Guys this is a site for writers to write about their favorite rangers. No one should feel like i have been feeling about coming back. I feel like i have lost my spirit. So i need to try and come back. I know my writing is not perfect but i am trying.

This story wiill not have my OC with a ninja background like i normally do i will do it a different way. Yes i love to add the Mitchell family to her life as my own touch.

Summary: Harley Oliver was the new kid in Reefside. No one knew who she was at first until her brother gets taken by Mesogog and Hayley calls her for help. Revelations will be revealed aqs she makes her ranger journey a one to remember.

A man waited patiently as he paced his front porch. That man was Tommy Oliver. Tommy was waiting for his 17 year old sister to arrive from Angel Grove. Harley Oliver was the spitting image of her brother with the same dark brown hair, brown eyes. She was shorter. Harley and Tommy were the closest siblings around when they moved to Angel Grove.

Tommy stopped pacing when a blue jeep pulled up. "Finally" He whispered as he ran towards the car. "Come here you!" He exclaimed as she ran into his arms. "its so good to see you".

"You to" Harley whispered. "When Carter told me they found you stranded after the island exploded i thought you were gone".

Tommy could feel his sister shaking as he held her. "Hey its okay. I'm here" He assured her as he pulled away. "Come on lets get you settled".

Tommy led his sister inside. Harley took her jacket off and laid it on the chair. "Nice place"

'Thanks, listen there is something i need to tell you" He spoke carefully. "Harley i know you despised my ranger past but could you come with me?"

She nodded and followed her brother down a flight of steps. She looked in awe as he turned on the lights lighting up the lab. "W-What is this?".

Tommy looked down as she walked around slowly. "Harley the reason the island exploded is because i found something. I found these" He walked over to the pedastal. "Dino gems"

One red, blue, and yellow.

"Tommy i didn't despise your ranger past,i despised the fear i had evetrytime you went into a fight. Is this why the island exploded?"

"Yes, Mesogog attacked" He answered her. "I didn't want to hide this from you. I also found this one" He went to the desk and pulled out a box. He opened it revealing a green dino gem. "I found this a week ago next to where the Command Center stood. "

Harley come to stand in front of him. "What does this have to do with me? Tommy what are these?"

Tommy sighed as this was the last thing he wanted to involve her in but ha had no choice in case these gems bonded with people. "Harley the dino gems bond to people who can hold their power and then make them rangers."

She stepped back shaking her head. "No, you promised when you gave your powers to TJ you would stop this crusade!".

Tommy knew she was right. "I know i did but i am asking if these choose their hosts that you would be here with me to help them when the time comes"

"You know i will" She told him with a grin.

Tommy kissed her cheek. "We can talk more about it later, do you want to go explore? there is a huge mall"

"Do you need to even ask lets go!" She yelled with a smile. Tommy knew how much she loved to shop.

Once Tommy parked in the parking lot his sister was out of the jeep in seconds. He shook his head knowing he would regret bringing her to the mall.

"Tommy?" He turned when he heard his name.

"Dana?" hey" He greeted with a smile and a small hug. "What are you doing here?"

Dana smiled. "My Dad had surgery here." Dana gesrtured for him to follow her to the food court inside.

"Is he okay?" Tommy asked her softly.

"He is now, he had a heart attack two weeks ago and discovered he has a blood clot behind his heart so they sent him to the surgeon here to operate" Dana explained.

"I can get Harley if you like?"

"What? she's here?"

Tommy narrowed his eyes in confusion. "Yeah she came this morning. Dana is everything alright?". He felt something was off.

"Tommy we haven't spoken to her in two weeks."

Tommy felt his body tense at her words. It wasn't like his sister to avoid the Mitchells Tommy made sure sister wasn't around. "Dana what's going on?"

"I wish I knew. She ghosted us. We told her what was wrong after my Dad had his heart attack after that we lost contact. Tommy she won't return our calls. She was staying with us that weekend and when we went home she was gone. Her stuff was packed up, the only thing she left was the stuffed animal Ryan got her".

Tommy leaned back in the chair. "That's not like her"

"I know. I wanted to ask her something as well" Dana spoke wiping her eyes. "I wanted to ask her to be the Godmother. I'm pregnant"

"Wow that's great. Dana let me ask you something because i might know why she's avoiding you. I know how close Harley is with all of you but after you met her four years ago did she ever tell you what happened to our parents?"

Dana shook her head. "No"

Tommy finally understood. "Dana, i think she is ghosting you guys because after she helped Ryan come back to your family and when you guys welcomed her into yours she is afraid of losing your Dad. A week after you met her we lost our parents in a car crash. When your Dad had his heart attack and had to have major surgery she was scared she was going to lose him"

"We diidn't know that" Dana whispered.

"Dana Will has been the next closest father figure Harley has had since we lost our parents." Tommy told her as he watched Harley sit down across the food court. "If you want i can try an talk to her"

Dana nodded. "Thanks, i better get back to the hospital. Dad has to stay here for a week. Please Tommy try and get her to come around"

"I will". Tommy replied as Dana stood up. Tommy watched as his sister sat down across from him with shopping bags. "Have fun?"

