Chapter 61
→ Royal Carriage / Renner ←
It was the early morning, when Renner was woken up. Gazef stood in the door and spoke to Climb, who had nudged her awake.
"We are almost there, Princess Renner." Climb had ecstatically exclaimed.
She needed a bit of time to process this information.
During the last week, Renner had slowly begun to shed the hope of being clean. She smelled and there were some dirty patches on her dress. Despite that she hoped that Climb would stíll see her as the golden princess.
"So we are close to E-Rantel?" Renner inquired, rubbing her eyes.
"Yes. Once Climb takes the seat we can do the last bit of the trip." Gazef confirmed and so the two changed seats.
Renner yawned as the carriage moved again and looked outside.
She had expected a dead forest or something similarly creepy, but the land was prospering.
A short while later the carriage stopped and Renner shook awake again.
"Who is this?" she heard a voice outside.
"This is the carriage of Princess Renner of Re-Estize!" Climb announced.
Two guards walked around the carriage and then looked inside. They then opened the door and glared at her.
"Who might you be?"
"I am Princess Renner Theiere Chardelon Ryle Vaiself. I am here to meet the Sorcerer King. Would there be any problems, dear guards?" she replied and then the guards looked at each other.
It was then that a dark elf came running to the gate and waved at them.
"They are allowed entry!" she called out and the guards nodded, as the maid entered the carriage.
The carriage began to move again as she closed the door.
"Hi. I am Aura Bella Fiora. Lady Albedo and Lady Arachama are awaiting you both. But first they want you to make a stop at the Golden Dragon Inn. I just have to..." Aura introduced herself and opened the door again and climbed out, as she closed the door behind her again.
"Quite agile…" Renner whispered as the dark elf had disappeared.
"Indeed…" Stronoff agreed with a whistle.
Another short track and they appeared in the backyard of a high end in. She and Stronoff exited the carriage and Climb jumped from his seat. Aura meanwhile had sprinted off to the owner of the inn and gave an envelope.
The face of the owner changed immediately and he immediately took two set of keys. As he came closer he bowed and presented the keys.
"Princess Renner. This is the key to the suite. Gazef Stronoff, those are the keys to the room next to the suit. Just go up the stairs and open the door at the end of the floor. The Numbers are also on the key and on plates beside the respective doors." he pointed out and both nodded.
"Then we better get settled in…" Renner proposed as Climb and Stronoff nodded along.
"You might want to take a rest, Princess Renner. We can take care of the luggage." Climb promised and immediately the unpacking began.
First Stronoff and Climb brought her clothes towards the suit. It had two bedrooms, a small bar, a bathroom and a balcony. They brought her belongings and she had them stored in her own room, which was close to the balcony, and then Climb and Stronoff brought her father to the other bedroom. Afterwards the door was closed, as Climb and Stronoff took care of their own stuff.
Renner then, after locking the door, began to look around the rooms. Then she took a bath, though it took some time to figure out how to do that, and she took one of the juice she found in the small bar. She soaked in the bath and extensively enjoyed the juice. Once the juice was finished she rubbed herself clean and dried herself off.
"Now a long good sleep. Maybe with some of the more …ehem… enjoyable views?" she hoped, as she got dressed in a clean nightgown.
"That will wait for a short while, as we have to work." a familiar voice echoed through the room and Renner, half dressed, turned around in shock and shot to the ground.
"Lady Albedo, how might I serve you?" Renner inquired.
"I am here to congratulate you on a job well done. But there are the final steps." Albedo smiled at her as Renner looked up with hopeful eyes.
"How do you wish to commence the final steps?" Renner inquired, curiosity in her heart, as she felt the price ever closer to herself.
"First there is the question in regards to Lady Arachamas gift…" Albedo began and took a seat at the table. Renner stood up and went to the small bar.
"It is solved, Lady Albedo. The question is where do I get two portions of 'men's dreams'? What drinks from here would you like?" Renner inquired.
"I like wine. Take some of it as well." Albedo answered.
Renner prepared the glasses.
"The necessary items you need are prepared. As well as your rooms within Nazarick. But we would also need to make sure Climb consumes them. That will be your job." Albedo confirmed.
"I thank you for this help, Lady Albedo." Renner gratefully replied as she took the glasses and brought them to the table.
"Good. Then there will also be a new job, once this is completely finished this afternoon. Lady Arachama complained about paperwork and we got to the same conclusion, albeit I took much more time to understand her long-term planning. You will work under my supervision in regards to paperwork." Albedo explained.
