Chapter 52:Shadow war Part 5
On the opposite side of the battlefield right now fist where clashing with each other right now. As swords also clahsed as slade and x-2 katana clashed with each other creating sparks that went flying all over the place right now. As the two got locked in a power struggle he grunted for a moment smiling as his helmet got knocked off
"Pretty good…but…i'm better…you….copycat!"slade said pushing out of their power struggle. Then he swung his katana upward knocking x-2 back into the air as he leaped onto the ground perfectly twirling his katana presenting them
By the old man side was his daughter who growled in complete annoyance right now
"Who the heck is this guy! Why the hell does he have your blasted armor on!"pana shotued as he looked puzzled
"No clue must be a copy cat or…."slade paused recalling something from the past before presenting his katana to him
"Mind showing us your face buddy?"slade added
This made x-2 stare at the two with the sound of battle being heard right now. The assassin buried both katana into the ground gripping the sides of his helmet right now before removing it as pana eyes widden in complete shock
Standing before her was an extract copy of her father but he had short spiky black hair with his missing eye still. As he seemed to be in his thirites right now as slade laughed loudly right now to the skies as battle raged around them
"How dam i knew those moves where too familiar they where my dam moves"slade said but his daughter looked back and forth in shock before growling
"God dammit that bastard watts made a stupid clone of my dumb dad! What the fuck how did this even happen?!"pana shouted but before they could question further x-2 slipped his helmet back on lunging forward for the attack swinging at the two as they narrowly dodged it
As it cut a few of her hairs off with slade smiling right now eyeing his helmet near x-2 feet. The assassin noticed this before kicking it over to him as he smiled slipping it back on presenting his katanas to his own little copy right now with a grin
"So you got my little old warriors honor i can respect that. Me…and you lets go!"slade cheered as x-2 cracked his neck leaping forward to fight the older him as the two assassin blades clashed with each other right now with sparks flying all over the place
Then their was rei and mavis who where both taking cover from x-6. As he was firing a condense stream of fire at them contiosunyl with rei hair almost getting burned off as she growled in annoyance right now
"Dammit we need to get him distracted he keeps firing streams of fire at us and isn't stopping right now"rei said as mavis fired back a few shots from their cover hitting the ground close to him as he growled approaching them slowly right now
As the girl was trying to think of something to help them defeat this flamethrower psycho. Glancing over at jackie who was firing off shots shooting down some grimm with his tec-9 pistols she smiled for a moment before whislting to him
"Hey your jackie right!?"She called out as he ducked for cover looking at her
"I am! You asking me out heard your dating the guy who saved me!"he shouted back as rei laughed for a moment seeing what she was doing
"Mind giving us cover fire and distracting this creep! He won't leave us alone!"rei said as he smiled loading in a new set of magazine
Emerging out of cover he whistled to a few depsardos who nodded taking up a firing line. They all began to open fire onto x-6 right now getting his attention right now with one hitting his flame pack. Seeing this the assassin tore it off with ease before launching back at them
Raising his machine pistol jackie and the others fired at it mid air. The resulting impact blew up the explosive mid air sending a fiery explosion covering some nearby grimm mkaing him smirk right now
With them approaching the assassin who seemed to have no weapon right now as a soilder laughed
"Your weaponeless now asshole time to die"the soilder said but x-6 flexed his hands as mavis stared at his wrist. Suddenly the guanlents on his wrist sported nozzles as she went wide eyed
"Hes got more weapons duck!"mavis shouted out as they all dove for cover. X-6 fired a condense stream of fire and ice at them right now trying to burn them and ice them at the same time. The flames and ice went about them as rei peeked out seeing him crossing his arms cracking his neck pointing it directly at them
"Watts has marked anyone that stands in my way for termination. You'll be ash piles when i'm done with you"x-6 said as she narrowed her gaze slamming her spear into the ground

Velvet kept flipping around like crazy right now using copies of malice and mercy on scar right now. Who kept dodging her shots right now laughing at her with a grin across his face while he did
"You are nothing you dam rabbit! I'm going to enjoy making you suffer for what you did to me back in atlas!"scar shotued drawing his revolver firing off four shots at her. But velvet was quicker dodging all the shots with one grazing her left rabbit ear as she winced with it being slightly clipped now.
