Chapter 468
Temporal Tears

Future Timeline - Undetermined Error:

Savannah was appalled at what Cammy wanted her to do. She knew she would rather die, than 'kill' anyone she loved. It didn't matter if they were human or a Terminator. She motioned for Cammy to stand up.
"I'll never kill you, Cammy." Savannah said. "We're not there yet anyway. We don't even know if they know where to look. It didn't look like it. It could be something totally unrelated or routine as far as we know. The point is, we don't know."
Cammy knew the HK drones didn't always like to identify and attack one target. They would often fly away and return a short time later and hope to catch more people out in the open. She looked up at the tree they were under. She could see better around them if she could get to a higher vantage point. She realized it was possible there were others out where they were as well. She searched earlier but couldn't spot anyone from the top of the rock she was on. It could be the activity from someone else which actually brought the HK drone to investigate. She wasn't able to verify it was actually a Skynet HK drone. There was still a possibility it could be a drone from the Resistance. She strongly doubted it.
There was another group of trees not too far away. There was a very tall one there. She hoped to find better cover for Savannah. Where they were now wasn't a good place. The HK drone moved away for now. It still searched off in the distance in a grid pattern. It already searched the area where she wanted to go. She didn't think it would go back there, but it might come to where they were at right now if it detected anything.
"We need to move." Cammy said. "I don't trust it not to come back here. We don't know at what point there may be more than one. They often operate in pairs. So far I've only heard the one. It doesn't mean there's not another one around here."
Savannah was worried, but what else could they do? She wondered if she was worried or scared. She decided she was more worried than scared. It didn't seem to her there were very many choices or options available to them. There was one thing which bothered her immensely. It was what Cammy wanted her to do to her. It was something she could never do. She could never do it to Cameron either, even if she was Skynet.
"I'll follow you, Cammy." Savannah said. "Please don't ask me to kill you again because I won't. I care for you and love you too much to ever do it. I'll die myself before I ever allow you to be terminated by my hand."
It did make Cammy wonder if Savannah would have terminated her when they returned to the past in the energy bubble which was sent for them. It was when she held Savannah in it when Cameron stepped out of it. Savannah was very angry at her then. Savannah said she hated her. She called her a Bitch.
Cammy looked at Savannah. She didn't think Savannah would have even then. Savannah's love was stronger than her anger or her 'hate'. She didn't think it would hurt to ask anyway.
"I'm sorry I asked you to terminate me." Cammy said. "Would you have done it when you said you hated me? Could you have terminated me then?"
Savannah wanted to move forward and not dwell in the past. It was mostly what Cameron's problems stemmed from. She knew Cammy would suffer from the same 'problem'. She reached out and took Cammy's hand. She placed it on her neck. She wanted to make sure Cammy understood what she was about to say was truthful.
"Cammy, I don't want to rehash what's done." Savannah said. "It's over and we need to move our lives forward, not backwards. I may have been angry and said things I shouldn't have and I strongly regret it. I never hated you, even if I said I did. I never would have ended your existence in any way. I was the one who put your chip back into your chassis. I was the one who returned you to control of your chassis when 'Replacement Cameron' tried to take it. I may have said some bad things, but my actions were always positive and to your benefit. Always remember, actions speak louder than words, even when the words are loud. It's never about what a person says. It's always about what a person does. Everything else is just noise."
Cammy tilted her head slightly as she listened to Savannah's explanation. It was exactly what Savannah always did. Her actions always did speak for her. If there was ever any doubt whether Savannah loved her or not, it was clearly gone. She determined no matter what the situation was, she would make sure Savannah survived, even at her own expense. Savannah was the greatest.
She felt everything which went wrong, was Cameron's fault. It was Cameron who forced her to hold Savannah in the energy bubble. It was Cameron's folly by staying in the future which brought them back to where they were now. It was Cameron's misguided attempt to search for the other set of Duplicates which ended up bringing Savannah with her when they were 'in some future'. Now Savannah was in peril again, all because of Cameron and her irrational actions. Everything endangering Savannah was all Cameron's fault.
Cammy looked for the HK drone again. It neared its furthest leg on its search. It should turn away from them soon. It did. They would have five minutes to reach the next destination. She would need to make the best time possible to ensure the success of them reaching their next objective.
"Let's go." Cammy said.
Savannah looked down at her footwear. She was worried it would hinder her ability to run.
"I might slow you down." Savannah said. "I don't think I'll be able to keep up with you."
Cammy handed Savannah several of the baseball size stones. Savannah still carried the rock knife. She reached down and picked up Savannah. She decided to carry her.
