This will be a 2 part story please read and reveiw
After Naraku was defeated and everyone was ok Kagome looking at the jewel in her hand smiled. Knowing she had finally finished her task.
"All that left now is to make the selfless wish." Kagome said while looking at the jewel that had cause so much trouble.
"You can do it Kagome and no matter what we all love you." Sango said
"I love you all to." Kagome said as she held on to the jewel. she turned and saw Lord Sesshomaru watching from a distance.
"Good bye if i don't see you all again." Kagome said bringing the Jewel to her lips whispering her wish.
The jewel glow bright pink It started pulsing with Kagome She knew the jewel was gonna take her from this world she looked up at Sesshomaru smiled as a tear ran down her face and she vanished.
"Shes gone." Sango said as tears formed in her eyes.
Looking around pink magic swirled around Inuyasha as body form was placed in his arms. kikyo was returned to him he smiled but was crying at the same time knowing that he wouldn't see Kagome again. Maybe this was the jewel's way of putting things the way they are suppose to be. Glancing at his brother with tears in his eyes. he saw his brothers arm had been returned to him and he also was graced with another mark on his hand it was a mark of the jewel itself. Kohawku walked into the clearing. Sango he cried when seeing him. mirokus wind tunnel was gone he no longer held the curse in his left hand.
Sesshomaru didn't show much emotion. He felt when she vanished a sadness sank into his being knowing she is out of his reach now.
Kagome
Kagome looked around noticing that she was floating in a pink light. Where am i Kagome said quietly? You are with the kami Kagome no one can hurt you now. Kagome glanced around and down she could see the group crying about her loss. Sesshomaru caught her eye the sadness that was in his eyes hurt her soul. Why does he look so sad? Kagome asked Maybe because his mate is no longer in his reach. Mate who is his mate? Kagome asked curiously. Why you are my dear you always have been his mate he just never told you. So he knew for how long? Kagome asked looking at him. Since he met you he just refused to believe it until he saw how much power you carry then he did start paying more attention. Dog demons are so stubborn tho. Oh i can agree Kagome said with a laugh. So what happens now where do i go from here? Kagome asked. Well you have a choice since you helped so much you can go back or to a new time all together. What about Sesshomaru Kagome asked. He is your mate no matter the time line dear. but the choice is yours. Will i age like a human? No since you and the jewel are one and the same once mated you will stop ageing. What time were you thinking further back or what. You will have to wait and see if that's what you choose. Change times Kagome said even tho i want to go back to him i think changing times is best. If you are ready you will have help this pendent will protect you from harm and only you can survive.
Kagome felt a tingling feeling and she landed by the well again taking in her surrounding. the tree of ages has grown. Walking to the the edge of the forest she could see the village down at the bottom. the village had grown some. as she watched she saw two figures that looked familiar to her.
'Inuyasha and kikyo.' Kagome thought as she saw them they looked older.
"How many years have passed since the jewel." Kagome said softly watching.
Inuyasha caught a familiar sent looking toward the forest there stood Kagome not a day older then when she disappeared.
"Kikyo look its Kagome." Inuyasha said running toward her with kikyo in his arms.
"Kagome ." kikyo shouted waving and smiling.
Once they got to where she was standing.
"How long was I gone." Kagome asked.
"10 years Kagome although you don't look a day older." Inuyasha said
"That's cause no time has passed for me ive been in the jewel the whole time. Where is Sesshomaru?" Kagome said
"Last i knew he was at the castle do you want us to send word?" Kikyo asked
"Yes as fast as we can get a note to him." Kagome said
Kagome followed them to the village watching them he was happy and smiling all the time. she liked seeing him happy. Once they got to the village they called Rin to call Ah-Au to take the note to Sesshomaru. Which the dragon happy to see her took the note to him leaving fast as if he knew something we didn't. they all and dinner and turned in for the night.
