First things first! guys, I'm really sorry for the long as hell delay, the app is still not cooperating and work had been hell since there's a holiday in Monday and the boss wanted to get as much work done as possible, it really has been really exhausting at work.

I really hope all the issues with the app and website get fixed soon, it really hard to write and upload stories for a lot of people, not just me.

Chapter 97.

Four more days passed by since Kunou, Wiene and I had started keeping an eye on the growing army of Risen gathering in Plegia's desert, by the time those four days passed by, over 10 million Risen had appeared and they didn't seem to be stopping either.

Seeing this made me realize why Grima had been so quite lately, the Fell Dragon had been putting all of its resources and efforts in finding more materials for its army, to the point that it had grown this big.

To anyone else, this great number of enemies to face would have been daunting to face, but for us? well, we're more that ready for this battle, Grima might think it has the advantage with its massive undead army.

But we are fully prepared and most of all, ready to face anything that Fell Dragon can throw at us, it's time to finally show what we're capable of.

So after the fourth day ended, Wiene, Kunou, my Pokémon and I, left Plegia and went back to Ylisse, it was time for our attack to begin and for the war to finally kick off.

Plegia Desert, Forgotten Fortress, Grima's Base.

The desert had been quiet all morning in the eight day since the allied forces decided to bring the war to Grima, the desert as usual had been desolate and still, only the sounds of Risen moving about the Fortress could be somewhat heard despite the howling wind being very loud.

That is, until the very familiar sound of Teleportion Circles activating went off, lighting up the desert in a bright blue light, the Risen immediately went on alert and look towards the Magic Circles, only to roar as the allied armies appeared.

The allied armies instantly roared in response and began to stomp on the ground loudly, the Risen grew more agitated and aggressive at getting challenged like that, though they we're also surprised that they were ambushed like this.

Grima's base, Grima's throne.

Grima had just arrived on her base to take a look at all the preparations made for her attack, when she suddenly felt a surge of Mana coming from outside, this surprised her a bit but not enough for her to actually show it, instead, Grima just hummed in amusement.

Risen Validar suddenly stepped into Grima's Throne room and immediately bowed in front of her, "my lady... we have been ambushed...".

Grima smiled and nodded, "so it would seem, I'm not really surprised they found us, but I am at the fact that they decided to strike first.

It seems like their constant victories have made the too brave for their own good, I doubt they know how many more Risen we have at our disposal".

Risen Validar nodded, "orders?...".

Grima grinned at the Risen version of Validar, she quite like this version of him, much more than the original, who would waste a lot time speaking on none consequential things, "prepare for battle, if they came looking for a fight, then let's give them one!".

Validar nodded and then suddenly melted onto the ground and vanished, Grima continued to grin and then stood up from her throne, "might as well prepare, it's time I put an end to these arrogant humans".

Meanwhile, within the allied armies.

Sona was up onto the sky taking a look at the battle field and the Risen who were beginning to move, she frowned and pushed her glasses up her nose as she noticed that, "they're moving now... looks like they're taking orders so...".

Rias who was besides her taking a look as well, nodded since she herself realized what Sona just did, "Grima is here as well, what a coincidence".

Sona nodded, "yes, Rean and his daughters spent a week here and the Fell Dragon never showed up, but we attack and it just happens to be here at the same time... Rean was right, in real battle you never know what could happen".

Rias frowned and nodded in agreement, she looked down and watched the allied armies get ready in response to the Risen's movements, "... I'm so jealous that Rean is your teacher, I bet he taught you all kinds of tactics and skills".

Sona sweatdropped and shivered a bit as she remembered the teaching method of her sensei, "... he taught us to survive...".

Rias noticed the pale face on her friend and wisely decided to ignore it, "we should contact Robin, he needs to know that Grima might be here".

Sona nodded and immediately pulled out her Smartphone and made a call to Robin.

Below, within the allied armies, Frontline.

Robin had been looking at the movement within the enemy base when he got a phone call, he quickly took his Smartphone out of one of his coat's pockets and answered the call, "... I see, thank you Sona.

You can go back to the backline and begin issuing orders, keep me posted in any changes as well".

