Kuai Liang awakes in a dark reinforced chamber, as his thoughts reverb around him, getting louder with each echo before suddenly dissipating. He has no feeling below his neck, as though he has no limbs or body at all.
His brain throbs and aches at the most basic of thoughts, as though his mental capacity was being used by someone or something else. After several minutes of throbbing pain, something flashed before his eyes. Kuai Liang focused again, it was a coleseum, he was fighting to avenge... someone close to him.
His brain throbbed violently and he gritted his teeth to endure the pain. Kuai Liang tried his preffered method of meditative breathing, but the same amount of air entered his nose no matter how much or little he breathed. Kuai Liang let out an irritated curse, something he was normally far too disciplined to do.
Kuai Liang shuts his eyes to try and help himself think but even with his eyes closed he still sees the strange dotted patterns on whatever chamber he trapped within. Perhaps the same mechanism controlling his breathing may also controlling his vision?. A rumble startled Sub Zero out of his thought.
"Who is there?!" Kuai Liang demand angrily. His answer came quickly as his head slammed against the metal enclosure, knocking him unconscious.
