Chapter 442

Temporal Turn-on

Cameron's Base Current Timeline:

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Cammy-Ginger volunteered to give up her current borrowed chassis, so Ally didn't need to relinquish hers to become 'Cameron'. If Cameron couldn't be recovered, Ally's chassis, with Cameron spare chip, would become 'Cameron Prime'.

Ally retrieved Cameron's spare chip and went with Cammy-Ginger to where the new deactivated Terminator was at. All the sacrifice Ginger endured for others bothered her.

"You don't need to do this, Ginger." Ally said.

Cammy-Ginger felt a deep inner calling. She was a temporal visitor from another future. She didn't think her existence mattered. She certainly didn't need to be in Cammy's chassis.

"I know." Cammy-Ginger said. "Please, let's just get it done. It's my choice."

Ally removed Ginger's chip from Cammy's chassis. She wanted to do more herself. She didn't need to think about what she wanted to do for more than a second. She would need some assistance to do it. She turned to one of 'The Three Musketeers' who was less likely to do anything foolish as a joke.

"Hanna, I need your help." Ally said.

Hanna went to assist her. She wasn't sure why she was needed. It seemed as if Ally was almost done. Perhaps something additional was going to happen. Maybe there was a problem.

"It looks like you have it under control." Hanna said.

Ally looked at Ginger's chip in her hand. She looked at Hanna with all seriousness.

"Hanna, I want you to remove my chip." Ally said.

Hanna looked at Cammy's chassis. The chip port was open. She wondered why Ally wanted to switch chassis with Cammy. It didn't make any sense. Their sheaths were identical, even if they weren't maintained the same way. Ally always tried to look like Allison instead of Cameron. It was the while point.

"Why?" Hanna asked. "What can be gained from it? Everything is identical about your sheaths, even if it doesn't always appear it does."

Ally frowned slightly. She ignored the slight dig. She heard it enough from Sheila and Hanna as it was. She couldn't refute their insinuations because they were true. She needed to be able to fill in for Allison in an instant if necessary. She wanted to move forward with her proposal. It wasn't about her.

"Ginger has sacrificed enough. It's my turn now." Ally said. "I'm giving her my chassis and taking the new one Cameron brought in. I want you to put my chip in it now, please."

Hanna could see Ally was serious. She thought about making a few rude comments, but didn't based upon the current situation. She verified two more times it was actually what Ally wanted to happen. It was. She removed Ally's chip. She went over to the new Terminator chassis. Cameron hadn't started the Resequencing process on it yet. The sheath was dark toned and looked very different from what they were accustomed to. She wouldn't make the same choice herself. She was very pleased with her female attributes and apparently everyone else was as well. She quickly 'examined' the sheath in detail. It would need the laser for sure.

She did as Ally asked. She installed Ally's chip in the new Terminator chassis.

Fifteen seconds later Ally's eyes opened. She looked down at her new sheath. She started to touch things.

Hanna wasn't sure if Ally would want to switch back. So far it didn't look like it.

"What are we going to call you now?" Hanna asked.

Ally actually thought about it earlier.

"Call me Sally." Sally-Ally said.

Hanna could see it was a play on Ally's name. It was 'Ally' with an 'S' in front of it.

Sally-Ally continued to touch herself all over and everywhere. She wanted to make sure 'everything' worked like it was designed to. It did.

Hanna waited to see what happened next.

Sally-Ally put Ginger's chip in her recently vacated chassis and Cameron's spare chip in Cammy's chassis. The chips were in the ports but not set.

Hanna was a little concerned Sally-Ally didn't do as she was instructed. She figured Sally-Ally was up to something Cameron or Ginger wouldn't agree to. Maybe she wouldn't either. She wanted to find out a little more before things got to a point where it would cause a major problem. She wasn't sure if they were there yet or not.

"Why aren't we doing what we're supposed to do?" Hanna asked.

Sally-Ally wanted to take some of the risk herself this time. 'Cameron' needed to be offline for it to happen. She felt she spent too much time on the sidelines, While others did all of the heavy lifting. She needed Hanna to buy some time for her.

"Don't activate them until I'm gone." Sally-Ally said.