With that said and after hearing an okay from Sona, Robin hanged up and looked towards the enemy base with a frown, "so Grima finally showed its face...".

Robin kept looking at the base for a few more seconds, before turning around and walking back towards the Shepherds, the first and second generation were waiting for him behind him.

Within allied armies, First Strike Force squad.

Robin rejoined his friends and immediately informed them of Grima's possible appearance, these news did surprised a few but not as much, Chrom sighed and nodded to Robin, "I see... well Rean did tell us that there was a big chance that Grima would be here".

Sumia looked over to her husband and then said, "yeah, he did say that by the time he left here, the Risen seemed about done with their preparations, it makes sense for the Fell Dragon to come here and maybe check things out or something".

Lucina nodded, "which is why we decided to attack today, a day after Rean came back, but to think that Grima would actually show up...".

Lucina looked a bit nervous, anxious even, not only her, but everyone in the Second Generation of the Shepherds seemed rather nervous as well, but no one could blame them in this situation.

Unlike everyone else present, Lucina and her friends had faced Grima before and barely escaped with their lives, they had lost so much to the Fell Dragon, that's its only natural that they were feeling nervous despite all the preparation that they had done.

I knew all of this and it really made me feel bad for Lucina and her friends, honestly, it's a miracle they came out sane after everything they have gone through, so hoping to calm Lucina and everyone else a bit, I walked over to her and put my hand on her shoulder, "it's fine Lucina, things are different now.

It doesn't matter that Grima is here, it just means we can finish this today once and for all".

Lucina looked up and stared into my eyes, something she's been doing more often now, it's kinda odd, maybe she thinks they're pretty? I mean, Serafall says they look awesome because they're all shiny and purple.

Lucina blushed an a bit but nodded and then gave me a smile, a still somewhat nervous one, but also filled with determination, I smiled back and gave her a nod, I then took a look around and checked on the rest of the Second Generation of the Shepherds.

To my relief they seem to have calm down a bit as well, meanwhile, Sumia and Lissa shared a look when they noticed Lucina's odd behavior, Lissa then grinned at Sumia which was then returned with another grin by the Queen of Ylisse, looks like these two royal girls are plotting something.

Robin suddenly stepped up to me and then called out my name, "Rean?".

I immediately turned my head towards Robin and gave him a nod, "I'm ready whenever you command".

Robin closed his eyes and gave me a small nod, he then turned his body to face everyone in what we call now, the First Strike Force Squad.

A squad made of the First and Second Generation of the Shepherds, along with me and the girls, we're the ones who will be heading straight to Grima, while the rest of the allied armies face off and take care of the Risen Army.

Robin then opened his eyes and began to speak, "alright everyone, the time we have been preparing for is finaly here.

As soon as Rean seals the entire Battlefield we attack, Grima won't be able to get more reinforcements into the Battlefield and it won't be able to escape, we'll go straight to the Fell Dragon and take it down!".

Everyone nodded and clenched their fists ready for the battle to come, they all have been preparing for this day and now that it was here, most felt ready, excited but most of all, fired up to cause some damage.

It seems like Rean has influenced everyone far more that he would have ever thought possible, not that he knew nor noticed.

Robin turned his head towards me and then said, "we're ready, do it Rean".

I nodded to Robin and raised a hand, I concentrated on my Domains over, Time, Space and Antimatter and combine them with just a small flicker of my Stardust energy.

This will make sure that the barrier I'm about to place can not be destroyed and be able to expand the inside of it to accommodate any changes in battle, plus, I will also be placing the sealed Battlefield outside the timestream, this will cut off Grima off whatever Domain it's been using to hide away.

A small orb composed of my Stardust energy, Time, Space and Antimatter coalesced onto the palm of my hand a few seconds later, once it had taken form I grinned and then pushed it up towards the sky.

Middle Army, Assault Squad.

Itami, Bell and Hestia looked up as they watched a purple spark raise up to the sky, Hestia smiled and then turned her head towards Itami and Bell, "looks like Rean is raising the barrier, that's the signal guys so get ready".

Bell nodded and walked off to meet with his team, which is composed of his Familia, Itami did the same, though he walked towards the small squadron he had been given leadership of by Rean.