For a short while Renner felt life drain from her face and Albedo smirk now seemed evil.
"Don't worry. You will do it from morning to afternoon. Afterwards you will have your freetime. I don't understand the greatness behind the idea of 'free time' the supreme beings had, but you have it as well." Albedo reassured.
"Albeit anyone in Nazarick would be glad to be working at all times." Renner heard Albedo grumble under her breath.
Life was now slowly returning to Renners face, though a portion stayed absent.
"Lady Arachama also places a great deal of trust in you. We both know that only the best is just bearable for a supreme being, don't we?" Albedo asked, the face close to Renners ears.
A shiver ran down her back.
"As is to be expected." Renner agreed.
"Indeed. If you knew how jealous Demiurge was to not have you at his disposal." she heard Albedo laugh.
"I just have one question. How will we separate Climb and me from Stronoff and the king of Re-Estize?" Renner inquired.
"I have something and it will be revealed soon enough. Meanwhile, get yourself rested and prepared." Albedo ordered and drank the rest of her wine.
As Albedo stood up again, Renner bowed and soon was alone in her suite, still in a nightgown in disarray.
→ Arwintar Imperial-palace / Arachne ←
The sun was slowly rising and tickling Arachne and Jircniv awake. With a final nudging both rose out of the bed, albeit Jircniv had to help her, and then they continued where they had stopped yesterday. The kisses of passion went for roughly an hour and they had even gone back to bed, when Arachne's stomach grumbled.
"So my empress is hungry? Maybe we should get you something?" Jircniv whispered in her ear, also teasing her further down.
"We already had our fun last week. What about the empire?" she whispered back and pressed another hickey onto Jircnivs neck.
It was a true statement. After the wedding they had spent an entire week in this wing and had been quite active in their room. Though normally it was usual to travel elsewhere and take respite, they had not need to and enjoyed each other in the palace.
"Just another day and then we will? You are just that irresistible." Jircniv winked and Arachne giggled.
"Flattery will get you nowhere." she snickered and another hickey joined the plethora of Jircnivs blue skin.
Slowly they rose again and Jircniv helped her into her wheelchair. Afterwards they strolled through the wing and then towards the bathroom. He pushed her himself and, from time to time, gave her a peck on the back of her head.
"How do you manage to smell so great? Shouldn't you smell after the exhaustion you felt after the week?" he inquired.
"I don't know, but if it pleases you then it pleases me." she responded and caught him as he wanted to place another peck. She led his head over and gave him a deep kiss, relishing every second of it. As they parted again, Jircniv resumed pushing her wheelchair.
"I fear we will be swamped after today…" Arachne sighed and Jircniv nodded, as they walked past the office, which was covered in paperwork.
→ Karak-Ar-Araz / Gongrimm ←
It was deep in the night, when a set of voices cried through the halls of clan Ironspine. Immediately Grolli shot up and ran to the twins' aid and calmed them as far as possible. Gongrimm on the other hand slowly rose up, cracked a few bones and joints and then slowly walked to the twins room. At the sight of him they immediately gurgled and fell asleep again, to Grollis annoyance.
"It is already early morning. They start to sleep longer." Grolli snapped in a faux pout.
"Then it is time I drink and eat something. It will be long today." Gongrimm sighed as he kissed his wife.
"I better get the ale out." she smiled at him and both slowly went to the kitchen. His great-grandson was already there, grumbling tiredly and inaudibly.
"What is it?" Gongrimm grumbled to himself.
"Wife cant wait to get here and see the twins again." he explained and was greeted by his great-grandmother and a mug of beer.
"That is good. It means the clan is holding strong." Gongrimm muttered and took the second mug, while Grolli took a sip.
"I can bring them over today." Grolli beamed and brought the slices of bread and meat.
"Thanks, great-grandma." he sighed and took a bit of bread and meat.
They ate in silence, until Gongrimm stood up, gave his great-grandson a hug and kissed his wife.
"It's time. See you later." he promised and she smiled at him.
"Of course. Greet Fargrim and Snobbi." Grolli pointed out.
"I will." he answered and left.
It took some time, but once he was about to leave the clan's hold, he met his student Fargrim Halfhand and both began to move towards the war's hold. There they met Snobbi Granitetooth and entered the halls. The sound of metal meeting metal and shields blocking strikes was heard. Outcries and grunts mixed themselves into the mix and Gongrimm could almost see the excitement on Fargrims face.
