Chapter 1: An Era Of Fear

It was a day of absolute fear for the galaxy. The Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic, Sheev Palpatine, has revealed himself to be the Emperor of the Sith, Darth Sidious. As a result, the Galactic Republic has been converted into the Galactic Empire, and the chosen one, Anakin Skywalker, has been turned to the Dark Side of the Force as Palpatine's apprentice. Not only that, but Clone Troopers have been brainwashed into turning against their Jedi Generals. With the Jedi all but extinct, the galaxy has been enveloped in an era of fear.

Location: Koboh

It shows some people on Koboh at a local cantina, where two thugs were bullying a Lothalite man. One of the thugs was a Rodian, while the other was a Quarren. The Human male was Baidas Elid, whereas the Rodian thug was Vrunst Yiju, and the Quarren thug was Bir Pram.

"(Y'see, Baidas, there's a caste-system here, even without the Jedi here to save you.)" said Vrunst in Huttese. "(There's people with power, and people who are beneath us.)"

"Please….I'll try to work to pay off the debt I owe you! J-just don't hurt me!" Baidas whimpered, scared for his safety.

"(You'd better have the credits. Or else, you're going to have a rather unfortunate accident.)" said Vrunst, threatening to make it look as if the Human from Lothal had gotten in a horrible accident that put him out of commission for good. Suddenly, a humanoid male who wore lime-green Mandalorian armor with dark-green trim arrived.

"(Well now. Looks like things just got a lot more interesting.)" said Bir, as he looked to be smirking.

"(A Mandalorian. Hardly any of those guys around, after the Empire laid siege to their planet.)" said Vrunst. He then looked at the man. "(Hey, Mando! You picked the wrong time to come here.)"

"(We're gonna make sure that this Lothalite piss-ant NEVER forgets us!)" Bir said, as he took out his vibroknife, and slowly started to carve his name on Baidas' stomach, until the Mandalorian shot the weapon out of Bir's hand.

"(SHIT!)" Bir yowled in Huttese. "(KILL THAT BASTARD!).

Vrunst swung at the Mandalorian man, only to have his wrist grabbed.

"(Please don't break my arm.)" Vrunst whimpered, terrified.

"No." said the Mandalorian, sounding like Kurtis Stryker, as he then crushed Vrunst's arm in-between his knee and elbow, breaking the limb in two separate areas. He then took out a WESTAR-35 heavy blaster-pistol, and pistol-whipped Vrunst on the head hard enough to crack his skull, and shot him through the stomach and out his back, severing his spinal-cord and crippling his legs. Bir's eyes widened, and he then charged at the Mandalorian man, who dodged his punches. The Mandalorian man then shot Bir in the shoulder with his dual WESTAR-35 blaster-pistols.

"(Y-You're a monster! GET AWAY FROM ME! LEAVE ME ALONE!)" Bir shrieked in Huttese, as he made a run for it, only for the Mandalorian to whip out a Galar-90 sniper-rifle, and snipe him from a distance. It was a headshot.

"Bulls-eye." said the Mandalorian.

"Bless you, Mando! I thought those guys were gonna hurt me and my family!" said Baidas, with a smile on his face.

"I'm just lookin' out for the little-guy." said the Mandalorian. The Mandalorian was known as Shane Vancel, a Siege of Mandalore survivor.

Later, it shows Shane returning to his ship, the Emerald Mythosaur. The ship in question was a merger between a Mandalorian ST-70 Razor Crest Assault Ship and a SS-54 Assault Ship. Shane parked his Joben T-85 Speeder Bike inside of his ship, and walked towards his bed. He then removed his helmet, revealing that he had a youthful, clean-shaven face, auburn hair, and apple-green eyes. He had a scar on the bridge of his nose. He then laid down to rest.

Flashback, During the Siege Of Mandalore

It shows several different Mandalorians fighting Imperial forces to try and keep their planet safe.

"There's too many of them!" said a Mandalorian heavy gunner.

"We need to keep the planet safe at ALL costs!" said a Mandalorian male in emerald-green armor. This was Tarval Vancel, Shane's father. With him was Kento Vizsla, armed with a Darksaber that he built himself.

"PROTECT THE NURSERY!" said a Mandalorian soldier, as a female Mandalorian in green-colored armor was escorting Mandalorian children to safety.

"We need to move, now!" said the woman. This was Tarval's wife, Kessalla.

"Mom? Where's Dad?" said a young Shane.

"He's helping your godfather in the front-lines," said Kessalla.

"Blast them!" said a Stormtrooper, aiming his blaster at the Mandalorian children. Kessalla grabbed her blaster pistol, and shot at them, but was fatally shot in the stomach.

"KESSALLA!" gasped Laira Vizsla, who was the mother of Shane's best friend, Tarran.

"MOMMY!" Shane gasped, horrified to see that his mother got hurt.

"Shane….I need you to be brave for Mommy…you need to run. Now!" said Kessalla. With that, Kessalla passed away from her injury, and Shane teared up and ran to find his father.

