Hi folks, and here is the next chapter of Mario's adventure in Hell Kingdom. As Mario shares his identity with Angel and Cherri, they decide to take him to a place where sinners can get redeemed. Then, the princess of hell will get a call from her mother about someone important. Let's read.
Mario in Hell Kingdom
Chapter 3: Interludes in Pentagram City
In a quite desolated hallroom stood a demon with a white suit and white-blonde hair. This was Lucifer Morningstar, the king of all Hell and one of the Seven Deadly Sins. He was sitting on his chair with documents on his desk, filling and signing them off.
Lucifer was feeling skeptical about an incident that happened a few hours later. He got word that a vicious king of the koopas found a grimoire that contained magical demon arts like his and used it on the hero, Mario. He felt outraged for somebody so evil to do that.
Later, a tall, beautiful woman stepped inside the hallroom where his husband sat. Her name is Lilith Morningstar, queen and wife of Lucifer Morningstar. She had long white-blonde hair that almost touched the floor with two magenta devil horns in the shape of a ram animal. She had an extravagant golden tiara on top of her hair. Her dress was a sparkling dark mesh with a sweetheart neckline and a set of matching opera gloves covering most of her hands and arms.
She got done with her queen duties and decided to check up on her husband and asked, "My dear Lucifer, what seems to be the problem?" she asked.
Lucifer sighed and said, "Hello Lilith, I just recently felt a pulse that the koopa king named Bowser used magic that matched mine against the fabled hero, Super Mario."
"Ahh yes, Super Mario, the one who recently came down here because of Bowser." Lilith remembered. She felt the hero's presence when he came falling from the sky.
"Yep. And now he can't go back to his homeworld since Hell or Heaven can't allow anyone to go back that easily." Lucifer added. "The princess of the Mushroom Kingdom managed to give him special powers in case he couldn't find anything down here."
"Princess Peach, I would like to one day meet her and have a chat about her life in the kingdom." thought Lilith. "But right now, we have to make sure our new guest doesn't get into trouble with the other sinners down there." she said, facing the window of the manor.
"Don't worry, Mario here has a huge record of his heroic deeds in the past. Defeating Bowser for 40 years, winning against a demon from another dimension, vanquishing an ancient thousand-year old demon, stopped a count from destroying the universe, surviving a supermassive black hole, and retrieving the Star Rod back from Bowser." Lucifer listed.
"I'm so glad he defeated that wretched queen of the shadows. She was always a huge threat to us gods." she loathed, then feeling pleased. "It's a good thing he managed to bring the count and girl back together in love, for it was the only way to stop the catastrophe."
"I couldn't imagine how I would feel if I had lost you." said Lucifer, looking at his tall wife.
They both kissed for some minutes until they separated. Then Lilith asked her husband. "So when shall we bring him here for a meeting?"
"Probably in the next few days until it's a good time. I still need to finish filling up all this paperwork and meet with the council about newer plans to reduce sinner populations." Lucifer informed.
"Then allow me to make a call to my daughter and let her know that a very important guest is coming to her hotel. Once she meets him, I'll call her back again to let her know when the meeting for us, Morningstars and Mario, shall begin." Lilith declared.
"What a spectacular idea! This is why I married you to be my wife." Lucifer cried.
"...And why I married you to be my husband." she added.
As if fate had turned for them, they went out of the hallroom, holding hands to go find another room for their privacy session.
"Once we found Merlee, she managed to cast a spell on Mimi's invincibility powers to vanish, so the princess and I defeated her." Mario finished.
"God d**n, you took down a disgusting b***h without any fear?!" Cherri yelped.
"Ohh, now I really want to rub my body around your f*****g body for all your sweet s**t." Angel said with ease.
Some time later, Angel, Cherri, and Mario were walking through the city streets. Both demons were still stuttering that a celebrity had come to their aid in person. They asked him a lot about his adventures throughout his life and what made him so special.
Then Cherri remembered something about themselves and Mario.
"Hey, why did you decide to save us from that slithering b***h. Don't we look creepy to you in the first place?" She asked.
Mario was a little skeptical, but he said, "Well, considering that I'm used to going through new regions and worlds, I often don't mind since I do heroic things no matter how they look. That is why when I saw you two get trapped by that cobra, my instincts told me to go into action."
"So what you're saying is we aren't ugly to you or repulsive?" Angel rephrased.
"Nope." Mario simply said.
Angel and Cherri were so pleased he blessed them with respect. Nobody in their afterlife ever had some affection between the two since everyone in hell loathed each other. Now they have someone who doesn't care about what they did or commit, yet.
