At the start of Season 2, what if Gold took revenge on Regina into his own hands (instead of honoring his promise to Belle to not personally hurt Regina for what she did)? Instead of the wraith, he punishes Regina himself, and Emma picks up the pieces because of her promise to Henry that she won't die. My first divergent story. Hint at SwanQueen. This is close first person on what Regina went through during her torture at the end of Season 2. This is my first ever go at fanfiction, so I just thought about what happened from a different perspective.