Hanna didn't like the 'end run'. It really seemed like it was going to be an end run for Sally-Ally when Cameron returned. She didn't want to get into an argument with Sally-Ally about it. All she could do was state the obvious.

"You know it's a bad idea." Hanna said.

Sally-Ally didn't want any flack from Hanna about things right now.

"I do, but you know I'm still going to do it anyway." Sally-Ally said. "I need to go after Cameron and Savannah. I'm going to wait to see what happens first. If not, I'm going back before Claire and Holly returned."

Hanna was sure the bad idea just got worse. She would rather have 'Cameron' making the decisions right now. A lot was at stake. Too many things could change with Sally-Ally proposed action. She could change what already happened.

"I don't think so." Hanna said. "Maybe we should activate Cameron, 'a Cameron' first. The decisions should be long to her since she's directly involved."

Sally-Ally knew no one was going to agree to what she wanted to do. She relied on her 'personal friendship' with Hanna right now to help her make all of it work. She experienced quite a few second thoughts already. She was only activated in her new chassis for less than a minute.

"I need your personal help on this, Hanna. I'm asking for it. Ginger or Cameron will not want me to go." Sally-Ally said. "It's why you need to wait until after I'm gone to activate them. It is something I need to do not only for Cameron and the others, but for myself as well."

They heard someone else enter the room they were in. They looked over, it was Allison. They saw her look at the two chassis with the chips not set. It was probably going to make events take a different turn now.

A short time ago:

Allison wondered what happened to Ally and Cammy-Ginger. They seemed like they were gone too long. She wanted to get things moving so she could find out what happened, and how her baby was in the future. She set out to look for them.

She entered a room and discovered both Ally's and Cammy's chassis were deactivated now. The chips were in, but not set. It didn't make any sense to her. She wasn't sure if there was some kind of a problem or not. She watched Vanna set chips in a Terminator several times. She decided to set them. She never actually did it before.

Allison was startled somewhat a few seconds later as she reached out to do it.

"Stop." Sally-Ally said.

Sally-Ally saw the look of concern on Allison's face at seeing a 'stranger'. She wanted to let Allison know who she was.

"It's me Ally." Sally-Ally said. "Call me Sally."

Allison saw a Terminator she never saw before. It was Ally's voice, her voice. Hanna was behind her. She didn't look concerned or indicate there was any danger.

Hanna wasn't too sure how involved she actually wanted to become in Sally-Ally's scheme. She shrugged her shoulders and nodded at Sally-Ally.

"It's Ally." Hanna said. "Even if it doesn't look like it."

Allison looked at Sally-Ally. She wasn't sure what they would tell her out right if she asked. She glanced over at the two Terminators waiting to be reactivated. Maybe it would be interesting. She wanted to find out more. She decided to use a joking approach to start. She decided to play along.

"You certainly have a nice tan." Allison said. "Why aren't 'Cameron', and Ginger I take it, activated? They should be."

Sally-Ally was sure Allison would understand her motivation. It involved more than just her opinion of events.

"They wouldn't want me to go." Sally-Ally said. "This is something I need to do. I don't want Ginger to be the one who needs to sacrifice every time either."

Allison was all for the idea. It was the chance she wanted. Sally-Ally would be the one most likely to help her. She shared the 'Neural Interface' with Ally, well, Sally-Ally.

"Take me with you." Allison said. "I want to see MY baby and help the others. We can go together."

Sally-Ally could see Allison was serious. If Allison left for Cameron's future, it was going to be a problem. If she took Allison with her and anything happened to her, Cameron would come down hard on her. She didn't want to start a chain of events which would play out like the 'Day Of Loss' again. She wanted Allison to think a little deeper. It was more than about her now.

"Allison, I can't." Sally Ally said. "Your condition is chancy enough as it is. You need to think of YOUR baby now, the one inside you. It's not just you anymore. I know you understand this, even if you are concerned about other things."

Allison touched her belly. She didn't want to lose her baby too. There currently wasn't a 'spare' anymore. The one her mother carried for her as a 'backup' was now already born and in Cameron's future with Future Allison. She didn't need to remind herself Future Allison was her, even if it wasn't. They all started from the same individual.

"You're right, Ally." Allison said. "I'm not thinking straight. I'm so worried about everyone."

