It had been several days since Camie…enriched his life and despite himself, Tenya was getting somewhat used to the demon's presence. Well, he could never get rid of the twinge of fear whenever she was around him but she seemingly was the type to keep her promises.

Not once did he hear about any sort of murder when she was out on her own. Not only that but she seemingly took a shine to her parents. Granted, Camie was probably acting like such a good houseguest just to mock him but it was better than the alternative. Which would be torturing two innocent people while brainwashing them to always love her.

That didn't explain all the little things Camie did to endure herself to his parents. Namely, small things like helping pick up any groceries and keeping his mother company. Though Tenya suspected she just wanted to learn more potentially embarrassing childhood stories about himself.

His parents wasted no time buying Camie a new cell phone to keep in touch with everyone in the family. Tenya chuckled when her parents lectured her about how she needed to always respond to text messages promptly so that they could make sure she was safe. He knew that Camie was the last person they needed to be concerned about when it came to safety. Of course, he couldn't deny giving Camie his number since it would make his parents suspicious why he wouldn't want to talk to his beautiful house mate. So now he had to deal with a demon that could reach him by phone.

Which was splendid.

At least he could take solace in the fact that Camie texted like a forty-year-old. He looked down on a new notification to confirm that hypothesis

Demon: When are you going to come home…

Tenya: Later than most students. I do have a quite a bit of extracurricular activities on top of being a school athlete

Demon: …

Tenya: My parents reprimanded me for making you worried sick for not telling you about this. Were you really worried?

Demon: I thought my pet tried to make a run for it…

Tenya: Why would I do that knowing you have my parents as leverage?

Demon: That's what I figured. You're a smart human. That's why I didn't gut your parents last night as a warning.

Tenya let out a relieved sigh. While he was happy that Camie didn't do anything hasty, the thought of his parents being killed just because he made the mistake of staying after school without informing the demon that took over his life filled him with fear.

Tenya: I'm glad that your logic won out.

Demon: So you're gonna come home late a lot? Not too surprising in hindsight…

Tenya: Thank you for understanding…?

Demon: I guess it gives me more time to see how you humans live…

As the conversation ended, Tenya peered down on his phone and to his embarrassment, he realized that he also texted like a forty-year-old. He had a horrifying revelation that the title of "dad friend" bestowed upon him wasn't for naught.

"Iida!" a familiar voice shook him out of his thoughts. It was his good friend, Uraraka with Midoriya in tow "How's it feel being a third year?"

"Positively frightening" Tenya snarked "What about you two?"

"I really feel like I've grown a lot." Midoriya

Tenya smiled "And you, Uraraka?"

"I've become a better test taster." Uraraka quipped "It's cause I'm surrounding myself with smart people!"

"Come now, Uraraka. You have to give yourself some credit." Tenya urged

Midoriya nodded "Yeah! We didn't do the tests for you. Although, I guess it would be fair to say that Yaomomo did more work than either of us did."

"Hey! You two gave me some crazy good study guides!"

"Yes, but we weren't as good at actually tutoring our friend as we should have been." Tenya noted

Uraraka waved off his concerns "Relax Iida! I tried studying with you and it was a disaster! We're too close. We kept talking about other things and ended up getting no studying done. It's the same with me and Deku!"

"I think I just ramble a lot in general." sheepishly admitted "Especially when it comes to comic books."

"I'm fairly sure I gave you a heart attack when I gave you that All Might figure, freshly signed by Toshinori Yagi himself." Tenya joked

"Iida had me bring an AED he brought just in case." Uraraka added "but back to the point. Yaomomo is a really good tutor so you two have nothing to worry. Besides…" she twirled a lock of hair around her finger "I always have Katsuki for super tough training."

"What? He doesn't go any easier on you because you're dating?" Tenya asked

"Nope!" Uraraka chirped

"That's the Kacchan I know." Midoriya said matter-of-factly, with a smile on his face.

Tenya adjusted his glasses "Be that as it may, I almost neglected to mention that I have a meeting with Yaoyorozu soon."

"I can't imagine how much extra work you class reps have to do." Midoriya mumbled "Makes me happy that I stepped down from it."

"Tell Yaomomo that I wanted to thank her again for the help! Uraraka cheered as she waved goodbye to her friend

Now it was just him and Momo Yaoyorozu in an empty classroom. It was weird to think about how they won't have many more meetings like this soon. For the past two years, it had become a routine part of their lives.

