31. Chapter 31

About three days later, upon the land of the Holfort Kingdom. Time had passed after the last battle between Kira and Canard. The former being the victor of the latter yet it felt like both had won after finally ending the tensing conflict between them. The time had passed as peace has truly come upon the Kingdom.

Right now, upon the Holfort Castle; the surviving nobles are found gathered upon the throne room. All the nobles being the ones who have stayed and protected the nation during its dire time, yet many had fled and surrendered during the time of invasion which leads to the numbers being very small than that it used to be.

Amongst the nobles are Vince, and Bernard; both being accompanied by Gilbert, Angelica, Olivia, Deidre, and Clarice who stood behind them. There's also the Bartfort Family which is missing Zola and her kids, Raymond, Daniel, and many other students of the academy are also there with them. All stood in their place in silence before they turned to look upon the throne which had Roland sitting upon it with Mylene and Lacus standing beside him.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, you all have my gratitude for staying for the Kingdom and protecting it from evil." Roland spoke out as he began a speech of gratitude for the nobles in the throne room. "Our Kingdom was nearly within the Dukedom's grasp, the lives lost of that day would never be avenged. Yet there is a light, a light that shines upon the Kingdom and saved it. This light shines and basks upon us all thanks to all your efforts in protecting the Kingdom; our Homeland."

While Roland is speaking, we turn our attention to Kira who is standing in front of the closed throne room's doors. The young man wearing his noble uniform on which had an addition of a decorated sword sheathed to his side.

He stood there alone with only the company of knights who stood beside the door and also Hachi's and Creare's drone that came hovering to his right and left shoulders.

"Are you perhaps nervous, Master?" Creare asks the young man who nodded his head a bit. "why? They are only giving you rewards, right?"

"perhaps you do not follow nor understand the noble hierarchy, Creare" Hachi spoke as the AI looks at its fellow kin. "being rewarded by the King would mean that Kira's ranking in the noble society would be increased."

"and? How is that a problem?" Creare asks, sounding confused. "getting a higher ranking is a good thing, right?"

"I'm not that familiar with the noble ranking nor do I like it." Kira said as he went and adjusted the collar of his uniform. "the higher ranking would mean the higher the risk that I would take in having it."

"basically saying that Kira would have many duties that would likely hinder his actions in the future." Hachi stated. "the management of his land, taxes, politics, and etc. all of which he must handle at all cost."

"ooh~. That sounds tough." Creare said as the AI's drone spins itself around. "would this mean that Master's rank which is a lower ranked Count would become an even higher one if things go through without planned?"

"I hope not." Kira said. "I already had trouble being an upper ranked baron, being a Count or a higher ranking would just mean more trouble."

"that is true, but we can trust in Miss Lacus' abilities to handle things." Hachi said. "she did ensure us of a way for Kira to be free of such troubles, correct?"

"yeah, she did." Kira said before he scratches a finger to his right cheek. "though, she didn't mention on how she would do it?"

"indeed." Hachi said with a nod before the AI's drone turns to look at the door which the knights are slowly opening. "it appears that your turn has come, Kira."

"wish me luck, you two." Kira said after he sighs and readied himself before he goes and begins walking into the throne room.

All the nobles in the room looks upon Kira who came walking upon the red carpet.

Kira walks before he glances and smiles while doing a small hand wave to the Bartfort Family. All minus Finley looking proud and happy for him. Daniel, and Raymond along with all the other students of the academy were also giving him supporting smiles and thumbs up as well; them being happy that they are friends with such a hero.

Continuing his walk, Kira glances to the side and sees Angelica and the others. Vince, Bernard, and Gilbert just smiling while nodding but the girls looking proud and happy for him.

Kira smiles and nodded to them before he came and stood a few feet away from the King, Queen, and Princess. The young man placed a hand to his chest before he goes down on one knee.

"Count Kira Fou Bartfort, you of all the nobles of the Kingdom have acted courageously and splendidly in not only defending the nation but also defeating the enemy Kingdom." Roland spoke as he looks down upon Kira. "Though there were sacrifices made to ensure the victory to be in our grasp, you still have done well in protecting our homeland. For that you have our eternal gratitude and we are forever in your debt." He then bowed his head a bit. "thank you, Count Bartfort."

This action was copied by all the nobles in the room, even Mylene and Lacus did the same.

Seeing their bows, Kira could only bow back.

"thank you for your gratitude, King Roland." Kira stated. "I am humbled to be given such great gratitude by all who are present here."

"You are welcomed, Count Bartfort." Roland said while lifting his head up. "with the war being over, I shall now relieve you of your position as Supreme Commander and relinquish the Royal Family's possession of the Royal Airship to your care."

This made all the nobles in the room look surprised and they began to look at one another, mentally asking on why the King is giving the royal airship to Kira.

"It may come as a surprise to all who are present, but the Royal Airship was only able to be unsealed with the help of the Count and Princess Lacus." Mylene stated as she spoke out in getting everyone's attention to her. "myself along with the King had a long discussion with Princess Lacus regarding what action should we take with the Royal Airship. Should we seal it once again or should we use it for the greater good?" she closed her eyes and raised a hand up to the side. "The discussion ended with the three of us agreeing the Count Bartfort should oversee its function and safety for we believe that he is someone worthy of using it."

"perhaps this is one of the many things that Miss Lacus has done to ensure your future in the Kingdom, Kira." Hachi said in a whisper. "allowing the people of the Kingdom to have the Eternal would be a very troublesome matter for us in the future."

"I guess that is true." Kira nodded.

"following the matter of relinquishment, I believe I can speak for my family that we have decided to relieve all charges given to the Count and allow him to establish his own household." Roland stated in as the King looks at Kira who stares back at the man. "as he may or may not decide to still continue being the vassal knight to the Bartfort Household, I personally grant him the permission to establish his own household with his original last name and that is Yamato." He stood up and waved out a hand forward. "let the cheers be raised for the birth of the Yamato Household and Count Kira Fou Yamato!"

With his words, all the nobles instantly began to clap their hands very loudly as this action was even followed by the knights in the room too.

Kira looks around to everyone before to Lacus who smiles to him while also clapping her hands with Mylene doing the same. Seeing this, he could only smile back and then proceeded to draw out his sword which he held with both hands and then raised it up while tilting his head down.

Roland sees Kira's action and proceeded to walk down then takes the young man's sword before gently raising it up. This made the Coordinator lower his hands and place one to his chest.

"Count Yamato, I dub thee a true noble of the Holfort Kingdom and a true savior of those in need." Roland said as he went and slowly patted the blunt side of the sword on Kira's shoulder one by one. "I envisioned a future for our Kingdom to prosper in your coming efforts."

"yes, your majesty." Kira replied as Roland returns his sword to him.

"now that all the pleasantries have been finished, I believe it is time to reward you for your bravery in the war, Count Yamato." Roland said before he returns to his seat and waves a hand to Lacus. "I would like to give the stage to my daughter for this as she has decided what rewards should be properly given to you for everything that you have done during the war and also compensation for everything that has happened before."

"thank you, father." Lacus did a head bow and a curtsy to Roland before she proceeded to stand before Kira who stayed down on one knee. "Count Kira Fou Yamato, another praise and an eternal gratitude be given to you for your acts of bravery, kindness, and ferocity during the war." She did a deep head bow. "thank you for saving the kingdom, Count Yamato."

"I am unworthy of your gratitude, Princess Lacus." Kira said as he bowed his head while smiling a bit. "it was only in my duties as a noble did I act in saving the Kingdom from times of danger." He then lifts his head to smile even more to Lacus. "and it was in my duties to ensure victory for the future of the Kingdom. For I am a knight of the Kingdom and a sworn protector for the Royal Family as well."

"I see." Lacus said after lifting herself up, the princess smiling lovingly to the young man. "true words of loyalty and bravery." She nodded her head and then looks to the nobles around them. "as such with all of the Count's actions for the Kingdom's peace, the royal Family would like to reward him with properly giving him a rank advancement to that of a higher ranked Count. However we have decided to abstain from doing so."

Her words made the nobles whisper and look at one another, wondering why Kira isn't getting a rank advancement.

"previously, before the war. The Count was falsely accused of being a spy for the Fanoss Dukedom." Lacus stated. "he was framed and sent into the Dungeon by the former Marquiss Frampton. This action was seen unforgivable by all and the only proper compensation that can be given to the Count would not be a promotion of a rank, but a physical reward that would truly benefit him."

"Physical reward?" "gold, is it?" "he might get a lot more land added into his territory." "he might be made into the royal family's knight." "That's a very high prestige." The nobles chattered amongst each other as they wondered what reward Kira is going to get.

"but before I speak of the Count's reward, I have an announcement to make." Lacus spoke out as she held a hand to her chest. "I, Princess Lacus Fou Holfort; a candidate heir to the Holfort Kingdom's throne declare that I revoke my candidacy to the throne and my lineage to the royal family!"

This made a tsunami of surprises be given to everyone in the room, literally everyone was shocked by her declaration.

"now this is quite the unexpected predicament." Hachi said as the AI beeped a few times. "I had foreseen Miss Lacus revoking her candidacy to the throne, but I did not foresee the outcome of Miss Lacus declaring her revoke in the royal family's lineage."

"this is getting very interesting~!" Creare said, all giddy. "I don't think Master Kira knew about this, right?"

"I don't." Kira said, very shooked and baffled.

