Chapter 51:Shadow war part 4
Meanwhile as the battle for rmenant was going on deep in the woods right now. Their was a bunker in vale with several others right now but in one of them where some of them. Inside several people where nside the bunker right now with all of them worried as they wondered how the battle outside was going right now
But they all were cramped inside the bunker right now as some of the adults did their best to keep the children calm right now. While huntsman and huntress who volunteered to stay behind came here right now.
Though with the familys of the group right now all huddle in their one spot. Willow kept rocking artyom in her arms hugging him close with wren sticking close to his mother. Verona was their with her rifle out right now at the ready for anything while holding her daughter was fiye as her and suzu stayed behind.

Back out on the battlefield on a certain part of it fighting right now was velvet. Who switched to a pair of dual swords swinging and slicing her way through some grimm right now. With her ramming her blade through a beowulf skull ripping it out like a lawnmower cord before throwing the digtiized sword into another grimm head killing it
By her side where a few others mainly being some people she was dating. As their was ling who was not using any weapons. Excpet her fist as she dodged a strike from a talon operiatve before kneeing them in the gut stunning them
Then experrtly she jabbed them in certain spots of their bodie as they groaned falling to the ground becoming unconscious as she knew how to block certain points in the body. Before immediately someone lunged at her slicing her aura that flashed bright red with her growling
"Now you did it!"she shotued before swinging her foot forward cracking their jaw as her heel made contact sending them to the ground.
While their was rei who was doging some grimm right now with a long glaive type staff. It was golden on the end with a red cloth tied to it as the handle of it was white.
In a swift fashion she air hiked a grimm into the air that came crashing back down. Riaisng her spear up it landed on top of it getting impaled as she tore her spear out killing it with a stalker shooting its tongue out trying to grab her.
But she saw it coming swiftly avoiding it as the tongue was about to go back she raised her spear jamming it through their tongue. The grimm cried out in pain with her running forward as she lunged forward curbstompings its head in with a loud crack being heard
As it turned to dust she quickly retriev her spear twirling it ready for a fight.
Then their was taokaka who was giggling like crazy as the cat fanus leaped forward slicing and dicing her way through the grimm before her right now. With her swiftly dicing one into shreds as from her long sleeves a pair of long razor sharp claws where their coming from her hood as she smiled with a toothy grin
"Yeah fun!"she cheered as a sabyr roared charign at the cat faunus who looked distracted. But she heard a noise before turning around seeing the sabyr smiling raising her claws before driving them straight through the grimm underside lfiitng it up rather easily before laughing as she tore it apart
As she was laughing some grimm blood got in her mouth making her cough and gag right now. With her spitting out whatever was in her mouth in disgust on what that was right now
Then their was mavis and cardin right now both the twins tag teamming a talon brute right now. The man swung his fist down trying to crush the twin siblings right now. But they both dodged it regrouping with each other as mavis held a rapier out in hand
"Whats the plan you take the front i knock him out?"mavis asked as he gripped his mace presenting his shield
"Lets go with that"he said charging with his shield as the brute expected their raising his arms blocking cardin attempt to shield bash him. But he noticed cardin smiling at him
"What are you smiling at vermin"he asked as cardin smiled pressing a button on his shield. With the front of it lighting up before launching a purple shockwave forward launching the brute onto the ground hard as mavis came in wrapping her legs around his neck beginning to choke him out. As she did quickly
Standing up her brother smiled tapping his shield"good old upgrade for my shield like pietro did. Were making good work on this sector right now"cardin replied as with them was jackie right now along with merrick. As the huntsman whipped his brow
"Dam kid your right but uhhh….why are their so many over here right now?"he questioned as a shadow loomed over head as velvet looked up sighing
"Thats why"Velvet saw as in the skies was desdemona who caws as the large owl like beast snatched up a nevermore eaisly. Before dive bombing it down into the battleifled creating a large dust cloud in the area right now. The nevermore cired out for a release as the owl creature opened its beak tearing into its face right now before crushing its neck as it turned into dust.
While by her side was pana with her shotgun out along with a few gravekeepers right now. As their was amilee, ryker and two in cloaks. The owl creature panted right now before turning into a pile of goo as rushing over ryker hoisted desdemona out who coughed going into a wheezing fit right now
"Are you okay ma'am?"rei asked as she jabbed a grimm in the skull tearing her spear out as the old women panted gagging a little
"I..i think i'm spent…i ran out of aura…i almost lost it out their"Desdemona said as ryker sighed
"Don't worry auntie your fine. Besides you all seen slade or my dumb cousin?"ryker asked as they stared at each other
