Kagome breathed a sighed breath.
"How do you know i'm not?" Kagome asked.
"Because i would be able to scent it in your blood." Sesshomaru said looking at her watching her eyes.
"I don't want to talk about it." Kagome said knowing the look on his face he wanted more information.
"It can wait till you are ready" Sesshomaru said
"Thanks so where will i be staying." Kagome asked.
"Well the elders said you can stay with them or this Sesshomaru till your birthday." Sesshomaru said
"So who are the chosen after him." Kagome said
"Kre and myself." Sesshomaru said watching Kagome turn bright red.
"Who is Kre." Kagome asked
"He is one of my best warriors. You will meet him before then." Sesshomaru said
"Are you gonna be participating." Kagome asked looking up at him.
"i have not decided if i will be. Who ever win gets to mate you Kagome" Sesshomaru said
"So in all honesty i have no choice." Kagome said
"You always have a choice." Sesshomaru says
"Not if i have to mate one of you i don't really have a choice." Kagome said dropping her head.
"What would be bad about that. Would we not be worthy of you." Sesshomaru asked
"it's not that. why would either of you want someone so broken." Kagome said
"Because maybe to us your not broken." Sesshomaru said a servant knocking on the door informed of dinner being done.
Kagome looking at him shocked. following him out of the room. Kagome's brain running faster then ever
'What do he mean not broken?' Kagome thought following him to the dinning area.
As they entered the room a few had taken notice of the new guest. Sesshomaru took her to her seat to the right side on him. He took the seat at the head of the table. After he had taken a bite everyone started eating. A plate was brought out for Kagome with cooked meat and fruit. Kagome picked up a piece of mango and started eating it the juice running down her chin. Sesshomaru watched as she ate knowing she doesn't eat much any way. He would have to rectifies it soon she needed to eat more to keep strength. After she had finished her plate Sesshomaru asked Rin to take her to Rin's room while he has a meeting. Rin grabbed Kagome hand

"so its between us now with Oren no long to compete." Sesshomaru said
"Ya but force was never are thing." Kre said looking at him.
"true does your beast want her." Sesshomaru asked
"My beast doesn't mind her but isn't breaking the door down to be with her either. She is different i'll give her that she just seems to bring." Kre said
"Peace." Sesshomaru suggested.
"Yes." Kre agreed
"Are you gonna compete?" Sesshomaru asked
"No" Kre said
"So then a forfeit." Sesshomaru said
"Looks like it at least on my end." Kre said watching his lord closely.
"You will need to inform the elders of your with drawl." Sesshomaru said standing
"You like her don't you." Kre said with a smirk.
"She is more loyal then most know and stronger then anyone can imagine." Sesshomaru said smirking
"So you do want her?" Kre asked
"My beast seems to like her, but I have tried to kill her in the past." Sesshomaru added
"Is that when your beast became interested when you tried and failed?" Kre asked
"Indeed it has been years." Sesshomaru said
"Why have you not told her your beast has chosen her" Kre asked curiously, watching his lord as emotions flick through his eyes.
"Because she was infatuated with my half brother at the time." Sesshomaru said
"And now whats stopping you." Kre said
"I know what she has been through and lets just say she doesn't see the worth in herself anymore." Sesshomaru said quietly with a sigh.
"your brother must have done a number on her." Kre said
"Indeed if you drop out id like you to be one of her guards can you do that." Sesshomaru asked
"Yes sir with my life." Kre said
Sesshomaru left Kre to finish and headed to Rin's room so he could talk to Kagome. As her got closer to the door he could hear giggling from in her room. slowly sliding open the door Kagome was tickling Rin as she begged her to stop both smiling so big.