Momo greeted him with a warm smile "We're going to have to step up now that we're third years. You're the class president, so I'll let you lead the way."

Tenya returned her smile "Well I'm confident that having a talented and intelligent vice president will make things easier for me."

Momo playfully rolled her eyes "Typical man- gets the leadership position while the woman does all the work."

The joke made both of them burst into a fit of laughter. Tenya couldn't help but steal glances at Momo when she wasn't looking. When they first met, he had to admit that he was jealous of her. Every subject he did well in, she exceeded. She was always smarter than him, and he hated that.

It's funny looking back how foolish he was. When he ended up being class president (albeit, due to odd circumstances) while she was voted as vice president. He wanted to try to subtly gloat about finally beating her at something but when he saw her being so genuinely congratulatory for his accomplishment. It was at that moment when Tenya realized that he was waging an intellectual war against a shadow.

As they got to know each other during their frequent class rep meetings, Tenya realized that Momo was a wonderful student and an even better friend. Slowly but surely, all his feelings of resentments towards her became admiration, and soon he realized that admiration was turning into infatuation.

It was tough comings to term with his crush. Momo was perfect in nearly every way and he couldn't help but feel intimidated. Tenya wasn't narcissistic, but he did know that he wasn't exactly homely himself. He did have some potential suitors try to flirt with him. His classmates like Ashido and Kaminari would tease him for being oblivious when beautiful girls put the moves on him but he wasn't a moron. Tenya knew what flirting was but he had his eyes firmly set on Momo.

But even with how confident he was, he knew that Momo was in another galaxy. To further complicate things, they were already friends and Tenya didn't want to ruin anything between them.

"Get those thoughts out of your head, Tenya!" He mentally scolded himself "This is your third year of high school! It's now or never!"

This was it. He and Momo would most likely part ways once they high school journey ends so there would be no better time to confess his feelings. Tenya steeled himself before speaking

"Yaoyorozu…I have something to say…" He sounded much too serious considering they were joking around not a minute before

Momo stopped giggling and looked at him, concern staining her features "Yes, Iida?"

Tenya took a deep breath. Now was the time for him to tell Momo just how much she means to him. Even if Momo rejected him, Tenya figured that just letting those feelings linger for the rest of his life would cause nothing but trouble. What if he gets distracted during the entrance exams for whatever prestigious university he set his eyes on? What if he gets too in his own head during an important American football game?

"I just wanted to tell you that-"

Right before he confessed, Tenya remembered a new variable that would make things complicated. There was a demon living in his house who threatened to tear his world asunder. He couldn't fathom what Camie would do to any potential lover. How could he subject Momo to a lifetime of agony or servitude under Camie's heel?

"Wanted to tell me what?" Momo's question shook Tenya out of his reverie

He made up an excuse "I just wanted to tell you that Uraraka wants to thank you for tutoring her for the last exam."

"Oh! Well I'll make sure to tell her that it wasn't a bother at all and that she's welcome to study with me anytime."

Tenya forced a smile "You really are a good tutor, Yaoyorozu."

He could live with unsaid feelings in exchange for her safety. It was better this way.

It was another day in the human world and another day that Tenya was staying late for school. Camie couldn't help but be annoyed at her human for being so busy. The nerve of Tenya!

She quickly brushed off those thoughts as it gave her more excuses to explore the human world. While Camie was somewhat privy to the human world, she just did the bare minimum research to snare some unwary humans to her doom. Now that she had a long term goal, she knew that she had to get a deeper look into her new playground.

Cell phones! Ingenious devices that let her track anyone she wanted. Camie remembered her host family explaining to her that she needed one to "be safe". She also remembered the horror in Tenya's eyes as the realization that she now had another method to keep track of him.

Of course since her host family adored her like she was their own child, they spared no expense with her new "A-phone" as they liked to call it. Right now her contact information consisted of Tenya's parents and Tenya but Camie knew that she should expand her range of potential puppets.

Thankfully, Tenya knew what was good for him and the continued safety of his parents and promptly responded to all her text messages. Although Camie did find herself growing attached to her new host family, she was willing to dispose of them to send a message. Still, while she did mess with their minds, their personality remained intact. They were just naturally accommodating.