Sesshomaru
While filling out paper work for the whole mating game his mom set up after his mate went missing. he hated it but knew to keep his lands safe he must do it. while sitting he felt Ah-Au coming in fast
'Why has he returned.' Sesshomaru thought.
Ah-Au landing and handing him a note he froze as he read it.
"Jaken your in charge till i return." Sesshomaru said taking to the sky
'Is it her can it be how.' Sesshomaru thought as he race to endo.
It was just about morning when Sesshomaru arrived at the village he could feel her in the Miko's hut. Kagome sensing his arrival shot out of bed and out the door. The moment he saw her he rushed to her wrapping his arm around her.
"When did you get back and how." Sesshomaru asked while she was in his arms.
"Last night that's why i asked Ah-Au to take the note to you it was the fast way i knew to do so." Kagome said
"Where were you ive been looking for you for ten years." Sesshomaru questioned.
"In the jewel it made me choose. I choose to come back because of you." Kagome said
"Because of me?" Sesshomaru said
"Yeah when were you going to tell me that you were my mate? according to the Kami you have known since the first day we met." Kagome said Sesshomaru being caught off guard.
"You seemed happy with my brother why would I intervene if you were happy." Sesshomaru said
"But why?" Kagome said looking up at him.
"Because you being happy means more to me. even if its not with me." Sesshomaru said softly placing his hand under her chin.
"I wish you would have told me." Kagome said
"Well now you know. What would you like to do." Sesshomaru asked.
"Id like to go with you and be by your side." Kagome said smiling.
'She wants us.' Sesshomaru's beast jumped with joy.
'of course she wants us.' Sesshomaru told him.
"Then you shall come with me back home." Sesshomaru said
Kagome sporting the biggest smile grabbed her stuff. and took his hand and they took to the sky. It was night fall by the time they arrived at the western palace. Sesshomaru went straight to his balcony windows landing looking down at Kagome she had fallen asleep in his arms. Walking over to his bed he genitally laid her down putting his moko with her she cuddled into it sighing. Sesshomaru hearing his mothers rant about leaving coming straight to his room. he decided to lay there with her till she came barging in the room.
"Just what do you think your doing leaving right before the mating games." Kimi Demands freezing noticing the small female in his arms.
"My mate has returned the game is not happening anymore mother i will mate Kagome as i Had planned to do so." Sesshomaru said breathing in her soft scent.
"Sesshomaru you cant just say we are not having it now she will just have to fight for your hand like the five others who have been waiting for the games." She told him
'She was right he couldn't just do that but he didn't want to chance her safety.' Sesshomaru thought.
"We will talk to her in the morning now please leave i'm spending the night with my mate." Sesshomaru said pulling Kagome closer.
She walked out of the room. leaving Sesshomaru to be. Sesshomaru snuggled closer to her wanting her scent more then anything. The peace that fell over him now that she was home. His beast settled down for the first time in awhile he was content and quite. With that Sesshomaru slowly fell into sleep holding on to Kagome. The night passed smoothly Kagome sleeping all night. Waking up and streching she noticed an arm wrapped around her. Sesshomaru stayed with her. Looking at his sleeping form. The peace she had never seen on his face before. Making her smile wide knowing she was the reason for his peace. Sesshomaru sensing her being awake slowly opened his eyes seeing her watch him he smiled.
"Good morning Mate." Sesshomaru said kissing her forehead.
"Good morning." Kagome said blushing.
"Let us bathe then we will go down for breakfast." Sesshomaru said
Kagome followed him to the hot spring that was connected to his room. It was large Kagome not wasting time stripped down and got in the water.
"So we do have to talk about one thing and I don't want you to do it but i cant just Stop you either." Sesshomaru said.
