A new day started and Mimi woke up early to train with her dad as usual. Roll woke up later and had breakfast with her mom and her little brother Volt as he was being fed by Buneary and told her what her plans are for this morning. She nodded happily that Roll had some plans for today.

Roll went out to see Slowbro after a while and that day where her sister was upset over others confusing her for being the "little" sister because of Roll's evolution and the size difference and as much as Mimi assured her that she was over it she had a feeling she was pulling a brave face.

Roll knew her older sister well and knew she sometimes faked confidence in front of her to make her feel better so Roll thought about things she could do to make her feel better about herself.

Weeks passed and nothing came to her mind but now that she was going to hang out with Slowbro she could ask him for advice and ideas.

She arrived at the lake she and Mimi went to for their first time out and Slowbro was already waiting for her and called her over "hey Roll welcome back" he said to her.

Roll smiled and waved and hopped over to him and couldn't wait to spend time with her good friend and Shellder… since he was still there on his tail I guess.

Meanwhile with Mimi she was laying on the ground catching her breath and sweating after a intense training session "good work dear you are definitely getting better" her father Pikachu said some sweat running down from his forehead as well.

Mimi didn't say anything, just raised her arm and gave a thumbs up. The training her dad put her through was intense but she was willing to go through with it if it meant becoming stronger.

Pikachu looked at her "alright that is enough for today" he said looking at her exhausted form.

Mimi wanted to quickly get up "no look dad I am fine we can continue" she said trying to make a look of non fatigue.

Pikachu knew that look, it was his own when he was pushing himself but he would not let his own daughter get hurt. He knew she was a stubborn girl so instead he put on a wide smile "oh i know but it's almost lunch time, mom is probably already getting the food ready" he said and Mimi looked a bit disappointed.

He noticed and continued "besides a good battler must eat well after a hard training session" he added and Mimi quickly brightened up and nodded.

Mimi quickly hopped towards home with Pikachu sighing in relief behind her.

Back with Roll who was also preparing to leave but then remembered to ask Slowbro for advice "hey Slowbro remember the time i told you about my sister being upset at pokemon mistaking me for her older sister?" she asked.

Slowbro nodded "so I was thinking about doing something for her to make her feel better about herself" she said.

Slowbro thought for a second "maybe show her she can be just as loved even if she is smaller" he said.

Roll was thinking for a second before brightening up "oh I know! I will find her a boyfriend oh Slowbro you are a genius" she said.

Slowbro wanted to correct himself but was interrupted by Roll picking him up and hugging him tight "I will find her the best boyfriend ever!" She said and then put him down quickly saying goodbye and hopping home quickly herself.

Slowbro sighed before Shellder on his tail spoke up "you know I actually agree with her" making Slowbro raise an eyebrow.

Back home lunch was had as Mimi was stuffing herself with food "woah slow down sweety remember to chew your food" her mother said still holding Volt who was already fast asleep after having his meal.

Mimi did a big gulp "but mom I need all the time I can get for training, how else am I supposed to get stronger?" she said before putting the last bit in her mouth.

Pikachu chuckled to himself as he would sometimes do that back in the day "remember to meet up with Infernape after this you have stamina training with him today" he told her taking a bite of his own food.

Mimi quickly nodded and as soon as her mouth was empty she zipped out towards Oak's ranch ready for her training.

Pikachu then looked at his other daughter who seemed in deep thought and was barely eating "something wrong Roll?" he asked her quickly, getting her attention.

"oh? no no I am just thinking about something…" she said confusing Pikachu further.

"Are you sure everything is ok? Did something happen?" Buneary asked as Volt was happily nuzzling into his mother while asleep.

"Oh I am just thinking of doing something for Mimi for what happened last time" she said which just made her parents even more curious.

"Roll the thing with that Houndoor was definitely not your-" Buneary was interrupted when Roll quickly gave them an answer.

"I am gonna find a boyfriend for her" she bluntly said stunning both her parents.

After that shock her parents had completely different responses.

"Oh that is so cute" and "A boyfriend?" from Buneary and Pikachu respectively.

Roll just simply smiled and nodded "I dunno Roll isn't Mimi still too young to have a boyfriend?" Pikachu simply asked but Buneary was excited instead.