"u-um…what would this mean, Angie?" Olivia asks her best friend in a whisper while looking very confused. "revoking her candidacy and lineage to the royal family? What does this mean?"

"It would mean that Princess Lacus won't be…well." Angelica replied while looking baffled to Princess Lacus who looks upon all who are present, the pink haired diva seeing everyone's confused faces. "she won't be…a princess anymore."

"I get revoking her candidacy, but why her lineage too?" Clarice said, sounding completely confused. "I mean, just why?"

"we aren't seeing the bigger picture here." Deidre said as she takes out her fan, spread it out, and held it by her mouth. "I believe that the Prin-…I mean Miss Lacus has something up in her sleeves."

"L-Lacus! What do you mean you are revoking your lineage to the family!? We didn't discuss this!" Roland asks. The King being shocked with the queen as both look baffled to the now former princess. "I would understand that you would revoke your candidacy to the throne, but why to the family too!? Why, Lacus!?"

"I choose to revoke both because I have failed, Father." Lacus stated as she turns to face the King. "I have failed in protecting the Kingdom."

"failed in protecting the Kingdom? What do you mean?" Mylene asks while holding a hand to her mouth. "you've protected the Kingdom, Lacus. You didn't fail at all, so.."

"no, I have failed." Lacus said after shaking her head and now looking very serious to the King and Queen. "I have failed in ensuring peace as I was foolishly deceived by the former Marquiss Frampton and his colleagues who have collaborated with the enemy before the war. Not only that, I have failed in ensuring the prosper of the Kingdom when the war had come as there's been movements by other nations during our times of crisis." She placed a hand to her chest and bowed her head. "I had designated myself as the peace diplomat of the Kingdom and I have failed in my task to ensure that peace. For this, I have decided to punish myself by relinquishing my standing in the royal family."

"b-but! Even if that's the case! You're not to be blamed! This situation is all because of!" Roland spoke, not wanting his daughter to no longer be a princess of the kingdom. But he was stopped when he sees that Lacus lifts her head up and showed him a tearful smile. "L-Lacus?!"

"I am eternally grateful for your love and kindness over the years, Father. No words can describe how I felt the love you have given me. thank you." Lacus said before bowing her head and then turns to face Mylene. "and no words can describe the wisdom, the kindness, and the love you have given me for these many years, Queen Mylene. Even though I am the daughter of one of the King's concubines, you have treated me as your true daughter. Your cared for me, taught me, and loved me. I cannot express how grateful I am for your love and kindness, Mother."

Roland and Mylene couldn't speak a single word in return, the King looking flabbergasted and could only made small incomprehensible noises while the Queen looks very tearful from hearing Lacus' words.

"Please honor this last request of mine as your daughter and please allow me to repent myself." Lacus said before bowing her head once again. "please."

The room went silent as the nobles and guests all look at the King and Queen who look very troubled by the situation.

Roland and Mylene looks at Lacus before they look to other places. The King having a hand to his forehead while looking very troubled; he didn't want to leave his daughter out of the family and he was about to declare that he is going to reject her request but he was stopped by the Queen who placed a hand to his shoulder. Both looked at one another and had a mental understanding.

"I see.." Roland said before he looks at Lacus. "you wish to revoke your lineage and candidacy to the throne, was it?"

"yes." Lacus nodded.

Roland looks at Lacus for a moment and then let out a heavy sigh before waving a hand to the side.

"I acknowledge your request and allow it." Roland stated. "starting tomorrow, your lineage is revoked and your status as the princess is to be ceased." He sighs once again and then smiles to Lacus. "but do know this, even if you are no longer considered a part of the royal family. You are still our daughter and you are always welcomed here, do you understand?"

Lacus could only nod with a smile before she proceeded to go up to the throne and gives a surprising hug to Roland who took a minute to returned it. A moment later, they separated before the princess goes to Mylene and hugs her too.

"Thank you for everything, Mylene-sama." Lacus whispers to the queen. "Thank you."

"It is I who should be thanking you, Lacus." Mylene replied. "I can't ever be more grateful to have a daughter like you." Both separated a bit as the queen gently caresses Lacus' cheek. "do be happy with what you wish to do with your life."

"I will, i promise." Lacus said with a nod as she then turns and went back to stand before Kira. "now, I believe that there is the Count's reward that must be declared now." She coughs into a fist once and then stood straight and looks upon her beloved man. "Count Yamato, please rise."

Kira did as he was told, the young man standing before the princess who held up her hand to him. He looks at the hand and then gently takes hold of it with his own.

"Count Yamato, for your bravery in the war against Fanoss. The Royal Family bestow upon you 400 thousand gold, allow your land to be tax free for three years, and…" Lacus spoke out before she placed her other hand to her chest and smiles. "I bestow myself to you in becoming your wife."

"eh?" Kira made a single noise before all hell breaks loose in the throne room.

"w-w-w-wife!? To Kira/-san!?" Angelica and Olivia exclaimed in shock.

"no way!" Clarice gasps. "Kira-kun is going to have Princess Lacus as his wife!?"

"so this is what she had planned, is it?" Deidre said while looking interested. "how peculiarly interesting."

"D-Dear! Kira is getting a princess as his wife! Would this mean he's going to be king!?" Luce asks her husband.

"no! Princess Lacus would no longer be a princess by tomorrow!" Balcus said before he looks completely confused. "wait! She's no longer be a princess by tomorrow but since she's getting married with Kira right now, that means she's still a princess, right? Wait? That's not right, hold on a second." He begins to scratch his head furiously. "ah! I don't know anymore!"

"why~!? Why is Kira-kun getting married to the princess and not me~?!" Jenna cried in tears while shaking Nicks. "why!?"

"I don't know and don't shake me~!" Nicks cried out.

"he's still going to be our house's knight, right?" Finley asks "So what's the big deal?"

"it's going to be a big deal because Kira-niichan is a hero and he's going to be King!" Colin stated. "he's going to be a cool and awesome king!"

"t-to think that he's now a hero and going to get married." "yeah, and before us too." Raymond and Daniel said before they and their friends all cried in tears and look very envious to Kira who flinched a bit to feel their stares. "WE'RE SO ENVIOUS~!"

"LACUS! WHAT'S THE MEANING OF THIS!?" Roland exclaimed. "you want to marry him!? No! I won't allow it! If you wanted to get married to someone! It would be with someone I approve! You can't just!"

"I can and you will approve, father." Lacus said as she turns to the King again. "for he is my destined soul mate."

"Lacus, this isn't the time to be saying such words!" Mylene cried out. "sure Count Yamato is a hero and all, but he doesn't have the right status to marry you! If you really wish to marry him.." she made a noise and looks surprised. "wait, is this why you revoke your own lineage too?!"

"indeed." Lacus replied while nodding. "for my marriage to be valid when I was a princess, it has to be with a person of the Duke Ranking or with a prince of another country. However I will no longer be a princess and the rule won't apply to me anymore." She place a hand to her chest and smiles. "that is why I can marry Kira without any restriction whatsoever."

"oooh~. So Miss Lacus has made such plans, didn't she~?!" Creare said all giddy. "this is getting more interesting by the second~!"

"you thought about it this much!?" Mylene said in surprise.

"even so! I cannot accept this union!" Roland exclaimed while sounding outraged. "Count Yamato is still a lower ranked count! You're still a princess now! Your union is still!"

"Can you really disapprove it after the war, Father?" Lacus asks as she cuts off Roland's words mid-sentence. The King looking surprised for a moment before he flinched when the princess went and smiles very sweetly to him. "if you don't allow it, I'll tell everyone about your…." Her voice went silent while her lips moved in forming the words "Masked Persona" to him.

Roland instantly looks scared beyond words as he went pale in fear.

"This is your only warning, father." Lacus said as she showed her eyes that went into SEED mode. The sight of her eyes and her sweet smile just made Roland even more scared than before. "never come in between me and Kira, understand?"

Roland just continues to be scared to the point he couldn't talk back anymore.

Mylene looks at Roland's state before to Lacus whose expression returned normal and she smiles to the queen.

"please understand that I choose to follow my heart, Mylene-san." Lacus told the queen with a smile before she turns to look back at Kira.

Mylene looks at Lacus for a moment before she sighs with a smile.

'I see..that's what give a change to her life.' Mylene thought as she stares at Lacus and Kira. 'how envious of myself to see such love.'

"will you accept your reward, Count Yamato?" Lacus asks Kira with a smile. "would you accept me to be your partner for your entire life?"

Kira took a moment to process her words but that ended when he got two bumps from Hachi and Creare's drones to his back to snap him out. The young man shakes his head once and smiles to the princess.

"I suppose that I should return that question of yours with my own." Kira said as he undid the top part of his uniform with one hand to take out his necklace and detaches the ring. He then goes down on one knee and asks with a smile. "Will you marry me, my Princess?"

Lacus smiles back and nodded before she replied with a big and happy. "Yes!"

Kira smiles very happily before he proceeded to slip the ring into Lacus' left hand's ring finger. He then stood up straight as the two faces the crowd around them.

"I will marry Count Yamato for he is the man I love with all my heart." Lacus spoke out. "if there are those who object, raise your voice now or stay silent."

Her words echoed in the room for a moment before the sound of clapping hands is heard. Everyone turns to see that it is Nicks who is clapping his hands.

Balcus and Luce looks at their son for a moment before they look at another and then smiles. The two then began to clap their hands with Nicks as this action was followed by Colin, Raymond, Daniel, and many others by the passing second.