"What do you mean." Kagome said
"The mating game my mom had been working on for the last five month your gonna have to compete for the right to be my mate now." Sesshomaru said
"What do you mean compete for you." Kagome said
"Because you were gone so long. we had to start looking at other options and i will stick to my honor no matter what i know you can beat them." Sesshomaru said
"I understand but what will I have to do." Kagome asked
"You will have to beat five other females that have join the mating game." Sesshomaru said
"Five?" Kagome said
"Indeed i am sot after by many." Sesshomaru replied.
"I see and your sure i can win." Kagome said.
"Yes you will your smarter." Sesshomaru said.
"Glad you have so much faith in me when does it start." Kagome asked
"Tomorrow afternoon." Sesshomaru said
After they finished bathing and getting dressed Kagome choosing to wear a mask to hide her turn identity hide her scent as well and followed Sesshomaru in to the food hall. Sesshomaru taking her to her seat he sat at the head with Kagome on his right.
"This is the last contestant games will start tomorrow after lunch. Now lets eat." Sesshomaru said
The five other girls giving Kagome a glare.
"Everyone state there name and family Sesshomaru asked starting with Kagome all the girls gave name and family's.
"Kagome endo family" Kagome said
"Raine Eastern family" Raine said proudly
"Tiarra Northern family." Tiarra said
"Crysta Northeast family." Crysta said
"Yuki southern family." Yuki said
"Bree South western family." Bree said
"Now please everyone eat." Sesshomaru said Keeping an eye on Kagome.
They all slowly started to eat after he had taken the first bite. Kagome had different food brought out for her. Since she was not a demon her food needed cooked. A few of the women notice that the chief brought out cooked food for Kagome.
"Why are you not eating like the rest of us." Raine demanded
"Maybe because I cant eat like you." Kagome snarled at her.
"So your human." Raine said standing straight up from her spot at the table.
"Why is a human allowed to take part in the mating games. Tiarra asked.
"Because she has shown her self worthy." Sesshomaru said.
"How she is just a worthless human." Raine said snarly.
"She has saved this ones life." Sesshomaru said. Everyone froze and looked at Sesshomaru.
"What do you mean a human saved you." Raine demanded.
" You will do well not to question this Sesshomaru, if you chose to live." Sesshomaru said in a cold tone.
Raine sank back down in her seat embarrassed. Kagome held her head high she watch Sesshomaru give the rules to the games and the 5 tasks and the last standing wins.
"Any cheating will be immediate disqualifications for any participant." Sesshomaru said
The rest of the day went by pretty fast everyone getting ready in there own way beside Kagome. She rather spend the time by Sesshomaru side then preparing.
"Why are you not preparing Mate." Sesshomaru said next to my ear.
"Cause i don't need to I know how to fight i just don't normally put effort into it due to my own things that i hide. Kagome said laughing
"and what are you hiding dear miko ." Sesshomaru said purring in her ear.
"You will have to find that out for your self." Kagome said
"And when will that be." Sesshomaru said.
"After the games and we mate." Kagome said smiling.
The night came and went and the first battle was soon to start. each girl had there weapon of choice. Waiting in a line for Sesshomaru to give the ok for the games to begin. Sesshomaru looking down at the 6 women in front of him only one which he wanted to mate. lifting his hands let the games begin.
The Games
Kimi walked forward
"Rules have been told and will be followed. each one of you we fight each other one at a time this is a point system game if you lose the match you are disqualified from the next match so don't lose." Kimi said
"BEGIN" Sesshomaru bellowed the first two girls started. Tiarra and Yuki.
which Tiarra easily won the match. then it was crysta and raine with raine winning the match. then it was Bree and me with Kagome beating bree easily. Bree and Yuki fought bree winning. then it was Tiarra and raine with Tiarra winning. then it was Crysta and me with me winning. then it was Raine and Yuki with raine winning. then it was Yuki and crysta with crysta winning.
"Yuki you have been emanated." Kimi said
"The next game will take place after dinner battle of speed." Sesshomaru said.
