"Reedington Medieval Fair"? Sakura read on a bulletin board at school.

"There's going to be dragons, castles, knights and more!" Said Madison

Syaoran then walked up to the board. "A lot of the Sakura cards resemble medieval themed people I could go for it."

"Sounds good! Glad you're coming!" Sakura said

"I'll bring Meilin along too." he said.

Sakura looked back at the poster "Wow! Wonder what it was like in the 15th century."

Back in her room, Sakura was looking at her cards.

"You're getting better with fusing; I tell you that." Kero said "The more cards you fuse with the stronger you're get"

"Well, I've had something similar with capturing and transforming them." Sakura said

"You know I think...you're ready to fuse with 2 cards at once." Said Kero

"Fuse with two cards? Hmmmmm...could come in handy, anyway good night Kero."

Sakura turned off the lights.

The day of the midfield fair came and Sakura and her friends were there. Sakura was dressed as a princess with a gold crown and a red and blue dress, Madison was dressed in a princess hat with a sea green dress, Syaoran was in a green and yellow bard's outfit, and Meilin was dressed in a pink peasant outfit.

"So what do you think of my new outfit?" Asked Meilin.

"Looks great!" Said Sakura.

"Of course it is, they were all made by me." Said Madison

"Now come on let's have a look around the fair!" Said Meilin

So the gang look around the fair at what Europe in the 15th century looked like. They stopped by a butcher's shop.

"I'll have one button leg please!" Said Sakura. It is revealed the person running the meat store is Tori and Jullian.

"Here you go" said Tori as Jullian was chewing on a piece of ham. Sakura took the mutton leg.

"I'll have a large bucket of wings please." Said Syaoran. Tori handed him a small bucket of chicken.

"I ordered a large."

"We're all out." Said Tori

Syaoran grabbed the bucket and went with Sakura. "How about we head to the joust?"

"Good idea!" Said Madison

At the jousting stadium, the kids took their seats. It was then that they met Lindsay. wearing an orange princess dress.

"Hey, you guys watching the joust too?" She asked.

"Yeah sis, and we're watching." said Meilin.

The joust started, two knights on horseback a red one and blue one raced to each other, the blue knight toppled the red knight off his horse. Everyone cheered.

"So what do you want to do next?" Asked Meilin

"How about some target practice.?" Said Lindsay.

So they went to a target stand, Syaoran threw an axe at a heart and hit. Sakura tried to throw one but missed.

"Here like this." Syaoran held Sakura's arm and taught her how to throw.

"How did you learn that?" She asked

"All part of my Cardcaptor training."

As Madison threw too softly, Lindsay put a dark aura on the axes.

As the group came together.

"I'm the most skilled at axes." Boasted Meilin

"But you missed half of the targets." Pointed out Syaoran.

"O.K. maybe I need a wee bit practice." She admitted.

"Here." Syaoran handed out a chicken wing to Sakura.

"Gee thanks, I won't need to eat dinner after this."

"We'll probably have some leftover for tomorrow." Said Madison

Just then Sakura's chicken wing was sliced in half. The kids turned around and saw axes floating.

"Run!" Syaoran yelled. The ran away as the axes followed them.

"Sakura put everybody to sleep so nobody will see any of this." Syaoran said.

Sakura transformed her key into a staff and called out Sleep.

"Sleep!" The spirit put everybody to sleep. Sleep tried to put Madison to sleep, but she moved out of the way.

"Not this time!" She said.

After everybody was asleep, Sakura pulled out Sheild.

"Shield!" A barrier appeared around the kids. Protecting them from the axes.

"Oh yeah! Cardcaptors:1 Flying Axes:0!" Cheered Meilin.

But the Axes decided to change targets.

"Oh no! They're headed for the sleepers!" Sayoran pointed out. "Shield's not powerful enough to protect everybody!"

"Then it's time for some fusion magic!" Sakura dropped Shield and took hold of it. But then thought a moment. "Even if I protect the whole fair, what if they try to attack the town?" Then she remembered what Kero's told her last night. "It's risky, but I should try." Sakura pulled out Sword to put alongside Shield.

"Sword, Shield!" Sakura summoned the two weapons as they floated in front of her.

"Under the power of the staff that I spun, I command you to fuse to become one! Sword, Shield!"

Sword and Shield turned into orbs of silver light and sped into Sakura at high speed. With a wall of light, surround her the gang were amazed at what they saw.

The Axes were looking for a target to chop until they found their target, a sleeping Tori. One of them charged at him when suddenly a barrier like the one from Shield popped up, one so big that it covered the whole fair. The Axes look for who brought up the barrier when they saw Sakura. She had a sword for a left arm and a shield for a right arm.

The Axes attack Sakura, but she deflects them with her shield arm. She then jumps up and slices one of the axes with her sword arm. The axes then merged into a giant axe. The axe swung down on Sakura, but Sakura pulled out a barrier in front of her as she blocked the attack. The axe tried to chomp Sakura again, but Sakura dodged it giving her the opening she needed. She jumped up and sliced the axe in two. The giant axe turned back into smaller axes all chomped up.

Sakura returned to normal and fainted, and Tori caught her. He apparently woke up just in time. He carried Sakura home. The Cardcaptors looked at what happened.

"Yeah! I caught it all on tape!" Madison beamed.

"I'll let him carry her this time." Said Syaoran.

"In the meantime," Said Meilin "Who wants some chicken legs, extra-large?"
