(Harold is knocking on Arnold's door)
Arnold: (opening the door) "Hey, Harold! What's up?"
Harold: (excitedly) "Hey, Arnold! My parents won't let me watch Beavis and Butt-Head, so I was wondering if I could come over and watch it at your house?"
Arnold: (sighing) "I don't really care for that show, Harold..."
Harold: (persistently) "Come on, Arnold! Just this once! Please?"
Arnold: (reluctantly) "Okay, fine. But just for a little while."
(They sit down on the couch and start watching Beavis and Butt-Head)
Arnold: (unimpressed) "I don't get why you like this show so much, Harold..."
Harold: (laughing) "It's so funny! Beavis and Butt-Head are hilarious!"
(Just then, Grandpa Phil and Grandma Gertrude walk into the room)
Grandpa Phil: (sternly) "What's going on here? What's this nonsense you're watching?"
Harold: (nervously) "Uh, it's just...uh...a cartoon, Grandpa Phil..."
Grandpa Phil: (surprisingly) "A cartoon? Ha! This is the most hilarious thing I've ever seen! Beavis and Butt-Head, ha! I love it!"
Grandma Gertrude: (shaking her head) "Phil, you're not supposed to be encouraging this..."
Grandpa Phil: (laughing) "Encouraging it? I'm embracing it! You know, when I was a young man, I used to pull off some pretty crazy stunts myself. And these two knuckleheads remind me of me and my buddies back in the day!"
Arnold: (confused) "Grandpa Phil, what exactly do you find funny about this show?"
Grandpa Phil: (chuckling) "Well, Arnold, it's the absurdity of it all! These two dimwits trying to be cool and failing miserably... it's like looking into a mirror! (laughs) And their antics? Oh boy, it's like they're trying to outdo me and my friends from back in the day! (laughs some more)"
Grandma Gertrude: (rolling her eyes) "Phil, you're not helping..."
Grandpa Phil: (winking) "Hey, I'm just enjoying the show, dear! And these two goofballs are the best entertainment I've seen in a long time! (laughing) And the way they make fun of music videos? Genius! I remember doing the same thing with my friends back in the day, making fun of the silly music videos on TV."
Arnold: (confused) "Grandpa Phil, music videos didn't even exist when you were growing up..."
Grandpa Phil: (pausing, looking sheepish) "Oh... uh... well, I meant... uh... silent films! Yes, that's it! We used to make fun of the silly silent films we'd watch at the picture show!"
Harold: (excitedly) "See, Arnold? Even Grandpa Phil gets it!"
Arnold: (sighing) "I think I'm going to go outside and play some baseball, Harold. You can stay and watch your show..."
Grandpa Phil: (laughing) "Oh, no, no, no! You can't leave now, Arnold! The best part is just starting! (points to the TV) Oh, look! Beavis and Butt-Head are trying to score with some girls at the mall!"
(Arnold rolls his eyes and walks out of the room, shaking his head)
Grandma Gertrude: (shaking her head) "Phil, you're corrupting that poor boy..."
Grandpa Phil: (laughing) "Corrupting him? Ha! I'm just showing him the finer points of American culture!"
(The scene ends with Grandpa Phil and Harold laughing and watching the show, while Arnold walks out of the room, looking unimpressed)