"This will be faster for right now." Cammy said.
Savannah was surprised, but she knew if Cammy asked her, she would have said 'no'.
Cammy ran with Savannah to the next stand of trees. There was better cover there. She looked back once as she ran. The trees they just left blocked her view of the HK drone. It also blocked the HK drones view of them. They reached the location. She set Savannah down near some high grass behind the trees. She looked up at the tallest three. It was the one they were underneath right now.
Savannah looked back to where they were just a few minutes ago.
"Is the HK drone still out there?" Savannah asked.
Cammy could still hear it. She didn't detect any increase in the output of the power plants which would indicate the HK drone was about to make a rapid return.
"The HK drone is still searching. It won't come back this far. I hope." Cammy said. "I'm going to climb this tree and watch the HK drone for a while. You stay here and don't move. Call my name if you need me and I'll drop down in an instant. Watch for any animals, people, or Terminators."
Savannah knew she didn't want to encounter any Terminators, Grays, Scavengers, or snakes. They were really all the same thing except the snake didn't have a choice to be what it was.
Cammy prepared to climb the tree.
Savannah felt bad Cammy asked her to terminate her. It bothered her too when Cammy asked her if she would have terminated her when she was angry at her. It made her wonder what kind of a person she was.
"I love you, Cammy." Savannah said.
Cammy paused and looked back at Savannah. She knew her request 'hurt' Savannah. It was nice to know Savannah really loved her. She knew Savannah made a point of lifting her hand to her neck when she answered her about if she would have terminated her when she was angry at her and said she hated her. Savannah spoke truthfully when she said she wouldn't have, no matter how angry or upset she was.
"I love you too, Savannah." Cammy said as she climbed up the tree.
Savannah was excited to watch Cammy's naked figure climb up the tree in front of her. It was so elegant and beautiful. It was fluidity in motion. She knew it was how the three different versions of Allison she was with all looked. She was with Cam and Ally as well. Cammy and Cam would switch sometimes. Vanna was unable to tell when it was Cammy and not Cam when they switched. She knew it was Cam. She winked at Cam and told her. 'OK, Cam, show me what you've got.' Cam smiled at her and did. She was sure it was a more robust performance than Vanna usually received. She was sure Cammy reciprocated in the same manner with Vanna. Someone 'different' was always exciting, even if everything was the same.
Cammy climbed as high as she could. The HK drone was off to her left side by about five miles now. Cammy wanted to see where it went so she could investigate in that direction. She hoped she could see where it landed if it did. It would be a sure giveaway as to where the Skynet base it was from was at. She also needed to remember it could land somewhere, wait for an hour and take back off to see who it could catch out in the open. She didn't want to get caught in a sucker play.
Savannah looked around the area surrounding the tree. There were no good hiding places she could see. There was only some tall grass off to one side near where Cammy set her down at.
She wondered if Skynet was looking for them or someone else. It could be something different was going on around there. If it was, what was it? Is this where Cameron was headed? Maybe she arrived previously and was terminated or captured already. They didn't have communications with anyone, or any way to know. They still didn't even know if it was the right future.
If the time transfer worked correctly, they should have arrived right after Cameron did at the same location where Sheila sent her after her brief visit back to her base. They were supposed to be two minutes behind her. Clearly, neither was the case. The error may have happened to Cameron as well. If Cameron was here only two minutes in front of them, she surely would have come to investigate by now. Maybe they were earlier or later than the transfer was supposed to be. Cammy could only confirm the atmospheric pollutants were nearly identical to the future they were just in where she had her baby and gave it to Future Savannah.
She wondered if it was possible the HK drone was actually in search of Cameron. if Cameron was further ahead in time than their arrival, it was a distinct possibility the HK drone was actually looking for her.
As Savannah waited for Cammy to come down, she thought she heard something. She was going to call for Cammy but the noise was close. She didn't want to pinpoint her location. She was worried a Terminator was stalking her. How could anyone get so close to her? She was completely stationary and not moving. The HK drone could have alerted someone. Maybe it anticipated where they would go. Cammy did say it was the tallest tree around in the sparse group it was in.
Savannah was worried Cammy would be captured and the information stolen from her chip. She was also aware Cammy didn't want her chassis to be converted to some other 'function' for the pleasure of Grays. She knew her body would also be pressed into the same function if she survived the interrogation. The thought of it sickened her more than a little. She at least wanted to try sex voluntarily with a male once, just to see what it was like. She didn't want it to be a group of them and end up being thousands of times.