This Squadron was special even among the Allied armies, for it had soldiers from Ylisse trained in modern warfare by Itami and Shino, it was a small Squadron since Rean didn't want to introduce too much modern weaponry to this world.

But even if it was small in numbers, it was still equipped with the best of modern weaponry Rean could make, giving this small Squadron one of the biggest firepower level in the allied armies.

Hestia smiled as she watched Bell and Itami run towards their teams to get ready to fight, she herself wanted to aid her Familia members in this, so, for the first time ever, she would be going into battle, not as Hestia, but as Vesta.

So with big, bright and happy smile, Hestia grabbed hold of the necklace Rean had made for her so long ago and used it to unlocked her Arcanum at its fullest capacity, her divine energy surge from her body and her charcoal colored hair lit up in a bright red color, like rekindled flames burning bright once again.

Sona looked towards the purple spark flying up to the sky and nodded, "looks like Rean is setting up to begin the attack, Rias, go back to your Peerage and your brother.

You both will have to make sure to destroy all of the defeated Risen bodies as fast as you can, we can't let them regenerate and keep fighting, my Peerage is under your command for this as well".

Rias nodded and grinned, "alright, good luck in the command center Sona!".

With that said, Rias took off flying towards where her Peerage, Sona's Peerage and her big brother were waiting for the battle to start, secretly, she was feeling a bit nervous and even anxious.

But as a Devil a part of her felt excited to fight in this war, it was quite the contradiction within her, it made her wondered how her big brother and Serafall coped with these sort of emotions.

While Rias thought about all of this, Sona had similar thoughts going through her head, something that made her reflect about many things in her life and her big sister as well, "... I really need to apologize to my big sister after this...

I never knew the sort of feelings and anxiousness one could feel in a war and Serafall went through so many battles and for so long as well... I had no idea".

Sona frowned and shook her head to clear her thoughts, apologizing to Serafall can wait a bit, at least until this war was over, right now, Sona had a lot of things on her plate.

After that, Sona took a look at the purple spark and then took off flying towards the command center, where she will be issuing orders to the allied armies.

Sirzechs looked up and watched the purple spark fly off towards the sky, "so it's time huh?".

Grayfia walked up to her husband and nodded, "yeah... its been a while since we had to battle in war".

Sirzechs nodded, "it sure has... but this war is more different than the one we took part in, in this one, I'm sure we won't lose anyone".

Grayfia smiled and then said, "I'm sure Rean will make sure of that".

Sirzechs chuckled and grinned even wider, "of course! my best friend is that awesome!".

Grayfia giggle and shook her head at her husband's antics, she knew Sirzechs really did consider Rean his best friend and even though Rean didn't think the same, he still care for her silly husband.

After all, he wouldn't have allowed him and her to join in this war if he didn't, Sirzechs wouldn't have even made it to the Portal, after all, Grayfia was sure Rean had complete and total control of it.

Even after Serafall agreed and made them sign that magical contract, if Rean didn't want them to be involved he could have stopped them, but he didn't and instead humored her husband's silliness.

After all, Sirzechs might want to help Rean, but Grayfia knew that what he really wanted to do, is show off to Rias, her Peerage and Rean himself, all in an effort to show them how awesome he is.

It was all funny to Grayfia, in Sirzechs side however, he also knew the real reason for her to want join in this war, she was hoping Sakuya would get hurt a bit so she can get some blood from her, all in an effort to prove that she was a Lucifuge.

Say what you will about him, but Grayfia had her moments of silliness as well, Sirzechs knew that Sakuya couldn't be a Lucifuge, sure Grayfia believed she was a half devil that hasn't awakened her Devil side but Sirzechs now knew that Sakuya was probably from another world.

Something he realized after he got a chance to visit a different world himself, in fact, Sirzechs would bet anything, that most of Rean's harem member were girls from different worlda and he was curious about the story behind each girl.

But that could wait, right now, he had to show off how cool and awesome he is to Rean, maybe if he did, he would let him hang out more with him!.

Frontline, Eradicator Squad.

Wiene, Kunou, Emroy and Hardy looked up as soon as their father sent the Purple spark into the sky, Kunou excitedly began to hop from foot to foot since she knew that it was time to fight, "ooh! it's almost time for the battle!".