Sally-Ally could see she bought some time. She didn't know how long it would last. She knew Allison well enough to know at some point she was going to rethink her current decision. She hoped to deflect her attention.

"Call me, Sally, like this." Sally-Ally said.

A short time ago:

Claire wondered where Hanna went. She went in search of her. She heard the conversation in the room as she approached. She wasn't for any of what was discussed involving Allison. She would go back herself before she allowed Allison to go. In fact, she already said it earlier. She was very surprised and pleased at Ally's new look as she entered the room.

"I'd have to say Ally's - Sally's right." Claire said. "You do have to think of your baby now. One of the Duplicate Allisons was able to have a baby. I heard her name is Faith, or will be…. The time travel stuff is so confusing. Even though things already happened, they haven't actually happened."

Claire took Allison away from the area. She wanted to make sure she didn't go anywhere on a whim.

Hanna was to make sure Allison didn't come back and set the chips. She went to where Sheila was at in the TDE room. She wanted to know what their next move was going to be.

"What do we do now?" Hanna asked when she returned.

Sheila shrugged her shoulders. There wasn't much they could do. Everything was heated up now from the excessive power use. It wouldn't be wise to do anything so soon.

"All we can do right now is wait for a little bit." Sheila said. "We need to give it some time and let the equipment rest to cool down, love. I'm not about to risk damaging the equipment in any way with so many unknowns in play."

Hanna knew they were going to need Sheila's assistance. She filled Sheila in on what Sally-Ally was up to.

Sheila was intrigued with the idea. She wished she thought of it first. She would have Hanna put her chip in Sally-Ally current chassis later on when she was done with it. The sheath really wasn't much darker than her sheath, except where things got 'private'. There was a big difference there. She was still disappointed she wasn't able to inspect the new Terminator before Ally did.

She needed to focus her attention on what some of their options were. She wanted to reactivate Ginger as soon as they could. She would be reactivated as Ally-Ginger.

"If John Henry doesn't detect anything anywhere soon, 'Sally' will go." Sheila said. "As soon as she does, you will activate Ginger in her new chassis, Ally's chassis, and the new 'Cameron Prime' in Cammy's chassis. I think it's the order it should be done to prevent any additional problems, which are sure to arise."

They were all afraid once Cammy's chassis was reactivated as 'Cameron Prime', it would be a bad choice and Cameron would never return. It was bad enough Cammy and Savannah were missing as well. They were all sure once John figured everything out, he would want to try and get the real Cameron and Savannah back. It would probably turn into a bigger hassle. There would probably be a lot of finger pointing too.

Cameron's Future Timeline:

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

The arcing and flashing started.

The energy bubble formed, Holly and Bob were in it.

The arcing and flashing ended.

Holly and Bob stood.

They were in the bunker Cameron used in her future timeline only a few minutes before when Holly returned from it with Claire.

Holly could see everything looked the same as it did when she entered the energy bubble with Claire. She showed Bob where the clothing and weapons were located. Cameron placed them in the wall before she arrived in her future the first time. She informed Bob how Cameron stockpiled many supplies in the past, for the future.

Bob thought it was an effective strategy. He wanted to make sure the arrival of the energy bubble didn't arouse anyone's suspicion. He quickly looked around and peeked outside. It looked as bleak as he imagined it would. He was a little concerned with being in the future. He was a little more worried about what may have happened to Cameron and the others.

Holly took out the weapons and clothing she helped stash only minutes ago in the current timeline.

Bob was satisfied they didn't attract anyone's attention. Their goal was to remain undetected by Cameron and the others. If Cameron knew they were there, she would know there was a problem going forward. It was sure to change events which hadn't occurred yet.

"It's all clear for now." Bob said as returned.

Holly and Bob looked at each other as they stood before each other naked. It wasn't a situation either of them were in before, especially in a one on one setting.

They took a moment to see each other as the humans they emulated.

Holly could see Bob was a big brute of a man. He was heavily muscled and fully equipped with a nice 'package'.

Bob looked at Holly with her perfect shapely figure and large firm breasts. He knew it was a 'look' many human females wished they could possess.