She carefully moved deeper into the tall grass around her. She was hidden from view from a human, but not from a Terminator. A sick feeling flooded over her. What if it was Scavengers? She knew they would brutalize her body in every way possible for days on end. During the abuse they would mutilate her. She saw females in the two futures she was in who survived being held in Scavenger camps. It wasn't pretty. The future with her mother was worse. None of the females would be able to nurse, even if they could get pregnant. There was only scar tissue there. None of them would ever 'finish' again. It was more of the same. Scavengers liked to leave their marks for all to see.
Vanna took her aside before she left to have the baby in Cameron's future. Vanna told her not to fight back. She remembered her words.
'You won't be able to stop them. They'll hurt you even more, knock out your teeth, and break bones, just for the fun of it.' Vanna said. 'They'll cut 'parts' off your body. I've seen it with my own eyes. Some make necklaces with what they've done. It's like a badge of honor, or trophies to them.'
Those words echoed in Savannah's mind right now. If they were about to be captured, maybe Cammy could rupture her power cell. They could embrace each other as eternity arrived and vaporized both of them. She would rather 'go' in Cammy's arms than be beaten and abused. Vanna told her it was terrible to be held down while they took turns.
Savannah knew in wartime some soldiers made necklaces with an ear cut off of someone they killed. The Scavengers made it more private and harvested their trophies off of live victims. There was no 'fun' in taking the 'parts' from someone who was already dead. They couldn't see the terror in their eyes, or hear their screams.
She was aware Jesse did the same things. She collected human body parts she removed from both live males and females. At least Jesse was ashamed of her past actions. She was able to get away from the lifestyle on her own, by her own choice. She confessed she thought causing pain and suffering with others would make her pain go away. It didn't. It only made it worse.
Her heart pounded. She was being gripped by fear. Surely Cammy must know they were coming for her. She wanted John to be her 'first', and hopefully her only male. Now it was going to be a group of violent strangers who 'took' her. Vanna's words screamed through her head again. She wanted them to stop, but they didn't.
Savannah's heart pounded. It was so loud. She tried to make it slow down, but she couldn't. She was afraid they were going to hear it. Her heart sounded like a locomotive in her own head. Her mouth was dry. She needed water. It felt like her mouth was full of sand right now. She couldn't even swallow and she needed to badly. She hoped she didn't start choking. She was sure she was going to cough. If she coughed, they were going to know where she was at.
Vanna's words flooded her.
'Volunteer to please them, do anything they ask.' Vanna said. 'They'll beat you less and maybe not even cut on you. The abuse will be over fast the first few times around. The initial abuse usually only lasts less than a minute for each one of them, one after another. They will all repeat. It takes them longer each next time. They will flip you over. Just lay there and let it happen. Let your mind wander elsewhere. Don't look or think about it. Then they will want you to please them in other ways. If you're hurt or dead, you can never escape. You wait for the chance to escape later on. I've seen it with my own eyes. Savannah, this is what happened to me. I was still young. It was only several months after Judgment Day when I was forced to become a 'woman'. It happened over and over for years. It happened hundreds of times, maybe thousands. I stopped counting after the first day. It was over a hundred nonstop acts. Once they found out I was 'untouched', they came from everywhere. They all wanted a virgin on her first day. I didn't think I would ever walk again.'
Savannah remembered both Jesse and Vanna told her if she was still a virgin on Judgment Day, to make sure there was no indication she was. She would be abused less the first time. She found out later Jesse personally made sure any young females she encountered would not later be identified as virgins. Some of the girls who still had a mother thanked her.
She felt sick. She was now afraid she was going to throw up. They would find her then and it would start. At least they wouldn't get 'everything' from her. She and Young Jesse took each other's 'innocence'. She was glad she already gave birth to two children. She looked down at her bulging nursing breasts. She knew she wouldn't be identified as a 'first timer' because of it. Unfortunately it would probably provoke another series of even more perverse acts against her.
She tried to push the thoughts away but they all began to replay again. It was a jumble of the same things she thought of earlier. It was all because of the vile and terrible nature of what would occur. The same thoughts flooded her again. Vanna told her to make sure it happened before Judgment Day, even if she needed to do it herself. Vanna told her she was abused even more because she was 'untouched'. She knew after having two children already, it would no longer be an issue. They wouldn't know her true virtue. She would never let them know.
Savannah heard the noise come closer and closer. They were almost upon her. She was ready to scream Cammy's name. The brush in front of her moved. She couldn't believe they were so close.
They found her!
Vanna's words screamed in her head! She could hear them over and over. They wouldn't stop.
What was she going to do?