As she growled switching tactics she switched to a familiar pair of guanlents. Popping the claws scare recognized them as she was mocking him right now. Before he could counter any attacks a fireball was launched at him sending him back a bit right now. Looking up cardin stepped forward with a confidence look on his face as sweat beated down it
"Lookie here your dealing with two people. Don't have anyone to back you up this time"cardin said as scar scoffed using his semblance right now anaylzing their weakpoints smiling right now seeing the most preferable places to do the most damage
"Well maybe i'll kill you two like i did with yatsu and fox…then maybe i'll make you watch as i excute someone like adel"Scar said using mind games now but velvet blocked him out narrowing her gaze. Immediately she dashed forward lunging her claws at him trying to dig them into his chest
But he fired his revolver off dodging her attack with cardin running in swinging his mace at him several time. As he kept swinging at him with scar reeling his foot back kicking it forward. But cardin lifted his shield blocking his attack. But planting both feet scar began to deliver several swift kicks bashing the shield several times making cardin grunt as he got pushed back just a little right now
Though velvet swiftly made her way around before lunging at scar. She drove the guaneltn forward slicing at his aura making him stumble right now. Planting her feet velvet kickedflip his lower jaw making him stumble as blood went up. Then recovering qucikly scar saw her next attack coming as he side stepped it before gut checking the rabbit in the stomach as she gasped in pain
Velvet fell to her knees and scar smiled punching her in the skull with his metal hands sending her to the ground right now. With him laughing as she gasped coughing for air
"Time to die little girl"scar said ready to finish her off but cardin roared running in swinging his mace into scar sending him hard into a rock as scar gasped falling to his knees. Cardin knelt to velvet who finally got air into her lungs right now
"You okay?"he asked as she exhaled slowly panting
"I'm good i hope the others are having fun with kiyo"velvet said as they continued to fight against scar right now.
But with kiyo the snake women hissed lunging forward trying to snatch up the one who killed her. Though zane dodged it fiirng off a condense stream of revolver shots into her body. But they kept bouncing off her as ling and taokaka dealt with nearby grimm since they had no long range weapons
As kiyo was hisisng with laughter as he fired another shot as it barely did anything to her bodie
"This body is stronger than last time you dam brat! I'll devour your corpse and spit out your bones!"kiyo shouted as he scoffed switching to nightshade as it still glowed right now with him eyeing it for a moment growling holster it switching to his katana
"Gotta save it just incase"he thought before lunging forward with remorse and merciless holding remorse backwards. As kiyo hissed striking lunging at him trying to bite him with her fang. But he slide underneath her slashing at her mid section making her growl right now as a bit of blessing was still on it with him smiling
Realziing that did some damage he rushed forward cotnisounly slahsing at the snake creature lower bodie. With her finding this annoying reeling her jaw back before firing a stream of acidic spit right now at him. Seeing this he leaped backward narrowly dodging it as a burning hole in the ground
With him running around as she kepy firing a stream of acid spit at him. It kept hitting her allies right now but she didn't even care at that point. With him thinking of something as he quickly sheathed his katana eyeing nightshade. If he needs more blessing he can get more.
Immediately as kiyo stopped her assault for a moment he drew nightshade seeing barely any blessing left on it right now. He sighed switching to its axe form holding it with ease smiling at her
"Time to chop you down like a tree!"he cheered running forward as she laughed lunging at him extending her jaw to devour him. But seeing this he flipped the axe backwards pressing the trigger launching himself forward as he slide underneath her to her surprise right now.