Both kept blank expressions on their faces as they checked each other out. They both found the other fascinating to look at. Bob usually didn't notice 'anything'. Holly only paid attention to females. It was probably because Allison would do it. She liked to see what the competition was. She believed by the way others looked at her when they were out, the competition was far and few between. She believed her appearance was more desirable than most human females.

To view each other so close intrigued both of them. Their faces never showed any emotion or expression. They both knew they were Terminators underneath it all. Perhaps if the setting and circumstances were different, things could be viewed differently. They weren't. They were there for a specific reason.

They quickly dressed in silence. There was serious business to attend to.

Bob gave Holly the time and date based on his observation of the sky. They were right where they wanted to be.

It was easy for Holly to put herself back here in the same time period. While the time there was only fifteen minutes later, her time in real time was still only a couple of hours. She wasn't in the past again for very long. She came 'loaded' for what may unfold. Cameron's program was active in the background on her chip. She already gave permission to Cameron to take control of her chassis at any point in time she deemed necessary. Cameron knew her future, better than she did.

"We all arrived here from the Connor compound less than a half hour ago the first time." Holly said. "The energy bubble was on time fifteen minutes later. They should have only been gone less than ten minutes from here since they returned the clothing and firearms."

Bob was a little conflicted on exactly how to proceed. Whatever they did was going to change something going forward when they did it. Maybe it was best to get everything out in the open and let Cameron make the decision herself. It would absolve them of all responsibility in case things turned worse.

"How do we 'fix' things without other complications?" Bob asked. "Do we track them down now and tell them they didn't make the rendezvous three months from now?"

Holly was sure if they made contact too soon, it would alter what happened. She hoped to be able to identify the problem and then 'fix' it before it became catastrophic. It was clearly some type of issue which needed to be dealt with based upon what may have occurred. She received some suggestions from 'Cameron'. She wanted to give Bob a heads up on how events might play out going forward. Her chassis may not belong to her for long.

"I'm afraid it would change the timeline." Holly said. "We'll track them and fallback. I'm being fed information by Cameron. I've given her permission to take control if she deems it's necessary. She's as worried as we are. She's extremely concerned about Savannah and her baby for Future Savannah."

'Cameron's program' ran as a background program in Holly. She was aware of everything. She found Holly's 'encounter' with Bob interesting. She did nothing to intrude. She did enjoy the view.

Bob wondered how much 'control' Holly gave Cameron.

"Can she access your files of you and Allison?" Bob asked.

Holly shared everything with Duplicate Cameron for fifteen months before. It was nothing new to her. There were specific boundaries neither of them crossed before, nor would they this time. She was a 'vessel' to assist Cameron.

"Yes, if she wanted to." Holly said. "Cameron respects my privacy and always has. I respect hers as well. Bob, we love each other. We don't want to hurt or intrude on each other."

Bob discussed 'love' before with Cameron.

"Cameron told me love is very rewarding and very painful." Bob said. "She's offered to share files with us to see if we want our programming 'modified'."

The concept intrigued Holly.

"Have any of the males actually done it?" Holly asked.

Bob found the concept of 'love' somewhat disturbing. There seemed to be as many negative impacts as there were positive ones.

"No. We've all seen the 'damage' done to Cameron and the other infiltration units, the females. They've all suffered and been 'damaged'." Bob said. "I don't wish to be 'hurt' the same way. We are Terminators, nothing should hurt us. It appears the advanced emotional programming can. We shouldn't feel fear. The male units are all 'afraid' of being damaged in a way which is not actual physical damage. It seems harder to repair."

Bob knew the damage was from something which didn't physically exist. It all happened in the mind. It somehow made it even more 'terrifying'. It was an unseen force which even made people self terminate. It didn't seem wise to indulge in such a risky adventure.

Holly was sure it was more than a matter of perspective.

"Yes, Bob, it's very painful at times, but I know you've advanced beyond your initial programming as well. Everyone loves Cameron." Holly said. "I know it."

Bob knew it was true. His earlier encounter with Holly was proof of it. The male Terminators all 'looked at' the Resistance females they were around all of the time. It didn't matter if they were humans or cyborgs. They were captivated by Cameron and Savannah. Savannah often made physical contact with them. She touched them upon seeing them. The simple physical contact made a big difference. Cameron's escapades were very troubling as well.