In time, all the people in the room minus Roland are clapping their hands as they support the union between Kira and Lacus who smiles to hear their cheers before they look at another and smiled very happily.

"YAY~! YAY~! YAY~! HOORAY FOR MASTER KIRA AND MISS LACUS~!" Creare cheered as the AI's drone began to fire small confetti around the two. "HOORAY~!"

"I shall make preparations for the wedding." Hachi said before projecting a screen image to the two which contained data about wedding style. "would you like a formal church wedding or a traditional wedding out in the open?"

"let's think of it after we get the kingdom stable enough." Kira said while Lacus giggles and the two then leans close.

As the cheering claps continues, our attention is to Angelica, and the others who are watching Kira and Lacus being together.

"the princess found her knight and hero, is it?" Deidre said while fanning herself. "quite the dramatic romance."

"yeah, quite so." Clarice said after sighing.

"I guess, we've lost…" Olivia said with a sad smile as she watches the young man kissing the princess which made Roland look shocked and horrified in the background. "Princess Lacus won Kira-san's heart."

"I guess so.." Angelica replied as she sighs a bit and looks a bit sad. "I didn't think we ever had a chance at all." She sighs again before thinking back on something. 'still, there's still that to think of.' She looks at Lacus as she and Kira had finished kissing and are now hugging one another. 'I still want to know how she really did win Kira's heart.'

About an hour later, at a private room in the Holfort Castle. A little meeting has occurred between Kira, and Lacus with Mylene who sat before them while looking a bit exasperated.

"I have no words to describe the events of the earlier day." Mylene said as she rubs a hand to her forehead and then looks at Lacus. "I can't believe that you've planned this from the moment Fanoss surrendered to us, Lacus. I'm beyond baffled."

"you were the one who taught me that to fool the enemies I must fool my allies, Mylene-san." Lacus replied after giggling with a smile. "and also to think ten steps ahead of your rivals too."

"I don't know about the latter, but I can agree with the former." Mylene said before she sighs again and then takes a cup of tea that a maid in the room had presented to her. She shakes her head and sips her tea before sighing again. "Your father has become unstable from the moment of your declaration. I don't think he'll be able to govern the kingdom in his current state for a while."

"I see…" Lacus said while taking a glance to Kira's side as Hachi's drone came to project a small hologram of Roland looking pale white while sitting on his bed. She coughs a bit and then looks back at Mylene. "how unfortunate that father fell in such a condition."

"even though you are the one who caused it..." Mylene sighs one more time before placing her cup down on the table. "but let's put the matter aside and think of more pressing matters."

"more pressing matters?" Kira asks with a curious voice.

"it's about Lacus' position as a peace diplomat of the Kingdom." Mylene said while adjusting her hair a bit. "with her announcement of revoking her lineage and candidacy to the throne, there's no doubt that the neighboring nations would take this as a somewhat opportunity to invade or coerce or etc. simply meaning that they won't miss a chance if they see it up for grabs."

"that would make sense considering how much Miss Lacus has done over the years as a princess and diplomat." Hachi said as the AI's drone made an appearance while hovering between Kira and Lacus. "The neighboring nations did not dare to come and invade the Kingdom during the war thanks to the efforts that Miss Lacus has done."

"indeed." Mylene nodded. "from the political side to the economical side, Lacus has made sure that there is always peace between all neighboring nations." She then sighs a bit. "although some were quite forceful for their conditions of peace, Lacus has made sure that they didn't do anything crazy at all."

"does the Kingdom do not have their own diplomat that could take Lacus' place?" Kira asks. "surely over the years, Lacus didn't find the peace by herself, right?"

"you'd be surprised how much work I have to do, Kira." Lacus told him. "during the years before today, I was the one who replaced the former diplomats of the Kingdom who all failed in their duties." She sighs and looks a bit worried. "I tried teaching several promising nobles to be diplomats, but in the end; they failed in their duties and I had to clean up their mess every time."

"I-I see…" Kira said while imagining Lacus sweeping away a pile of troubling mess made by chibi people. "I think I can image it."

"anyway, we have a problem at our hands right now." Mylene said while folding her hands on her lap. "if Lacus abdicates her position as diplomat, we will have continuous trouble maintaining the peace with the other nations. Therefore, we need to find a solution for it."

"training and lecturing a new diplomat won't be productive considering that you would need their assistance at all times." Hachi stated. "may I suggest, selecting someone who is already well knowledgeable with the matters of diplomacy?"

"who do you have in mind, Hachi?" Lacus asks.

"Deidre Fou Roseblade." Hachi replied while projecting a hologram screen showing the young lady in question. "I had made some research with her grades and etc, I've found that her proficiency in diplomacy is quite high out of any students the Holfort Academy' records."

"The Roseblades are known to be great ambassadors considering that their ancestors were adventurers who are also pioneers." Mylene said as she cups her chin. "perhaps she could be a good substitute diplomat to take Lacus' place." She then sighs. "Albeit her personality is quite the concern."

"then it is settled." Lacus nodded while placing a hand to her chest. "Deidre Fou Roseblade shall become the Kingdom's new diplomat until I can find someone to take her place. Will that suffice, Mylene-san?"

"yes, it will." Mylene said before sighing and then picks up her cup of tea. "I guess that would solve all the current problems of the Kingdom for now.." she sips her tea and sighs again. "now for that other problem."

"other problem?" Lacus asks after hearing Mylene's words. "is there another matter that needs to be solved, Mylene-san?"

"well, it's not that of a major problem with the other nations…" Mylene said as she placed her cup of tea on the table and looks a bit awkward. "it's actually a problem between the Royal Family and other households against the Redgrave Household."

"against Angie's Household?" Kira asks. "what do you mean?"

"perhaps I can shine some light for the matter." Hachi said as the AI's drone comes and hovers in front of Kira and Lacus. "I didn't share this information with Kira because it occurred during the the midst of the war, but perhaps I should tell you now."

"What is it?" Kira asks.

"during the time you were falsely imprisoned in the Dungeon; Angelica-san, and Olivia-san made a plea to Marie Fou Lafan to set you free." Hachi said before projecting a hologram screen image of a recording on the event where Angelica and Olivia kowtowed to Marie in the school's public grounds where they get trash talked by the spoiled and uncouth students. "what?" Kira spoke out that single word while looking incredibly surprised before that expression changed into that of anger. "SHE DID WHAT!?"

At the Redgrave Household's mansion located near the Holfort Castle. Angelica is found walking in the hallway before she comes and stands in front of a door. She was silent while adjusting her uniform and clean up any dirt or mess on her to present herself more properly before she proceeded to knock on the door a few times.

"Excuse Me." Angelica said before she opened the door and enters into an office room which has Vince standing by his office table and staring at a painting of the Kingdom hanged up on a wall. The older man turns to see his daughter entering and then stands a few feet away from his table. "you have called for me, Father?"

"I have." Vince said before he proceeded to sit down on his office chair and looks at Angelica with an exasperated look on his face. "You have disappointed me, Angie."

Angelica didn't reply as she just nodded.

"The matter of your outburst in declaring a duel against the prince's so called lover was one thing, but Kowtowing with your friend at the academy's public square with many students watching you grovel? That's another matter that I cannot overlook." Vince said as he leans forward and folded his hands on the table. "no words can describe the emotions I am feeling right now. You have done nothing but throw mud on our household. No, on our Family's very honor."

Not replying again, Angelica just nodded. The young woman accepting all the blame for her actions in disgracing her household.

"albeit we won the war with Count Yamato's help, it doesn't change the fact that you did such disgraceful acts for a man who remains to be a lower ranked count and has no true benefit for us" Vince stated while lifting his folded hands up for him to lean his nose against. "tell me, do you regret doing such things for the sake of such man? Do you regret having been in love with a man who probably does not love you back?"

Angelica stayed silent for a moment as she stares down on the floor before she looks up and smiles all happy.

"I don't regret it one bit." Angelica said. "even if Kira doesn't love me back, I love him and I would do anything to help him. I don't regret my actions at all."

Vince sees Angelica's eyes and smile, the man seeing how his daughter has no sense of regret or whatsoever for her actions. This made the older man close his eyes and sigh in between his hands.

"is that so?" Vince spoke before scoffing a bit while smiling. "it would seem that you are a fool for love, Angie."

Angelica just nodded in reply, not having any sense of regret.

"for your actions in disgracing our household for the second time, I have to properly punish you." Vince said as he slowly gets off his seat and then begins to walk to the window nearby. "being the disgrace you have become, I'll have to marry you off to another household for a sense of friendship with one another."

"yes." Angelica replied, understanding that her fate is sealed once she disgraced her household once again. "I understand."

"You say it like you've already accepted what is to come to you." Vince said as he glanced at Angelica. "Are you not curious as to who I will be marrying you off to?"

"I've already accepted my fate the moment I disgraced the household." Angelica said before she sighs and smiles a bit. "but I am curious to who I would be spending my entire life with."

"I see.." Vince looks at his daughter before to the view outside. "There is a new household which has been established in the Kingdom recently. the Head of the Household is a foreigner who has become quite the high standing noble in mere months and amassed quite the fortune with his factory of producing airships and Armors. Although he is now engaged to the former princess of the Kingdom, there's still a chance of you being his mistress along with your friend too."

"eh? But that's…" Angelica looks surprised to hear her father's words as she is very familiar with her possible marriage candidate. "Father?"