"No training today. We need to organize." he pointed out and the excitement was now culled.
"Then we better get on with it." Fargrim muttered as they closed in on Gongrimms office.
Inside his office were a few heavy desks with paper and some stone slabs. There were even a few slabs of oathgold stored inside.
But the crown piece was a large table in the center made of granite. It had a lower center, though it was currently filled, and held a lot of figurines at its side. It once came with multiple stone slabs of different maps. Whenever Gongrimm had needed one another slab was added at his disposal, and it had already been sizable as his predecessors already had it.
The current slab shows the map of Re-Estize, the dwarven kingdom of the south of it and parts of the lands belonging to the demi-human tribes and the former Slane Theocracy.
"Now lads. We have the logistics already hammered out and the volunteers are ready and training throughout the days. We also have our plan. But lets go over minor details." he began and the other two nodded along.
They talked about the greater strategy, ideas for the defense and other options. It took them almost half of the day. But in the end they had a plan.
"Fargrim, you better train with Snobbi. I will go to the council meeting today. The high king has a guest, who wants to speak with us dwarfs." Gongrimm ordered and his companions nodded.
So Gongrimm left and walked towards the great palace. He was greeted by most of the populus and reciprocated the joyous greetings. Sometimes questions were asked and he answered them. Some dwarfs even asked where they could volunteer and he pointed towards the war's hold. The numbers of volunteers filled him with pride and sorrow.
"How many will perish due to my orders?" he asked himself as he reached the steps of the palace.
"Usual place, Gongrimm Ironspine." one of the hammerers told him the place of the meeting.
Slowly, but surely he managed to get towards the council chamber and took his seat. Orgel Powdernose and Belegar Klinkabearer were already there and seemingly relaxing.
"Good morning, Gongrimm." Both greeted him and he nodded back at them.
"Morning. Belegar, if this meeting goes as expected, could I have some of the clan Firebeards runesmiths? I would also ask you to help Fargrim and keep an eye on him, though he is capable." Gongrimm asked.
"Everything for the dwarven kingdom." Belegar reassured Gongrimm.
"Orgel, how many are ready?" he inquired.
"We have 50 built and the crews of 40 are trained. My clan, with clan Firebeards help, have developed another variant and trained the crews of it. The new variant comes with 40 exemplars with trained crew. Both sorts of ammunition are prepared in large quantities. I think you will like them." Orgel laughed and Gongrimm sighed.
"Can clan Powdernose, with the help of clan Ironspine prepare a fitting position for battle? What can you tell me about the grudge throwers and bolt throwers?" Gongrimm asked further.
"Of course we can. Depending on the position and how extensive it will be we would need roughly a week to two weeks. For the grudge throwers and bolt throwers, we currently have around 300 grudge throwers and 500 bolt throwers. There wouldn't be need for much training, as only one in a crew needs to be trained to aim. The rest is for pushing per directions." Orgel smiled.
"It will probably split up, but that should do…" Gongrimm thought out loud.
"Can I have the plans, so I can prepare our clans?" Orgel wanted to know.
"Yes, of course…." Gongrimm started, but was interrupted by the doors opening.
The high king entered the room and took seat on the throne. From the right was the dammaz kron. On his left was the ax of Grommelbart.
"Now then, my kin. We have an ambassador of the Re-Estize kingdom." the high king spoke and Gongrimm saw the disgust shimmer through the high king's eyes before it disappeared.
The doors to the council chamber opened again and a small group of hammerers walked in. In their center was a large human. Or was it normal size for them? Gongrimm didn't know anymore, as it had been a long time since he had been one.
Silence filled the room as the clan heads, short kings and high king looked at the ambassador.
"I am here to tell you what my king demands." the ambassador exclaimed.
Silence filled the room, as Gongrimm felt the temperature drop dramatically. He himself was feeling hot inside, as his anger swelled up.
"You demand nothing. First you present yourself properly. Then I will check with the dammaz kron to see if you are worthy." the high king responded, anger on his face.
"The words of my king are law for you shortsized wanna be humans. If you don't want war with my king, you better follow the demands of the letter." the ambassador responded and immediately the hall grew, if possible, even more quiet.
"I never thought that I would witness it again that silence can be loud." Gongrimm thought. But then he saw the high king completely confused and decided action needed to be taken.