"Ummmm no wasn't he with you guys?"jackie questioned taking cover right now
"Emphize on the was. Lilith went to help walker and her wifes team i don't know where my dad and nephew went"pana said but a loud howl caught their attention right now. Looking over they saw several grimm leaping at something
That being dawn who was running around the battlefield right now but on her back was her master. With slade their as he was firing at the grimm on her back killing any grimm that leaped at them. The large wolf jumped over some grimm before catching a teryx mid air that screeched in pain
The wolf like dog growled shaking it around like a chew toy before putting it in her mouth. The she chewed on it swallowing as her master and other rider got off with her immediately pouncing ontop of a goliath mauling it with her claws as she kept mauling any grimm in her way
As they got off immediately a grimm lunged at zane who jumped back dodging it bringing out his guanlents blades. Leaping forward he drove the blades into its skull tearing it out before swiftly jamming them into another skull
Slade leaped forward swiftly ejecting the spent magazine from his pistol. Then digging into his pouch throwing them to the air as they came back down moving his pistols around he swiflty reloaded them. Then he fired into a beowulf knees taking them out then he placed the barrel of his gun blowing its brain out.
With another leaping at him from behind slashing at him scratching his armor slightly as he growled. Dodging the next hit easily he fired a few bullets into its chest cavity making it fall back onto the ground with him cursbtomping its head in killing it twisting his foot on the ground before holstering his pistol pulling out his katanas
Then he lepaed forward slashing and slicing his way cutting down any grimm that stood in his way by jamming one katana in ones head. Tearing it out he threw his katana into another quickly sunning over as he slashed through one midsection cutting it in half before swiftly retrieving his katana continuing to fight right now.
With zane he changed to his katana himself dodging a strike from a sabyr as he drove remorse into its back. With him doding another sabyr that tried to bite him but he swiftly gutted it with meirlcess before gunfire rang out hitting his armor
Looking back a squad of talon operatives where coming for the two as slade groaned
"Welp guess we gotta deal with them keep up kiddio"he said dashing forward as zane scoffed igniting the dust in his katana as one ignited in an icy mist the other with fire as he scrapped them together before sprinting forward
With slade avoiding two strikes from two oepritve at once before swiftly jamming his katana in one chest. Then swift sliced the others head clean off deciding to kill them to make this easier. Then another one fired a shotgun at him as his armor took it but he lunged forward flip kicking their jaw
This made them stumble back dropping the shotgun with slade picking it up aiming it at their head. Firing it off the shotgun blew their head up as they fell down dead with him pumping in a new shell. He got to work shooting at them while his grandson was too
Dodging a strike from two operative he swiftly stabbed one in the leg with the ice covered katana. Their leg began to freeze as they couldn't move as he used the other handle to shatter the ice as they cried in pain missing their leg. The second slashed at his armor scratching with him swinging his swords in unison launching them back into the battlefield.
Staring down at three of them reeling his katanas back he pressed a button activating the arch upgrade. Throwing them forward he launched a combined elementally arc of fire and ice knocking them down to the ground. As he swiftly sheathed them pulling out nightshade in its bo staff form
In a swift motion he spun it around whacking a soldier helmet clean of. Then he whacked him in the face again dislcoating their jaw as they fell to the ground. Another one leaped on his back as he tried to stab him in the back. But going into his titan form the blade shattered as it hit the thick armor
Tearing them off his back zane lifted his foot smashing their legs as they cried in pain with him swinging forward knocking them out. Switching to its sniper form he coruched down before expertly shooting down a few grimm attacking some soilders. As another talon soldier tackled him as he landed close to their feet
The soldier tried to stab him but taokaka ran over kicking him off of her man before hoisting him up sticking her tongue out
"Mine"she said as he gently shoved her way as the soldier came at him again. But he caught him this time putting him in a headlock chocking him out as slade walked over panting a little right now feeling the heat coming
"Hot dam this gets the blood boiling right now. I'm having fun with this"slade said as zane choked the soldier out who fell to the ground as they all stared at each other as jackie laughed
"Man your nuts…anyone else ready to pass out right now…my aura aint doing so good"jackie said as desdemona coughed wheezing with dawn walking over whining before laying down on her four paws.
"Good thinking girl. Take her back to the command tent to rest up go on"zane said as dawn barked with her running off right now carrying desdemona to safety with ryker following after to keep them safe. With rei panting right now
"Okay this is nuts…but is anyone else getting tired?"Rei asked as they all were with zane digging a syringe out injecting himself which ling noticed