Kagome smiling at how she did. walked to the garden Kagome wanted to meditate. Sesshomaru watched Kagome head for the garden as a few of the women gathered asking there current score. which wasn't going to be given until the finally test anyway. After everyone dissipated Sesshomaru headed after Kagome. Kagome was sitting next to the pond Sesshomaru had built. Her energy swirling around her a deep purple instead of pink. there was something different about this power it was familiar to him almost like the jewel of four souls. Kagome took a deep breath and her powers started to turn pink again.
"So? You mind telling me why your powers went from purple to pink?" Sesshomaru said with a raised eye brow.
"Not yet although I think you will figure it out in the next day or so." Kagome said laughing.
"Or maybe I already have an idea. I just want you to say it."Sesshomaru said.
"Well you will just have to wait." Kagome said. She smiled big at him.
A servant Brought Sesshomaru and Kagome a plater of food. Kagome smiled as she grabbed a chunk of cooked meat and tossed it into her mouth. Sesshomaru smiled watching her eat knowing she is gonna need her energy for the net task.
"How do you think you did." Sesshomaru asked
"Pretty good." Kagome said
"You did amazing." Sesshomaru said
After they had eaten they headed back to where the games were being held.
"Next round starting soon." Kimi bellowed.
The girls gathered around waiting to find out what the next challenge will be. Sesshomaru walked up yo his mom.
"Next challenge will be that of knowledge." Sesshomaru said
"The objective before you its simple get to the other side. Crysta you will start this round." Kimi said
With that said everyone proceeded to the area to watch as she crossed the distance. Crysta was fast speed was one of her best skills. Within no time she was across the ravine. everyone but Kagome in awe. Kagome smiled Knowing her type of demon skills is what grant her such speed but she did end up taking 3 hits crossing.
"Next up will be Kagome." Kimi said with an evil grin. Sesshomaru glared at her.
Kagome got up and walked to the line to start from observing her surroundings she noticed a pattern and started following it walking with grace. with each step people watched in awe. Not missing one step missing all the hits she danced thought the course laughing and smiling. as she spun around Sesshomaru caught her face in pure joy he couldn't help but smile at the happy miko dancing her way through the test with no marks against her. Once she reached the other side she turned to see a smiling Sesshomaru and mad girls and a shocked Kimi. Kagome tilted her head a bit and gave a big grin. As she walked back to the area to watch she had a perfect score Raine snorted.
"Next up is Raine." Kimi said
She finished flawlessly with one error which she tried to fight. Bree followed her making two mistakes. Then Tiarra followed but fell half way through.
"Tiarra you are eliminated." Kimi said
"Next test will be that of stealth you must hide and not be found if you are found you are out last one not found wins." Kimi said
"The test will begin shortly prepare yourselves." Sesshomaru said.
Kagome smiled wide she loved hide and seek. She was gonna beat them all. Laughing under her breath. They had no idea she could completely hide herself. Snickering to her self she vanished. Sesshomaru sensed the moment Kagome vanished looking around he pushed out his senses and couldn't find her any where along with her scent its gone he inwardly groaned.
As the test went on Crysta was found first then Bree was found all that was left was me a Raine. Kagome saw how Raine was hiding her self and she silently chuckled. Kagome had no effort to hide her scent aura and everything. Kagome watch as another hour ticked by and Raines energy started to falter and fickler. She was found shortly after.
"Lady Kagome has won the round please show your self." Kimi Bellowed making sure i heard her.
Everyone was shocked when i appeared right next Raine.
"How did you get there." Raine demanded.
"I was there the hole time before you ever even tried to hide." Kagome said with a shrug.
"Crysta and Bree you have been eliminated. Leaving Kagome of Endo and Raine of the eastern family left the last battle will be held tomorrow night and this will be a fight to submission." Kimi said
Sesshomaru watched Kagome's reaction to the next test but found she didn't even flinch.
'How is she gonna make a full demon submit to her.' he wondered.