She nodded as he followed her out to the jeep. She got in and buckled her seatbelt. "Why are you staring at me like that?" She asked her brother who was looking at her with worry. "What?"

Tommy sighed. "We need to talk but it can wait until we get home".

After the short drive home Harley kicked off her boots and began to walk to her room but she froze when her brother spoke.

"He's alright you know".

She turned around, "What?"

"Will, he's alright" Tommy tried to guage her reaction. "Dana told me you have been ignroing her".

"You have no idea what your talking about" She hissed. "Stay out of my business".

"You are my business!. Harley talk to me what happened?" Tommy tried.

"I thought Dana told you" She fired back.

"Harley Isabella Oliver"

"Tommy what do you want from me?" She gave in as he used her fool name and when he did it meant business.

"I want you to tell me what happened."

"Let me go shower and change please?" She asked of him and he agreed. Once she showered she put on sweats and joined her brother on the couch. 'Dana is right i was avoidiing her. All of them. I know you know why and your right it has to do with Mom and Dad but there's more to it."

Two Weeks Ago...Mariner Bay...

Harley Oliver walked back down the hallway of the hospital awaiting news if William Mitchell would be alright. She got back to his room but when she did she heard arguing.

"Dad you need this surgery please" Dana begged her Father who was denying treatment. "Stop being stubborn"

"Dana the doctor said that with medication it will resolve on its own!"

"Dad!" Ryan barked. "Its not a cure. This could kill you!"

The older man huffed. "Fine since its two against one i will but Harley is never to know."

"But Dad she is here". Ryan argued.

"No Ryan he is right for now this is a family affair" Dana let slip before regretting her words. She turned as she heard a gasp. "Harley.."

Harley Oliver had heard every word. She went and laid the cups of coffee on the stand. "Uh, Um i'm just going to go." Her eyes forming tears.

"Harley wait!" Dana yelled as she ran out of the room. "Harley!" Dana chased her but the younger girl was faster.

Present Day...

"I went back to the house, packed my stuff and left. Yes i was scared i would lose him but to them it was a family affair. I am not their family, i am not blood so i respected their wishes and went back to Angel Grove" She finished.

"Harley why didn't you tell them about Mom and Dad?"

"Because i never expected them to care for me so much. I thought that after i helped Ryan i would never see them again."

"Harley go visit him. He had his surgery here and has to stay for a week. Enjoy the weekend with them since you start school Monday."

"No" She stated as she stomped down the hall slamming her door.

Tommy sighed in frustration. His sister was the most stubborn person he knew. He decided to give her some space.

Reefside General Hospital...

"Here you go" Dana said with a smile handing her brother coffee. "How is Dad feeling?" She asked noticing her father was asleep.

"He's doing good. Dana you need rest to you look exhausted"

Dana sighed. "I ran into Tommy at the mall. He must be all settled since Carter rescued him. Ryan Harley is living with him"

Ryan's ear perked up in surprise. "Did you see her?" He knew how much his dad and sister missed her.

"No but Tommy told us something. Tommy thinks she ran off because she was afraid she was going to lose Dad. Ryan Harley and Tommy lost their parents a week after she helped us" Dana explained. "Did you know?"

Ryan shook his head. "No"

"Enough yapping you two" Their Dad stated rubbing his eyes. "I knew" Dana helped her Dad sit up.

"You did?" Dana questuoned.

"Not right away but i found out a few days after it happened. I had read about it in the paper. I remember telling you guys to take the day off and getting trapped in the building after the monster attack. Well after Carter found out it was me to rescued him as a boy and you guys were at the beach i made the short drive to Angel Grove to find her"

Flashback...Angel Grrove 2000

The clouds were heavy in the sky as a 13 year old teenager lay in a hospital bed asleep. Tommy Oliver stood by the window looking out with the weight of the world on his shoulders. Three days before he had lost his parents to an accident. He and his sister were the two lone survivors but young Harley had been hurt badly but would be okay. They had been going down a hill when the brakes on their car failed causing them to go swerve and crash head on into a tree.

Tommy was broken out of his thoughts as a knock sounded on the door. "Captain Mitchell? what are you doing here?"

The older man took off his hat. "I read in the paper what happened i just wanted to check on you two. How is she?" His eyes going to the teen. "Does she know?"

Tommy sighed running a hand through his now short hair. "She does. She has three broken ribs She had surgery this morning on her knee but she is going to heal from her injuries."

"Tommy i know what its like to go through this. If there is anything you need don't hesitate to ask. What you sister did for me and my family a week ago brought my fsmily together. Did she tell you?"

Tommy smiled sadly as he sat in the chair next to his sister's bed and sleeping form. "Yeah she told me. Harley always wanted to help anyone in any way she could. Even though she wasn't a ranger herself our mentor told her tbat she would have the chance to. Now we know she did."

