Last time on Dragon Ball Z, Goku had given his adieu to the galactic emperor, Frieza, after deciding he was no longer a threat to the universe. Only to be cowardly attacked by the tyrant. Yet the cowardly blast did nothing to the Super Saiyan, as he easily blew the blast back in Frieza's face. Now, Goku has to find his way off of Namek to get back to Earth… or will he? Find out now!
"Damn it!" The Saiyan grunts as he slams his fist on the control deck of Frieza's ship.
The ship was already set on a destination and all the Super Saiyan could do was watch on in anxiety as the battleship started to float and hover, then shoot up immediately into the deep depths of space. Goku then looked through a nearby window as he watched the once beautiful, Planet Namek, start to combust. The flames from the planet's core rose up to hit the ship, as one such explosion made direct contact with the ship. Sending it out of the path that it had originally sent out on.
Black, that was all our hero could see, as the power of the ship went out and the only possible light from was the dark expanses of space. It took a second but the backup generator came back on. The red lights that flashed came on next.
"Emergency, Black Hole ahead." Repeated over and over, as the Saiyan looked on in shock, as he then ran to scour the ship for any space pods that the Frieza Force should have had on the ship, yet to his luck, there was none.
"King Kai!" He called out to his friend and mentor, to try and talk to the catfish like god from Otherworld.
"I've been watching Goku, this isn't a good situation you find yourself in." The Kai stated as he communicated with his pupil. "Luckily for you, that isn't a regular black hole, we in the Otherworld like to call those cross dimensional black holes. It won't kill you, but it will transport you to another dimension. So we'll be able to stay in contact." The Kai further clarified.
"Then how am I supposed to get home… Chichi will kill me." Goku meekly meeped as he thought about the fury of his wife. "And what about Gohan… I don't want my son to grow up without his father." The legendary warrior sighed as he accepted his fate.
"I am sorry Goku, I can try to pull some strings to get you back to our regular dimension. But the higher ups don't like to deal with dimensional travel. But don't fret, I'll be able to keep you updated on the occurrences going down on Earth." The Kai sighed as he watched his star pupil enter the portal.
Slowly as the entire ship fell into the portal, the warrior of legend watched on in anticipation, ready to fight any threat on his way to get back home.
"I'll make it back home guys. I promise." The Saiyan said, making a promise that he could never keep, as then purple light enveloped the spaceship.
It was a light show, as purple, black, and white light danced around the spaceship making the journey a beautiful one as then Goku finally looked over to see an end to the blackhole. He was then spat back out into space, to see a planet that looked strangely alot like Earth.
"Wow." Were the only words that came out of the Saiyan from Earth as he looked over to view the unknown planet, the Frieza Force ship continued its course as it then started to descend upon the nearby planet, by crash landing.
As the ship raced down through the planet, the Super Saiyan of legend held onto anything that would keep him from falling into something since he was so down on energy due to his fight with Frieza.
"BOOOOMMMM!" The ship proceeded to crash in the middle of a huge lake, next to what seemed like a giant squid like ship.
"I love squid." Goku drowsily chuckled as his eyes soon fluttered and closed.
/-/
"Check out the crash!" A deep womanly voice shouted at a group of goblins, as she surveyed the crash site, "We don't know if there is a true soul in here, or something else. The crashed nautiloid is still here, yet it doesn't look like any of their work." The drow comments as she viewed all of the technical marvels of the Frieza Force ship.
"L…Lady Minthara, we've found one!" A goblin stutters, dragging the body of a spiky haired male to her feet.
"What shall we do with the body, mistress?" The same goblin asks, as the rest of Minthara's goblin squadron looked on in anticipation.
"Hmm… he looks quite capable." She muses to herself as she grabs the humanoid man's cheeks, surveying his handsome face. "Is there anything else?" She asks the goblins as she turns to view her helpless goons fiddle around with the technology. "Huh… I've never seen such magic." She muses as she holds up a scouter that a goblin gave to her.
