Kanto Region
A 10 year old girl with honey-blonde hair and blue eyes was on a ship heading to the region. Her name was Serena and she was from Vaniville Town in the Kalos Region. A small fox was next to her. This was a Fennekin, a starter Pokemon from the Kalos Region.
The two were here to see Ash Ketchum, a childhood friend of Serena's who lived in Pallet Town.
'I wonder if Ash will be surprised to see me.' She thought.
As the ship made it's way through the water, a armored bird also soared across the sky. This was a Corviknight, a steel/flying type Pokemon from the Galar Region. It was here to transport someone from the Galar Region to Kanto.
It wasn't long before the ship reached land and Serena stepped off it with Fennekin in tow.
They went to find Ash as soon as possible.
Serena eventually found him unconscious on Route 1 north of Pallet Town.
"Ash." She whispered.
She dragged him to the Pokemon Center.
"I hope he remembers me." She said quietly.
After being dragged to the Pokemon Center, Ash regained consciousness.
"What's going on?" Ash started to freak out. "Where's Pikachu?"
"Right here." Serena was holding a small yellow mouse in her arms.
Ash took Pikachu from her.
"Thanks." He said happily.
Nurse Joy then appeared.
Nurse Joy took Pikachu from Ash to do a check up. They then went to a operating room.
Ash and Serena ended up waiting in the lobby.
"Hey, I have a question?" Serena asked.
"What is it." Ash looked at her.
"Do you remember who I am?"
Ash had a hard time recognizing her.
"No I don't." Ash told her.
Serena was disappointed.
She hoped that wasn't the case.
"We met a long time ago." She reminded him.
Flashback
It was back at Prof. Oak's summer camp. She had scraped her knee after encountering a Poliwag.
"Would you like some help?" Ash asked.
A still upset Serena accepted his assistance. Ash carried her out of the forest.
End flashback
"Wait, Serena?" This seemed to jog his memory.
Serena smiled.
Misty then stormed into the Pokemon Center with her wrecked bike.
"You owe me a new bike!" She screamed at Ash.
"Oh yeah." Ash sweat dropped.
He stole her bike to bring Pikachu to the Pokemon Center before he lost consciousness.
Misty angrily made her way over to the two.
"Who are you?" Serena asked.
"He took my bike while trying to get away from those Spearow." Misty pointed a finger at Ash.
"It's not like he had any other option." Serena argued.
"That's not good enough." Misty countered.
"Well, what is?" Serena retorted.
"Don't start with me." Misty retorted.
"What was that?" Serena snapped.
Misty and Serena's argument went back and forth.
As their argument dragged on, smoke filled the Pokemon Center.
"What's going on?" The three asked, coughing.
Three individuals then made their way inside.
The man had blue hair and the woman had red hair. They were accompanied by a Meowth that could speak.
"Prepare for trouble."
"And make it double."
"To protect the world from devastation."
"To unite all people within our nation."
"To denounce the evils of truth and love."
"To extend our reach to the stars above."
"Jessie."
"James."
"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light."
"Surrender now or prepare to fight."
"Meowth, that's right."
"I've seen a wanted poster of those three on my way here." Serena said.
"So you know who we are." Jessie smirked.
"You're nasty pieces of work." Serena glared at them.
"Nasty." The three repeated.
Jessie, James and Meowth weren't happy with Serena's statement.
"Let's teach them a lesson." Jessie growled.
"Go Ekans."
"I choose you Koffing."
Serena released Fennekin from it's Poke Ball.
A fierce battle then commenced.
Serena and Misty worked together.
Serena and Misty weren't off to a good start with the battle though because Serena was just starting out and Misty's Goldeen didn't fare well on land.
"We need some more help." Serena said.
They were about to get it from a unexpected source.
"I have a idea." Ash announced.
Ash went to see if there were any Pokemon that could help.
He eventually came across a group of Pikachu.
"How would you like to help me get rid of Team Rocket?" Ash asked them.
The Pikachu were more than willing to aid him.
Ash pedaled on Misty's destroyed bike and the lights turn on.
The Pikachu's cheeks spark and a enormous bolt of lightning was generated inside the Pokemon Center.
The attack set off a massive explosion.
"We're blasting off." Team Rocket exclaimed.
A blue-haired woman dressed like a police officer ran into the Pokemon Center.
"Are you guys alright?" She asked.
"We are." Nurse Joy pointed in the direction of Ash, Misty and Serena. "These three trainers intervened."
The blue-haired woman got more information regarding what took place in the Pokemon Center.
"Thanks for sharing that." She told Nurse Joy.
"Would you like to join me?" Ash asked Serena.
Serena had a lot to think about.
The journey will continue.