"I dunno, Pikachu, remember how young we were when we met? Not that much older…" she said, raising her eyebrows questionably at him teasing him.

"Yea but still… Mimi is not exactly someone that is looking for love…" he said, making Buneary smile and roll her eyes at him and his obliviosness.

"honey you were the most oblivious pokemon I knew when we were younger and now we have 3 kids. Do you really think Mimi at her age now isn't looking at any boys?" she said asking him, making him blush both at her suggesting how horny they can get at times. And that he was blind to her advances too.

"has it really been that long?" he asked himself as he felt Buneary lean on his side.

"Yep and I am happy it was all with you…" she said nuzzling to him.

Pikachu smiled and nuzzled back Volt, waking up and doing a cute yawn before climbing up on top of Buneary's head beaming a bright smile. The little pichu loved resting on top of his mother's head both parents giggling at his antics.

Roll giggled at the sight only wishing she could find someone that would love and treat Roll right. But then she rubbed her chin on who could possibly be compatible with a girl like Mimi since she isn't your average girly girl. She is a bit of a tomboy, loves to battle and well… she is a cute buneary and doesn't want to evolve like her dad.

Roll could only think to herself "well I hope Mimi got some of mom's charm that worked on dad…" finding a male pokemon for her is going to be difficult she would really need to ask Arceus for help to give her something to work with.

She could really use a miracle but surely it wont come quick right?

Meanwhile…

"Honey, are you ready for our trip to Kanto?" a feminine voice said that revealed itself to be a Sylveon.

"Yea mom I am ready…" a young male voice said walking to her a young Eevee boy sitting down next to her.

Sylveon quickly used her ribbons to dust him off and fix his fur "Nick you need to take better care of yourself how else will you find a lady for yourself?" she said half serious half teasing.

The Eevee named Nick blushed in embarrassment "mom… I was too busy looking at thunder stones on sale… still costs an arm and a leg…" he said.

Sylveon puffed "even with Serena's fashion money we can't afford those… maybe not think about evolving for some time… you are still young" she said smiling at him.

"Yea son don't rush these things, evolution is a serious thing for a pokemon" a deep gruff voice said from NIck's behind. He turned around seeing his dad Diggersby looking as happy as always "but dad I already decided I want to be a Jolteon. I already have wild charge like you…" he said pouting and Diggersby chuckled.

"Just make sure you won't regret your decisions later" he said holding a smile "now get in your pokeball and I will transport you and your mother to Oak's lab. I will join you two as soon as Clemont is done with the gym challengers… gosh the worst time to get an influx of challengers…" he said.

Nick nodded and pulled out his ball from his neck scruff. He booped it with his nose and got in ready to be transported.

Sylveon gave Diggersby a sad smile "I know you are just being protective of him" she said rubbing his side.

Diggersby sighed "I just have my own regrets… and the nightmares…" he said quietly so his son wouldn't hear him from his ball.

Sylveon hugged him tight "it's ok darling you have me if you need me ok?" she said and Diggersby nodded "you will be just fine. Love you darling."

Diggersby let out a small smile "with a lovely mate like you how could I not be?" he said, putting an arm around her and pecked her on the forehead "now go our son is waiting for you" he said and Sylveon nodded pulling out her own ball with one of her ribbons.

"Where do you keep that anyway?" he asked her out of curiosity.

Sylveon smirked, wiggling her behind "where do you think?" she winked making him blush

"Let's stay with one kid for now ok?" he said, half serious, half embarrassed. She smiled and kissed him before going into her ball.

Diggersby sighed as he picked up the balls and put them next to a computer. Typed in a couple of commands that Celmont taught him and the pokeballs disappeared from his sight being transported from Kalos to Kanto.

He sighed, making a mental note to wash his hands after this before the voices of his nightmares began to haunt his head again.

"Why Bunnelby? Why did you evolve? Why?" a woman with a clear galarian accent said in his head.

"Great, now you are boring and have no personality just like those other pokemon that evolved…" a male voice said again with a clear galarian accent. Diggersby could not see their faces in his dreams. All he could make is that they are human, clearly from the Galar region and… married? His nightmares sure were giving him weird details…

Diggersby will have another sleepless night tonight…