Cameron's Future Timeline:
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Cameron was better now. She retained limited awareness of what she tried to do. She replayed her files and was embarrassed. Most of what happened was missing. It always was from the same type of 'events', but she saw enough. She needed to apologize to Future Allison. She must have looked like a fool as much as she looked like a threat. What made it worse was she thought she was the very person right in front of her! She was content with the fact she hadn't tried to terminate Future Allison because she thought she was there to replace her. It would have been incredibly ironic to think it was about to happen, when in reality it was what she attempted to do in the beginning.
"Allison, I don't know what happened, or what I tried to do. I'm deeply sorry." Cameron said. "I don't know why I thought I was you. It's happened before to me. I told you about it. I feel really bad about it all. There's been a lot on my mind lately."
Future Allison felt sad for Cameron. She didn't need to 'punish' herself over this. It was no big deal, everything turned out OK. She planned to 'cover it up'. She knew Cameron was worried about her upcoming confrontation with Skynet, and what the results were most likely to be. She didn't even want to think about them.
"Cameron, don't worry about it. Nothing bad happened to anyone." Future Allison said. "I'll speak with My Cameron. None of it ever happened as far as I'm concerned."
Cameron didn't want Future Allison to lie for her. She retained Future Allison's 'offer' to leave everything behind and run away with her, or with Savannah and her.
"Allison, did you really mean what you said?" Cameron asked.
Future Allison moved up to Cameron. She held Destiny and placed Cameron's hand on her neck. She wanted Cameron to know she was sincere. She would do anything to 'save' Cameron. She was very much like Savannah in the same regard. She wanted to make everything crystal clear.
"Cameron, I'll go with you and Your Savannah into any future, past, or different timeline for the rest of my life." Future Allison said. "If I can't take Destiny, I'll let My Cameron and My John raise her as their own. It's what you really want anyway, so will she. I know. You've told me before. Cameron, I love you. I've loved you like no other since we spent so much time together when you saved me, when you gave me back my life. I wanted to be with you then and go with you then, I wanted to return to the past with you."
Cameron heard everything she wanted to hear. It was all the truth too. How did she ever leave Future Allison behind before? How did she leave her in this terrible future? So many terrible things could have happened to her. She could have been terminated in the big attack Skynet launched against the Resistance base.
"You're being truthful in EVERYTHING you're telling me." Cameron said. "You really do love ME. You want ME."
Future Allison wanted Cameron to bring Savannah with them when they left. It didn't matter what the destination was. She wanted to make sure Cameron would have everything she wanted. No, it was more than wanted, it was everything Cameron needed.
"I know you want Your Savannah to come as well. I do too." Future Allison said. "We've shared and bonded with each other. I love her also."
Cameron could feel freedom was at hand. All she needed to do was take it. Future Allison offered it to her on a silver platter. She knew Savannah would go with them as well. There wouldn't be any questions asked. They would both go with her. The brass ring was right in front of her.
"I don't know what to do, Allison. I want it more than anything." Cameron said. "I want to be with you and My Savannah, and run away from everything. I want to get away from it all. I want to run and run as fast as I can and never look back."
Future Allison could see Cameron was ready. There was a new future waiting for them. It called to them. It was right in front of them. She needed to tell her long time lover. She needed to say 'bye' to her and no one else. She needed to give her daughter to the person she loved the most before Cameron.
"I'm only going to tell My Savannah and 'give' her Destiny, and then we can go." Future Allison said. "I don't want to say goodbye to everyone or even to anyone. I might not be able to do it then. They will try to stop us, me anyway."
Cameron could see Future Allison was serious. Her love was strong. It was as strong as Savannah's love. It was love to die for. She watched the girls from the future follow her into the unknown before. None of them ever hesitated. They all went with her, for her. They all went with her even knowing they were probably all going to die. They still went with her anyway.
"You will blindly follow me into the unknown and not know where we're going or what will happen?" Cameron asked.
Future Allison would trade her life for Cameron's and everything else too. Nothing was stronger than pure sweet love.
"Yes. That's true love, Cameron." Future Allison said. "I'll sacrifice everything for YOU. THAT is love."
Cameron held Future Allison and Destiny and cried like she never did before.
Closing monologue by Cameron:
Tears
The product of all relationships
Is soon to be crying
It all appears to start
When someone begins lying
It seems to be the ones
That can only truly hurt another
Are the ones who are loved
As that love they smother
No two individuals for long
Grow together as one
They soon drift apart
As sure as the morning sun
Everything is always in flux
Whether it's recognized or not
Lessons of the past once forgotten
Are soon enough again painfully taught
It all grinds the minds gears
Leaving one full of many fears
Take solace with many peers
Everyone sheds plenty of tears
Nobody