Emroy nodded by moving her entire energy orb body and then said, "indeed, this is the kind of thing I live for, I'm looking forward to fighting with you three".

Hardy raised two thin energy limbs and wiggle them in excitement, "yeah! it's been a very long time since I participated in a war! I can't wait to have some fun and if we finish quick enough we can join Papa when he faces against that Fell Dragon guy!".

Wiene nodded and smiled at her three sisters, "this is going to be interesting, I will keep you all healed up, so feel free to go all out!".

Kunou grinned even wider and turned her head towards Emroy and Hardy, "hey! why don't we try that thing we have been working on? I think I would be fun and it will surprise Papa a lot as well".

Emroy stretched a thin limb from her energy orb body and began to rub where her chin would be, "hmm... yes, that doea sound like fun and I'm sure father would be very impressed too".

Hardy began to wobble in excitement before stopping in front of Kunou, "then I want to do it with Kunou! we match so we should be able to synch well!".

Kunou smiled at her older sister and patted her head, something her Papa told her that Hardy really enjoys and given how she was now practically purring proved her papa words true, "yeah, let's do it Hardy".

Emroy nodded and floated towards Wiene, "very well, then I'll stick with Wiene, her emotions match mine very well as well, so this works out for all of us".

Wiene nodded to Emroy and then hugged her older sister to her body, which Emroy seemed to accept, though with the way she was squirming, it seemed like she was embarrassed a bit, "I'm happy to work with you big sister".

Emroy nodded and then spoke up, "then let's do it".

Wiene let go of Emroy and both her and Hardy began to shine and glow bright, as Wiene and Kunou sent streams of their Stardust energy into their older sisters.

The streams of Stardust energy, a gift given to them by their father a gift that allows his children to be able to manipulate even the fabric of creation, connected with the two Goddesses who began to shrink until they became as small as a marble.

Kunou and Wiene then pulled their Older sisters into their body and as soon as both Goddess merged with them, both Kunou and Wiene were engulfed by an enormous amount of energy.

Both were completely covered by the energy, Kunou's body was engulfed in a White and Gray energy, while Wiene was covered in a Black and red energy for a few seconds until, the energy suddenly exploded revealing both Kunou and Wiene in a new form.

Kunou now wore a white and gray cloak with a hoodie, the hoodie had fox ear pockets for her ears, while the rest why her body was covered in white shinto priestess clothing, above the new wardrobe, she also wore light armor in gray color.

Kunou's arms had light armor gauntlets, her feet and legs as well, on her chest she also wore a light armor chestplate, with her new armored shinto priestess clothes on, Wiene raised a hand above her head.

A gray and white bladed scythe materialized in her hand and she quickly spinned it around before slamming it on the ground blade first in front of her with such force that the ground below her cracked and cratered.

Kunou smiled under her hoodie and then called out the name of this new form, "Soul Bond, Hardy's Harbinger of the Underworld!".

Wiene's new form was soon revealed as well, her body was now covered in a thin black body suit, above the body suit she now wore a crimson red armor, unlike Kunou's, this one seemed far more sturdy and heavy, not that Wiene even felt it.

Her leg were covered by the armor up to her tights, while she also wore armored shorts and a full chest armor piece, her gauntlets went up to her arms and a black cape now flowed from her shoulder, finaly a small black crown appeared in her head and sparkled for a second until Wiene raised a hand.

A massive black and red bladed war axe appeared on the palm of her arm, Wiene softly smiled and then swung the war axe in a side swipe, that let off a big bang from how hard Wiene swung it.

With her new weapon and form fully active now, Wiene then called out the name of her new form, "Soul Bond, Emroy's Harbinger of Darkness!".

Hardy's voiced suddenly echoed from within Kunou's soul, [Soul Link established, 100 percent stability, you can use all skills and spells Kunou! how do you feel?].

Kunou lifted a had towards her face and smiled as she flexed her fist, "I feel great Hardy, I don't feel any stress or pain, how are you?".

[I'm fine! it's actually pretty comfy in your Soul! for some reason it feels fluffy~ I could stay here for days and nap the time away!].

Kunou giggled and then nodded, "I'm glad you comfortable Hardy".