Then as he got on the other side of her right now he reeled the axe back before throwing it straight into her bodie. Once it made contact she felt a small burning sensation as she shirked out in utter pain right now with her smacking him back as she eyed her new form her queen gifted her seeing that he made a large hole on her tail massive tail right now
Zane laughed seeing this"guess you can be hurt right now snake….next up the head"he said with a grin as she hissed a little at him right now
Seeing this as a futile effort she needed a way to distract him catch him offguard right now. As that thought came to mind she looked over as ling and taokaka. The two looked very exhausted right now as ling swung her leg forward barely knocking down a cutlist as her aura kept flicking around right now
With taokaka panting heavily as her legs where visible shaking with an idea coming to kiyo mind as she licked her lips letting her tongue shake for a moment
"You know i think i'll go for a snack"kiyo suddenly siad to his confusion as she whipped her tail into him launching him straight into a rock hard as he grunted. As kiyo slithered her way over to the two right now with her towering over them before taokaka looked up screaming right now
Suddenly the snake creature grabbed her with ling noticing this as she rushed in too help her. But kiyo smacked her away shattering her aura as taokaka shivered in fear. Before kiyo did something by undoing her jaw extending it open before closing her jaw onto taokaka right now head. Then she began to scream loudly as it was muffled but it made velvet turn around to the source
Her eyes widden in horror seeing kiyo starting to try and consume her girlfriend right now. With taokaka upper half already down her throat as a outline of her appeared
"Tao!"she cired out as cardin was locked in a power struggle with scar before looking over horrified. Seeing the chance scar smiled breaking free before grabbing cardin arm snapping it as he cried out in pain with his bone piercing through the skin. Then he kicked him back.
Scar changed targets leaping at velvet drop kicking her hard into a rock as she cried out in pain with her aura shattering right now. With him smiling right now as he spin the chamber on his revolver ready to excute her
With x-6 was dealing with them with ease as rei swung at him several times to try and defeat him. But he easily dodged it backhanding her to the ground as mavis and jackie got involved with talon oepriatves. As x-6 aimed the ice nozzle at her legs before doing something
X-6 fired a condense stream of ice onto rei legs where her knees was as she tried to hold it in. but cried out in pain from the cold right now with mavis looking over in shock. As x-6 raised his legs curb stomping both her legs shattering them into ice chunks
Rei let out a cry of agony as pana watched this firing a shotgun blast into x-6 pushing him back. As mavis ran over in tears as rei was crying in pain with both her legs right now where her lower thigh was
"I..i can't feel my legs…i can't feel my legs!"rei cried in agony as jackie ran over scared taking a defense stance.
But watching all of this was zane who sat their in utter shock right now seeing what just happened in mere seconds. As kiyo swallowed taokaka as the snake creature mid section budlged with kicking and muffled screaming being heard right now as she smiled at him
"She was delicious traditor…i think i'll have rabbit next"kiyo said picking up velvet by her ears as she kicked and scream with him having flashes right now. Several flashes of all the people he losts due to this dam war as somethng inside him snapped.
Zane stood up growling and snarling like an animal roaring in immense rage. Turning into his porlwer form he sprinted forward toward kiyo who was trying to place her jaw around velvet who fought back. As she tried pushing her into it but something soon happened
The hybrid leaped forward tearing velvet from his arm tossing her away as getting up was ling who luckily caught her. But the two looked up as he forced himself down her throat to kiyo shock even as her mouth shut as the two stared in shock
"Did he just…go into her mouth?"ling asked confused as kiyo stood their for a moment as her neck buglged heaviyl before her midsection become more livly. But then an intense pain came as she grunted clutching her midsection right now. As it kepy bulging right now but then came the intense pain as she cried out in utter agony right now
As tearing right through her midsection a long blade appeared before slicing her midsection open. Hoping out covered in juice was zane holding taokaka who was shivering right now with her clothes partial melted as she was crying right now. The others rushed over as mavis placed rei on the ground who legs where still bleeding
Jackie sighed in relief"thank god you saved her…but snake lady is still up"he said as zane demonor changed as he growled at the nearby soldiers and x-6 who approached them before he started to laugh right now
He kpet laughing and laughing right now scaring scar right now as zane stepped foward popping both his gaunlents blade before tearing his helmet off revealing a dark grin
"YOUR DEAD WATTS!"he shotued in a dark tone leaping forward into the action right now. The oepratives tried to stop him but failed as he jammed his blades into ones skull pulling it out killing them. With another swinging a axe at him but he caught snapping their wrist before jamming the bone into their neck as they choked to death on their own blood.
