Chapter 107 – Ready For The Wedding
The day just began and inside the Varykino Manson, everyone was already awake, getting ready for the big Wedding that would happen around 1100 hours that morning.
It was around 8 am and for the last hour the adults were getting the kids ready by giving them bath, and breakfast, before put them in their outfits and dresses, specially the boys and girls who would be the flower girls and the page boys, and the girls still need to have their hair done with a flower crown on their heads, so everyone was walking around since 6am.
Ines came out of her bedroom, with her hair and makeup done. This time she decided to have a hair lose instead of tide up. She just ended dressed Lukey, when Iris called her saying Leia wanted to see her.
The moment she was walking the hallways of the second floor heading to Leia and Han's bedroom, Han came out from the boys bedroom, already all suit up.
"Wow, look at you," Ines said to her brother in law. "You look like a gentleman in that suit."
Han was wearing a dark red suit. Actually his and Luke suit were exactly the same, the difference was only in the color, since both men decided to match the color of their wives dresses, and Leia's dress was dark red, while Ines was dark blue.
"I like your outfit too, kid. What is that, a new fashion wedding outfit?" he said laughing, when Ines rolled her eyes and tied her robe more.
"Ha Ha Ha, very funny!" she said, when the girls came out holding Luke's hand.
"Kid, look at you," Han nod looking at Luke in his dark blue suit.
"Hey what about us?" Padmé frown towards her uncle.
"You two are always beautiful no matter what, but today, with that hair and flower crown and that silk pink dress, you are the most beautiful flower girls in the galaxy!" he said making the twins giggled all happy.
"What about us?" Ani asked his father.
The boys looked very cute in their white and dark blue page suits.
"You are adorable in those suits, Very handsome page boys for sure." Ines told her nephews.
"How is the bride?" Han asked,
"She is getting her hair and makeup done, so I need to put my dress and go help her, but your wife called me!"
"We go downstairs with kids, they are ready and Dan said that Lando is there." Luke told his wife.
"Please do cause this part of the house will be chaotic."
"Some guests already left to the wedding place, including Ahsoka, Ezra, and that Korkie guy. By the way, what you two keep whispering about him?" Han asked.
"We will tell you later," Luke winked and looked at the kids. "Come on guys, let's show your beautiful outfits to the people downstairs."
"I'll help uncle Luke!" Iris said also dresses up with the same type dress and they all went downstairs, while Ines headed to the bedroom.
She was about to knock on the bathroom door, but Leia anticipated that.
"Come in Ines!"
Opening the door and entering inside, Ines frown.
"How…!" she started.
"Really? Force sensitive person here too."
Rolling her eyes, Ines approached her and stopped when she saw a pregnancy test on top of the counter.
She looked at Leia, who just like her had a makeup and hair done, the difference was that Leia decided to tied up her hair with the famous Alderaanian braid.
"Why are you making a test on something you already know for more than a month? I mean I'm surprise that Han and nobody else figured it out yet, by the way you've being eating like a maniac for the past 3 weeks!"
"I just like to make this the old fashioned way. It is fun!" Leia replied.
"The question here is when you will tell Han?"
"Maybe the first minutes of the new year? It is a good way to start it, don't you think?"
"True!" Ines nod. "But right now, we have a lot to do. We still need to put our dresses and help Luma to put hers."
"Is she ready?"
"Her hair is done and her makeup is almost done. So, let's hurry pregnant lady!" Ines said but before she would leave, she smiled and pulled Leia into a tight hug, which made her a little surprised by that.
"What was that for?" Leia asked her.
"Is a way to show you how happy I am for you and Han. I love you both like you are family to me!"
"We are family Ines. Always!" Leia smiled. "Thank you for being by my side all these years!"
"Hey, we are sisters. I will always be by your side!" Ines said and they both hugged each other for a while in silence.
"Let's not ruined our makeup and let's hurry!" Leia replied after pulling apart and with a smile, both women, left the bathroom to put their dresses and help Luma.
Almost 11am:
Ines, Leia, Amidala, Gracy and Luma's mother were helping her to put the veil on it and made her face them.
"Oh my sweet daughter, you look so beautiful!"
"I have to agree. That dress is stunning," Amidala said glaring at the long sleeve and sparkling wedding dress that Luma was wearing.
"Fit for a former Queen!" Leia replied.
"I think it is time," Ines said looking at the clock.
"Well the wedding can only start when the Queen arrive, since she is the last one before the bride of course!" Luma replied.
"Well Yolla informed that the Queen is a few minutes apart and she will go directly to the place. And Reed is already there waiting."
"Let's do this!" Luma smiled.
They all left the bedroom, helping Luma with a puffy dress and the veil.
Reaching the top of stairs Ines spoke.
"Everyone, please let me show the beautiful bride!"
Everyone gasped when Luma appeared and then clapped as she climbed down the stairs.
"Oh Mistress Luma, you look so stunning. You look like a Queen!" 3PO said making Luma smiled at the protocol droid.
"Thanks 3PO!"
R2 beeped making 3PO looked at him.
"I know she was once a Queen. Don't act like a smart one!"
R2 beeped again making the kids laughed since they were the only ones who actually understood R2 since they were babies, even if Ines and Luke were already starting to understand some parts through the years R2 lived with them.
"What do you mean I'm the one that act like a smart ass?"
R2 beeped and started rolled away
"Hey come back you spoiled droid. What do you mean by that!" he said following him, making Han rolled his eyes.
"That droid…" he started.
"Hey be careful. You know my father in law built that droid which means, in a way he is your brother in law!" Ines said making the kids gasped
"Uncle 3PO!" Bail and Ani said laughed and started running after the droid.
"That's a lot kid."
"Anytime!" she winked at him. "Lando, how good to see you. How is everything?"
"Ines, you continue to be beautiful as always," he started making Ines shake her head,
"And you didn't change at all. Does your wife approves that?"
"She didn't come."
"Why not?" Leia asked him.
"Well hard to believe but our dear Lando was a father 3 weeks ago, of a boy!" Luke said making Ines and Leia gasped.
"Congratulations!" they said and hugged him.
"Thanks!" Lando said laughing. "I wish you could meet them, he is handsome like his father."
"Oh Lando," Leia said shaking her head. "But yes, we all want to meet him."
"I will bring them to Coruscant, I promise!"
Then Yolla appeared.
"The Queen arrived and is already heading to the place."
"Then is time. Ready to become a married woman in an hour?" Ines asked her friend, who nod with a big smile.
"I'm super ready!"
And grabbing her father's arm, they all left the mansion for a very beautiful winter wedding.
