Chapter 53:Shadow war part 6
Back down in the vault right now a brutal battle was being held right now. With two half maidens squaring off with each other as pyrrha kept swinging her sword over and over again into bonnie to try and cut her down to piece.
With bonnie doing her best to keep up with the two right now. But to her shock they where overwhelming her right now. She was so confused she fought them off so easily the other two times.
Unlike the last encounter they had they had low aura at that time. This time they have the advantage as she must have foguth everyone upstairs to get to them. While they have a full aura all at once right now. With pyrrha smiling as she conjured a fire sword swinging it forward
The sword travel over as bonnie dodged it but i nicked her grimm arm making her scream out in utter pain right now clutching her arm that hissed with steam right now
Jaune ran forward swing his sword forward into her as she dodged it noticing the blow coming off of it. As she flinched feeling something vile from that blade which he noticed smiling right now
"This is a gift from a good friend of mines family….you scared?"jaune taunted as she growled shooting her grimm arm at him. But pyrrha leaped forward slicing at her arm making it deform as she cried in pain clutching her arm right now with her growling at the two in rage for their taunting right now

While this happened clover was busy squaring off with durian who was doing much worst with him. The reaper grimm panted as right now clover held something one of his armblades as he twirled it around laughing tossing it off the edge
"You don't have any good luck on your side friend. Me i got plenty of it i'd spare some but i aint too akin to sharing"clover taunted angering durian

This gave pyrrha the chance as she reeled her grimm fist back punching bonnie squad in the face shattering her aura. As she had jet black paritcles around her bodie as she fell to the ground in pain gasping right now panting

"Satfiied yet?"She asked mockingly
Jaune scoffed pointing his sword at her throat
"You know what funny that you got beaten this time. This time you got beaten because you didn't attack us at our weakess. This time we were prepared unlike you"jaune said
"Killing me won't help with anything my queen…my mother will just bring me back! Then i'll rule by her side! I cant die you dam brats!"bonnie shouted as pyrrha growled raising her sword to strike her but from above someone called out to them
"MARA!"a voice called out stunning them as clover was on top of durian who was pinned on his back. All looked over as descending from the elevator was glynda with poppy along with erin and reed. Those two made bonnie flinch which pyrrha noticed slowly pulling her sword back
Reed struggled to walk over with his cane right now as bonnie growled
"Who the hell are you"bonnie growled playing dumb as poppy studied her face scoffing

As inside the pocket dimension sat something that being a autumn filled field. But in the very middle of it right now was a decorative crown that had cyan blue color gemstones in the base of it
Jauen smiled fist pumping"it worked! It worked!"he cheered and cheered as glynda chuckled for a moment
"Well seems that another one of salems victims is rescued. Lets deal with him and we can head back to the others with the good news"glynda said as durian growled eyeing them right now seeing erin as he snarled at her
Throwing his head back he threw clover off as he got up extending his one blade arm
"DIE!"durian shouted lunging forward at them which caught them offgaurd. As time slowed down right now with him going straight for one of them that being erin which mara noticed. Immediately a mother instinct took over as she shield erin with her bodie as durian pierced her in her chest
Mara gasped in pain as time resumed with erin on the ground going wide eyed. As durian blade arm was in her back with poppy growling stabbing him where his chimera was. A loud painful hiss could be heard as durian stumbled onto the ground before turning into black smoke as a charred skeleton was in his place
Mara clutched her chest falling onto the ground as erin ran over placing her hands on her chest as blood spurted from her wound
"no..no…no…please…no…we just saw each other again…please no"erin begged as mara spit up blood from her mouth as reed knelt by her side clutching her hand with tears in his eyes

"I…i did what a mother should do…i….remeber how i died now….a white snake…bite me..it…was..salem i think"mara siad struggling with each word as reed embraced his love in tears as jaune looked away giving them their moment
As mara smiled leaning against her husband"don't be sad…i'm happy to have seen you two again…i…i love you….i love you both"mara cried as erin began to sob holding her mother who slowly closed her eyes before going limp right now passing on with them all going quiet. As only erin sobs could be heard in the caves right now of the vault right now
A full moment of silence came as poppy walked over guiding erin to calm down as reed held his wife in his arms as clover placed a hand on his shoulder
"We'll avenge her death. That witch is going to pay for what shes done"Clover siad firmly as the doctor stared at him for a moment nodding
"Please kill her….win this dam war….i need to…console my little girl"he begged as they nodded with jaune staring at the crown walking over to it as the area felt warm and sunny with pyrrha stepping forward seeing the relic before them
"The moment we remove the relic grimm will be all over us. Should we use it now?"pyrrha asked as he stared at it shaking his head
"We need to show the others it'll be easier for all of us to hear it. We need to get back to vacou now. How long will the bullhead take?"jaune asked
"At most two hours….unless you have a different option in mind"glynda said but pyrrha stared at the ceiling where the elevator was before placing her fingers in her mouth whistling for something. Their was pure silence for a long time before a loud roar echoed outside the halls.

