~In the Morning~*No One's POV*

I woke up when I felt some shake my shoulder.

"Johan, get up." I heard Nas said. 'I guess it wasn't a dream.' I thought as I sat up. I felt my wolf ears and tail twitching as I did. I looked out the window and saw that the sun had just started rising.

"But it's a bit too early." I said to him.

The Elemental Wolf then jumped off my bed. "I will explain as soon as you arrive in the courtyard." He said before leaping out of my window.

I sighed before I got out of bed and got dressed. Once I was finished, I left my room and headed towards the courtyard. As I did, I saw that the people I knew my whole life seemed...afraid of me. 'They must remember when Peewee was turned into a werewolf. But just because I'm a werewolf doesn't mean I'm like that.' I thought as I continued to walk towards the courtyard. My ears slightly went down a bit as I heard everyone whispering about me. And nothing they said was nice.

As I stepped out into the courtyard I saw that Ember, Nas, and Coral were all there. As well as Peewee, looking a bit tired. I slightly smiled at the sight of my best friend.

"*yawn*Can you explain to us why we're out here so late?" Peewee asked the three winged wolves. "Well, last night, we forgot to mention that we have two days to train Johan to learn how to use his werewolf powers so he can face off against Eowyn. And that's not including the week-long boat ride from here to Cedia." Ember explained.

"What!?" Peewee said.

"And the fact that we need to teach him about the strengths and weaknesses all the monsters at Cedia has since some of them willingly joined Eowyn and are now traitors doesn't help the fact." Coral added, which didn't help calm Peewee down.

"Yes, that is correct Coral! Now let's get to work!" Nas said as he led us to a part of the courtyard that had training equipment I've never seen before.

"Okay! First off, teaching you to turn into your wolf form." Nas said as he stopped in front of me. I saw that Ember, Coral, and Peewee were sitting on the sidelines. "Oh yeah. You said that all werewolves can turn into actual wolves." Peewee said as he sat down between Ember and Coral. "It's usually the job of someone from the learning werewolf's family to teach them. But considering..." He didn't finish what he was going to say. But we can all tell what he was going to say. "But don't worry. We Elemental Wolves have been trained to help the citizens of Cedia in any way we can, including situations like this." He said before spreading his wings.

"Alright. All you have to do is focus." Nas said to me.

I was confused. "I just have to focus?" I asked him. The white and blue Elemental Wolf nodded his head. "You have to focus on turning into a wolf version of yourself. It may not happen at first, but it will as long as you focus." Nas explained to me. Nodding in understanding, I took a deep breath and focused on turning into a black wolf with hazel brown eyes.

I tried until the sun was all the way up in the sky, but nothing. "Does it usually take this long?" Peewee asked, bored when nothing happened after my hundredth try. "No. Usually werewolves that are new to turning into wolves get after ten tries, at the most." Ember explained to him. "Unless Johan's one of those special cases. A few of his ancestors were." Coral said.

"'Special case'? What's that?" Peewee asked the three winged wolves. "It's when a were can only shape-shift for the first time when in a dire situation. And then they'll be able to do it whenever they want afterwards." Nas explained to me.

"Um... What kind of dire situations?" I asked him.

"Mainly if you or someone you care about is in danger. The usual." Ember explained. The black and red wolf stood in front of me as Nas went to sit down beside Peewee. "Okay. Since the shape-shifting part of the training didn't work, it's time for combat training." He said excitedly, his tail wagging.

~30 minutes later~*No One's POV*

Johan was resting in the shade now that he can finally take a break after all that training Ember put him through. 'And he's the most relaxed of the group?' He thought as he sighed from exhaustion. Not just from the training, but from learning what element Ember controls the hard way: fire. Because of Ember's fire attacks, Johan had to change his clothes. "I guess I should have guessed that since his name in Ember." He silently said.

He sat up and rolled up his sleeves to see that the burn marks he got from Ember were almost completely healed. 'Good thing werewolves have super healing.' Johan thought.

It was then that his werewolf sense of smell picked up Savina's sent close by. "Hello Princess." He said to her, keeping tail from ragging to show how happy he was to see her. True, their status was similar, Johan was a prince and Savina a princess, but Johan was worried for her. He didn't know how anyone would feel about a relationship between a human and a supernatural creature, a werewolf like Johan for example. And Johan was worried if that might endanger Savina.

"Peewee told me what happened. Are you okay?" She asked him.

"I'm fine Princess. Werewolves have super healing, so my burn marks are almost completely healed." He explained to her, showing his healing burn marks.

"It does explain how you weren't down for long. Especially after..." She stopped talking before she reminded Johan that two of Balthazar's men tried to kill him by pushing him off a cliff. "Maybe my werewolf heritage wasn't completely dormant all these years." He said before his werewolf hearing picked up what some people were saying about him, not realizing he can hear them. He frowned at what he heard.

"Johan? Are you alright?" Savina asked him when his ears went down in sadness.

"I heard people saying how scared they were of me." He explained to her. "Savina, what if everyone in the kingdom is scared of me?"

"Johan, you know that's not true." Savina explained to him. "Savina, you were here Peewee was turned into a werewolf until Papa Smurf cured him. You didn't see how he acted towards everyone, even me, his best friend. I don't blame them for being scared of werewolves. I was scared I would act like that last night when the moon rose last night." Johan explained to her.

They kept on talking for a few minutes, with Savina trying to calm him down, when Coral flew towards them. "Johan! Time for more training." She said.

Getting up, Johan and Savina went to the training area the Elemantal Wolves had set up.

Johan hoped that it won't be a repeat of when he trained with Ember.