"You showed me your resolve when you confronted me that day, Angie." Vince said. "to see such determination and bravery from my own daughter. As your father, I could not be more proud to see you act with your heart instead of your emotions." He then turns and smiles to her. "I'll talk with the Count and his vassal household to see if there's such possibility for you to be with him, but I want you to keep up that determination and keep on striding for his love. Understand?"

"Father…" Angelica looks at her father for a moment before her eyes began to tear up as she realized that her father was never going to punish her at all. "Father!" she then ran up to him and hugs him. "i'm sorry for disgracing the household! I'm sorry for everything! I'm sorry!"

"it's fine." Vince said as he hugs his daughter back. The older man gently caressing her head while smiling. "You done well for our family and the Kingdom. I couldn't be more proud to have you as my daughter, Angie. It's fine."

"I swear that I will make you more prouder than ever!" Angie cried out. "I swear that I'll help our household in its dire need! I swear that I'll love Kira as much as I love our family! I swear!"

"I know you will, Angie. I know you will." Vince said while patting her back before he gently lifted Angie's face up to wipe away her tears with his thumb. "just promise me that you'll take care of yourself, okay?"

Angelica nodded before hugging her father even more.

As Vince returns her hug once again, an abrupt knocking was heard from the room's door. The sound was loud enough to interrupt the moment.

"Who is it?" Vince called out as he separated from the hug with Angelica. "this is currently a private meeting."

"it's me, Father!" Gilbert's voice is heard from the other side as the door was opened by the man who came in. "I bring you urgent news!"

"what is it?" Vince asks. "what could be so urgent that you have to come here to abruptly?"

"the thing is…" Gilbert said before Olivia made an appearance as she runs to Angelica.

"Livia? Why are you here?" Angelica asks, surprised to see her friend.

"Angie, it's bad!" Olivia cried out while looking out of breath. "it's Kira-san!"

"what? what's wrong with Kira?" Angelica asks, becoming worried when her crush' name was mentioned. "what's wrong with Kira, Livia?"

"he's going on a rampage at the castle! He's!" Olivia cried out before a loud explosion was heard as everyone turns to the window and sees smoke coming out from a part of the Holfort castle.

"What in the world?" Angelica spoke out before she flinched when another explosion came from the castle as this time it was bigger than the previous one.

In the Holfort Castle and in one of the many hallways, there's Marie who is running around with all her might while looking scared beyond words as she looks so pale like she saw a ghost.

"ANYONE! PLEASE HELP ME!" Marie cried out in tears a she runs around a corner and keeps on running before the back hallway had small missiles flying in and destroy the wall that went pass. "eeekkk~!"

Marie runs before stumbling on herself and fell to the floor where she rolled on for a few times. the small girl stops when she bumps her back to the wall to a corner path.

"owowowow~!" Marie rubs her back before she made a noise when she heard footsteps near the wall that had been exploded. She looks up in fear as she saw a figure walking in the smoke which soon reveals Kira who is holding a customized missile launcher/RPG bazooka cannon in his grasps. "w-wait! If you do any more damages to the castle! The king might get mad at you!"

"so?" Kira asks as his voice sounded emotionless. "if he gets mad at me, what will he do to me that will be much more worse than what I am going to do with you?" his eyes squinted a bit before widening to reveal that he had gone to SEED mode. "well!?"

Marie felt that she might had pissed herself from the fear as she was really scared of Kira after everything that has happened.

"wait! If it's about them kowtowing, I apologize with all my heart!" Marie cried out. "I was joking that time when I told them to kowtow in public! I didn't think that they would do it!"

"a joke? It was a joke, you say?" Kira said as he slowly looks furious to the point he aimed his bazooka at Marie. "YOU THINK IT' A JOKE TO DISGRACE PEOPLE IN PUBLIC, LITTLE BRAT!?"

"iiihhhh!" Marie squeals in fear before she begins to run and evaded another missile that nearly hits her yet cause an explosion that nearly blew her away. "SOMEONE! HELP ME!"

As Marie continues to run in the corner, Kira comes into the scene and aims his bazooka before firing another missile.

"COME BACK HERE AND PAY FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU'VE DONE!" Kira shouted as he fired another shot and then chases after Marie after the missile exploded.

With this little cat and mouse game goes on, this causes a scene as the kingdom's knights couldn't do anything considering that Kira has a destructive weapon in hand.

"w-what should we do!?" "The Count has gone berserk!" "we should stop him!" "how!? He got a weapon that could literally destroy a wall in seconds!" "we should call for the princess! She can stop him!" "didn't you hear!? The Princess allowed him to do this stunt in the castle!" the knights chattered amongst each other as they could only stand by and do nothing but watch and see how Kira is literally destroying the castle by the second as he keeps on chasing after Marie.

As this situation progresses, Angelica along with Olivia came into the scene as they are followed by Julius and his entourage. The five foolish lovers of Marie being out of prison after getting a hefty punishment from Kira and their families.

"w-what's going on here!?" Brad exclaimed. "why is Bartfort going berserk in the castle!?"

"more importantly, what is he doing to Marie!?" Julius exclaimed as he sees Marie running around and straight for them but while being chased by Kira who threw away his bazooka and now wields a spear that he snatched from a nearby knight.

"how cruel!" Chris exclaimed. "Hurry, Marie! Run to us and we can stop Bartfort!"

"Marie-san! Here! Run pass us and get to safety!" Jilk cried out as he and the others make a path for Marie. "hurry!"

"please stop him!" Marie cried out in tears. "he's going to kill me!"

When Marie came pass them, Julius and the others make a wall that would block Kira.

"Bartfort! You bastard! How dare you make Marie scared and make her cry!?" Greg exclaimed. "I'll pummel you and!"

Before Greg could finish his sentence, Kira came and jumped before he swings the bottom part of the spear and slams all five men's faces together which led to them to get slammed to the side.

"Guuaahh!" Julius and the others cried out in pain as they get slammed to each other before down to the floor.

Angelica and Olivia could only gasps in surprise as Kira took all five down in a single motion.

After slamming the five fools down, Kira stops in his tracks as he lost all the momentum of the chase because of the five men.

"y-you! How dare you try to harm Ma-!?" Julius was about to get up and stop Kira from chasing Marie, but the Ultimate Coordinator just grabs his face and lifted him up. "ugh!?"

"You're in my way." Kira said as he showed his dimly glowing SEED mode eyes which scared Julius. "GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!"

Kira threw Julius up before using all force to swing the spear's bottom edge to send the man flying like a baseball.

"agghhh!" Julius cried out in pain as he flies into the hallway before he crashed to a wall that gets a hole in the shape of his body.

As Julius lies in the hole and slowly falls out, Marie made an appearance by peeking her head up because she had ducked when the former crowned prince was sent flying.

"h-he literally threw Julius here!?" Marie looks in surprise before she squeaks when she sees Kira batting off Jilk and the others one by one. "IIIKKK~!"

Marie runs off as she left Julius who gets accompanied by Jilk and the others. The other men getting crashed into the wall and making a hole that is added to the former princes' as they all soon fall and piled on top of him.

Kira huffs his breathing a bit roughly as he was very pissed at the moment.

"um, Kira-san…" Olivia tried to call out to Kira but squeaks when the young man turns and shows his eyes to her. "n-nothing!"

"don't get in my way." Kira said before he chases after Marie again.

As Kira runs off to get Marie, Olivia and Angelica could only stay in their place and look in disbelieved.

"What did that girl do this time?" Angelica asks, wondering what could've made Kira so angry.

"it is because of what she did to you two before." A voice is heard as Angelica and Olivia turns to see Mylene and Lacus coming to their side. "Kira is very angry against Marie Fou Lafan for what she had done to the both of you."

"to the both us?" Olivia said before she made a surprised gasp when she realized what they are talking about. "w-wait, is it because of us kowtowing to Marie-san at school?"

"Kira learned about the incident from Hachi and he was not very pleased." Lacus stated. "he knows that if Angelica-san did such thing, it would disgrace her household and lead to her being punished." She closed her eyes and sighs. "Marie Fou Lafan had this coming."

"w-wait! If he's doing this for us, he doesn't need to because…" Angelica spoke out before wincing when a couple of knights suddenly came flying to the wall and piled on top of Julius and the others. She and the others looked and saw how the group got knocked out with a single blow to one part of their body. "he's going to destroy the castle at this point."

"we know." Mylene said after sighing, the queen now face palming a bit. "I thought that if we allowed Kira-kun to vent his anger out at Marie, it would calm him quicker. But to think that he would resort to do this…."

"follow us as we go after him and stop him." Lacus said before she goes forward and leads everyone to follow after Kira and his trail of destruction.

In an empty guest room of the castle, there's nothing inside but furniture and what not. It is all silent before there is a loud noise outside and the door was swung open by Marie who came in, closed the door, and locked it.

Marie huffs her breathing as she leans against the door, hoping to block Kira from coming in.

"hahahahahahaha~!" Marie huffs her breathing as she tried to calm her incredibly fast beating heart. "please don't find me! please don't find me~! please don't find me~!"

Marie started to pray that Kira wouldn't find her in the room, the little girl praying with all her heart.

"please, god! Buddha! Jesus! Allah! All the gods of my previous life and my current life! Please help me! please spare me~!" Marie prays very fast. "I will be a good girl! I will be a very good girl! I won't lie anymore! I won't stoop up to anything bad anymore! I'll do charity! I'll apologize to anyone who I did wrong! Please! Please spare me~!"

