Haruun Kal

Long time ago… in a galaxy Far Far away

In the vast expanse of the galaxy, turmoil reigned supreme. The echoes of a colossal conflict between the resilient Resistance and the sinister forces of the Final Order resonated through the cosmos. In their resolute stand against darkness, the Resistance emerged victorious, but the aftermath of the battle left scars too deep to easily mend.

As the galaxy tried to heal its wounds, a palpable tension lingered in the air. Fissures began to appear across the stars as countless planets, inspired by the bravery of the Resistance, rose up against the oppressive rule of the First Order. These revolts, while fuelled by a longing for freedom, sparked numerous conflicts that raged across the cosmos, casting a shadow of uncertainty over the galaxy's future.

Amidst this tumultuous backdrop, the valiant Rey, a beacon of hope and determination, sought to chart a course through uncharted territory. Despite the jubilation of their recent victory, she was haunted by recurring dreams. In these enigmatic visions, a young man lay concealed within an incubator, his fate intertwined with a distant planet known as Haruun Kal. Unbeknownst to Rey, this planet held the power to alter the very course of the galaxy.

Poe Dameron declined the offered promotion to the exalted rank of General within the Resistance. He chose to form a team to embark on an unyielding pursuit of the remnants of the First Order alongside the steadfast Fin.

Fin grappled with a secret he yearned to share with Rey, a revelation that weighed heavily upon him. However, the urgency to regain stability in galaxy and Rey's journey to rebuild the jedi order pace of their hunt allowed no respite for the confession that rested heavily on his conscience.

In the heart of this turbulent era, the Resistance struggled to birth a new Galactic Council as planets did not trust The resistance to provide the economic and galactic stability required. With conflicts still raging in various corners of the galaxy, forging unity proved to be an arduous task.

Within this shifting landscape, a new leader emerged from the shadows, their agenda concealed like a dark nebula in the cosmos, waiting for the opportune moment to reveal itself.

Chapter 1: Victory isn't always victory.

In the year 32 BBY, the planet Haruun Kal emerged as a world of intrigue and mystery. Located within the Dustig sector of the Mid Rim, along the Gevarno Loop, its reputation as a unique and enigmatic destination had only begun to take shape. On this day, the skies above Haruun Kal were witness to a significant event.

A medium-sized starship, battered and damaged, emerged from hyperspace with a sense of urgency. The vessel, piloted by Nas Windu, was in a dire situation. As alarms blared within its corridors, Jedi Master Windu's voice resounded with a calm intensity, issuing commands to prepare for an emergency crash landing. The ship's systems were failing rapidly, leaving them with no choice but to descend toward the planet's surface.

The planet itself was a breathtaking sight. With an atmosphere resembling a sea of clouds, the majestic peaks of massive mountains and plateaus rose above, their forms visible through the ethereal haze. Nas Windu's crew, consisting of ten Jedi and twenty-five support staff, braced themselves for impact as the ship hurtled toward the planet's orbit. The vessel's thrusters failed, leaving them at the mercy of gravity as they plunged into the atmosphere.

The crash landing was nothing short of harrowing. The starship's hull buckled and groaned under the stress as it contacted the planet's surface. In a cacophony of tearing metal and shattering glass, Nas Windu came to a rest on the planet's terrain. Despite the devastation, the crew had survived.

In the aftermath of the crash, a main settlement began to take shape. Using technology designed to coexist harmoniously with the dense jungle and the planet's unique ecosystem, the settlement grew. Within its confines, ten thousand individuals now called this place home.

The settlement bore the name Korunnal Highland, a testament to its integration with the lush jungle surroundings. The people of Korunnal Highland were distinguishable by their dark skin tones, often accompanied by thick afro hair or straight, flowing hair, sometimes a blend of both. Their most distinctive feature, however, was their eyes. The unique eye colours of the inhabitants were believed to be influenced by the Cloud Sea that enveloped Haruun Kal.

The settlement was a testament to unity and purpose. The Force flowed through their daily lives, with children and adults alike utilizing its power in their everyday tasks. The indigenous Korunnai, already attuned to the Force, found themselves in the company of newcomers—settlers who had journeyed from other worlds to establish a new life on Haruun Kal. These settlers came from three small tribes, their histories shrouded in obscurity, but they joined hands with the Korunnai to form the flourishing Korunnal Highland.

While records of Haruun Kal's distant history remained scarce before 1032 BBY, the events of that year began to rewrite its narrative. Yet, Haruun Kal was not untouched by conflict. The Balawai, a group of off-world settlers that included both Humans and various alien species such as Neimoidians, Kubaz, Yuzzem, Wookiees, t'landa Til, Kitonak, Pho Ph'eahian, Yarkora, and Togorians, held aspirations of control over the planet's valuable resources.

The years from 52 BBY to 22 BBY saw the Balawai and the indigenous Korunnai locked in a struggle for dominance. The Summertime war concluded through the intervention of Jedi Master Windu and Deepa Billaba, resulting in the Republic's establishment of control over the planetary capital. The aftermath of the conflict saw the Balawai and Korunnai setting aside their differences, working together to build a shared government system that fostered unity and inclusivity.