A loud thunder echoed through the hall, as Gongrimm stood up and slammed the pommel of his two handed ax onto the ground.
"You short lived manlings better stop being arrogant, or you find yourself in a dire situation again. I heard that some of you couldn't even withstand a light thrashing a little while ago." his voice thundered.
Red swelled in the cheeks of the ambassador.
"Yet you come here to try and order us around?" the high king demanded.
"We are still stronger than you, thus you will follow our rule. For this impertinence you will also pay for our generosity by providing armor and weapons." the noble continued.
"I HAVE ENOUGH! THROW HIM OUT SO HIS KIN CAN COME HERE!" one of the older clan heads shouted, voices of anger and agreement echoed through the chamber and the hammerers were trying to hold their composure. Though it was a fight they would lose if nothing was done soon.
"You heard my friend. Now spit out your words so I can decline them, if you must." the high king ordered.
"The Re-Estize kingdom, though me, Baron Philip Dayton L'Eyre Montserrat, demands that you cease your negotiations in regards to an alliance with the Sorcerer King." the ambassador, Philip, demanded.
"We decline your demand. You insulted my kin and will be written in the dammaz kron. There will be no alliance with the Re-Estize kingdom, as long as I am the high king. There will only be one thing you will find with that arrogance. You will find a reckoning." the high king declared and the hammerers caught this Philip.
As he was brought out and was beside Gongrimm, Philip wrestled himself free for a second and spit and punched around himself.
The second to last punch hit Gongrimm in the face and Gongrimm then managed to catch the last punch.
The anger inside the room grew even thicker as one of the hammerers kicked Philip in the backside of his knee.
"Another entry in the book." Bonebart muttered as Philip was brought outside of the chamber, palace and then the dwarven kingdom.
While the 'ambassador' was brought out, the meeting continued.
"The plans are progressing?" the high king asked, while writing the accrued grudges of Philip and the Re-Estize kingdom down.
"Everything is planned. Tomorrow morning we will start preparing the sites." Gongrimm reported.
"Good, good. I want them to suffer for their grudges." the high king smirked.
Afterwards the meeting dissolved and he followed Belegar to the Forge of clan firebeard to get some things cleared.
→ Pouchet mansion/ Margrave Anatole Juin Poiret Pouchet ←
With a fresh start the young Margrave rose to his feet. Another day another good deed to help his brother Ramposa secure his rightful throne. Since his father had died Ramposa, he and two of his brothers had splitted into two parties and were short of a civil war.
"Now isn't the time to be cozy. It is time to prepare for war." he ordered at the unknown elderly maid, who immediately scurried around.
"Brother needs help!" he thought to himself, the voice of him still in Anatoles mind.
After breakfast he immediately, after being reminded and helped by the elderly maid, made himself ready and moved out of the mansion towards the barracks. There he observed the training of the new recruits. The sad stares always leveled on him didn't deter him slightly. He knew that some had wished for him to usurp Ramposa, but that wouldn't be right.
After making sure the recruits trained accordingly he retreated back to his mansion to get cleaned before taking care of paperwork.
"AAAArgh!" The shriek filled the bathroom and echoed through the mansion.
"What sorcery is this?" he cursed in fear as he looked into the mirror. A roughly 60 to 70 year old looked back and touched itself where he touched himself.
"How can I help you, Margrave?" the elderly maid inquired after almost kicking the door down.
"What sorcery is this?" he asked and pointed towards the mirror.
"Ahh that. It is a trickery that your younger brother had installed. Let me bring you to another room, Margrave." the maid explained.
She led him through a few rooms and towards his bedroom.
"Why are you bringing me here? Why am I in my undergarments?" he asked, confusion in his head.
"But didnt you want to take a nap, Margrave?" the elderly maid inquired.
"Did I?" he questioned.
"Indeed, you did, Anatole." another unknown face showed itself.
"If I want to then I will." Anatole shrugged and was led to his room.
Once inside he locked it shut and was about to sleep.
"Are you sure that it is the right thing to do?" he heard in an unknown voice.
"It is a win for everyone. He gets a worthy end, I get my inheritance, the prince gets prestige by having him in his army." yet another voice threw in.
"The poor lad they talk about." Anatole smirked, as he got to bed again.
As he woke up Margrave Anatole was full of vigor. Immediately he jumped out of bed.
