The course was a black and white arena with a paper-styled background. Dimentio began doing warm-up stretches when Captain Falcon walked to him.

He held out his closed fist. "Get ready to show me your moves! Ready to start?"

Dimentio looked at his hand, then copied the way his hand was out. When he did, Captain Falcon tapped his closed fist against his.

"Great!"

With no hesitation, Captain Falcon slammed his fist into Dimentio's gut and punched him upwards.

"Oh yeah!" Sora called from the large screen out in front of the battle arena. "You don't have items in this fight, so you have to use what you got!"

"I believe in you!" Olly called, waving.

Dimentio stopped himself on the platform above him and kicked off it. He flipped himself around and went for a kick to the head. Captain Falcon grabbed his ankle and slammed him into the floor. Dimentio recovered and tripped him. He then grabbed Captain Falcon's face and kneed his gut in return.

"How do you like it, huh?" He tossed him into the floor.

Captain Falcon got stuck in the ground, upside down. Dimentio took that chance to land a few more hits on him before he got his head out and punched him again.

"Dimentio takes another hit!" Master Hand said from the sky box.

"He's taking those punches like they're nothing!" Crazy Hand cheered. "Go, Dimentio!"

"Hah! They are trying to make me get a big ego," Dimentio said.

"You don't have one already?" Captain Falcon asked. "You did seem kind of braggy earlier today."

"Confidence is better than ego, Captain! You should know that by now!"

"You're doing better than your round with Wii Fit! Your practice really payed off!" He grabbed Dimentio again, this time by the face. "Show me your moves!"

He let go of Dimentio, who was stunned for a second. He then landed a near-finishing punch to Dimentio's face, shattering his mask. Dimentio almost flew off the edge, but grabbed the the end at the last second. He pulled himself up and kicked Captain Falcon down.

"Dimentio's almost dead!" Crazy Hand narrated excitedly. "Captain Falcon is sure to win this fight now!"

Dimentio picked up a piece of his mask.

"Sorry about your mask. I didn't mean to break it."

"You shattered my mask..." He cracked his knuckles. "So now...Ahaha...Now I am going to shatter you."

"What?"

Dimentio kicked him over and grabbed him again. He kneed him twice and tossed him directly off the edge. He teleported the pieces of his mask to him.

Master Hand stayed silent for a minute. "D-Dimentio won...? Hooray?"

Olly came quickly to him, holding the roll of tape again.

"I can fix it, Dimentio! Don't worry, it shouldn't take long."

Dimentio ran his hand through his hair. "Ahahahaha! Why do I even wear that mask?"

"Dimentio? Is this one of your...insanity spirals again?" Olly flinched away from him.

"Let me think back...At first I was afraid of my own face...and then I suppose it became part of my aesthetic. But why was I so attached to it?"

Olly flew in front of him. "Maybe you hid behind the mask for so long, that it became part of your identity?"

"Perhaps..."

Olly put a piece of tape on two pieces. "There we go. I told you I can fix it if you want."

Dimentio fixed his hair and pulled his hat back down. "It is alright, Olly. It is about time I made a new one..."

Captain Falcon came over, looking a little upset. "I'm really sorry about your mask, Dimentio. If I'd known how important it was to you, I probably would have been more careful."

"It is not a bother, really! I suppose I have been a little...'secretive' for far too long. Perhaps my mask being destroyed was supposed to help me in some way. But for now..."

He taped it back together the best he could, put it back on, then faced Captain Falcon, fist raised.

"Nice moves, Captain."

Captain Falcon happily bumped his fist. "Nice! You learn fast!"

"Only from the best. Perhaps I could do with being less...aggressive to people I am not familiar with. Starting from now, I am actually going to try and be friendly."

"That's good!" Olly smiled. "I know this may seem rude, and I've been putting it off until now but...It took you long enough! I thought for sure that Izuku helped you with that!"

"He showed me how, but I never really understood the reason for being friendly until now." He smiled at Captain Falcon.

"You're pretty good!" He gave Dimentio a thumbs-up. "Keep that up, and Sephiroth might be in trouble!"

"I...would not be so sure. I could not even beat Olly, let alone Sephiroth."

"True, not even Cloud could beat him yet. But, you are pretty likely to get close, so...good luck!"

Dimentio was in a good mood the rest of the day.

Olly and Sora had to battle, and Olly was declaired the winner. But, they had found turtles in the arena they battled in, and snuck them to the lobby.

Olly held up his turtle to Dimentio as he tried to take a drink of water. "I named mine Koopy Koopy! His first and last name is Koopy!"

"Okay..."

Sora poked his head over Olly, holding his own turtle. "I named my turtle Kairi! We're going to race them! Wanna watch?"

"Sure." Dimentio put his water bottle down. "I shall pleasure myself with the racing of slow animals. If that so pleasures you, that is."

"Sure it does!"

Olly nodded. "Yeah! Plus, turtles can go pretty fast! Watch!"

