Hello Everyone.
Yes it has been quite a while since I posted. I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN YOU ALL OR MY STORIES. Life has been busy. I still have several chapters in the draft stages and are getting ready to come out. Please bare with me. I have read your replies. More is coming.
Enjoy the new chapter. I will slowly start to increase the chapter sizes over time.
Chapter 5
Kami appears in the living room of the temporary house of Minato and Kushina. She awaits for the family to wake up. She has some really good news in hopes that Naruto will enjoy it but not to sure as to how Minato and Kushina will take it. Same can be said for Kurama. After about half an hour Minato is the first to walk into the living room and he sees Kami. He immediately gets on the defensive not knowing who she is.
Kami smiles seeing him, "Good morning Minato. Please go and get Kushina and Naruto. I have much to discuss with all of you."
Not moving or dropping his stance. "Who are you?"
"I am Kami. I heard what my brother Shin did for you and your family. We must talk."
Minato looks her over to see if she is lying and is unable to determine if she is. "Just give me a moment."
Kami nods as she watches Minato leave the room. After some time has passed Minato, Kushina, and Naruto walk into the room. She motions for them to take a seat on the couch. Once they all take a seat she begins to explain why she is here.
"First off its nice to meet all of you." She turns her gaze to Naruto. "Especially you Naruto. I am here to deliver some good and some bad news. It involves what the Shinigami has done for you and what Kurama has done for you Naruto."
Naruto tilts his head to the side, "What do you mean what Kurama has done for me?"
"Is Kurama asleep right now?"
Naruto nods his head.
"Do not wake Kurama. Kurama cheated death for you nine times in total Naruto."
Minato and Kushina's eyes widen hearing this. Kushina was about to speak but is stopped by Kami when she held up a hand.
"Relax Kushina. I shall explain. Throughout Naruto's childhood there were nine times he should have died from the attacks that the villagers did to him. Kurama altered that, and with that comes consequences. Some bad but some are good. The main one many would seem as questionable, but its the way I set up everything in the beginning and it can't be altered."
Kushina moves Naruto into her lap and holds him close. "Please explain everything Kami-sama. I will do anything to protect my son."
Kami smiles softly at that. "No need to fear Kushina. I shall explain, but there is also some good and bad things from the deal the Shinigami made with you and Minato. I shall go over all the bad things real quick. Starting with the deal. It is a nice offer but I must step in. Only one of you is allowed to stay once your mission is over with. It will have to be you Kushina. Minato, you have enacted the summoning for the Shinigami. You are bound to remain in his gut. He knew about this but probably wasn't going to tell you until it was time to go. I am telling you now so you can enjoy the time you have with your son and to teach him all you can."
Minato looks down at the ground. Kushina places her hand on his shoulder. He looks up at Kami. "I understand Kami-sama. I am grateful that I get this chance." He turns to look at Kushina and Naruto. "Kushina you look after Naruto once this is all done. Naruto you will have to get strong to protect your mother. I still have five years. I will train you the best I can."
Tears start to fall down Naruto's cheeks. He looks at his father and nods with a look of determination. Kushina looks at Minato and smiles. They turn their attention back to Kami.
"Now for the bad part of Kurama reviving you nine times Naruto. Honestly the bad part is a punishment for Kurama. I will get to that in a minute. As for you Naruto you will not receive any kind of punishment. Later on you will think it will be a punishment from me but trust me when I say its not. You will love it in the end." She turns and looks at Kushina. "Now Kushina I wanted to inform you that your clans summoning scroll has awakened again. This is something I did not expect to happen. It seems that a great threat will appear if they have awakened again."
Kushina's eyes widen hearing this.
Kami smiles softly and turns to Minato. "I did not come here with just bad news for you Minato. The other two I mentioned to you before will be here in roughly two weeks time. Maybe three. I shall also tell you this as compensation for the bad news for you. Its a warning. Are you ready?"
Minato nods his head.
"The slug shall be a lifeline while the crow watches over all. They eyes shall see the way through and build a path of paper. The orange paths shall defend. The toad will wonder about looking for the void. The monkey cannot be trusted and will deceive again and again. The blind eyes will lie and cheat. The red eyes are shrouded in darkness. The cherry blossoms will fall and so will the lands they touch. A great storm approaches and washes away the pain. The rising tides shall disperse and the once forgotten land shall return."
Minato and Kushina make a mental note of this warning. Minato bows his head, "Thank you Kami-sama. I will try to figure out your warning and prepare."
"Good. I hope you uncover the truth." She turns to Naruto. "I have a riddle for you as well Naruto for your future. Are you ready?"
Naruto nods his head. Minato and Kushina listen in as well being curious.
"The blue cat shall purr for you under the bright moon. The snake and fox shall hunt seek comfort. The crimson night shall bath over you with its red glow. After a long travel the blue cat, the snake, and the fox shall unite under the crimson moon. A rabbit looks on waiting to join. A race begins and death is brought about. Do not fear the beast for its your friend. The sun shall shine when you take what is mine. The reptiles shall shield and care while the warrior sleeps. Many hardships chase after you but are met with death bathed in crimson. Nine new voices can be heard when the sun shines its brightest."