'How indeed she has proven worthy but even I know how hard it can be to make a female submit.' Sesshomaru's beast says had watching the whole ordeal interested him.
'Tomorrows battle will be a big one.' Sesshomaru replied to his beast.
Sesshomaru watches as Kagome heads up the stairs heading for the hot spring no doubt. He followed her Wanting to know how she planned to deal with tomorrows battle. Once he reached her room he slid the door open to find her half naked walking to the hot spring door.
"Yes Sesshomaru can i help you." Kagome said covering her breast.
"Do i need a reason to see you." Sesshomaru countered.
"Not really." Kagome said with a sly smile.
"How did you manage to disappear earlier." Sesshomaru asked curiously.
"I can't tell you but i can show you push out your sense's while i do it and i wanna see if you can sense the change and how i did it." Kagome said as she stood in front of him she started to fade invisible.
Sesshomaru's eyes went wide as he felt it for a split second the jewel she was the jewel.
"You became the jewel." Sesshomaru said quietly
"Yes i am the jewel and i carry all the powers the jewel itself carried as my own." Kagome said
"That how you are a human with demon ability's." Sesshomaru said chuckling.
"Yes there is gonna be one more change but that wont happen till we are mated." Kagome said
"More changes?" Sesshomaru said
"Yes but i think you will enjoy that one." Kagome said laughing
"Hnn." Sesshomaru said following her into the hot spring.
Kagome stripped down stepping into the hot spring sighing. She welcomed the warmth to her well used muscles today. Sesshomaru smirked as she got in the water stripping and following her in the water. He sat on one of the edge benches in the water, relaxing back he closed his eyes. Kagome glanced at Sesshomaru as he sat down and laid back. Letting his eyes close she smiled the peace across his face was beautiful. She walked over to where he was and sat down across from him. He opened his eyes seeing her watch him made his heart start to race. Using one of the buckets she dumped water over her head washing her hair out. Sesshomaru watched as the water cascaded down her body, following every curve he took a shaky breath. She was beautiful her ebony hair and cream skin. She had two markings one was the scar from the jewel the other he was not sure but it was pretty. On the back of her right shoulder was a coyote with two paw prints he had never seen such markings.
"What." Kagome said seeing that Sesshomaru was staring
"The marking on your back where did you get it." Sesshomaru asked.
"Its called a Tattoo Where i'm from they can do anything you want as long as it can be drawn." Kagome said
"Hnn what is its purpose." Sesshomaru asked
"Just for looks they don't really have a purpose. The coyote is just my favorite animal." Kagome said
"Well it fits you." Sesshomaru said
Kagome looked at him.
"How so Sesshomaru." Kagome asked
"I'll tell you one day miko." Sesshomaru said hiding a smirk.
Kagome huffed wanting to know sooner. Once she had finished cleaning her self she stood up out of the water walking over to wear her clean clothes were. Sesshomaru watched her as she began drying her self off. His eyes slowly running over her body. Sesshomaru feeling his base instincts rise he turned away taking a deep breath. Glancing back as Kagome she had knocked over a bottle. She was bent over ass bare to the world picking up the bottle. Sesshomaru growled inward. but just enough that Kagome had heard him. She giggled which made Sesshomaru turn to her.
"Women don't test me. Sesshomaru said in a horse voice.
Kagome giggled straighting her self out .
"Why whats the matter lord Sesshomaru." Kagome said with a grin.
"You know very well what the matter is." Sesshomaru said watching her blush.
Kagome finished getting dressed and rushed out of the room laughing . Once she was back in her room she went to work fixing her hair which was a mess. Running a comb through her hair she heard Sesshomaru leave the hot spring and enter back into his room. once she had finished her hair she decided to knock on Sesshomaru's door then sliding it open to her surprise Sesshomaru stood naked and smiled at her watching her turn fifty shades of red before she slammed the door closed. Kagome stood outside the door frozen bright red till Sesshomaru slid the door open again to find she hadn't moved.