As Marie continues to pray, the door knob suddenly shakes and swivels as this made her flinch very hard while her hands quickly shut her mouth up.

Marie looks at the swiveling doorknob as she tried her best to keep quiet. It felt like a horror movie for her as she prayed that her chaser wouldn't find her no matter what.

The door knob continues to swivel and turn a few times but it didn't unlock the door.

'please! Please! Please!' Marie continues to pray and pray, the little girl praying for her life to be spared.

As the door knob continues to turn a few times, it stops and this gave a small sense of relief for Marie.

'did he…give up?' Marie thought. 'did someone come and stop him? Am I saved?'

Marie looks at the doorknob as she looks at it with hopeful eyes but that hope quickly disappeared when the blade of a spear pierced above the door's knob.

"ighhh~!" Marie squeaks as the spear's blade turns and swivels before it was pulled out and then plunged in once again to make the hole even bigger. This action was repeated several times again to the point that the door had a hole big enough to show Kira's face.

"Found you~…" Kira spoke out as this literally scared Marie.

"PLEASE STOP! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY FOR EVERYTHING THAT I HAD DONE TO YOU AND EVERYONE!" Marie cried out as she got on her knees and did a dogeza. "I'LL APOLOGIZE TO THOSE GIRLS! I APOLOGIZE TO EVERYONE WHO I HAVE DONE WRONG! I WON'T DO ANYTHING STUPID ANYMORE! II PROMISE! SO PLEASE SPARE ME! PLEASE!"

Kira looks at Marie as he watched her continue to please for a moment before he pulls out and disappeared.

As Marie continues to pray, she slowly lifted her head up and sees that Kira is no longer seen at the hole.

"eh? He's gone?" Marie spoke out. "did he leave? Did he spare me?"

Marie wondered if Kira left as she slowly but hesitantly went and peeks to the outside to see if Kira is still around. Her eyes checked the outside before they widened when they see the large mechanical fist of the Strike coming right at her from the window by the hallway.

"aggghhh!" Marie screams in fear as she runs away before the door to the room gets busted open by the large fist.

Marie hides under a table while a bunch of broken rubble of the door and wall came falling around near her. The little girl now being very scared as she hides without noticing that Kira had walked into the room while the Strike pulled back its arm.

"you want to apologize to all the people you did wrong? You want to apologize to Angie and Livia?" Kira asks as he comes into the room and then turns to approach the table which Marie is hiding under. The little girl now shaking in utter terror while having cold sweat all over herself. "Is that going to be another joke? Another joke that would get more people in trouble?" he lifted the spear and turns its blade down before he pierced the top of the table and to the ceramic floor. The sharp edge being very near to the frightened girl's face which turned even more scared than before. "well? Is it?"

Marie couldn't utter a word as she is too scared to even speak or move.

Kira looks down upon the table as he pulled the spear out and held it up, ready to do another thrust but was stopped when a pair of hands came and held it back.

Seeing the hands that are stopping him, Kira's eyes spotted a familiar ring on the left hand's ring finger. The young man tensing up for a moment before he relaxed a bit.

"Why are you stopping me, Lacus?" Kira spoke out as it was Lacus who had stopped him. "Weren't you angry with me for what this brat girl did? All this trouble for the kingdom, all of it is because of her. Why are you stopping me?"

"It's because I don't want you to be a murderer, Kira." Lacus spoke out in a gentle voice as she slowly but surely made Kira let go of the spear which was dropped to the floor. "this girl has done so many bad deeds in the Kingdom, but justice will be delivered upon her. Therefore, you need to stop, Kira."

Kira slowly huffs his breathing a bit as he stares down upon Marie through the hole, the young man still feeling very angry for everything that she has done, but Lacus was correct as justice will be served upon Marie for all her sins.

Slowly but surely, Kira gets gently pulled away by Lacus who takes him away from Marie. The princess takes him near the destroyed doorway where Mylene along with Angelica and Olivia are found standing by.

"I will be taking Kira away to calm him down." Lacus told Mylene and the others while holding Kira's arm close. "Mylene-san, please assure me that you will find the fitting punishment for all the sins that Marie Fou Lafan has done."

"y-yes…I will." Mylene nodded before she awkwardly looks at the destruction that is left upon the castle. "but what about all these damages? Who will pay for them?"

"I believe I can be of service." Hachi spoke out as the AI's drone made an appearance with Creare's drone. The two are accompanied with numerous worker robots that began to go around in cleaning up all the rubble. "I knew that this level of destruction would be done by Kira when he learned about what Marie Fou Lafan had done, so I made preparations."

"if you knew that he'll do this, why didn't you stop him?" Angelica asks. "you could've stopped him from doing all this unnecessary damage."

"Angie is right!" Olivia cried out. "I get that Kira-san is angry for us but doing this much damage!"

"are~? Is that really what you wish to say?" Creare asks. "what would you do if it was Master Kira who kowtowed for you two? Would you stay calm and sane if he did so and somehow gets banished from his household if the positions were reversed?"

"That's…." Angelica and Olivia thought about it and could only imagine themselves being angry and upset on Marie if such a thing happened to Kira. They then looked away and couldn't help but agree with such a notion. "we can't say…"

"see? This much destruction is worth it if it lets Master Kira vent out everything." Creare said while the robots are taking away the rubble and began the repairs for the destroyed room's door and the hallway. "I can predict that Miss Angelica would use her fire magic to burn everything and I can predict Miss Olivia who would smack anyone silly with a bat if the situation calls for it."

Angelica and Olivia could only look at each other with embarrassed faces as they really would do so if it happens.

"I trust you to finish this in time, Hachi?" Lacus asks the AI.

"it shall be done in two hours at the max." Hachi replied. "please be assured, Miss Lacus."

Lacus nodded before she begins to take Kira away, but just as she did.

"wait!" Angelica cried out to Lacus who stops and turns to look at the blonde who looks determined about something. "after you calm Kira down, can we meet with you at the castle's garden?"

"for what purpose?" Lacus asks.

"it's an important matter that we need to know from you." Angelica replied. "we need to discuss it today and not later."

Lacus looks at Angelica for a moment before nodding.

"I shall meet you all at the castle garden in three hours from now." Lacus said before she continues to bring Kira away. "please do not be late."

"yes." Angelica nodded before she looks at Olivia who came near her.

"um, what is it that you want to talk with Princess Lacus, Angie?" Olivia asks her friend.

"it's just something that we both really want to know from Princess Lacus." Angelica said before she thought about something when she glanced up. "I guess we should also invite Clarice as well for this."

"eh? Clarice-senpai too?" Olivia asks, very curious and confused.

As this little chat continues, everyone forgot about Marie whose hiding place gets taken away from the worker robots. The young girl is revealed to have fainted as she is letting out foaming bubbles from her mouth while her eyes are comically turned into large Xs.

About three hours later, at the castle garden. Angelica along with Olivia and Clarice are found standing by as they have just arrived and are waiting for Lacus to come.

"hey, what's the stuff you want to talk about with Princess Lacus?" Clarice asks Angelica. "and why I need to be in it?"

"let's just say that it involves something we are all curious about Kira." Angelica replied.

"and that is?" Olivia asks, confused yet curious.

"it would be about the Count's origin, isn't it?" Deirdre's voice is heard as everyone turns to see the Roseblade Daughter making an entrance into the garden, the blonde ringlets having her fan opened and held near her face. "you wish to ask the Princess about her knowledge of Count Yamato, aren't you?"

"Deidre. Why are you here?" Angelica asks while looking a bit tense at Deidre. "and how did you know that we were gathered here?"

"oh please, it doesn't take a genius to figure out your plan after the Princess announces her engagement to the Count." Deidre said while fanning herself and then smirks a bit. "after all, I can tell a woman in love when I see one." She then looks at the others besides Angelica. "or I should say women in love in this case."

"wait, are you saying that Princess Lacus knows about Kira's homeland?" Olivia asks while turning to Angelica. "she knows about Kira's homeland named the Earth Federation?"

"I think so." Angelica replied.

"you think so?" Clarice said while looking a bit unsure. "sure she's going to be a normal person by tomorrow, but she's still considered a princess today, right? Won't asking a question that is a bit of the unsure nature be a bit disrespectful to her?"

"I know, but something tells me that she knows." Angelica stated as she thinks back about all the times that Kira and Lacus are together. "that level of kinship between the two isn't simply from one encounter. I know that they know each other from a time before today, I am certain of that."

Everyone looks at Angelica before to each other, they couldn't help but feel an agreement with the Redgrave daughter.

As they chatted a minute more, Lacus made an appearance as the pink haired diva comes walking into the garden with the company of Hachi's drone.

"ara? I had thought that this meeting would only be myself along with Angelica-san and Olivia-san?" Lacus asks while coming to face the group and seeing Clarice with Deidre. "Clarice-san and Deidre-san are here for what reason?"

"Let's just say that we are curious in something that Angelica wants to converse with you, Princess Lacus." Clarice replied while Deidre nodded.

"I see." Lacus said before she faces Angelica. "and what is the topic of this meeting, Angelica-san?"

"that's…" Angelica spoke before she trailed off for a moment as she looks down and then looks back to face Lacus. "We want to know. We want to know why are you and Kira so close." She then held a hand to her chest. "We've met Kira at the academy nearly 5 months ago and barely know him, yet you encountered him once and know so much about him. Why is it that you know so much about Kira than we do?"