Naruto tilts his head trying to figure out any part of this riddle. Kushina and Minato both take a mental note of Naruto's riddle.
Kami smiles brightly at them all. "I hope you all can find peace and live happy lives. Again I am sorry Minato for the bad news." She looks at Naruto. "Now to talk about Kurama. Kurama has went against death nine times. I will punish Kurama. Naruto please do not contact Kurama for a few days. I shall enter your seal and will have to issue the punishment. There is no need to be afraid."
Naruto sighs and nods his head, "Yes Kami-sama. May I know what punishment you are giving to Kurama?"
Kami chuckles lightly. "You will see in a few days."
Before Naruto, Minato, or even Kushina could say anything Kami vanishes.
*Inside of Naruto's seal.*
Kami appears before the great big gates that hold Kurama. She casually walks inside and sees Kurama sleeping. She smiles and clasps her hands.
"Oh Kurama. You will hate me for this but you will also thank me later for it. It's time you returned to your original form."
Kami bathes Kurama in a bright light. She looks at her handy work and chuckles.
"Naruto you are in for a treat."
Kami leaves the seal before Kurama wakes up.
*Back inside the home.*
Kami appears before the family once more. She smiles brightly at all of them. "I thank you all for your considerable help and understanding." She holds out her hands. "I have given Naruto a special gift, one that he will awaken soon. Minato, there is nothing I can give you to help you over the next few years. You are more than capable of handling any issue." She then turns towards Kushina. "Kushina. I have a special gift for you. I know of the Raikage's plan for you for the exams." She manifests a scroll in her hands. "When it comes time for the exams please use this scroll, ONLY if you truly wish to go through with the plan. I will come before you once again if you choose to open it."
Kushina takes the scroll with a smile, "Thank you Kami-sama."
Kami continues to smile. "Your welcome. And now I have to relay the final news to you all. However now is not the time. Kushina, Regardless of whether you choose the scroll or not open it and we will go from there and I will explain what the final news is then. There is a very specific reason I am withholding this information."
"Yes Kami-sama."
Minato and Naruto listens in and begins to wonder.
"Now I thank you all for this wonderful meeting and I wish you all great hope and fortune in the future and with your task. Farewell." Kami then slowly vanishes before their very eyes.
Once Kami leaves Naruto jumps up and turns towards his parents.
"Lets get to training! I want to become strong for the both of you!"
Minato and Kushina look at each other and smile. Minato looks back at Naruto.
"Very well Naruto. Go ahead and make all your clones. Also don't forget to leave Kurama alone for the next few days like Kami said."
Naruto nods and makes thirty clones. "Who shall I go with then while I wait for Kurama to wake up?"
Kushina smiles and makes a clone as well. "Your coming with me Naruto. I am going to test you to see if you have any of our clans bloodlines. Your clones can follow my clone for some training."
Naruto nods. They all get ready and gather everything they need. Ten clones head out to meet with Bee and Yugito for training, Ten leave with Minato, and the last ten leave with Kushina. Each group heads out to different training grounds.
*With Yugito and Bee.*
Yugito is meditating on the training ground in front of bee's home. Bee is scribbling on his notebook trying to come up with some new raps. He looks up when he notices a group of Narutos walking up.
One of the Clones walks forward, "Bee sensei, my parents said that this is the best kind of training for me to do. I will be sending ten clones to train with you and Yugito everyday and as I get stronger the amount of clones I send will increase."
Yugito looks up, "Why clones though? They do not and cannot provide any training assistance."
The clone looks back at her, "We are shadow clones. As long as we don't take to much damage we wont disappear. Everything we learn and train in is transferred back to the real me, except for physical changes. Muscle memory and knowledge is the main sources they transfer back. It's basically a training hack. I can only do this because of Kurama's massive chakra supply to my own."
Bee nods his head and walks over to the clones, "We will train you on how to deal with tough foes. I am sure your learning all your jutsus, and taijutsu from your parents. We will focus purely on how to deal with stronger foes."
The clones all nod.
*With Minato.*
"Alright Naruto. I want your clones to split in two groups of five. One group with work on my taijutsu stance. Its called the hummingbird. I believe you will be the first one that can properly use it. The other five will work on learning the rasengan." Minato holds out his hand and forms a perfect rasengan. "Once you can make start making five more clones for our training or once you complete the rasengan, we will then work on seals. I want to teach you the hirashin, but that will take a long time."
All the clones nod and split up. Minato walks over to the first group. He takes out a storage scroll and opens it. Multiple water balloons fall out. He picks one up and holds it out so the clones can see.
"The first thing I want you to get the hang of is using your chakra to make the water in this water balloon spin without popping it. Once you complete this we will move on to step two. Also I want you to do this without the help of clones. I learned early on its easier with clones yes, but I want you to be able to complete this on your own. I believe you can."
