We finally entered the factory and found they were making mass produced artificial blades. If they were able to mass produce these. Then Tora's father must be here. And whatever there planning to do with these is not gonna be good. So we got moving after making our way through a vent. We found tora's father being threaten by one of those turkin things. I jumped down behind the turkin and quickly snapped it's neck.
"Who are you!?" tora's father asked.
"Just a friend of your son." i replied as tora jumped jumped behind me. I got out of the way and let the two have their heartfelt reunion. Mythra was getting teary eyed at the tora's reunion with his father. I quickly wiped away her tears.
"thanks…" mythra said blushing.
"You're cute when you blush." i said. Earning me a slug to the arm. She turned away pouting as i laughed.
"Who all these people?" tora's father asked.
"They tora's sidekicks i mean sidek-i mean new friends." tora said.
"Wonderful. They come here for you? You have good friends…oh! That artificial blade!" tora's father said. Noticing poppi.
"This is poppi! Tora make her by improving on blueprints for lila!" tora proudly said as he introduced his work.
"Meh meh…most impressive. Tora must have worked hard!" tora's father yelled. Being proud of his son. I noticed milton looking on to the side.
"I know you two have a lot of catching up to do. But we can do that when we're not in the middle of enemy territory." milton said.
"He's right. We should grab tora's father and leave." jin said.
"Not so fast intruders!" a familiar voice yelled. We turned around to see muimui with a bunch of trirkin.
"Muimui…you treacherous little vermin." i said. My rage beginning to boil.
"Say what you will. Muimui give you information on purpose to lure you to factory. If we not want you here. You would not find this place so easily!" muimui proudly announced.
"Meh meh…how dare you!" tora yelled as he drew his weapon.
"masterpon is really angry." poppi said.
"It's not a surprise poppi…after all. Tora lost his father and grandpa thanks to this little backstabbing bastard. So why did you lure us here you treacherous little furball!?" i yelled. Muimui's attention was soon turned to poppi.
"Meh…finally i have chance to seize precious artificial blade. Now take care of these intruders!" muimui yelled. I could tell my hair was glowing as my blood boiled. Never i thought i'd be getting angry for tora. But this blue fuzzy snake took his grandpa. His father. And now he wants tora's greatest work and friend!? This little bastard has taken enough from tora. So now it's time i start taking from him. And what better place to start than with his life? I summoned my ion detonator and fired. The grenade disintegrated the turkish. But the stubby little turd managed to get out of the way in time. Only to run face first into me. I grabbed him by his stupid hair and pulled him up.
"Meh meh! Let go! Let go!" muimui yelled as he tried to break from my grip.
"You took tora's grandpa. His father. And their greatest work. Now you want his greatest work and best friend!? You are not taking anything else from Tora, you little backstabbing rat!" I yelled. I then summoned my sword. "The deepest circle of hell is waiting for you, traitor." i said. Muimui tried desperately to escape my grasp and run. But to no avail. As i ran him through.
"Meh…meh…" muimui said as life left his eyes. His lifeless corpse fell to the ground as i pulled out my sword.
"Never make blue haired friend of tora angry." tora's father said.
"Dammit kaku! We can't get info from him now!" nia yelled. I looked at her with an raised eyebrow.
"Do you really think he's the head honcho of this gig?" i asked.
"What kaku-kaku mean?" tora asked. I looked at the window.
"Rex. you said that tora needed 60.000 gold just to get what he needed to finish poppi right?" i asked.
"Well…yeah." rex replied.
"Where are you going with this?" lora asked.
"Where i'm going is that this is not a cheap endeavor. Making artificial blades. Even mass produced ones not of the quality of lila or poppi are not cheap to make. They require materials. And that material costs gold….and i doubt muimui just had a mountain of gold for this endeavor buried somewhere. Someone had to put a lot of money into this. And there's only one person that could have that kind of cash…and rex should know who that is." i said. Rex looked at me in confusion.
"I do?" rex asked.
"Come on rex. He's the fat nopon who has massive greed and little regard for those that are not him. And he proved that by sending you and other salvagers on a mission knowing full well that malos was going to kill you. After all. If you all died it means he wouldn't have to pay you that other 100.000 he promised." i said. Our train of thought was interrupted by the sound of a door opening.
"Meh meh! Bana don't appreciate slander!" bana yelled as he entered the room by the door on the higher floor. Alongside lila.
"It's not slander if it's the truth. You greedy parasite! Your just a big baby that doesn't like to hear the truth!" i yelled. He then saw muimui's corpse.