Anther soilder fried a few bullets at him but going into his prowler form he lunged forward opening his maw tearing their throat out. As he used his tail to slice one of throats as they clutched it falling to the ground dead. Removing his bloody maw he smiled at the others before attacking them. They watched as he brutally snapped one of their necks turning it all the way around. Next he went into his titan form punching a soldier so hard he put a hole through their chest
Digging his fist out a oepriatve swung their sword into him but it just shattered into tiny pieces. Once that happened he grabbed the top of their head beginning to squeeze as they clutched their head crying in pain as he crushed it. X-6 fired a stream of fire at him but he walked right through it bending the nozzles back as the barrels heated up firing the flames backs into his face as he fell to the ground dead.
After that more soldiers came at him but he tore away a pistol from one grip pistol whipping them. Before firing it into their chest a few time then excuted one after dodging their strike. Then he caught one leg snapping it as they in pain with him jamming a knife through their throat. He kepy brutally killing any soilders that stood in his way.
Then he stared at kiyo who flinched seeing this side of him as he went into his archangel form. His body contorted and cracked all over the place right now before roaring at her. The women tried to leave but he grabbed her tail dragging her back snarling over her
"No…no..no! Watts help me!"She cired but scar stood their frozen in fear right now. As zane jaw cracked open with him biting down hard onto kiyo who cried out in utter agony as the teeth tore through her flesh. Spitting her on the ground she tried to crawl away but raising his massive foot he squished her like a bug curbstomping her into a thin paste
Then he turned to scar who trembled in fear before calling out to x-2
"X-2 get me the hell out of here now!"scar ordered as x-2 broke his lock with slade kicking him back. As he dashed over as the creature lunged to grab him but x-2 snatched him up before throwing down a flashbang covering the area in a bright light right now
As the light died down with the creature snarling in rage slamming his fist into the ground roaring attracting the nearby grimm who started to attack it. But the creature snatched one up opening its maw biting into one eating it before picking up a megaliath with ease slamming it onto the ground killing it with it snarling tearing into the rest
The others watched as mavis looked in shock on what he just did with pana looking worried right now.
"Okay hes pissed!"jackie said the obvious as velvet looked up clutching her side with worry
"We need to get his attention we need medical aid now"velvet said with fear as cardin clutched his arm as he grunted
"Grimm boy snap out of it buddy!"he called out catching the creature attention as it had a uras in it mouth swallowing it whole. As it prolwed over snarling at them which ling noticed as she held taokaka in her arms
"Hey…hey its us…is…is everything alright?"she asked scared now as he snarled at them swiping at them like a wild animal scaring them
"Uhhh i thought you guys said he had control?!"jackie shouted in shock
"Ummm he did but he did use it early crap must be the new curse"slade said as the creature extended it claws but suddenly a tranq shot was shot into it. As it groaned wobbling around falling to the ground turning into goo. As mariana rushed over
"We aint having a repeat of this mess"mariana said from the goo coughing right now was zane who gagged coughing up black tar holding his head curling up. Running over was their backup as cera was their before going wide eyed seeing their injuries
"Holy…we need a dam stretcher shes missing her legs!"cera called out as mariana went wide eyed. Two medics rushed over placing a stretcher out with mavis running over placing rei on it who passed out from her injuries panting for air right now
"Come on we gotta move back to base and regroup. They better have that dam relic"mariana ordered as they quickly ran back to base hoping the others are having an easier time right now
But right now with the other who where fighting off the psycho serial killer family. With tyrain cackling like a madman right now swinging his claws at tanner several times. But he blocked it with his machete right now being pushed back as he panted heavily as he forgot about that dumb semblance the scropian faunus had
As tyrian licked his lips as fresh blood was on it before grinning at him.