Elsewhere, Tarvall was busy fighting Imperial forces, until they heard a mechanical breathing. Tarval got out his main weapon: a cross-guard lightsaber from a fallen Jedi Knight who he fought alongside during the Clone Wars. Darth Vader arrived, and ignited his red-colored lightsaber.

"You'd be wise to surrender," said Vader.

"Anakin, please…I know there's still good in you. I know that there's still a Jedi Knight who still has compassion." said Tarval, as he ignited his weapon, revealing lime-green blades.

"Not everyone still has good in their souls." said Vader, as he fought Tarval and Kento in a two-on-one duel, and it appeared that Tarval was gaining the other hand until in one violent strike, Vader sliced his hand off. Tarval screamed in pain, and Vader had him in a Force Choke.

"Anakin…please…don't do this…!" said Tarval, strained.

"Anakin Skywalker is long gone. I am all that remains of him now." said Vader. He then noticed Shane hiding. "Ah. A son. He'll learn what it is truly like to grow up without a family."

"SHANE! RUN!" Tarval screamed, until Vader then twisted his hand, snapping Tarval's neck

"DADDY!" Shane screamed. The young man then broke down sobbing.

"SHANE, GET OUT OF HERE!" said Kento to his godson/surrogate nephew. "I'll handle him!" Shane then got to his feet and ran to his father's ship.

Flashback Over.

Shane got up, and he heard a commotion going on. He looked to see a Togruta woman sniping Imperial soldiers with an A-280 CFE Reconfigurable Blaster, which she had reconfigured into a sniper-rifle. The Togruta woman had indigo-blue skin with white facial-markings, emerald-green eyes, silver lips, white montrals with blue markings, and four lekku on the back of her head. She was dressed similar to Hera Syndulla crossed with a smuggler. She was picking off Imperial soldiers one-by-one with her weapon.

"All head-shots, huh?" said Shane, as he walked up to the Togruta woman.

"Ya can't always expect those Imps to have a heart, Mando." said the Togruta woman, sounding like Verosika Mayday mixed with Velvet Crowe.

"I'm Shane. Shane Vancel." said Shane, as he introduced himself. "I'm something of a vigilante here on Koboh."

"My name is Mora Han. I'm something of a freedom-fighter." said the Togruta woman, introducing herself. Shane looked to see Mora's companion, a big, muscular Clone Commando Commander in gray Clone Commando Commander armor with green markings. He had a DC-17M Interchangeable Weapons System that he reconfigured into a sniper-rifle.

"Friend of yours?" Shane asked, curious.

"Yes." said Mora. "This is CT-4709, AKA Commander Keaton. He's a genetically-modified super soldier Clone Commando who defied Order 66."

"Hello there." said Keaton, saluting.

"We're here to break two people out of prison." said Mora, revealing hers and Keaton's mission. "A Wookiee Partisan soldier, and a Zabrak Partisan soldier who is also a Jedi Purge survivor."

"Need a hand?" Shane offered, curious.

"The more, the merrier." said Keaton.

Later, it showed Shane with Mora and Keaton infiltrating an Imperial prison-cell in Koboh, where they looked to see the two prisoners in question. One was a Wookiee male who had solid-black fur and golden-yellow eyes and a bandolier around his torso, and the other prisoner was a Zabrak who had auburn hair, light-tan skin with light facial tattoos, vestigial horns on his forehead, and apple-green eyes, wearing burgundy red and tan Jedi attire.

(Author's Note: Zhanu's attire is a merger between the Vine-Silk Aegis from Star Wars: The Old Republic and both the Jedi Temple Exploration and Jedi Ascension costumes from Star Wars: The Old Republic.)

"You must be the people who Mora and Keaton are here to rescue." said Shane.

"Yeah. My name is Zhanu Kararr." said the Zabrak, sounding like Haruo Sakaki. "The Wookiee with me is Gonghan."

Shane managed to shoot something on the cell, causing the laser walls to vanish. Zhanu grabbed two lightsaber hilts and holstered them on his belt, whereas Gonghan grabbed a bowcaster, a Kashyyyk long-gun, and dual ryyk blades.

"Time to crack some skulls." said Keaton, as he cracked his knuckles. Due to his genetic enhancements, Keaton had Hunter's incredible reflexes, Wrecker's incredible strength, and Crosshair's incredible accuracy.

"They've been released! BLAST THEM!" said a Stormtrooper, as he took aim with his E-11 Blaster Rifle. Zhanu ignited his lightsabers, revealing that they had yellow-colored blades. The Stormtroopers fired at the group, only for Zhanu to deflect the blasts with his lightsabers, and slash the Stormtroopers with his weapons. Keaton had his DC-17M modified into a blaster-rifle, and shot at the Stormtroopers, Mora had her A-280 CFE blaster reconfigured into a sniper-rifle, and Shane had his GALAAR-15 Blaster Carbine out, and he shot at them. Gonghan shot at the Stormtroopers with his bowcaster, and they managed to take down several of the Stormtroopers. Gonghan then roared, and yanked a Stormtrooper's arms off with his bare hands, before shooting him with a point-blank shot from his Kashyyyk long-gun.