"You just as violent as i heard. Berserker of torna." bana said.
"You should see what i did to your office. Or don't. You're not getting poppi or the aegis! As a matter of fact. You aren't leaving here alive. You're going to pay for your greed in blood!" i yelled as pointed my sword at him.
"Y-you don't scare me berserker! Lila capture artificial blade and aegis. And kill berserker. Once i make a moutain of cash. I'll feed on mushy mushrooms for life." bana announced as he ran away, leaving lila to face us alone.
"Mission acknowledged. Commencing combat." lila came at me lighting fast. But i grabbed her fist. And ripped out a piece of technology from her chest. And crushed it.
"Professor tatazo..,masterpon…lila sorry…" lila said as she finally regained control of herself.
"Lila!?" professor tatazo yelled as he ran over to his artificial blade.
"How did kaku-kaku know?" tora asked.
"Simple…both her and poppi maybe artificial blades…but i can tell that somehow within those metal bodies made from nopon knowledge. That a soul found its way into those shells. And i could tell that lila's actions were not what her soul wanted. That it was imprisoned. Not allowed to be free like poppi's was. But now her soul is once again free." i said. I noticed poppi holding her sister in her arms. Tora and tatazo joining in on the hug as well. "We should leave them be for now…come on. We got a greedy nopon to skin." i said. Everyone hesitated but agreed. After making our way through the factory. We soon found herself staring down a giant chibi lila
"What the hell is that!?" nia asked. We all heard a familiar laugh coming from the head of the thing.
"How you like that!? This is secret weapon based on blueprints of lila…gigantic artificial blade: rosa!" bana proudly announced.
"This is too ridiculous for words. Come on!" rex yelled. Before the fight could begin. Rosa got knocked down by a flying poppi. Who was glowing.
"Nice to see you two joined in the fight." i said with a grin.
"This energy is incredible!" mythra yelled. Amazed by the new power.
"Thanks to my sister lila." poppi announced. It seemed that in an act to redeem herself. Lila used her power to ignite poppi's dormant ether furnace.
"Now poppi! Showed them your true power!" tora yelled.
"Roger that masterpon!" poppi yelled as a orb of red cloth surrounded her and bursted into flames. It faded to reveal a taller poppi with pigtails and a maid outfit...i would have sighed if i didn't know this form packed more of a punch. Both figuratively and literally. As this form came with weapons akin to knuckle claws instead of the drill shield poppi's normal form provides. And poppi's newfound strength she easily brought down rosa. We didn't even need to get involved.
"Hah! Justice always prevail!" tora proudly announced.
"Masterpon. That enough gloating now." poppi said.
"Nah. let him have this poppi. After all. It was this greedy son of a bitch that was responsible for tora losing his family." i said. Poppi looked at rosa with sad eyes.
"Now maybe you won't be used for bad things any more." poppi said. I noticed bana crawling out of the pilot seat of rosa and making a run for it.
"Get back here you greedy little furball!" i yelled as i ran after him he reached the dock and turned around. Only to get my sword through his fat gut.
"I could have made you…very rich man." bana said as blood came down his mouth.
"Keep your dirty money…the world has one less greedy parasite in it. And that's more than enough for me." i said as i pulled out my sword. Bana fell on his back. A puddle of blood formed under him. Signaling he was dead. The rest soon caught up.
"Was that really necessary?" lora asked.
"This nopon would start a war if it meant he would profit off it…he will not be missed." i said coldly.
"That's a rather dark way of looking at it." nia said.
"But he's not wrong…that nopon's heart was blackened by greed. There's no telling what he would have done for more gold later…i'd say kaku made the right choice." jin said. Lora put her hands to her heart.
"Is this violence really necessary?" lora asked.
"There are people you can reason with words. But there are those you can only reason with a sword. I'll leave the people that can be reasoned with words to you. And those who can only be reasoned with a sword can be left to me." i said. Lora nodded. I can tell she wasn't a fan of my way of thinking but she understood that I was right.
"Dammit and there goes our source of artificial blades…must you always interfere?" a familiar female voice said. We turned around to see patroka…and.
"Mikhail…" milton said.
"Milton long time no see! Or do you prefer kaku?" mikhail asked.
"Nope. no reason to go by that name anymore. Considering the real berserker of torna is back isn't that right kaku?" milton asked with a smug grin. I stepped forward. Mikhail stepped back in shock.