"You are an interesting fight shame last time we fought it was so quick"tyrian said in disappointment as tanner scoffed spitting on the ground whipping his bloody mouth off
"Screw you too buddy. Lets have a good old fashion tussle this time your going down for good"tanner said bringing up his machete as dravan tore his mace out a talon soldier he cruhsed tapping it on his palm
"Let me help you teach this punk a lesson"dravan said as the two of them lunged forward to try and defeat him
Tyrian cackled welcoming the two as dravan roared swinging his mace forward to try and crush his skull. But he was more nimble dodging it with ease laughing like a true manic. With tyrian noticing this smiling as he dashed forward with nearby huntsman and huntresses trying to help the two. But in a brutal slaughter he laughed while slitting one throat as they fell to the ground gurgling on their own blood. Then another swung a axe at him but tyrian flipped over them entirely before driving his stinger into the back of their head killing them .
Then he dashed striahgt for dravan who noticed this lifting his weapon wondering what he was doing to do. Thinking he was going for his hear the protect. But instead tyrian drove both gaunlents into dravan metal arm as he cried out in utter agony right now
"Music to my ears! Scream! Scream for me!"tyrian said twisting the blades as draven cried more. Tanner growled lifting his shotgun up firing a shot at him blasting tyrian back but the deed was done. With dravan porthsetic arm sparking right now as it was torn in half to his utter shock
Looking over tyrian held the other part waving the hand to them with a grin across his face

Ember rushed over as eria saw this running over herself as eria winced seeing her sister arm. Rogue had adrenaline still pumping as she gripped her arm as they noticed it
"Rogue don't–"eria was stopped as she did it with her relocating her arm with a loud crack being heard. This made rogue cry out in utter pain right now holding her arm while eria sighed as she knew she wouldn't listen
Rogue slightly flexed her left arm finding it hard to move right now with her sighing right now picking up her axe combining them into one
"Nice save ember"rogue thanked
"She broke my nose bitch deserved it….now…..i..think i'm…i'm going down"ember said as her aura shattered into an orange hue. With her falling onto the ground right now passed out with calida running over catching her as she fell sighing
"Shes out cold must have become exhausted"calida siad but a banshee like cry of rage could be heard. Following the source the three flinched to see it was selket who got the fire out. But her entire bodie was scorheced with her hair with her skin blistering with fresh skin being shown.
"You…bastards! Look what you've done to me?! It'll take weeks in the tar to heal my bodie!"selket cried in agony as eria laughed right back
"At least your just as ugly as your husband now you creep!"eria taunted for once she actually taunted someone. As selket growled picking herself roaring at her trying to kill them which rogue noticed closing her eyes
As selket came at them rogue swung her axe forward into her closing her eyes tight. A painful gasp was heard as rogue slowly opened her eyes going wide. As her axe was sticking out the other side of selket back but on the other end was her chimera pierced by her axe. The chimera screech in pain dying as it turned into smoke.
Selket fell backward before turning into a large puff of smoke right now as they coughed with it obseuring their vision. With it slowly going away to reveal the charred skeleton of selekt callows. Looking over noticing this was tyrian who went wide eyed in shock
This moment of pause gave tanner the chance as he ran forward driving his machete in the back of tyrians skill. Tyrian gasped in utter pain as he slowly looked back struggling as tanner tore his machete out as tyrian fell to the ground with lifeless eyes right now
Tanner spit on his corpse with a smirk"karma is a bitch you psycho"he said
But right now watching all of this was rosemary who stood stun right now. As this happened they all regrouped with perun pointing his axe at her
"Your all thats left….surrender or…eh i'll have T grimm eat yah"perun said panting heavily
But instead of answering right now tears started to come down rosemary face right now. Before she cried out in utter agony dropping her weapons right now onto the sand. Then she cluthced her head letting out a banshee like cry of pain before falling down onto the ground lifeless to their confusion

Meanwhile in the command cruiser ironwood watched from above with ahab. Their officer took over issuing out orders that they where given. But the two stared in shock right now seeing the grimm slowly pushing their way closer and closer to the walls of vacou capital right now as ahab growled
"This might be it sir….this might be our last stand their breaking through the defenses. Their too close to use our guns on them those dam ships took out some of our airships and fighter pilots"ahab said
This made ironwood stare at the battlefield before him right now. Seeing all the bloodshed and carnage right now. But where is he, here watching this all happen right now as the man clenched his fist narrowing his gaze before walking away which ahab noticed
"What are doing sir?"ahab asked as ironwood turned back to him narrowing his gaze
"Getting involved. Hold down the command deck here and dispatch orders to our troops i need to lead our soilders"ironwood said walking down to join the others down below on the battlefield right now
Back in beacon academy vault pyrrha, jaune and clover stared at the elevator right now for what felt like forever. They kept staring at it the ready as jaune exhaled slowly shifting his shield eyeing it with worry right now for whats to come their way.