"Now isn't the time to be cozy. It is time to prepare for war." he reminded himself.
"My brother needs me." he thought, his brother's voice and face still in Anatoles mind, and thus he prepared his morning routine.
→ E-Rantel / Renner ←
As Renner reawoke from her nap in the afternoon, she got dressed and prepared herself. After she was ready, or as ready as she could be, she got out of her suite and got Climb, who was in front of her door, and Stronoff, who was resting in there room.
The trip to the palace of the Sorcerer King was comparably short and without any incident. As they closed in they were searched and registered. When they entered the courtyard she left the carriage and prepared to walk towards the gate of the palace.
She was beaten to it when lady Albedo left the palace and came over.
"Good afternoon. Lady Arachama had heard of your arrival. Follow me please." Albedo ordered and began to lead them into the palace.
The three followed Albedo in silence, as a bit of unease was still in their hearts, albeit for different reasons. The palace, or 'palace', was still in construction but even then the structure was taking a marvelous form. But Renner didn't care for that. She was almost jumping up and down inside her mind and heart. Already going through different things she could do with her Climb.
Sooner than expected, albeit it was her daydreaming, they arrived at a large set of doors. Lady Albedo knocked and the door opened. Inside was lady Arachama with her daughter, Zesshi Zetsumei if she remembered correctly. Renner, Climb, Lady Albedo and Stronoff came inside and bowed.
"That feels much better than to stand in the presence of lady Albedo." Renner thought to herself.
"Lady Arachama, the guests have arrived." Lady Albedo announced.
"Indeed they have. Thank you for bringing them here. My little Zesshi still doesn't know the ins and outs of Mongas palace." Lady Arachama apologized and Lady Albedo shook her head.
"It was no problem, Lady Arachama." Albedo pointed out and moved beside Lady Arachama, though slightly closer towards the group than Lady Arachama was.
"Now that we have that out of the way. Could you perhaps tell me why the chief warrior and the princess of our 'esteemed' neighbors decided to show up?" Lady Arachama asked, raising 3 of her eyebrows.
"We beseech you for aid, Lady Arachama." Renner answered.
"Oho, and what help would that be? Why should we help you?" Lady Arachama inquired.
"The king has gotten ill, Lady Arachama. Sadly my older 'brother' took over and he is less than ideal for the peace between our two nations." Renner explained, to the astonishment of Stronoff.
"Hmm. Clever girl. But tell me, as you haven't answered my question, why should I care? My daughter here has defeated your armies, why couldn't my friend do it himself?" She heard Lady Arachamas question.
"It would be more profitable if Re-Estize were to have a peaceful relationship with the Sorcerous Kingdom. If the King would be helped with his illness, it would plant the seed to that prosperous friendship." Renner argued, almost vomiting to have said that.
"But what guarantee do we have?" Lady Arachama questioned.
Renner made a faux pause to drive that point home and grinned inwardly.
"I may offer myself as a hostage. That way King Ramposa would not cross your friend's kingdom again, Lady Arachama." Renner proposed.
Climb looked torn, Stronoff turned around in shock.
"That… is an interesting proposal." Lady Arachama played the confused regent and looked deeply into Renners eyes.
"My Lady. If I may?" Lady Albedo interjected.
"Of course, Albedo." Lady Arachama permitted.
"I could contact Lord Ainz, if you wish, as this is top priority." Albedo said.
"I will contact him myself." Lady Arachama said and placed a hand on her temple.
It took some time, which was spent in tension, but finally the hand went from the temple and Lady Arachama smiled.
"We will accept your proposal to become our permanent guest." Lady Arachama announced and Stronoff looked at Lady Arachama in shock. Climb meanwhile looked torn.
As Lady Arachama stood up, Zesshi used a parchment and went through the usual portal.
"Is there a way to get to the king?" the Lady inquired.
"We can bring her here." Renner answered and pointed towards Stronoff.
"Then the brute and the squire may go to get him." Lady Arachama ordered as Climb and Stronoff left.
A short time of silence passed before Renner shot back towards the ground.
"You don't need to bow, Renner." Lady Arachama sighed.
"It only feels natural to bow to the superiors." Renner answered and felt Lady Albedos approving glare.
"Whatever rocks your boat I guess. By the way, are you ready for the reward?" Lady Arachama smiled and Renner nodded.
"Good, because I think we wouldn't need to enact another part of the plan." Lady Arachama sighed.