"K-k-kaku!? Why didn't you tell me he was back!?" mikhail yelled at patroka. Who just closed her eyes in annoyance.
"If we did. You would have chickened out of any missions." patroka said annoyed. Before looking back at me. "Ready for round two berserker?" she asked. I readied my sword of the wasteland and aegis sword.
"This time. You will not leave here alive bitch." i said. She readied her cannon. Her eyes filled with rage.
"No one calls me bitch!"patroka yelled as she opened fire on me. It was a repeat of the same fight i had on the ship. After cutting off the arm of patroka's that held the mega lance. I picked it up and threw it at her. Which she managed to block with her cannon but the force was enough to knock her flat on her ass. Mikhail came at me with the gauntlets of his blade. He held my arms preventing me from moving. I knew patroka was lining up a shot. Unfortunately for little mik. He apparently didn't know that i had no problem with fighting dirty. As i raised my foot. And aimed it straight for mik's crotch who soon screamed in pain as he fell to the ground gripping his crotch. I heard every guy in the room cringe with pain.
"That was…dirty…oh, i can't breath." mikhail said still in a world of pain.
"Guess lora never told you…I have no qualms with fighting dirty." i said with a grin.
"Oh…damn that's gotta hurt!" rex said.
"Tora felt that in soul!" tora said.
"Ouch…" jin said cringing. I deflected the charge shot that was aimed at my back.
"Oh for…don't be such a baby mik! It's just a kick in the nuts!" patroka yelled.
"Easy for you to say…you don't have…nuts." mikhail said as he hopped around like a moron trying to relief the pain. After taking deep breath. "Lucky shot kaku." mikhail said trying to look cool after that embarrassing display…it didn't work.
"Kaku…i'm ready." mythra said.
"Sacred arrow?" i asked. mythra nodded. "I appreciate your willingness to put these chumps down. But I'd rather not bury us." i said.
"I've analyzed the structural integrity. It should survive one blow. But we'll need to do it under that crane. Anywhere else is too risky." mythra said.
"That's the plan. Force the idiots under the crane then rain some hell on them." i said. The two charged at us only to be stopped by familiar blue flames.
"Nice to see you join the party morag." i said with a smile.
"I see you killed the chairman of the trading guild." morag said.
"He was a greedy parasite that would sell his soul to the devil if it meant more money. I say good riddance." i said.
"Can't argue that…how about channeling some of that rage at these two?" morag asked.
"No need. Already got a plan. I need you and rex to force them by that crane. Afterwards. Well leave the rest to mythra." i said. And sure enough the combined burning fire of both morag and pyra managed to force the two back and surrounding the two in flames. Making it like shooting fish in a barrel for mythra's sacred arrow. As mythra was high up in the air.
"S-she's beautiful." mikhail said.
"Thanks for stating what i was already aware of mik…now die!" i yelled as mythra's sacred arrow came down. Mik and patroka were still standing. But their blades soon disappeared, their powerless core crystals hitting the ground.
"Why…why you! You pieces of trash! How dare you destroy my beloved weapon!? I'll tear you all to pieces! I'll slaughter you all! I'll shred you where you stand!" patroka a fearsome red aura came from her. But it didn't matter as i powered through the burning red aura and stabbed her in the stomach with my sword of the wasteland.
"Shut your mouth bitch!" i yelled as i pulled out my sword i then drew the aegis sword and cut off her arms then slashing her head off. Her body disappeared as a core crystal fell to the ground.
"Patroka!" mikhail yelled. We all turned towards him. Knowing he lost. He made a run for it and hopped on a boat. The same one they used to escape that ship where me and mythra first woke up.
"The monoceros! It was right there!?" nia yelled. The ship soon got away. I notice that rex picked up the core crystals.
"What should we do with these?" rex asked.
"The core crystal of their blades? I say we keep. The core crystal of the bitch? Smash it!" i yelled.
"Now wait a minute kaku. Patroka is a very powerful blade. She could come in handy in your words." lora said.
"Yeah…but is her power really worth dealing with her nasty personality?" i asked.
"Like your one to talk…" nia said under her breath.
"Speaking of patroka…a bit overkill don't you think?" morag about the way i killed her. I glared at her.
"No one calls me trash!" i yelled. After that. Morag made sure that the factory was shut down. I'm feeling quite happy right now…tora got to meet his father again. His family's work isn't being used for evil anymore…and i got to slay another pf malo's buddies…when we get back to mor ardain. I'm taking another dip in the hot springs to celebrate!