As the trio kept walking through the streets, they saw multiple sinners beating the hell out of each other and wrecking some places that were abandoned. Then, some of the sinners turned around and looked at the three. Some didn't care who it was, but most of them got intrigued by the newcomer that suddenly appeared in hell.
Mario saw all of this and asked, "So all these creatures here are just beating each other up for no reason?"
"By creatures, you mean sinners, yeah. Everyone here always act like whores who don't understand a single s**t." Angel retort.
"It's what sinners do in their daily life, find someone to f**k up, steal all their stuff, and go find somebody else. But for us, we know how the realm goes and Angel and I got our backs the whole time." Cherri replies and Angel nods in agreement.
Then a tall centurion demon came up to the trio, who was probably gonna try to rob them of their goodies. "Hey motherf*****s, I demand you surrender and give me all your valuables in your stash!" he sneered hatefully.
"Buddy, does it look like we're some couple of retards who are dumb enough to give you s**t?" Cherri retorts.
"Perhaps I can give you some delicious s**t, homie boy." Angel said as he acted seductively.
Mario was getting weird vibrations between the two, but he acted naturally since he usually saw weird things in his lifetime.
The centurion demon was starting to lose his patience. "I said hand over your valuables otherwise…" He looked at Mario and snatched him from the two. "Or I'll beat this f****r with my fists!"
Angel and Cherri were about to throw down until…
"Hold on a minute, I think I know what this idiot wants." Mario signaled to Angel and Cherri. Then he looked at the demon. "If you're looking for trouble, then why don't I give you a roundhouse brawl if you're that desperate."
"Hah, what's a stupid weakling like you gonna do, clean my tailpipe?!" the centurion uttered.
"Bring that fist of yours and you'll see…" Mario challenged.
"Suit yourself, f****r!" He brought up his fist close to his face in punching the lights out. But Mario craned his head sideways, grabbed his hand, and flipped him over, releasing him from his grasp.
Angel and Cherri were amused by this and stood next to the plumber. The centurion demon got up, looking very pissed at this comeback.
"Alright b*****s! If you desperately want to die, then here comes an order of pummeling!" He whistled loudly and then several goons with chains and bats spawned around them.
"Ho ho, looks like somebody wants to f**k us up, but we'll be the ones doing it!" said Angel.
Cherri brought out her bombs and gave one to Mario. "I hope you're ready to cause some s**t slaughter!" she grinned playfully.
"I don't do killing, but if I manage to make them unconscious, then you can finish the job." Mario spoke.
"Great, that means more for me and Angie to f**k these idiots up!" she gleamed.
Mario, Angel, and Cherri shouted their battle cry and began the bloodbath battle against the demon goons.
Several miles away, a lone, tall building rested on top of a hill, where Pentagram City was seen. This building was called the Hazbin Hotel, originally named the Happy Hotel until a certain radio demon came by and changed it. This hotel was made by Lucifer and Lilith's daughter, Charlie Morningstar, owner of the place and also known as the princess of hell. She established this hotel for sinners who seek redemption and give them another chance to redeem their sins and possibly go to heaven one day. However, many sinners found it very stupid that someone would waste their time in helping others when this was practically hell.
We go inside of a private room of a certain princess looking through a window. Charlie Morningstar is a beautiful young lady in her early mid-twenties consisting of a tall and slim-built white-skinned hellborn demon. Measuring over 6 inches, 6 and a half feet tall. She has long, ankle-length blonde hair with thin light coral streaks on the paler-blonde highlights, which is usually tied into a twice-banded low-ponytail by two black hair ties. Her hair also features bangs that are flipped to the left side and ends with a curl. Her eyes sport light yellow sclera and red pupils, thick eyelashes and gray eyelids, black lips and rosy red cheeks and her fingernails are black and pointed. She wears a red tuxedo-jacket with darker red lapels and a small white tag located on the left side. She wears this over an untucked, long-sleeved, high-collared white dress-shirt, having two black buttons and dark red cuffs, worn with black suspenders and a small black bowtie. Her dress pants are colored in a slightly darker shade than her jacket, and her footwear are heeled, white saddle shoes with black toes and tips of the heels.
She looked outside the window, feeling very distressed that many explosions and killing were happening at this moment. This is why she hated seeing so many sinners get brutally assassinated by one another. She made this hotel as a goal for her dreams to be a reality of no killing. Charlie didn't know how long this was gonna keep up.
"Hey Charlie, still feeling troubled?" said a voice from the open doors behind Charlie.