"What do you mean, Lady Arachama?" Lady Albedo inquired.
"Retreat the bandits we positioned 15 kilometers outside the walls. They wouldn't be needed anymore. Also get Pestonya." Lady Arachama replied and went back to her throne.
The wait continued while Pestonya arrived and dutifully waited in the corner. But the tension never left, if anything the silence intensified it slightly.
But soon enough a knock came and this Pestonya opened the door. Climb and Stronoff, short after opening the door joined by this Pestonya, carried the comatose king inside. He was placed onto the carpet and the maid immediately began her duty. Multiple glimmers of different colors engulfed her former king and dissipated. Then she casted something and a green glimmer seeped into Ramposa. A tense ten second happened before the king took a deep breath and looked around in confusion.
"W-what happened?" he asked.
"You are healed, king Ramposa." Lady Arachama interjected.
"I hope the cost was worth it." Lady Arachama spoke calmly as Stronoff helped King Ramposa, who was confused.
Climb meanwhile stepped forward and bowed.
"Lady Arachama?" he asked.
"Yes?" she replied.
"May I accompany Princess Renner for her stay?" Climb asked and Renner beamed inside her heart.
"You may. Albedo, show the two their new place." Lady Arachama ordered and Albedo pointed at them.
They went though one of these portals and arrived at her new favorite place. It was like a small, but cozy and luxurious, apartment. Multiple rooms were adjacent and she could see a kitchen, bedrooms, living rooms, a lounge and, most important for her, a dungeon.
"Before we continue, eat those." Lady Albedo pointed towards a table in the center and both closed in.
She immediately bit into the meat and then drank from the yokai horn beside the food. Climb copied her, either out of loyalty or knowing he had no choice.
Not long after the consumption her view struggled to remain calm. The world spun around as she felt a tickling power course through her, as she lost consciousness.
Her heavy eyes tried to open, but it took a long time, some might say eternity, to open. Beside her was Climb, still sleeping. They were inside one of the beds.
"He won't wake up for now. Just a word of warning before you get this ring. You are here on the words of Lady Arachama. You will show her, and her daughters, even more reverence now, as you are not restricted by social norms anymore. She brought you into Nazaricks fold and even gifted you with this blessing. It would be a grave insult to waste or shame it. We in Nazarick don't take kindly to anyone insulting the supreme beings." Lady Albedo smirked.
"I know, but thanks for the reminder, Lady Albedo." Renner replied.
"At least you showed some reverence today. Keep it up and all will be fine." Lady Albedo smiled. She placed a vial on the nightstand and pointed towards Climb.
"You have today free. Enjoy it with your pet. But tomorrow I will get you to work. Enjoy your stay in the great tomb of Nazarick, area guardian Renner." Lady Albedo bid her farewell and disappeared.
"So that is my new life now. It is a vast improvement. But should I take him now or later when he is awake?" she mused as she climbed out of the bed and looked at herself in the mirror.
"So that is what I am?" Renner remembered from a book she received from Lady Arachama and looked at the eight yellow joints and stared at the bigger horn on her forehead. She still had two eyes and her dress. But the abdomen with eight legs was new for her.
She opened a drawer and found multiple strange dresses and a note.
Dear Renner,
I hope you enjoy this reward and relish it with your Climb. Tomorrow your new job begins, though Albedo should be training you at the beginning. Thanks for the help in weakening the Re-Estize Kingdom, the place you once called home.
I chose this transformation, as it shows you to whom you can turn for help. It is a Jorogumo. The difference between our species is that I am, what could be classified as, a demi-human. You on the other hand are a heteromorph, a demon to be more precise. I placed a few books regarding stories, tips and knowledge about your kind on the shelf beside the bed. The dresses you see, kimonos as they are called, are a design from my home country, where Jorogumo come from. I thought it would fit. Instructions on the shelf as well.
I hope you enjoy your stay and prove yourself.
Arachama.
Renner looked at the note and sighed in relief as her situation finally settled in.
"I finally have my Climb." she almost squealed and decided that she would most certainly use the rest of her free day in a more enjoyable manner.
AN: I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Renner finally has her reward and Philip will get his at some point. Though I feel he needs to be a bit of a menace before finally kicking the bucket. Gongrimm will and his friends and allies will be occupied soon enough and Ainz will make an appearance in the next chapter. Arachne had her fun and will return to her new duties.
If you enjoyed this chapter, feel free to comment/review it.