The clones nod and pick up the balloons. They begin to pour chakra into them and they all pop instantly. They groan a bit and pick up another repeating this process. Minato smiles and walks over to the other group.
"Alright I want you all to attack me together so I can see how well you fight and what to work on first before learning my taijutsu. No jutsu or weapons. Purely taijutsu."
All the clones charge at him. Minato dodges every punch and kick. He doesn't strike back, instead he just pushes them away. To prevent the clones from dispersing. After some time he motions for all the clones to stop.
"Okay Naruto. I have a good grasp of your fighting style and how your body moves. I am going to show a few stances that will help you out and prepare you for my hummingbird stance."
All the clones nod their heads.
*With Kushina*
"Alright naruto I want all your clones to go with my clone back home for now. They will begin to learn calligraphy so we can get you started on fuinjutsu soon."
The clones nod leaving the real Naruto and Kushina behind. Naruto looks at his mother and smiles.
"Alright now Naruto I am going to test you for our clans bloodlines. The Uzumaki have two bloodlines for the men. You have already shown to have at least one of them, and that is the high and dense chakra reserves. The other one is a powerful healing factor."
Kushina takes out a kunai and hands it to Naruto.
"I want you to just make a simple cut across your hand and lets see if anything happens."
Naruto nods and slices his hand with the kunai. He holds out his hand for his mother to see. After a few seconds the cut slowly starts to heal. Both smile at seeing this.
"That's good Naruto. That means you got both bloodlines. Now for the next step of my training for you. I want you to sit in a meditative stance. One that is comfortable to you. I want you to concentrate on your chakra and push it out. I want to see how much chakra you have. Once I can get an idea as to how much you got for now I can set up a training method for you that will help with the use of seals."
Naruto sits down on the ground and closes his eyes. He focuses on his chakra from deep within and pushes it out. After a few moments he lets it flow freely. His warm and gentle chakra flows out all around him. Sensing his chakra, Kushina smiles. Inside of Naruto's mind a quick image of kami's face appears and disappears just as quickly. He pays it no mind until he senses his chakra taking shape. He can hear Kami's voice in his head repeating one word over and over 'chains'. Taking this as a hint Naruto starts to picture chains. As he does his chakra responds and hums within him.
While watching her son meditate and release his chakra, Kushina nearly has a heart attack. In the process of Naruto releasing his chakra. She could see his chakra start to slowly solidify into tendrils.
"Naruto! Stop!"
Naruto stops and looks up at his mother.
"Did I do something wrong mom?"
Kushina has a bright smile on her face and tackles her son with a crushing hug.
"Kami gave you a wonderful gift Naruto! You have the ultimate bloodline of the Uzumakis! The adamantine chains! Usually only the females of the clan have this bloodline. Only two males in all of Uzumaki history have had this bloodline and now you are the third."
She hugs him and kisses him on the cheek. Naruto smiles brightly at being able to make his mother happy. During this whole encounter Kami looks down and smiles as well.
*Later that night.*
Kushina is carrying in a sleeping Naruto in her arms. She carries him to his bed and tucks him in. She leaves the room and heads into the living room and sees Minato sitting at the table. She walks over and sits across from him.
"Naruto is going to be amazing Minato. He has such a strong fire within him. I am proud to be his mother."
Minato smiles at this, "I am proud to be his father. He has tremendous potential. More than both of us combined. We have so much time to make up for and we will do all we can to make up for it. Now lets talk about what we discovered with him during our training time today."
"HE HAS ALL THE BLOODLINES OF MY CLAN! EVEN MY CHAINS!"
Minato's eyes widen hearing this. "Yep… He has even more potential than I thought. He can learn my taijutsu stance easily I believe. His body is flexible enough. I even give him a month before he can use the rasengan."
Kushina continues to smile brightly, but quickly gains a sour look. "Dam Konoha. If they didn't belittle and hold him back.."
"Relax Kushina. We can't change the past but we will change the future. He has us now."
Kushina smiles weakly at this, "I know, but I wish we could change it. However I have to be accept it because at least we are here for him now."
They both talk about how to go about training Naruto and what all to teach him at what times. They both come up with a schedule that will fit him nicely. Minato even made sure to prepare a new schedule for him once their extra help arrives. He has no idea what help they can offer but will make a few plans to be safe and ready. Minato will take tomorrow to talk with Bee and Yugito to see what they help out with. Kushina wants to take him later this week to go get some new clothes.
While Minato and Kushina have their talk and Naruto sleeps. A certain fox wakes up and looks around.
"Why do I feel different."
Its eyes widen as the fox hears its own voice. The nine tails jumps up and closes its eyes. It breathes in and out calmly.
"Just relax and calm down. Your going to open your eyes and this is a dream."
The fox opens its eyes and looks itself over.
"Oh Fuck….."
In a certain white void far above, Kami is rolling around holding her gut laughing a storm.
"Oh Kurama. HAHAHA. Its been to long since you were in your true form. Learn to accept it because your stuck like that now. Have fun explaining it to Naruto. HAHA. That is if he doesn't pass out with a nose bleed from looking at you."