"Did seeing this one naked startle you." Sesshomaru asked quite amused.
"A bit i am a virgin after all." Kagome said as she started walking down the hall way.
Sesshomaru froze mid-step at her admission.
'She is untouched? With all the time she was with my brother she never gave into him?' Sesshomaru thought.
'She is as pure as they come.' Sesshomaru's beast agreed.
'Agreed' Sesshomaru said to his beast
as they arrived at the dinning area everyone else had already eaten and returned to there rooms for the night. Kagome and Sesshomaru waited as a few servants rushing about bringing some different foods out. they sat quietly and ate. after Kagome had finished her serving she looked over to Sesshomaru to find him staring of into space.
"Hai Sesshomaru." Kagome said getting his attention.
"Yes." Sesshomaru replied
"What do you think the chances of me making her submit before killing her." Kagome asked?
"Depends on how smart she is during the fight." Sesshomaru offered.
"So chances are this is more gonna be a fight to the death?" Kagome asked
"Indeed it will be." Sesshomaru said
"Well i should turn in for the night rest is gonna be needed for tomorrow." Kagome said
"Goodnight Kagome " Sesshomaru said as he watched her leave.
Kagome made her way down the halls to her room for the night tomorrows battle on the forefront of her mind.
'She will submit one way or another.' Kagome thought
'Oh she will submit she has no choice in the matter.' Kagome heard in her head
'Who is that.' Kagome asked
'I'm the jewels in being form. it replied
'Then how do you know she will submit.'Kagome asked
'Well lets just say the change is gonna happen during the battle tomorrow.' It replied to Kagome.
'So am i demon or what how do i have a being.' Kagome asked
'Well i can explain a bit since the pure holy power is what was needed to destroy the jewel the yokai in the jewel had to go some where so it now resides inside of you.' It said
'So you have been here the whole time.' Kagome asked
'Well yes but as you have use what holy power you have left has let me come forward now. My name is jasmin by the way.' Jasmin said
'So tomorrow everyone will know.' Kagome said
'Yes no one will be able to touch you except Sesshomaru.' Jasmin said
'Ok.' Kagome said finding silence again she crawled into bed and laid down letting the dark take her.
The morning came to fast sun filtering across the bed Kagome stretched. Looking out the door she could see it was hours past sunrise. Putting on her fighting garb so todays battle would be easier Kagome threw one of her floor length dresses over the top. putting her hair in a high pony tail with a purple ribbon wrapped around to keep her hair in place. Sliding open the door Kagome made her way down to the dinning room. Once there she talked to the cook who started making her food. Kagome ok he place at the table where she sat the last few times. Short while later the cook came back with two plates of food setting one at Sesshomaru's spot the other one in front of her. she was about to ask when the door opened and Sesshomaru came in taking his place at the table.
"Morning Lord Sesshomaru." Kagome said smiling
"Morning Lady Kagome." Sesshomaru said as he sat down.
"Are you ready for the fight tonight?" Sesshomaru asked eating some of the bore.
"As ready as i will be it's gonna be a great show that's for sure." Kagome said with a chuckle.
"What do you mean?" Sesshomaru asked
"Well lets just say my final phase will happen tonight. during the event and then maybe you will put pieces together." Kagome said
"What do you mean?" Sesshomaru asked
"You will see tonight kinda curios to what your reaction is gonna be as well." Kagome said
"Hnn" Sesshomaru said
After she had finished eating Sesshomaru took her to the library until time for the fight Kagome was reading old miko books. Not sure what she was looking for. He decided to sit and watch her. watching her eyes as she read threw the books. finding what she is looking for she hand Sesshomaru a book. History of the shikon no tama.
"This will answer any Question's after tonight." Kagome said
Opening the book written by the first miko. he read over the first page about the jewel and the energy it carries.