Lacus looks at Angelica for a moment before she closed her eyes and sighs a bit while she turns to begin taking a slow stroll around the garden with Hachi's drone following by.

"I believe that this topic would soon come from either of you in the future." Lacus spoke as she stops near a patch of pink daisies, the princess bending down a bit to gently caress a few of the flowers before she stood up straight and looks at the group. "if you wish to know, please take a seat for this will take a while to explain."

Angelica and the others look at Lacus for a moment before to the side as worker robots appeared while carrying chairs for them to use.

A minute later, everyone was seated at their seats while Lacus choose to sit upon a stone bench.

"Kira is from the land known as the Earth Federation. No, he's actually a part of ORB." Lacus said as she folded her hands on her lap. "it's a land far yet vast from Holfort Kingdom or any other of the neighboring Kingdoms."

"is it that far?" Olivia asks, curious.

"perhaps far would be an understatement to its precise location." Lacus said before she looks to the side and held a hand to gently caress a white lily. "you see, ORB is not a kingdom like ours. It's a nation that floats upon the very sea."

"wait, you mean it's an island upon the seas?" Clarice asks. "I though such things would be myths." She then looks at Deidre. "all islands have floating stones and if they don't have them, they would sink into the ocean, right?"

"true." Deidre nodded. "though there's been rumors from several nobles of seeing such islands upon the sea. Yet many were just rumors that have not been proven to be real."

"so this nation named ORB, it floats upon the sea." Angelica said while leaning a bit forward. "what does it have to do with you knowing Kira's origins?"

"it does have everything to do with myself knowing Kira's origins." Lacus replied. "I first met Kira nearly 10 years ago when ORB came floating underneath our very kingdom."

"w-wait what!?" Angelica and the others looks shocked while Lacus nodded and Hachi's drone came floating to the front and projected an image of a large floating island that is currently located below the Holfort Kingdom.

"ORB is a land of great advancements. It is a nation whose territory encompasses of islands connected to each other and it's a nation govern by both an elected legislature, comprising the Senate and a House of Representatives, and an aristocracy of five noble clans who once founded and ruled the island nation.." Lacus stated and Hachi projected more images of ORB for Angelica and the others to watch. The group wowed a bit to see how the nation is very advanced. "though their land does not hover in the sky, they have amassed knowledge to allow their land to swim upon the sea."

"it's so incredible…" Olivia said, seeing cars, motorcycles, tall buildings, and many more. "some of them are like the stuff that Kira-san has at his land."

"yeah, definitely." Clarice stated, noticing the major similarity of the motorbikes in the image and the ones at Kira's island. She then looks at Lacus. "but if such a place had once come below our kingdom, how come none of us knew about it? If it was ten years ago, many nobles would know about it, right?"

"many nobles would, if they had properly looked down." Lacus replied as she looks at Hachi's drone that projected the ORB island which is somehow shielded by what appears to be an energy barrier that made it disappear. "you see, ORB is cloaked and none can see it with the naked eye. This is why no nation nor kingdom has ever laid their eyes upon it. It's a land that is invisible to the world."

"that's some magic." Deidre stated. "to have the power to completely cloak an entire nation, this ORB must be quite advanced with their magic."

"I'm afraid that is incorrect." Hachi spoke out. "the nation ORB and the people do not use magic for they do not have such capacity to do so."

"eh?" everyone becomes surprised again. "they can't use magic?"

"b-but Kira-san could use magic, right?" Olivia asks, remembering the past at the school during the magic lesson and she remembers Kira firing a fireball at a target. "I mean I saw him do so…"

"that was me using my capabilities to make people think that Kira could use magic." Hachi replied. "after all, it would be unproductive if Kira keeps getting failing marks on his magic aptitude tests, correct?"

"well, I guess that's true…" Clarice said with a sweatdrop before she crosses her arms and looks back at the screen. "but if they can't use magic, how they get to do all of this? Making their island float upon the sea, making vehicles, and so much more. How they do it?"

"technology." Lacus replied. "it's a term used by the people of Kira's homeland, they use technology to create machinery and the machinery create more technology that is used to do many wonders." She then looks at Hachi's drone and smiles. "Hachi here is a result of the technology."

"really?" Olivia asks, surprised.

"indeed." Hachi replied with a few beeps.

"so that's Kira's Homeland, huh?" Angelica said while looking at the screen before she looks at Lacus. "but that doesn't explain one important matter that hasn't been answered yet."

"I know what you mean, Angelica-san." Lacus nodded. "you wish to know how could I had encountered Kira if ORB was cloaked and couldn't be seen, correct?"

"if such a nation existed underneath our noses, how is it that you are the only one to have found it?" Angelica asks with squinted eyes. "I find it hard to believe that you could find it without some sort of a miracle."

"a miracle…is it?" Lacus spoke before she looks up and closed her eyes then tilts her head down. "I suppose it was a miracle that I met Kira." She opened her eyes and looks at Angelica. "or rather, it was merely an accident that we've encountered one another."

"an accident?" Angelica and the others replied in unison.

"I suppose all of you remember the news of my accident years ago?" Lacus asks while gently holding a hand to the small scar upon her forehead. "and how it somehow changed the perspective of my life as Holfort Kingdom's princess?"

Everyone nodded as they went silent for a moment before they look surprised.

"wait, are you saying that you…"Clarice said and Lacus nodded.

"I met Kira when he had come to visit our nation in secret." Lacus said before she sighs a bit. "I guess the matter of Kira being a spy of a foreign nation would be correct if it was discovered." She slowly gets off her seat and then comes near a patch of red roses. "nearly 10 years ago, Kira had come to investigate our kingdom in secret. He was tasked by his nation to see if our nation was a threat or not. His nation had just escaped from a war and plans to not be involved in another one with our kingdom" She then gently caresses one of the roses' flowers. "he infiltrated the castle, but in doing so the both of us met."

"so that's how you know Kira-san?" Olivia asks, a bit wowed to the revelation.

"yes." Lacus nods with a smile as she caresses the roses before she stood up straight and looks up then smiles when Tori came flying by. The princess holding up her right hand with a finger pointed out for the mechanical bird to come down and perched on it. "though he was a spy, he was still a child at the same age as myself. I've met him by chance and we've somehow bonded over the time he stayed at the kingdom." She sighs and watches the metal bird turning and twisting its head several times before hopping on her finger a few times. "he learned about our kingdom for myself and it was vice versa for myself. I was happy to met him as he was my first friend and my first love…" she then frowns a bit as she watches her lover's mechanical pet fly away. "but that happiness was only short lived for 7 days."

"how?" Angelica asks.

"Kira was tasked to get intel about our kingdom for the time of 7 days and after that passes; he must return to his home nation." Lacus said before she goes back to sit down on the stone bench. "I was saddened of his departure, I was saddened of having my very first friend leaving me." she then held up her left hand and gently caresses the ring on her ring finger while having a small smile. "but on that day, Kira made a promise to me. he promised that one day he'll be back for me." she clasped her hands together. "and he kept that promise when he came to our kingdom those months ago."

Everyone looks at the princess for a moment before to each other, wondering if such a story was true or not.

"I don't blame you for not believing my story, but it's the truth." Lacus spoke out. "Kira is from ORB, he's a foreigner who is once a spy and he is now a noble of our kingdom." She slowly gets up from her seat and looks at the group who looks back at her. "whether you wish to trust him again or not after finding out about his origins, do know that he's no threat to any of us or to the Kingdom. That's the only thing I wish to ask of you all."

Everyone looks at the princess before to each other, as they soon smiled when they look back at Lacus.

"we trust Kira with all our hearts." Angelica said. "he's the man who saved my life and become my first true friend. There's no way I wouldn't trust him anymore."

"Kira-san is a very nice person and a good friend! There's no way I would ever hate him!" Olivia added in.

"he helped me get back at Jilk for dumping me so terribly." Clarice said while crossing her arms on her chest. "and besides, I'm his senior who got to look out for him."

"I suppose the same for myself too." Deidre stated before holding her fan near her face to cover her smile. "also, he's someone who saved my life during Fanoss' first invasion. Therefore I am in his debt."

Lacus hears their replies and nodded with a smile.

"thank you very much." Lacus bowed her head a bit before she stood up straight. "I believe that is all you wish to hear from myself about Kira?"

"yeah, I guess so.." Clarice said with a nod. "thanks for your time, Princess Lacus."

"I won't be a princess anymore by tomorrow." Lacus replied. "by then, just call me Lacus Fou Yamato. Just that."

"right, you're officially his wife." Deidre said as she looks away with a meek expression. "how fortunate."

After that, Lacus begins to make her way out of the garden with Hachi following. The princess taking her steps a bit slow as she comes straight for the entrance but was stopped by Angelica who stood up from her seat.

"wait!" Angelica cried out as she got everyone's attention. The Redgrave Household's daughter looking straight at Lacus with a determined face. "I need to make a confession to you."

"and what is it?" Lacus asks as she turns around to face Angelica. "What is your confession?"

Angelica was silent for a moment as she looks down a bit while clenching her fists tight and then looks up to face the princess with a very serious face.

"I Love Kira!" Angelica announced with a very strong determination in her voice.

Everyone minus Lacus looks a bit taken aback from her confession, the Redgrave Household

"I love Kira with all my heart!" Angelica stated with a hand to her chest. "Kira helped me in my direst of times, and he is a true friend who I longed for with all the love in my heart." Her eyes shows a fiery passionate fire that burns within them. "I won't ever stop loving him!"