As they stood their in silence pyrrha kepy her mental focus on that one entrance. The one thing holding back salem and her forces from taking the beacon relic and her maiden powers. The same thing that she won't let them take because she'll die fighting if she has to for her home, her friends, her family.
"They better come here soon summer got on the horn radioing us they encountered some trouble in shade vault"Clover said as summer and oscar called them early
"Well i'm sure they handle it just fine"jaune replied as he focused on the elevator right now
What felt like an agonziing five minutes soon enough something happened. The elevator started to come down as they looked at it right now. But immediately from above a fireball came crashing onto them as jaune blocked it being pushed back by it a little
Looking up hoping down was bonnie who had her maiden powers activated. With durian stepping off the descending elevator smiling with blood all over his bodie with some bullet holes their as he sighed cracking his neck
"Well lookie here. I heard the rumors where true but…well it seems that your alive as well arc"bonnie taunted with a grin dragging her scythe on the ground as jaune spat on the ground
"Your not going to scare me thanatos. I'd like to see you even try and touch pyrrha your not going to have her"jaune said stepping forward to protect her as some memories of the fall came flooding back to bonnie who smiled
"Really? You protect her?"Bonnie asked walking forward as clover eyed durian stepping aside to deal with him as durian noticed this walking toward him extending his blade arms at the ready right now
Bonnie sighed twirling her scythe running her finger against it smiling right now at the two lovebirds before her
"You know last time cinder was the one trying to protect you. But what happened to her again oh right…i gutted her like a dam fish killing her. Letting her join her whore mother"bonnie said with a grin while she said each and every word to them
Staring at her right now pyrrha thought about their fight back on beacon tower before she smiled back at her which bonnie noticed wondering why she was smiling. Looking back for a second she saw nothing but looked ahead
But that was her one mistake as immediately pyrrha leaped forward shield bashing bonnie back as she bashed her across the face with her shield. Bonnie slide backwards cltuhcing her face growling looking up to see one flame around pyrrha eye
Immediately pyrrha summoned a flaming sword dual wielding it with her normal sword smiling at her foe.
"This time your not going to win i have training for my maiden powers. I earned them you…you stole them"pyrrha said as bonnie snarled at her summoning a flaming scythe before lunging toward her
The two maidens went at each other right now in a brutal clash. Bonnie swung her scythe forward to run her blade through her. But pyrrha met her in the middle blocking them with her sword before pushing her back. Putting all her strength into this next attack pyrrha swung her swords forward laucnhing bonnie back right now. Immediately pyrrha fired a fireball at her launching bonnie back
Thinking of something new bonnie summoned a few slektons sending them forward to try and overwhelm her like before. But this time jaune came in for the assist cutting them down smiling at her. Unlike this time they where prepared with bonnie shooting her grimm arm forward to claw him to shreds. But jaune blocked it with his hardlight dust shield bouncing it back at her. With the two members of team JNPR standing side by side ready to fight together.
With that we see that bonnie plans to fight the power couple for the maiden powers and the relic. But it seems kiyo is dead again with them all starting to retreat. Theirs also the deaths of tyrian and selket callows. Thanks for reading!