Back on the battlfiedl still fighting for their lives where the fighters of remnants. But they where slowly being pushed back toward the city right now. As with one group that being nadia and her wife team. Along with some others right now
Thara rushed forward with her swords out before leaping forward driving both her blades through a grimm skull. Tearing them out as they turned to dust in quick succession she began to cut any grimm down that stood in her way turning them to nothing but dust right now
While the ingram sister both gave each other a nod slamming each other palms against one another. Then suddenly both their bodies got surroduned in a light blue hue as this was their semblance. If they press their hands together they get a power boost from one another. They call it positive and negative
The two twins rushed forward to fight a alpha uras that roared at them. The uras brought up both its paws slamming it onto the ground to squish them. Though stacy slide underneath it paws as stephine leaped upwards forward driving her axes into its shoulders at it roared in rage
The uras tried to crush her by embracing her into its claws. But stacy had other ideas drawing out her ranch rifle placing the barrel behind it head blowing it off killing it
Stephine immedialty leaped off twirling her axes throwing one into a grimm skull then slit a soldier throat with another one.
While stacy rolled into a crouching positon in quick succession pulling her rifle back. She fired a quick succesion of shots killing any grimm that shoot in her way quickly reloading her rifle to stay in the fight.
While close by two other where fighting with some grimm. As nadia roared ramming her gaunlents into a grimm skull killing it. Tearing it out she kept punching her way through the grimm as a capivara lunged at her trying to tear into her throat. But she caught it punching a hole straight through its chest killing it
Then her ears flicked as she drew both reovlvers firing them in qucik succession killing it. With her swithcing target onto a cultist trying to stab a huntsman as she fired into their bodie killing them as they fell to the ground. Then switching again she fired into a gargolye clipping its wings as it fell to the ground dead
While she did this a beowulf tried to sneka up on her but robyn noticed this drawing her sword stabbing right through its chest killing it as nadia smiled
"Thanks hill!"she thanked
"Your my dam wife come up with a better wife name!"robyn joked back firing off some arrows filling a grimm full of them right now
"I'll try to come up with one after we live! Besides….fen and his teammates better have gotten pilot!"nadia called out as luckily someone called to them

"No…no…no…don't die…no…my head…please don't die"she begged in tears with her seeming still conscious as loki chuckled grunting before placing a hand on her cheek
"I aint going anywhere….please calm down for me…gotta make sure…to be their for you right now…okay"loki said as she stared at him with the blackness slowly leaving her eyes but bombay groaned passing out on the spot with arrstra running over hoisting her over her shoulder
Fenix laughed walking over hosiitng loki to his two feet with a grin
"You saved your girl we gotta head back to base camp. To regroup with the others right now come on"fenix said with them rushing back to camp hoping the others had a better time in dealing with their mission and defense right now
But back at the main cmapsite it was pure chaos as the wounded kept coming and coming. With more of their allies being pushed so far back they only had maybe three lines of defense left with winter pacing around as she left decker incharge of organizing their troops right now.

They stoo stunned as the spirit cracked his neck sighing
"Bit cramped in that thing…can't remember the last time i was let out of their"janus said with both face speaking one sounding old and the other sounding young. They stood stunned for a moment but ruby stepped forward wincing
"Ummm janus sir"Ruby said as he stared at her and the others cupping his chin for a moment as the others close by where frozen all except for their group.
"Ahhh a silver eyes remember hearing about you. But tell me what do you want because i cannot not simply tell you"janus said to their confusion
"You can't tell us?! Your the stupid relic of choice?! Your suppose to tell us"eria said in anger as ember sighed
"Thats not how he works. Oz told me that you would need to put the crown on first to see the vision"ember said as they eyed the crown on his head as janus took it off offering them it but as ruby reached out he warned them of something
"Be warned that when you put the crown on the visions will be random. You will need to tell me what choice you want to make for me to show you what you want"janus explained to them
Hearing this they all paused thinking of the answer to use the relic right now. But ruby stared at the crown right now infront of her eyeing it thinking about something right now reaching over as they looked at her
"Rubes what are you doing? We need to discuss this as a team…don't go gun ho on us"cardin said but she ignroed him reaching over taking the crown placing it on her head staring at the spirt
"How do we win this war? What do we need to do to have peace for remnant"ruby asked as janus head spun around with the older looking face staring at her before snapping his fingers
Suddenly ruby lurched in pain as the crown began to glow in a cyan color. With her falling to the ground crying in pain as they rushed to her aid as weiss knelt down
"Ruby! Ruby take it off! Take it off!"weiss begged as yang gripped the crown trying to take it off but she fell onto her back panting right now unable to take the crown off right now
"Its stuck!"She called out as they could only watch with ruby crying out in pain before something happened. Suddenly several visions played through her head as it showed the war going on right now. But then it showed them fighting hordes of grimm together. But then another to her showed salem having all four relics to her shokc
Though the next set of vision showed her something else that being all of them but something was different. In the vision she saw something that shocked her that being some of them holding children in their arms. Along with them looking older right now
Gasping as the visions stopped the crown fell off her head as she panted for air rubbing her head. With janus bowing slightly to pick up the crown placing it back on his head
"You have seen the visions you will know what choice to make to win your war. Goodbye"janus said disppearing as time resumed with the fighting resuming as ruby panted as the others let her breath as glynda knelt down
"What did you see dear?"glynda asked placing a hand on her shoulder with ruby staring at them for a moment before telling them something
"Salem needs to have all the relics"Ruby said to their utter shock right now
"What?! Are you insane?! She wants them to destory the world…why the hell would we give her them?!"falk shouted
"Are you okay or did the crown make you go insane?"rogue questioned but ruby shook her head grabbing the crown staring at it
"No…no it showed me alot of thing but one stuck out…it showed salem with all the relics. But…but it showed me something else"Ruby said as they stared at her with raven kneeling placing a hand on her niece
"What did it show you?"raven asked as ruby stared at her aunt
"It showed alot of us when we were older..and…and i…i saw that i had a daughter….we can win this war. We need to give her the relics…prove to the gods that ozma broguth all of humanity togehter"ruby said as they stared at her as someone cleared their throat behind her. Looking back it was ironwood with huntsman and huntresses right behind him
"Then lets discuss a way to get you all into that castle so she can have what she wants."ironwood said as they planned to win their war once and for all for remannt.
With that we conclude on the shadow war arc the next two chapters will be the final ones for volume ten. But Janus my own idea for the relic of choice. How will things end with their shadow war?