Captain Mitchell leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Tommy you two are always welcome to our home. Tommy if i may could i check in from time to time?"

"Off course. I know she would love that."

Captain Mitchell smiled and shook Tommy's hand. "I better get back home" With that he left the room.

Present Day...

"After that day i stayed in contact. I never told you guys because i never thought how close you three would be. She never spoke of the accident but i knew everytime she would visit she was keeping it bottled inside." Hr finished tellimg his kids.

"She entered our hearts from the day we all met her. We welcomed her as another sister now i drove her away" Dana spoke.

"Dana where does Tommy live?" Ryan asked.

"I don't know he never said, why?"

Ryan looked at his sister. "I am going to go track her down. She brought me back to you guys now i am bringing her back to us". Ryan replied as he left the room.

Tommy's House...Later That Night...

"Harley i got pizza!" Tommy yelled as he walked into the kitchen after an hour of being gone. He had left to go and run errands. "Harley!"

Harley walked out of her room and grabbed the boxes. "Sorry i got snappy with you earlier".

"Its okay" Tommy assured her as he handed her a plate. "I think the reason i was pushing you is because a few days after the accident Will came to visit you"

"What?" She asked in shock.

"Yeah. You had surgery on your knee that morning and you were still asleep. He came to check on us, you. He wanted to assure us that he would be there if we needed anything. Harley i know you love them as your own but he feels the same for you. Now they understand why you got scared."

"Your right." She told her brother who had a smirk on his face. "Is it too late for tonight to go visit?"

Tommy looked at the clock. "No its only 7PM i think visiting hours end at 9pm"

She grabbed her sweater and slipped on her sneakers. "Tommy i know i don't say this much but you may be my brother but you are also one heck of a Dad." She told him as she walked out of the house.

Reefside General Hospital...

Harley walked across the parking lot. She grinned slightly as she saw Ryan sitting on a bench looking defeated, "Wow the mighty titanium ranger is pouting". She joked getting his attention.

"Harley?" He whispered.

"Hey you, you look like you lost your dog". She sat next to him.

"I just spent over an hour trying to find where you or Tommy lived. No one knew" He explained.

She giggled lightly. "Tommy basically lives in the woods. I only got here this morning"

"You scared us you know?. Harley, Dana told us that Tommy knows why you just left like you did"

Harley felt a shiver. "He's right. Ryan it wasn't the part where Dana said it was a family affair, it was the fact he would have to have such a complicated surgery and knowing what could have happened made me shutdown. Ryan when i met you guys four years ago i never expected to become a part of your family but as time went on that changed." Harley paused as Dana walked out and sat next to her.

"When i lost my parents i had to watch them go into the ground together. When i overheard he needed surgery all i could picture was me being at his funeral and i couldn't handle it" She finished as tears streamed down her cheeks. "I'm sorry if it sounds dumb"

"No, honey it doesn't" Dana replied. "Believe us we understand we were scared to. Dad is to stubborn to die."

Harley laughed. "Yeah too stubborn for his own good"

"Come on lets go see him" Ryan suggested.

Ryan led them inside and to his Dad's room to find him playing checkers with Carter.

"Sorry sir but i win" Carter announced with a grin.

"Sore loser to" Harley whispered but Will heard her. "Oops"

"Yeah just like my son" He spoke.

"Hey!" Ryan grumbled.

"Harley" Will whispered.

Harley walked over to the right side. of the bed. In silence she sat on the bed and wrapped her two arms around him. "I'm sorry" She spoke into his ear.

"No apology needed." He replied as she pulled away. "Dana i believe you have something you need to ask her"

Dana smiled as Harley looked at her as she fully sat on the bed. Dana went and sat on Carter's lap. "Harley we were wondering if you would like to be a Godmother to someone?"

"Who?"

Carter smiled touching his wife's belly. "This little one"

"You-your pregnant?" She said in shock.

"Yes!" Dana exclaimed. Harley jumped off the bed and hugged the both of them. "I take that as a yes?"

"Yes, Dana i would be honored"

"So when do you start school?" Ryan piped up causing everyone to turn to him as he ruined the moment. "What?"

Harley threw a pillow at him. "That's a bad habit you have ruining good moments. Will you ever learn?. I better go Tommy is probably worried but if you want we can all meet for lunch tomorrow?"

"Sure" Dana agreed. "Ryan?"

"Yeah sounds good" He agreed.

Harley hugged each of them but Ryan held on longer. "You have no idea how worried i was Harley. Please don't do it again"

"I won't" She whispered. "See you all tomorrow"

Harley blrew out a breath of releif as she left the hospital as she walked home. Her mind now going to the four gems her brother was protecting praying they wouldn't become active.

Tommy's House..

Tommy looked up from the couch as his sister walked inside. In silence she never hesitated walking over and hugging into his side.

"What's that for?"

"Nothing" She sighed with a smile. Tommy looked down as her eyes got heavy and her breathing evened out.

Tommy knew that she would be alright. He turned the volume down and watched more TV before he fell asleep himself on the couch.