"Let's roll!" said Shane, as he, Mora, Keaton, Zhanu, and Gonghan made a run for it. They suddenly saw a Purge-Trooper armed with an electrostaff.

"I've been wanting to kill a Jedi and a Mandalorian. Life Day's come extra early for me today!" said the Purge-Trooper, with a look of sadistic glee on his face. Zhanu combined his lightsabers into a double-bladed lightsaber, and fought the Purge-Trooper in a duel, blocking and countering the trooper's strikes with his weapon, before he split the electrostaff in half with a slash.

"We won't let the Empire win." said Shane, as he aimed one of his dual WESTAR-35 heavy blaster-pistols at the Purge-Trooper's head. "Any last words, bucket-head?"

"You worthless nobodies have forfeit your lives, crossing the Empire!" said the Purge-Trooper, scowling underneath his helmet. "No matter where you go, we will always be there to hunt you down!"

"Not likely." said Shane, as he then shot the Purge-Trooper in the head. He then contacted someone. "IG-95, warm up the ship. I've got some new allies with me."

"At once, Master Vancel." said a voice belonging to IG-95, who was an IG-Series Assassin Droid.

"What do we do now?" Zhanu asked, curious.

"Now…we work to save the galaxy from the Empire, one planet at a time." said Shane. The Emerald Mythosaur arrived, and Shane boarded the craft with Mora, Keaton, Gonghan and Zhanu, and the ship took off.

Meanwhile, we cut to the Fortress Inquisitorious on Nur, the oceanic moon of the planet Mustafar, where we see the Grand Inquisitor speaking to Darth Vader via holo-communication.

"These insurgents are causing the Empire nothing but trouble." said the Grand Inquisitor, with a scowl on his face. "Which is why I have some new Inquisitors with me." with that, a new group of Imperial Inquisitors arrived.

The first male Imperial Inquisitor was a Nautolan, the same species as the Jedi Master, Kit Fisto, and the bounty hunter, Caij Vanda. He had crimson-red colored skin with black markings on his head and lekku, which were the dozens of tendrils he had on his head. He had pitch-black eyes, and was dressed similar to Cal Kestis if he had been forced to join the Inquisitorious. He wore a mask similar to Chopper's bio-helmet from Aliens VS PREDATOR, but completely black with a red visor and the Galactic Roundel for the Galactic Empire on the forehead. This was Zisa Stam, AKA The 13th Brother.

The second Imperial Inquisitor was a Kaleesh, the same species as General Grievous, but he was fully organic. He was dressed similar to the Fifth Brother, and he wore a Kaleesh mask made of durasteel. This was Val Shaessh, AKA The 14th Brother.

The third Inquisitor and sole female was a Dathomirian. She had white skin with pale facial tattoos, and icy blue eyes, and had white hair. She was dressed similarly to the late Second Sister, Trilla Suduri. This was Hosh Kizrut, the 15th Sister.

The fourth Imperial Inquisitor was a Trandoshan, the same race as Bossk and Pekt. He had jade-green skin with golden-orange colored eyes, and his facial appearance was similar to that of Pekt. He wore attire similar to the Eighth Brother, but modified. This was Aggek Klannel, the 16th Brother.

The fifth Imperial Inquisitor was a Rattataki male. He had white skin, was bald, and had dark cyan eyes, and was dressed in a hybridization of Inquisitor Cal and the Grand Inquisitor. This was Karr Andat, the 16th Brother.

The sixth and final Inquisitor was a Dowutin with auburn skin, dressed like a gender-bent version of Masana Tide, the Ninth Sister. This was Zebkar Wudark, the 17th Brother.

"I also have someone who will aid you." said Vader, as a humanoid male figure with a lean build wearing attire similar to Darth Jadus with Aloysius Kallig's mask that had a double-bladed lightsaber holstered on his person. "Meet my new apprentice and personal assassin: Zoma Kallig."

(Author's Note: Zoma's attire is a Clone Wars variant of Darth Jadus' attire from Star Wars: The Old Republic, but he has his ancestor, Aloysius Kallig's mask, and he wears a black cloak with a crimson-red interior over his attire.)

"I live to serve, my master." said Zoma, sounding like Alucard from Hellsing.

"I also have someone who thinks like a Mandalorian." said Vader, as another figure arrived. He wore burgundy red and reddish-brown armor. "This is the galaxy's deadliest assassin: Jerrek Fessth."

(Author's Note: Jerrek's Armor is a merger between Din Djarin's Mandalorian Armor from Star Wars: The Mandalorian, Aran Tal's armor from Star Wars: The Hunters, and the Infamous Bounty Hunter armor set from Star Wars: The Mandalorian.)

"I always get my kill." said Jerrek, smirking under his helmet.

"Those insurgents will learn why it is unwise to cross the Empire." said the Grand Inquisitor, smirking.