After saying this, Kunou turned her head towards Wiene who was looking herself over, "what about you Wiene? how are you and Emroy doing?".

Wiene stopped checking herself and turned her attention to her older sister, "I'm fine, I can feel that my power multiplied quite a few times as well".

Emroy then spoke out from within Wiene's Soul, [I'm fine as well, the Soul Link is fully operational and there's no problems on our end, Wiene's Soul is comfortable too very warm and soft].

Wiene blushed a bit with the way Emroy described her Soul, but she soon ignore that and began to speak about what they have just accomplished, "still, this is amazing... to think Papa can do this with three other beings inside his soul".

Kunou nodded and then looked up, "that's right, Papa has Astraea, Gaea and Excalibur inside his soul as well... when he told us about them we thought we could do the same with Emroy and Hardy but in all honesty? I'm surprised it actually worked".

Wiene nodded agreeing with Kunou's thoughts about their chances of pulling this off right, Emroy then spoke up once more, [I believe we were successful because we already share a familial bond, Hardy and I love and want to protect you, our little sisters].

After hearing Emroy's words, Hardy felt like she needed to say something as well, [plus we trust you both, we are family after all!~].

Kunou and Wiene both smiled and nodded in agreement, but then they soon turned their attention towards the Fortress filled with Risen, it was time to help their friends and family win this war and show off a little as well.

Within the Frontal assault squads.

Standing within the allied armies, stood Tyuule the Warrior Bunny queen, she wore her full battle outfit now, which consisted of leather armor and War paint, along with all sort of feather ornaments on her head and hips, behind her stood her Warrior Bunnies, also wearing their battle outfits and the Xeno.

As soon as Tyuule noticed the Purple spark she grinned and nodded to herself, "so it's almost time...".

Ray the Siren and chosen leader of the Xeno walked up to Tyuule and then stood besides her, she looked up at the purple spark and then shook her body, making the feathers on her arms and body to puff up, "looks like it's time for this war to kick off, must admit, I'm feeling a bit nervous".

Tyuule turned her head towards Ray and smiled, "it's normal to feel nervous when going off to war, though I thought you Xeno had plenty of Battle experience from the Dungeon".

Ray nodded and frowned a bit, "we do, but we always fought by ourselves against other Dungeon Monsters and humans, this is the first time we will fighting as part of a bigger group...".

Tyuule frowned remembering how the Xeno were both hunted by Monsters and humans in their world before Rean offered them a new home, "I know it must be nerve wracking to be fighting among a big human army, but all of these humans have showed us that they can be trusted.

They're all fighting for a bright and peaceful future, I know my words might not help, but at least think about how this would pay off the debt we owe to Rean".

Ray nodded and smiled feeling a bit better, "that's right, we're doing this for the person who gave us a new home and a peaceful life... we're doing this for the kind and caring Dragon God we worship".

Tyuule grinned and nodded, "that's right, but don't let Rean hear you calling him kind and caring, he will deny it to the end of time, quite the shy guy for a Dragon no?".

Ray giggled and nodded, "true, but that's why it's so worth it to worship him... now let's get ready, this war is not going to win itself".

Tyuule nodded and both her and Ray turned around and walked over to the Warrior Bunnies and Xeno armies who were waiting on their leaders to announce the start of the battle.

The purple spark flew high into the clouds, until it reached high above the planet's atmosphere, there it stay still for a few seconds before detonating and then engulfing the area below it and a massive part of the Plegian desert in a big purple barrier, soon after, whatever was inside the Barrier was displaced from both, the time stream and space itself.

This left a big empty and dark void in the desert and thus, only the sound of the howling wind and shifting of the sand dunes was the only thing that could be heard from that point onward.

Inside the abandoned Fortress, Grima's base.

Grima, who was sitting in her throne, suddenly stood up and held her chest in pain, "gah! what was that!?... my connection to the void realm... it's gone! who dares separate me from my Divine domain!".

Grima was livid now, deep inside, she was also a bit concerned now, for she never expected anyone powerful enough to exist that could block her connection to her domain, for the first time ever since all of this started Grima began to grow nervous and she did not like the feeling at all.

And done.
