why?", Rachel asked.
"It's another type of wrestling. And I LOVE wrestling!", Donny responded.
"Well, not hard to see why what with you beating me just now. Anyway, you wanna join the club?", Rachel asked.
"Eh..., maybe occasionally. I still gotta protect these housies from those Why-wolves the way I know how.", Donny responded.
"Oh. Yeah. So, whenever you're available, then?", Rachel asked.
"Of course.", Donny grinned.
"All right, then. Guess I'll see you later, Donny. I'll let the other members know so they don't get too surprised.", Rachel said as she used her tiara to turn herself back to normal and then fly toward the others with her hair.
"So, how was it?", Finn asked.
"Well, it's safe to say that he's actually pretty good. But me? I'm still green.", Rachel joked.
"Ohhh!", Jake said before he and everyone else laughed.
"Anyway, it's really late out. We should probably all head back.", Finn said.
"After we said goodbye to him, though.", Mille said.
"Yeah. He did help save those house people.", Callie added.
"And it is customary.", Betty said.
"Well, that settles it.", Rachel said before she and everyone waved to him.
"Bye, Donny!", everyone waved.
"See you later, Donny! We'll never forget you!", Rachel said as she ascended up into the air and picked Finn up before the group split in two different ways with most of them headed in one direction.
Donny waved back.
"Catch ya losers later!", Donny waved.
"Wow. Even when he's nice, he's still a jerk.", Mille said.
"Eh, it's all right. As long as it's repelling those why-wolves.", Callie responded.
"Speaking of, who knew you'd turn out to be just as kind-hearted of a jerk as Donny?", Jake asked.
"I still can't believe how vicious you were to those Why-wolves back there.", Finn said.
"Me neither. But at least those house-people are safe. As for sniffing that obnoxygen, in my defense, I couldn't help it. He smelled really nice. Like mints.", Rachel responded as the others were half-way there to the tree fort.
Meanwhile, at another direction, Simon and Betty were both flying in midair with their hair.
"I still can't believe the obnoxygen would have a unique effect on those who breathe in so much of it.", Simon said.
"Who knew? We gotta update the volume of Grass Ogres when we get back.", Betty suggested as she and Simon were very close to the Ice Kingdom.
Then, the words, "ADVENTURE TIME" spun around and stopped at the center with a sword thrusting itself through "TIME" in-between letters.