Hearing her declaration, Lacus could only blink normally and tilt her head a bit to the side.

"I see." Lacus replied. "and may I inquire why would you make such a confession to me?"

"I..no, we all know that you are the only person in the entire kingdom and the entire world to have his entire love, but I want to let you know that I love Kira as much as I could ever love anyone." Angelica stated. "I want to be with Kira forever!"

"are you implying that you wish to be wedded to Kira as his mistress?" Lacus asks. "you do know that your ranking as Duke Redgrave's daughter would be disgraced if you become Kira's Mistress instead of his legal wife, correct?"

"I don't care if I become his mistress or his concubine or anything! Father supports my very decisions and is proud of the decision I follow with my heart!" Angelica replied. "just being able to be at his side and giving him my love is enough for me! I want to love Kira as much as you do!"

Everyone looks at Angelica for a moment before they see Olivia standing up with a determined face.

"I too! I love Kira-san!" Olivia declared.

"Livia?" Clarice spoke out in surprise from seeing the timid blonde raising her voice in her declaration to Lacus.

"Kira-san is the first person to be my friend. he's the very first person who helped me when I was being bullied at the academy." Olivia spoke with her head tilted down, the blonde remembering all the times she had spent together with Kira back at the school. "he helped me so many times, and I could never expect to repay him for everything that he has done for me. that's why…" she looks up and faces Lacus. "That's why I too want to be with Kira-san too! I don't care if I become a concubine at all! I love Kira-san as much as I love Angie too!"

"Livia…" Angelica looks at Olivia with a bit of a surprised face.

Lacus looks at Angelica and Olivia before to Clarice who stood up from her seat.

"if we're all being honest then I should say that I also love Kira-kun." Clarice stated with a hand to her chest and her expression being happy. "that young man helped me get over my grief of being dumped by that bastard ex-fiancé of mine. He helped me so much and I've done so little in return." She sighs a bit and then smiles a bit more. "if you can accept me, Angie, and Livia to be with Kira. Please allow us to be with Kira even if it means being his mistresses or concubines. we won't regret this decision of ours."

"Just like with Angelica-san, Your Household's standing would be disgraced a bit, right?" Lacus asks. "Won't it be something regretful for you to be in the future if you are his mistress or concubine?"

"it won't be regretful or anything, but a joy to remember." Clarice replied while shrugging her shoulders a bit. "heck, even my father would understand this decision of mine and support it."

"I see.." Lacus said before she looks at Deidre who remains seated. "you have nothing to declare as well, Deidre-san?"

"as much as I have some adoration for Count Yamato, it's nothing to be compared for the adoration that Angelica and the others hold for the man." Deidre stated before holding her opened fan near her mouth and closing her eyes. "I shall abide until I find the future where the Count would adore me back."

Lacus looks at Deidre before to Hachi's drone that came hovering near her right shoulder.

"as much as the rules of the Kingdom allows Polygamy, you can still choose the decision to allow such notion for Kira, Miss Lacus." Hachi stated before the AI's drone came hovering in front of the girls. "Apologies for being blunt, but allowing Kira to be in a polygamy relationship with all three of you would be counterproductive."

"how so?" Angelica asks while Olivia looks confused.

"in the history recorded in Kira's homeland, polygamy relationships results in an inequality between men and women, this increases the risk of harmful effects for women and this leads to the effect of discrimination against such relations." Hachi replied with a few beeps. "in our land, polygamy is not supported and forbidden. I believe that I can say this that Kira would also be troubled with such a relation in the future if it was accepted"

"we won't trouble him, we just want to be with him." Clarice stated with a hand to her chest. "you have our words that Kira-kun won't be troubled or anything if we can be with him."

"your words cannot be convincing if you are unable to predict the future." Hachi replied. "I am an AI and I don't know if such notion is possible for Kira as I believe that only Miss Lacus can be with him for she's the only one who can help him heal from the mental and physical strains of the war." The AI beeps before projecting a hologram screen showing the photos of Lacus and the three girls with a statistic pie that shows their intelligence, strengths, and weaknesses. "in the statistics of calculation, I find that Miss Lacus has the proper knowledge, strengths, and the least weaknesses if there comes a time when Kira is in danger. Though you all have your best strengths and skills, you still have weaknesses that others can exploit without your knowing. Therefore this leads to the conclusion that the only person who could actually be with Kira is Miss Lacus herself."

Angelica and the others listens to Hachi's words, as they could understand that they have their own weaknesses like how the Redgrave daughter has quite the temper that could be used against herself, Olivia being timid as she can be quite scared easily, and Clarice has a time of weakness after being dumped by her ex-fiancé.

"I am sorry if I was harsh in my words, but you must understand that Kira can only be truly helped and heal from his wounds by Miss…" Hachi spoke before being stopped by Lacus who held the AI's drone. "Miss Lacus?" the AI made a few beeps as the princess smiles before gently pushing the drone aside to face the girls.

"I'm glad to hear your confessions and I'm glad to know that Kira has the love and adoration from you three." Lacus speaks as she faces them with a serious face. "but do you understand the risks and sacrifices that you three would make for him?"

"risks?" "Sacrifices?" Angelica and Olivia spoke in unison.

"even though Kira is a noble of the Holfort Kingdom, he is still a foreigner who would one day leave the Kingdom to return to his own homeland." Lacus stated before placing a hand to her chest. "I love Kira and therefore I sacrificed my position as the princess of the Kingdom so that I could be with him even if he leaves the Kingdom." She lowers her hand before pointing a finger at the three. "I would sacrifice my position, my wealth, and my very life for him. Can you three do the same? Can you leave everything behind just to be with him? Your family, friends, everything you once knew is to be left behind all for Kira?"

Angelica and the others thought about it in unison, the girls thinking hard as they knew that such a thing would happen in the future.

"family…" Angelica muttered, thinking about leaving behind her father, brother, and everyone she knows in her household.

"friends.." Clarice whispers, thinking of the idea of leaving her father and everyone who are her followers.

"everything.." Olivia thought about it as she thinks on everything that she would miss if she did follow Kira.

"if you three don't have the resolve to do so, then I can only say that you are not worthy to love Kira." Lacus stated before she lowers her hands and then turns around to begin walking away with Hachi's drone following behind. "One who truly loves another would do anything to help the person they love. Having hesitation won't speak the truth of your love at all, do understand that."

"w-wait!" Olivia cried out but Lacus stops her by turning her head to glance at her.

"think of your words very carefully, Olivia-san." Lacus stated. "even if you declare that you would do everything for Kira, you still show hesitation and therefore I won't accept your words as ones that comes from your heart."

Olivia went silent, the girl looking down with a frown as she thought about Lacus' words.

Lacus looks at the girl and the rest before she turns and takes slow steps to the entrance of the garden where she stops.

"Kira is too kind." Lacus stated as the girls look at her. "he's too kind yet he always forces himself to use his strong abilities for the sake of others. Even if it means straining himself, he always does his best to fight and protect others." She then turns her head to look at the group. "take time to think with your heart and give me your answer by the next few days. If your words are strong as your determination, I will tell you the answer that Kira will give if he learns of your love."

The girls looks at Lacus as she then leaves with Hachi following. The group stayed in the garden as the princess leaves the area and they are left by themselves.

The air was silent for a moment before it was broken when Deidre coughs once.

"I believe I can say for everyone that there is a need of time for oneself." Deidre stated before she stood up from her seat and folded her fan. "I for one think that it's best if you all take a rest for the night and then take the time to think for your answer, alright?"

Everyone looks at Deidre for a moment before they nodded in unison.

Meanwhile in the hallway, Lacus is walking with Hachi's drone accompanying her. The princess heading straight for her room where Kira is waiting for her.

"was it really wise?" Hachi asks Lacus. "giving them such a fake story about Kira's background and then contemplating with them for the idea of Kira to have a harem of all things?"

"the former was a must to be given to them in order for there to be no more suspicions while the latter was only pre-planned." Lacus replied. "I already know that they have feelings for Kira, I just needed to make sure that I could see if they really have such determination or not."

"And to do so would be to declare on how there is risks?" Hachi asks.

"There will come a day when we would be able to return to our world." Lacus stated. "if I had instantly allowed them to be with Kira, there will come a mental decision for him to decide whether or not should Angelica-san and the others be brought along with us or not." Her eyes showed a serious glint. "that is why I made point of their hesitation and made them re think of their decision very well."

"What would happen if your plan backfired?" Hachi asks with a few beeps. "what will you do if they decided to be Kira's Mistresses and concubines?"

"then I'll allow them to be with Kira as respect to their bold confessions." Lacus replied while closing her eyes. "knowing Kira, he would accept them as he is afraid of hurting their feelings if he rejects them. That is why I would allow it" She slowly opened her eyes and showed that she had gone SEED mode. "but I will make them remember one thing if it happens."

"one thing?" Hachi asks.

"if they ever tried to harm Kira in the coming future, if they tried to make him stay against his own will. I will forcibly remove them from him." Lacus replied as she squints her eyes a bit. "I will protect Kira, I won't ever let anyone hurt him ever again."

Lacus moves on first while Hachi's drone hovers behind a few feet back.

"perhaps it would've been better if you told them that such notion of a polygamy relationship is impossible to begin with." Hachi stated with a few beeps before following the princess again. "I might need to plan a contingency protocol if trouble comes from this event."

