Dex Hamilton and his crew are in the habitat, feeding the bugs. Lola feeds the other ones with her harvestable plants and fruits. Dex goes outside to get some fresh air.

"It feels so beautiful and warm out here," said Dex. As he was feeling the cool, slight wind in the great weather, he spotted a very glowing green-eyed black cat staring at him. "Oh, hello there, kitty, where's your owner? What are you doing here all alone?" said Dex, talking to the green-eyed cat. The cat meowed in response.

"Aww, come here. I can give you some cat food if you want, it's OK. Here, kitty kitty," said Dex, slowly approaching the cat. "Uhh, Dex, I wouldn't go to the cat if I were you," said Jenny 10 as she came outside, along with Tung, and warned Dex. "It's OK, Jenny, the cat is lost and it would never hurt anybody, wouldn't it?" said Dex. "Dex, don't get too close to it," said Tung, warning him. The cat hissed at Dex before it meowed loudly, its claws scratched Dex's arm hard, leaving the scratch marks starting to bleed slowly. The cat ran off. "Ouch!" shouted Dex, in a painful response. "Dex, are you OK?" Said Jenny as she and Tung comforted him.

"I'm OK, he scratched me," said Dex. "Come on, let's head back inside," said Jenny. "Yeah," said Tung. "What's going on?" said Zap as he came outside with Lola, figuring out what happened. "It's just that I got scratched by a cat, guys. I'll be alright," said Dex. As everyone got inside, Dex washed the scratch wounds off so that he wouldn't get infected. He rubbed alcohol on the wound and then put healing ointment on the cat scratch marks before bandaging his arm. "That should do it," said Dex. Dex started to feel a little strain in his head.

Inside his body, the glowing cat's organisms entered the bloodstream. Invading Dex's blood cells, changing them into the were-cat-like blood cells and all the cat's blood cells. The organisms also enter his brain to invade and change his brain and vision, which can lead to changing his human vision into a cat's vision. Dex is still human, but slowly starts to develop cat-like abilities until under the full moon.

In the evening before dark, after dinner… Dex is in the study room, reading a book. He sees Zap coming to get a cup of ice-cold water. "Hey, Zap," said Dex. "Hey, Dex, how are you feeling during the day?" said Zap. "I still feel alright, but I'm getting a little strain of a headache a few moments after the cat scratched me. I need to learn how to tame animals more while being an entomologist," said Dex. "Are you sure about that?" said Zap. "Yeah," said Dex. "Oh… I just came to give you some water if you want some," said Zap. "Thanks, Zap, I appreciate it," said Dex. "No problem," said Zap, nodding as he winked before he prepared to leave. Dex started to meow for the first time due to the cat scratch mark that was given to him, unintentionally and unknowingly. "Do you say something?" said Zap. "Oh, oh no. I didn't, I was just reading a book," said Dex. "Oh… OK," said Zap before he left.

"That was weird," whispered Dex, talking to himself in a confused expression. He puts a bookmark into the page of the book to stop reading, he stands up from the desk. He sees the moon shining in the night sky, he begins to start sweating and feeling the slow pain emerging in him. Dex groans, he runs to the bathroom and then looks at himself in the bathroom mirror. He turns on the sink and immediately washes his sweaty face with cold water. Breathing heavily and moaning in pain, he saw his reflection in the mirror again and discovered that his reddish-brown eyes changed into the glowing eyes of the cat. "Oh no! What's happening to me?!" moaned Dex, in pain. Dex's teeth painfully shifted into the cat's fangs, and the little bit of saliva dropped due to it. His human skin turned into were-cat fur with the same color as his hair, the clothes tearing apart.

"What's going on here?" asked Jenny as she came by to see what was going on with Dex, she saw the painful transformation in Dex with a frightened look on her face. "Dex?" said Jenny, worried and scared. Dex turned his head to see Jenny, frightening her even more. She screamed out loud like the woman from the 1960s and ran off.

"Jenny, what's wrong?!" said Zap, concerned and startled. "Something's wrong with Dex! He's in the bathroom!" said Jenny, scared. "Stay right there," said Zap as he went to see Dex in the bathroom. "No, don't go in the bathroom!" said Jenny, warning Zap. "Jenny, what's going on?" Said Lola as she and Tung walked into the hallway, coming to Jenny. "It's Dex, something's changing him," said Jenny. "What?" asked Tung.

Zap comes to see Dex who is fully transformed into the scariest were-cat, he is also frightened to see him in the werecat form. "Dex? Are you OK?" said Zap, scared and concerned. Dex growled and hissed at Zap, turning himself around to look at him. "Oh sh-!" said Zap, shocked with fear. Zap runs away, the were-cat Dex chased after him which startled Jenny, Lola, and Tung. "Holy Cow! What is that?!" shouted Tung. "That's Dex, he got turned into some kind of werewolf cat! I feel like I'm gonna…" said Jenny before she passed out, out of fear. "Jenny!" said Lola, holding Jenny who passed out. "Tung, go get Zap. I'll take Jenny to the emergency room and give her a wet, cold rag to cool her down before she wakes up, I'll be right there," said Lola. "On it," said Tung.

Tung goes after Zap and Dex, while Lola takes Jenny to the emergency room.