Little did they know the galaxy was not done with Harunn Kal yet…. a larger narrative was unfolding, a story that would ultimately transcend time and space. Little did the inhabitants of this planet know that their actions and choices would ripple across the galaxy, impacting lives yet to come. The echoes of history would reverberate through the ages, converging in unexpected ways to shape the destiny of a clone named Windu Kal and the galaxy's fate.

36 ABY deep below the former Galactic Empire cloning facility a fortified chamber within Mount Tantiss on the planet Weyland, a cloning facility formerly associated with the Galactic Empire, a strange occurrence was unfolding. A young man with a small Afro and a full set beard, eyes suddenly opened, he coughed and sputtered as he emerged from a clone incubator filled with water. The glass walls of the incubator were blurred, and a very annoying high-pitched alarm blared in the background. As the incubator's door swung open, water cascaded out, and the young man fell to his knees, gasping for breath. With wide eyes, he surveyed his surroundings, taking in the room and the world around him for the first time.

However, this was not where his story truly began. The narrative took a sharp cut back to 19 BBY, a time when even Mace Windu, a revered Jedi Master, had met his fate at the hands of Darth Sidious. The scene unfolded in the lower levels of the city-planet Coruscant, where a small group consisting

of three clone troopers and a young man wandered in search of something. They stumbled upon a distressed young lady on a rooftop, on Level 3204 mostly occupied by residents originally from the planet Alderaan. Nearby lay the body of none other than Jedi Master Mace Windu.

In a grim turn of events, a sample of Mace Windu's blood and cerebral fluid was collected by the clone troopers, and his body was swiftly carried away, disappearing.

The incident took place shortly after the completion of Order 66, when Emperor Palpatine's propagandist machinery began to tarnish Mace Windu's name across the newly formed Galactic Empire. This misinformation campaign was designed to cement the Empire's control over the galaxy.

Fast-forwarding to the current date of 36 ABY, the galaxy was still in the process of rebuilding after the turmoil caused by the First Order and the events culminating in the Battle of Exogol. Notable figures like Poe Dameron and Rey Skywalker, along with other surviving members of the Resistance, were working diligently to restore peace and order to the galaxy.

Poe Dameron led a unit focused on hunting down remnants of the First Order, while Rey embarked on the formidable task of rebuilding the Jedi Order.

On the Mount Tantiss on Weyland, the young clone named Windu Kal began to regain clarity in the dimly lit room. Flashbacks of his Mace Windu last day on the Coruscant flood his memory intermixed with erratic displays of Force abilities that he struggled to control. Suddenly, a holographic recording started playing, projected by a hidden source. The recording revealed important information: Windu Kal was a clone of the late Jedi Master Mace Windu, created under the direct orders of Emperor Palpatine. The emperor intended for Windu Kal to become his personal guard, and there were dark plans of training him in the ways of the Sith. Who was this figure? Windu Kul thought to himself the hologram paused and then said I have forgotten to introduce myself forgotten I am Royce Hemlock chief scientist for Imperial cloning program. The holographic recording continued, explaining that the Empire had likely fallen, and Windu Kul was now free to decide his own fate. A box containing further information about Mace Windu's history and his home planet. Unfortunately, the recording abruptly ended before completing its final sentences, leaving Windu Kal with a sense of uncertainty and a multitude of questions.

With dog tags inscribed "Clone number EFSC-02 (Windu Kal)" around his neck, Windu Kal possessed smooth skin, a dark black beard, and bright teal eyes. Despite his actual age of 55, due to the slowed aging process from the incubator, he appeared no older than 30. As the story continued, two modified Pit droids named Alpha MPD 1 and BETA MPD2 assisted Windu Kal in regaining his strength and getting accustomed to his new circumstances.

These droids, equipped with blasters and reinforced joints, guided Windu Kal through a series of steps, from getting dressed to consuming nourishment. Flashbacks revealed that Windu Kal's development was a result of complex processes and training that had taken place within an artificial womb. After overcoming the hurdles of limited initial communication, Windu Kal quickly adapted to his new reality and began his physical training.

After several weeks, the droids advised Windu Kal to leave the chamber and venture into the outside world, as they had no directives beyond assisting him. They also mentioned a ship hidden on the planet Weyland, which Windu Kal could use to explore different planets. The ship, a TIE fighter reaper, was equipped with hyperdrive technology and various modifications, ensuring Windu Kal's safety and freedom of movement.

After considering his options, Windu Kal decided to leave the chamber and embark on a journey to Haruun Kal. This decision was reinforced by a now regular dream of an oceanic world, high mountains, and an old woman's voice calling out to him, a dream that seemed to pull him towards this distant planet. Before departing, he requested detailed information about Haruun Kal from the droids, eager to study and understand the planet's history, its connection to Mace Windu, and the surviving Korunnai people if any existed.