Olly flew more towards the middle of the lobby, and Sora went to his left side, both holding their turtles.

"Who do you think will win?" Olly asked Dimentio.

"Hm..." He pointed towards Sora. "I think Kairi will win."

Olly gasped. "Aww, come on! Not Koopy Koopy?!"

Dimentio smirked. "Olly, you should know me by now. I love bets and games. I have been to enough racing bets to know just by eye which animal is sure to win."

Olly gave a pouty look. "Come on, Koopy Koopy. You have to win this one for me to prove Dimentio wrong. You've got this!"

They both released their turtles. Kairi stared up at Sora for a minute. Sora gently pushed her forwards a bit. Koopy Koopy did run, but in the opposite direction.

"Koopy Koopy, wait! That's the wrong way!"

Kairi walked towards the finish line, which was just a piece of colored tape on the floor.

Olly picked up Koopy Koopy and turned him around. "Go, Koopy Koopy! Win this for daddy!"

Sora gave him a weird look.

Koopy Koopy ran towards the finish line, but Kairi managed to cross it first.

Olly fell to the floor. "Nooooo! I was so close!"

Dimentio laughed. "I told you so!"

Koopy Koopy three-sixtied and ran towards Olly.

"Aah! Wait, not me!" He quickly got off the ground.

Koopy Koopy continued to the lobby doors. He hit somebody on his way out, knocking both of them over.

"Aah! I'm so sorry!" He picked up Koopy Koopy and pointed at the turtle. "Bad turtle! You need to control that speed demon side of yours!"

Sora helped the person stand. "You okay? Koopy Koopy got too into the racing spirit, sorry!"

The person was surprisingly tall, with a white cloak with an orange-to-pink-to-blue gradient covering most of the white. He fixed his white top hat and monocle.

"Top hat!" Sora pointed at the hat. "Can I wear it? Please?"

He took off his hat and handed it to Sora.

Sora put it on. "How do I look?"

Dimentio chocked on his water.

Olly smiled. "You look good! But the white clashes with the rest. Maybe if it were black, red, or yellow, so it could match the rest of your outfit..."

Sora handed the hat back. "Here you go! I've always wanted to wear a top hat."

Dimentio started coughing.

Olly faced him. "Are you...are you okay?"

A woman entered after the man in white. She too, wore white, her outfit being a dress. The bow around her waist was a reflective fabric. Her hair was long and white.

Olly faced back to them, and examined them both. The man was blue, white gloves covering his floating hands. She was a fair skinned, and quite beautiful lady.

"Oh, is she your wife or something?"

The man nodded. "Yes, she is. You must be King Olly. You fit the description perfectly. Besides your outfit, anyhow. It's a slight bit different than the way Nastasia described you..."

Olly blinked. "Should I...know who you are?"

"I came here to watch the matches. Timpani decided to come with me."

"Timpani? I think I remember that name being mentioned by-" Olly jolted. "Wait, you're Blumiere, right?! Wow, you look a lot different than I expected!"

Blumiere looked unsure weather to take that as a compliment or an insult.

Dimentio finally stopped choking on his water. "Why did you touch his hat, you vermin?!"

He teleported in front of Sora, pointing a clawed finger at him. Sora flinched back, hands up.

"He handed it to me?!" Sora stammered.

Dimentio turned around and put his hand down. He tucked his hands into his poncho. "Blumiere."

"Dimentio." He said sternly.

Sora saw Dimentio flinch when Blumiere held up his hand, then noticed Dimentio's eyes widened when he playfully ruffled Dimentio's hat.

"Good to see you again, Dimentio."

"Wh-wha-eh? Huh?!"

Timpani moved a little closer to Blumiere. "Are you sure we can trust him? He did...betray you, after all..."

"Nastasia has never been wrong before." He smiled.

Dimentio fixed his hat. "But...I betrayed you? And you treat me so kindly? I tried to kill you!"

"If I can change, you can change."

Sora held out his hand. "I'm Sora! I'm Dimentio's roommate!"

Blumiere shook it.

Link bowed. "I'm Link, his other roommate."

Blumiere bowed back, and Timpani curtsied.

"So, tell me about your 'roommates,' Dimentio." He turned to face the jester.

"Um..." Dimentio grabbed the ends of his hat. "They are both heroes...if you were wondering."

"So you two are keeping an...eye on him?" Timpani asked.

Sora and Link nodded.

"So he is in good hands!" Blumiere beamed. "Say, did we miss the battles?"

They nodded again.

Timpani and Blumiere shared a look. "Oh."

"But you can come back tomorrow!" Olly said. "There's more battles then!"

"Sorry, no," Joker corrected. "We don't have battles on weekends, tourney or not. Master Hand said it's because we deserve a break."

"You can come back on Monday!"

"The people who come to watch can still stop by on the weekends, Shokunin."

"Oh."

"Maybe...I should get Master Hand to print a schedule for us or something," Timpani said.

Dimentio let go of his hat when Blumiere smiled at him one more time as he left. "Blumiere..."