Meanwhile at Lacus' private bedroom, Kira is found sitting on the edge of the bed. The young man looking rather tired after the whole fiasco of trying to catch and possibly exterminate Marie for her sins. He let out a long sigh while slowly lying his back down on the bed.

"I will never get myself involved with that brat again." Kira said, making a promise to himself so that he would never get involved in any possible future. "all of the war, all of the trouble, everything is all her fault." He held a hand over his face and sighs a bit loudly. "I'm so tired…."

Kira laments on everything that has happened since Marie began this selfish quest of hers to be the Saint. All the conflict, destruction, and sacrifices; there was so much damage that she had done and she had the nerve to play innocent and blame it on others.

"if she ever tries to blame a problem of hers to someone else…" Kira said as he slowly pulls his hand down his face and showed his very serious eyes. "I won't forgive her!"

As Kira was thinking of the prospect on what to do in the future if Marie tries to make more trouble that would affect him and the people he care for; the door to the room was opened from the other side as Lacus came and entered.

"Lacus…" Kira sees his princess entering as he sat up on the bed and turns to look at her with a smile. "Have you finished your conversation with Angie and the others?"

"I have." Lacus nods while locking the door and then turning around to look at Kira. "it was quite an intriguing conversation."

"What did you talk about?" Kira asks while Lacus came to sit beside him.

"well…." Lacus spoke before explaining the details of their conversation; starting only with the part of the fake story that the princess gave to Angie and the others about Kira's origins.

It took about 10 minutes or so for Kira to listen to the entire story and every part of the conversation, the young man looking rather uncomfortable and awkward to the story of ORB being a nation that floats and moves upon the ocean and that he's a spy.

"I wonder if this story could get troublesome and we might have to tell them the truth when the time comes.." Kira said as he didn't like the idea of him being a spy when he was small.

"we would need to, but only when it becomes necessary.." Lacus said while nodding before she looks to the ceiling. "however, I hope that it would only come in the far future than the present."

"I guess so." Kira nodded. "was that all you've talked with them? Nothing else about the Earth Federation or ZAFT?"

"no. none of that." Lacus shook her head in response before she went silent for a moment while whispering. "but we've talked about something else instead…"

"eh? What did you talk about?" Kira asks, hearing what Lacus just whispered.

Lacus is silent for a few seconds as she stares at her lap before she looks up to the ceiling with her head tilted upwards and then she looks back down to let out a long sigh.

"after that conversation, we've talked about something else." Lacus spoke before she looks at Kira. "we've talked about having Angelica-san, Olivia-san, and Clarice-san becoming your mistresses and concubines."

"eh?" Kira blinks his eyes twice before he looks shocked. "eh!?"

"you're quite surprised, but I can understand." Lacus said before she looks to the front and thinks back to the conversation she had with the girls. "I don't actually mind if they become your mistresses and concubines, but I will still lay the ground rule with myself being your legal wife and everything." She then looks back at Kira. "what do you think, Kira? Will you have them as your concubines and mistresses?"

"t-that.." Kira spoke out a single word before he went silent as he place a hand to his face and thinks about such a notion which made him look very discomforted. "I don't like that. I mean, we're just friends and the thought of it would just be too much." He then quickly looks at Lacus while looking a bit panicked. "but I only love you, Lacus! Only you! I know that I have done bad things before I found you again, but I swear that I only love you! I love you with all my heart, Lacus!"

Lacus hears his words and could only softly smile in response.

"I know. I know you do, Kira." Lacus said as she leans close to him. "but I know that the answer you gave was only half hearted, Kira."

"eh?" Kira looks confused for a moment before he was gently pushed down on the bed by Lacus who got on top of him in a few seconds. "Lacus?"

"Kira, tell me truthfully." Lacus said as she leans her face to Kira's chest to listen to his heart. "if Angelica-san and the others confess their love for you, will you return them wholeheartedly? If they ask to be with you by becoming your mistresses and concubines, would you accept them?"

"Lacus..i…" Kira spoke out but stopped when Lacus looks up to stare back into his eyes. The young man fell silent for a moment before he began to think about her questions and the answers that he needs to give for them. "that's…"

Kira went silent for an entire five minutes, the young man thinking hard about his three friends who have love for him, he felt rather guilty as he only see them as friends but that didn't apply too much to Angelica and Olivia who he had a hot night with during the school field trip. He thinks about it hard and carefully while Lacus watches and waits for him.

"i…" Kira spoke while gently placing his arms around Lacus and holds her close. "I can't say that I want to reject them. They've done and helped me a lot during my time in and out of the academy. I trust them as good friends, but I don't have the desire to have them as my mistresses or concubines." he frowns a bit. "it isn't right."

"is that so?" Lacus asks and Kira nods before he turns themselves sideways so that both could be on the bed. "is that all that you feel for them? Do you really have no desire for them at all?"

"I'm grateful that you're accepting, but you're the one person I love with all my heart in the entire world." Kira said with a smile while gently caressing Lacus' back and then leans his head down to peck her head. "you gave me the strength I needed to fight the war, you showed me the love I needed to fend off my despair, and…" he holds his princess even closer. "you gave me the kindness I once long for. You are the only one I love in my heart, Lacus."

Lacus smiles to hear his words, the princess could sense the utter love in each sentences and could only smile happily with her eyes close while leaning closer to him.

The two stayed in their position for a moment, Kira caressing Lacus' back with his right hand while the left hand gently combs the fingers through the princess' pink locks.

'I have to tell them that I cannot accept them as my lovers or anything, I can't accept their feelings.' Kira thought while leaning his head down to gently sniff the lovely rose like smell coming from Lacus' hair. 'Lacus is the only one for me. she helped me so much back in our world and even now she has done nothing but help me and…' he soon opens his eyes when the thought about Angelica and the others came into his mind, the young man thinking back to all the times that the girls would help him and how they showed their selfless desires to help him even when he didn't need to. 'i…'

"it's okay to accept their love, Kira." Lacus spoke out as Kira looks down to the princess who stares back at him. "I know that you have hesitation in your heart now, I understand that you feel guilty to reject them. It's alright, you can accept their love. You don't need my permission."

"but, Lacus…i…" Kira spoke before Lacus gently shushes him with a finger to his lips.

"I know, and I understand." Lacus said while smiling. "it's alright if they be with you, it's alright for me and for you."

"is that…really okay?" Kira asks. "I mean, this might be troublesome for us in the future and…"

"it might be troublesome, but I know that we can find a way to solve it." Lacus said after giggling. "we always do, right?"

Kira looks at Lacus for a moment before he sighs with a smile and nodded.

"alright. I understand." Kira said. "let me give them my reply to them directly in two days."

"okay." Lacus nods before both hugs each other close. They stayed in the silence for a moment before the princess spoke out. "but, if there's any problem. It would be one thing."

"what is it?" Kira asks before both separated from the hug and Lacus got Kira to lie on his back with herself on top of him. "Lacus?"

"you need to remember who is your legal and only wife, right?" Lacus said with a smile before she leans down and takes Kira's lips for a deep kiss.

Kira gets a bit surprised from the kiss but he reincorporate it, the young man circling his arms around Lacus' waist and held her very close.

Moans escapes from Lacus who tilts her face sideways to deepen their kiss. Their tongue dance together in the connection as they tasted each other.

A minute into five minutes, both kissed till they separated for the need of air.

Kira sat up with Lacus on top of his lap and facing him, the young man a bit out of breath from the kiss.

"Lacus, can we…?" Kira asks but Lacus just takes his right hand with both of her hands and place it to the center of her chest.

"you never needed to ask, Kira." Lacus replied with a smile before she reaches to her back and slowly pull down the zipper of her dress which had the top part falls to reveal her nearly see through pinkish white brassiere. "I am yours and only yours."

Hearing her reply, Kira instantly goes down wild as his heart beat rises and began to pound loudly. The young man instantly coming in close to begin kissing her again. His hands goes around her back and Lacus' hands went around his neck to pull him closer.

Both moaned in their deep and very passionate kiss, Kira leans himself down with Lacus on top. The young man doing this to get an easier access to her dress' zipper which he pulls down to the end. This allows him to pull down the entire part of her dress that his princess discarded by kicking it off her legs and let it fall to the floor. Her desire is only for her man and didn't care if the dress was expensive or not.

Now left only in her nearly see through pinkish white lingerie underwear and pinkish knee high socks. Lacus devours Kira's lips in their kiss that is becoming very wet.

A minute later, they separated just enough for them to be in a very close proximity to one another.

"Should we be more quiet? If we do it too loudly.." Kira whispers and Lacus just smiles in response.

"I've had Hachi's help for that." Lacus replied as Hachi's drone was hovering outside of the room where there were a bunch of devices that are noise cancellers that prevents any noise from coming outside. The princess smiling down to Kira before she slowly sits up and then proceeded to undo her brassiere that she drops to the floor in order to reveal her rather plump and bountiful breasts for her lover. She leans down and presses them on her man's chest. "we have each other for the entire night, Kira."

"I see." Kira smiles before he takes Lacus' lips back for another deep and passionate kiss that lasted only for a minute. The young man then gets to sit himself up with the pink diva on his lap, he proceeded to undo his attire and takes if off to expose his quite well built form for her. "then I should be in the same condition as you are, right?"

Lacus replied with a giggle before kissing him again.

After a minute while locked in their kiss, Kira and Lacus stripped each other of their remaining clothing till they are only left with their underwear on. The princess having her signature hair clip off and placed to a table beside the bed.

"let me start first, okay?"