"Sort of the serums carmine made increase out auras. Useful but dam its exhausting to be using my semblance this much"amilee replied exhausted with taokaka panting as her tail sagged

It snarled eyeing one person"your going to pay for killing me traditor!"kiyo shouted as zane laughed drawing his revolvers
"Awww is the snake mad that she got turned ugly…too bad your prettier now this time. "He taunted as taokaka laughed as kiyo snarled opening her jaw extending her mouth hissing at them but laughter could be heard as a familiar scent came to velvet.
Clapping his hands coming from behind was scar who smiled at them as by his side was x-2 dragging a dead spartans corpse tossing them by their feet.
"Did you know that soldier? We killed a few over here…kiyo well ate some of them"scar said with a grin as cardin scoffed pointing his mace at him
"Blah blah blah. Enough talk metal fist because this time i might just cross a line to shut you up"cardin said as velvet growled bringing out fox tonfas tiwlring them around

But across the way with onxyia and the others right now they where having a tough time to deal with ollie right now. As he jammed his spider like legs forward piercing a faunus through the torso killing them. With diego running forward swinging his spear forward to try and hit him but the spider creature swatted to the side hissing at him before opening its mouth
It fired a web ball out as diego dodged it with the glob hitting the ground growling
"Dam that brat you took in dec is pretty stubborn!"he called out as declan fired a round from his rifle hitting it in the chest but it shurgged it over swinging its large limbs at them like a madman right now.

As they all ducked as instead of webs it was acid that covered the ground catching one faunus. They screamed in agony falling back into the trench with xander flinching as the faunus skin was melting off his skull with his eyeballs popping
Xander gagged before vomiting onto the ground with vergil shivering at the sight right now as his aura broke while fighting right now.
"Ambrosie do you know anything that might help us kill it?"he asked his husband who stared at the spider creature. Who dug its claws into a soldier picking them up bitting down tearing their upper half off eating it right now with him slinking down
"Hell no! That aint the normal brat from before he got bigger and creepier!"he said
As ollie kept swinging his limps at them but some people specifically right now. That being onxyia who kept leaping and doging his strikes with his limbs. But he kept swinging them at her muttering something aloud right now to himself

She tossed the broken limp that turned to goo as she panted before gesturing to come get some
"Come get me i aint letting you harm my girlfriend creepo"dakota taunted making the creature eye her from its vision onxyia was glowing through a red vision as he narrowed his beady eyes onto dakota as he snarled hissing
"Kill….covered…in…her…scent"ollie said making her flinch as he lunged at her trying to gobble her up. As she leaped out of the way right now but he did something right now. Moving his mouth back he fried a web at dakota as she got her leg caught by him
The creature began to use its thred to pull her in as dakota screamed in fear trying to grab anything to stablize herself. As razputin landed into the trenches dante and vergil went wide eyed seeing a bloody hole in his chest as dante crawled over in tears placing his hands over the holes trying to stop the bleeding
"You'll be fine dad…you'll be fine…please hold on…please hold on"dante cried as vergil stood over his father in tears as razputin smiled at his two sons right now coughing up some blood struggling to breath for a moment
"Its too late son….this is my time….just…make sure to bury me somewhere nice…like we did with your mother"razptuin said as vergil layed ontop of his father in utter shock with tears running down his face