…And really want grandkids as soon as possible.

Right now, Camie was spending some time shopping for some clothes. She could shapeshift to make it look like she was wearing whatever she wanted to think but since she was here, why not embrace the culture? It was like that saying "When in Rome, do as the Romans do."

One of the elder supreme demons taught her that phrase. Well, he was responsible for the collapse of the Roman Empire so he knew better than anyone.

Stepping out of some stylish department store with armfuls of bags of clothes made Camie smile. Not only did her host parents adamant that she received the latest smartphone, they also made sure to spare no expense when it came to giving her enough yen to buy clothes.

She could not have asked for a nicer couple to brainwash to serve her!

Camie disregarded the GPS system built into her phone while choosing a path home. She didn't have the best sense of direction in the human world and her host family was worried sick when she came home late a few nights ago. Tenya was tasked with teaching her how to use Google Maps.

There was some delicious irony in Tenya having to instruct her on where to find his family. She figured he wanted nothing more than for her to get lost and end up in another continent where she could never bother him or his family ever again. But Tenya was also smart enough to know if he led her astray than once she found him, there would be consequences.

Since she finished her shopping trip earlier than expected, what harm was there in taking the scenic route? Sure she might get a lecture from her host family, but it would be worth it to explore different parts of this human worlds. Besides, it will be fun watching Tenya freak out at the sight of his parents reprimanded someone who could end their lives so easily.

Feeling bold, Camie decided to take a detour to a seedier part of town. It's been ages since she had some fun so she was hoping for something to entertain her. In the corner of her eye, she spotted a figure scurry deeper in a dark alley. It was clear that he didn't want to be seen. Camie's face broke into a wide smile…too wide for a human.

This was perfect!

"I am so lost!" she groaned as loudly while still trying to sound natural. She didn't want to spook her would be assailant into thinking this was some sort of police operation with her as a decoy. "I think this is a nice shortcut…"

Doing her best to appear as cautious as possible, Camie daintily walked into the dingy alley, trying her best to hold back a smile. Just as she'd hope, once she got halfway through, she felt an arm snake around her waist from behind while another arm held a knife against her throat.

"Looks like you're in the wrong part of town, baby." A sleazy voice introduced himself as the mugger scanned through the luxury branded bags "And I just scored the big time"

Camie was happy that she could drop the act "No, I think I just did."

This made the mugger a bit confused "Uh…this doing something for ya? You're not that bad, so I ain't complaining!"

Camie giggled heartily "Sorry. I have a boyfriend."

The mugger let out a low chuckle "I'm sure what he doesn't know won't hurt him…or you. Make it worth it and I might just let you walk out with some of your shit."

"I don't think you can handle me." Camie mocked before bony spikes erupted from her back, impaling the mugger's guts. It took a second for his wounds to register before he crumpled on the floor, screaming.

Camie ignored his cries of pain as she clicked her tongue in annoyance "And I just brought that top too!"

"What the fuck are you?!" the mugger wailed

Camie crouched so she could be closer to eye level and let out a sigh "This usually gives me such a rush, but it's just not doing anything for me right now…"

"Crazy bitch! Get away from me!" The mugger whimpered as he futilely tried to crawl away before Camie transformed her fingers into razor sharp talons to stab his legs.

"My boyfriend's always doing stuff in school and I barely see him. It's annoying right?" Camie asked like the mugger was someone who volunteered to listen to her problems while two pairs of tendrils erupted from her back to lift the injured man into the air.

"Y-Yeah annoying! Listen, I'm sorry for what I said back there! I was dumb, alright?! Please don't kill me! Why don't you uh…Why don't you just spend more time with the boyfriend you love so much?!" The mugger pleaded

Camie smiled "That's an excellent idea! I should enroll in his school, so I could be with him all day! Thanks for that!"

"You're gonna let me go now, right?"

Camie pretended to think about his suggestion for a moment (It was always fun to give humans hope) before she shook her head "Why go through all this without having a little snack?"

The mugger watched in horror as Camie's stomach opened vertically to reveal a horrendous maw full of sharp teeth that her tendrils were pulling him into '

"Please no! God help-" a sickening crunch cut off his final panicked words

"Time to become a high schooler!" Camie declared as she picked up the fallen bags of designer clothes