This was Vaggie, the manager of Hazbin Hotel and girlfriend of Charlie. She's a slim figured angel who sports a moth-like appearance with grayish lavender skin. She presents knee-length grayish-white hair with faded-purple tips and long jagged bangs, covering the left side of her face. On the back of her head, she has a red hair bow with small tears on each side and two long tails. Her right eye has a light pink sclera and an ivory iris, while her left eye has been replaced by a slate-gray eyepatch that sports a red-pink "X" shape, which glows when she is angry or irritated. Her mouth has small fangs and black lips, along a set of fingerless slate-gray opera gloves with matching thigh-high stockings, which include white scallops at the cuff and toes. She wears a blouse that is the same color as her bow and the "X" shape on her eyepatch, with dark gray peter-pan collar, dark gray trimming on the sleeves, and two dark gray buttons down the front. She also sports a choker and a miniskirt with a thick pale pink waistband hugging her waist, both colored in the same dark gray.
Vaggie went up to her and placed her hand on her shoulder, comforting her.
"Yeah. It's the same thing every sinful day. Lots of sinners are always terminating each other as if that'll save them." Charlie said sadly. "Why is my idea of redeeming sinners not convincing everyone to try it?"
"Charlie, as much as I want to comply, these fools are just a couple of mierda who don't understand the meaning of the word, redeem." Vaggie spoke normally.
"Then what can I do to spread more encouragement to anyone who needs more attention?" she said mournfully.
"I honestly have no clue Charlie, but maybe someday, there might be a way to convince them. We just need at least somebody who could support our motivation more than the ones we have. They still can't figure out how to do it." said Vaggie.
Just then, Charlie's phone rang and she quickly took it out of her pocket, her Mom was calling for her.
'Mom? I wonder what she might want from me?' Charlie thought. "Umm Vaggie, I need to answer my Mom's call okay?" she told her girlfriend.
"Okay, I'll wait for you in the lobby." Vaggie replied. She then left the room and closed the doors.
Charlie dialed the call button and answered. "Hello, Mom?"
"Hello my precious demon daughter, how is your day today?" Lilith spoke on the other line.
"Oh you know, waiting for sinners to come at the hotel, but there aren't any." Charlie responded in a sad tone.
"I understand how hard it is for you, but as a princess you'll figure out a way to bring guests to your residence." Lilith persuaded.
"Thanks, Mom. So why did you call me?" she asked.
"Well to start things off, did you notice anything outside?" Lilith questioned.
"No, I was busy in my office doing paperwork. Why?" Charlie asked.
"A strange portal opened in the sky that was totally different from how sinners arrive. Apparently, a man has landed in our city who doesn't look like a demon." Lilith informed.
"Holy s**t! A real human? Here? In Hell? How did this happen?" Charlie stammered.
"All I can decipher is, an evil king from his homeland used devil magic like your father to send him here." Lilith concluded.
"Oh s**t, is there any way for him to return?" Charlie pondered.
"Sadly, no human or demon cannot simply leave our domain that easily. Which is why I called you because I'm leaving you an important mission." Lilith then sounded major.
"Oh, what would that be?" Charlie asks.
"Since you want to redeem sinners, I'm leaving you in charge of taking care of our new guest when he arrives at your hotel. I want you to show him everything he needs to learn about Pentagram City. Your staff is welcome to assist you in helping the young man feel comfortable. I'll contact you or your father later for a meeting in our manor so we can discuss how we could try to bring him back to his homeworld. Do you understand?" Lilith proclaimed.
"Yes mother. I will do what I can to make our new guest feel right home with us. You can count on me." Charlie responded in dignity. "But wait, how will I know what he looks like and his name?
"Don't worry, his name is Mario and he wears blue overalls with a red cap marked M. Until then, stay safe and continue to follow your dreams sweetheart." Lilith finished the call and hung up.
Charlie put her phone away, and she faced her window again. "So this Mario guy has landed in our dimension, and he's practically human and not a demon? I wonder what kind of interesting features he has?" she wondered.

Lightblade1121: Wait. How do Cherri and Angel know about Mario and The Mushroom Kingdom? Mario (technically) didn't show up until 1983.
A: I recently read another user's fanfic crossover story involving the main character being famous and the Hazbin Hotel characters know him a lot. So I wanted to give the same treatment to Mario since we all know Nintendo's All-Star mascot.
Nintendo-Marvel64: Awesome story can't wait for the next chapter. I would like to leave some ideas if you're planning an expanded story from Season 1 of Hazbin Hotel, probably add filler chapters. Once Mario gets to meet Charlie and Vaggie, maybe have Mario be the one that helps Charlie Hotel and have Alastor be the second antagonist to try to get rid of Mario for ruining his plans for the hotel. It may be slightly different from the original show. Maybe future chapters will include other Mario characters from Paper Mario and Mario RPG.
A: That's a great idea, but making Alastor a secondary antagonist might seem weird. Instead, I can make Alastor hand out various challenges for Mario if he were to survive the outskirts of Pentagram City and the Overlords.