'I'm sorry for how i treated you son….you were a good man…your mother supported you. I treated you terrible but….how about taking that kid you two are adopting on fishing trips….remeber…the old…lake i took you two"razputin said as vergil began to sob hugging him father as dante hugged him to
The man smiled embracing his son one last time. Before he breathed his last closing his eyes with a smile on his face as dante before to cry in utter agony right now with vergil sobbing hugging his father. With ambroise growling right now eyeing trifia who nodded
Immediately she leopard forward as the spider creature smacked declan back. But soon a different web was launched around its legs with trifa running around in a circle trying to tie it up right now. But as the creature raised its leg to slice it
Suddenly a familiar whip and ribbon wrapped around its leg. Leaping forward was ilia running in an opposite direction of trifa as blake landed with sun smiling
"Bought time you showed up belladonna!"sun said
"Help me trap him then put him down no one deserves this"blake said as he nodded as she ran forward with the spider creature spitting more acid at them but ilia lepaed over it. As blake summoned three ice clones who leaped forward impacting the spider limps on the creature freezing them over.
It cried out in pain with sun slamming his fist together to use the last of his aura. With nix notching a arrow back with a rope tied to it launching it forward with two of the clones leaping up grabbing it. As they all began to run around in a circle right now. With the nearby allies of their running over grabbing the rope
Blake skitted to a stop as two others joined her with her pulling back hard. All of them stopped pulling back hard with the spider creatue tumbling to the creature right now hissing and screeching at them trying to bite them with vergil standing up picking up his sword walking over
Vergil riased it above its head"DIE YOU MONSTER!"he cried bringing the blade down but something happened as blocking the strike was adam to their shock as trifa grunted loosing grip on her webs with sun clones struggling to stay

With declan noticing this closing his eyes"you don't need to do it tarrus stand aside"he said as adam appreciated it walking to the side limping. With declan walking forward seeing the strange creature but from his perspective he saw the poor spider faunus he brought in to provide him a loving home
His vision returned to the current event as the spider creature made a cracking noise staring at him right now
"Sorry…p-please…kill…meee…it hurts….it hurts"it cried in ollies voice sounding distorted as the man slowly exhaled. Closing his eyes he raised his blade driving it through its head as the creature went silent and still right now. Slowly it started to turn into goo then it started to turn into a large skeletons that was charred looking abnormal right now
They stood in silence as sun panted for a moment"well….shit…is it bad i feel bad for the guy now?"he asked as sombra wrapped her arm around his shoulders
"He was just misguided is all sunny. Come on we gotta regroup with the others right now were getting swarmed"sombra said as they began to pull back right now with adam glancing back at the creature who was his friend looking forward hoping he lives on in a better life.
Meanwhile battling against more grimm right now was loki and some others. As he sliced down five of them with his whipblades arm cutting them to shreds before retracting the blade back as he panted molting his armor off gagging
"Shit…shit man theirs too many of them coming…theirs just too many!"he shouted as with was thistie, tyra, bombay, yumi, yahto and several huntsman and soldiers right now. With them all being pushed back as a grimm lunged at a soldier tearing into their throat as they cried out in pain
But yahto swung his tomahawk cutting them down panting as he changed to his pistol firing at the apporaching husk right now.
"Dammit! We gotta get to hill and the others right now where getting swarmed out here!"yahto called out to them as thisite swung her staff forward panting before falling to her knees right now as her aura frizzled out into purple particles
"I…i can't keep going…i'm spent"thisite said as bombay looked back
"Thisite come on we gotta keep moving"bombay said as thisite was picking herself up but something happened. Suddenly a whirring noise could be heard as thisite gasped in pain right now. Looking over yumi eyes widden as thisite was yanked into someone grip
That being katan who held the girl by her throat before ramming her blade into her back as thisite gasped in pain coughing up blood right now. With bombay going completely wide eyed in shock right now. Katan threw her hard onto the ground as thisite bounced up with tyra going wide eyed
"Thisite!"she cried out running over to her aid right now sliding over. As bombay ran over with the others staring down katan but as bombay got over she saw that her partner eyes where lifeless right now. This made bombay drop her weapons to the ground in shock right now as something happened with her vision slightly changing showing that it was her family infront of her right now. Before her one silver eyes went completely black went loki noticed looking scared
The cat faunus turned to katan who gestured for her come get her as bombay roared in rage grabbing weapons
"DIE!"she screamed running forward letting that side of her eyes take hold of her right now for what this assassin just did to someone she considered family right now.
With that we see that bombay lost control with some deaths in this chapter happeing. I wanted to kill off a few charaters for the near future as a ending for this volume But thanks for reading!