"I'll have to ask the man when he wakes. Goblins, bring him back to the camp. Leave a squad here, we don't want anyone finding out about what is in this ship." She commanded as she had a few of the goblins pick up the Saiyan. She then notices something strange, a brown monkey-like tail sprouting from his behind.
"How peculiar… humans don't have tails. Much to my knowledge anyways." She mused as she looked at the Saiyan while they marched back to the Goblin camp.
The way back to her camp was relatively inconsequential, she only had to deal with the goblins never stopping bickering amongst each other. She had found it most unassuming when General Thorm had assigned her this task to get rid of the druid camp and her troops were these stupid goblins who were good for nothing but getting on her nerves and being good lap dogs to fetch her drink when the occasion occurred.
"You confuse me human." She murmured to herself as they grew closer to the camp, she tried peaking into the man's mind, only to find a mental block. Those were only on heavily trained monks or warlocks, he definitely was not a warlock, yet he may have been a monk. But she could not tell since the condition of his clothes were in such terrible condition. Not to mention the monkey tail that sprawled out, every once in a while hitting a goblin, which amused the drow.
His spiky black hair was unlike anything she had ever seen on a human, it was unnatural how it just stuck in one place, she'd have to ask him about his physiology when he awoke, alongside the million other questions that were currently running through her mind. Such as why he was in that ship, what was that ship, what else was in that ship, where did he come from, and why was the man in such horrid shape physically? He looked as if he had just been in the battle of his life and she is curious to see if that affected his mentality once he awoke.
Minthara hadn't been paying much attention as she was walking, as she soon looked up to see the goblin camp in front of her, as she walked with the goblins in her command to visit the dungeons and drop off the man in the cell next to that druid that she had captured recently.
"Drop him in that cell, be careful as to not drop him, you useless pawn." She berated the goblin with an angry growl as they softly laid him on some hay that was already in the cell as the drow then dismissed the three goblins. Now it was time to wait.
/-/
"W…where am I? Goku groaned as he opened his eyes to see that he was laying on some hay in some type of cell. "This looks like that cave that Bulma and I fought General Blue in." He chuckled at the memory of his youth. As the Saiyan of legend looked up to see a purple woman staring deeply at him, surveying him like he was a test subject.
"Umm… hi." He waved towards the drow. The Saiyan wanted to be polite to what he assumed was his savior.
"Who are you, human?" She asked simply, looking down at him as if she was his better.
"Well my name is Goku, and I'm a Saiyan from Earth." He said to her, trying to see if she knew what that was.
"What the hell is a Saiyan? Or Earth for that matter?" Minthara asked the Saiyan of legend as she stood up to look at him over what seemed like the thousandth time for her. "Does being a Saiyan have something to do with that monkey-like tail that you have?" She asked him, her eyes narrowing as she looked up and down the Saiyans body.
"T…Tail?" He asks, looking down at his waist. "Oh man! I got my tail back." Goku says with joy as the drow's eyes widen with shock as she sees the tail come to life. "I had it chopped off when I was a kid, but for some reason it grew back. I'm not complaining though." He chuckles.
"But I gotta ask… does this planet have a moon?" He asked the drow.
"Of course we do! Why do you ask such an incredulous question? She asked the Saiyan with a bewildered look, her left eye twitching.
"Well uhh… no reason." The Saiyan softly chuckled, not wanting to reveal the giant Oozaru transformation that had killed his grandfather when he was a young boy. "But where am I? What planet am I on?" Goku decides to change the subject.
"You are quite the strange creature, Goku of Earth. But we are on Faerun, specifically near Baldur's Gate." The drow says to the Saiyan warrior. "I wasn't aware of the possibility of space travel, so why choose our planet?" She asks him.
"Well.. I didn't exactly choose to come here, I was flying back home after I had just fought an enemy that had threatened my friends. And then I made my way to his ship, then the ship got hit by a stray blast and well… now I'm here." The Saiyan chuckles.
"What was your enemy's name?" The drow asks out of curiosity.
"Frieza." Goku narrowed his eyes at the thought of the tyrant who had killed Krillin, his best friend.
"Now that is a stupid name." The drow exclaims as she puts a hand on her face.