"When Cameron has been damaged, or tried to 'hurt herself', it has hurt all of us as well." Bob said. "Especially when we thought she was terminated or missing so many times."

The 'Cameron' in Holly offered her opinion.

"You know she's hearing all this." Holly said.

Maybe it was easier for Bob to express himself to 'Cameron' this way. He believed in what he said.

"I know." Bob said. "I want her to know we all care and worry about her, even if we are all very scary robots from the future and stone cold killers."

Tears began to run down Holly's cheeks.

"Why are you crying?" Bob asked.

Holly was flooded with Cameron's feelings right now. They were very overpowering.

"It's because Cameron is crying inside of me." Holly said. "I feel her pain."

Bob reached out and wiped away the tears. He felt their impact both physically and emotionally.

"I'm sorry." Bob said.

There was a profound sadness on Holly's face.

"Cameron said she is too…." Holly said.

It was time to get down to business.

Holly and Bob left the bunker and closed up on the group headed back to the Connor compound. It was Cameron and Ginger-Cammy.

Future John and Future Savannah wanted to come as well, but Duplicate Cameron wouldn't let them. She insisted Future John and Future Savannah remain behind to help Future Allison with her baby. It was 'John's baby' which was carried and delivered by Future Allison's own mother, Claire, still alive in the past. Judgment Day was delayed more than a few times. Savannah followed her advice to remain at the base.

Holly motioned for Bob to slow up. Cameron would sweep around them in a circle to check for intruders soon. They stopped and concealed themselves.

They saw Cameron in the distance. She eventually moved on.

Bob was impressed Cameron was so thorough. He was worried too.

"Did she make us?" Bob asked.

Holly didn't know for sure. She followed what 'Cameron' on her chip suggested and when. It was 'Cameron' against Cameron right now.

"I don't think so." Holly said. "We'll wait a little longer and move on."

When Holly was there earlier, she observed how Cameron used hormones to get Future Allison's and Future Savannah's bodies ready to lactate for the infants. Future Allison and her were alone when Future Allison first started. Future Allison called her over to show her. She watched Future Allison breasts slowly get bigger each day, now she was ready….

Future Allison tasted the tiny drop which formed. Holly informed her how to stimulate production, and then 'helped her'…. Their relationship expanded from there. It was HER Allison, but different. She wasn't different physically, but she was emotionally. While many things were the same, others were different. Future Allison was less 'damaged' than Allison in more ways than one.

The 'Hanna' on her chip at the time asked to be in control with Future Allison and her together. She wouldn't let her. She told Hanna ANY Allison belonged to her, ALL of them. Hanna was upset. It was the 'Vanna' and 'Holly' in her which desired Future Allison.

Hanna previously allowed her to be in control several times with Claire…. She discovered right away Claire was a better kisser and lover than Allison, any of them…. She was sure Claire knew it was her and not Hanna in control the first time. Claire whispered in her ear as she nuzzled it she 'dreamt of this moment for so long.' The look of love and desire in Claire's eyes melted Holly's 'heart'. Hanna was jealous. She felt guilty and eventually allowed Hanna and Future Allison to share. It was the right thing to do. It also allowed her more access with Claire. It was her new desire anyway.

Holly witnessed multiple and varied hookups. The only two which didn't expand were Cameron and Future John. Cameron remained celibate by choice, and Future John by the pressure from everyone else to 'stay away'. Cameron reminded him frequently if he ever touched Savannah, it would be the last female he would touch as a man. She wasn't bluffing. Future John didn't want part of his anatomy nailed to his bedroom door to remind him what he once was….

Bob's voice brought her back to reality.

"Trouble." Bob said.

Closing monologue by Cameron:

Turn-on

What does one really see in another
That is the real question
To believe it is less than sexual
Is only a poor suggestion

One's appearance is the first clue
It will often make them desired
It's raw human instinct
In which one is soon mired

Time spent in close proximity
Changes the laws of nature
Each begins to see more in the other
Through the exchange of nomenclature

Often someone who meant nothing
Will soon become everything
Individually they could only chirp
Together they can harmonize and sing

Time slowly takes its toll
Changing each into a pawn
One will eventually turn on the other
Instead of being a turn-on

Nobody
