Chapter 490

Temporal Thought

Cameron's Future Timeline:

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Duplicate Cameron held Destiny. She knew Future Allison left to go into the past to seek Cameron out. They were all under the impression Cameron was terminated. There was no proof one way or the other. They knew Cammy tried to 'fix' things, but they didn't know the outcome. She did know Cammy saved Future Allison's life. How she knew to do it was another mystery. It would seem to be information from the future. Maybe they missed something in all of it. It was possible they were in an alternate future at this point.

It seemed to her whatever information Cammy possessed should have been on her chip as well, since Cameron updated with her before she went off on her own to face Skynet. Cammy already returned to the past with Savannah earlier. There were a lot of unanswered questions. She was sure Savannah was involved as well. She didn't know if it was something Future Allison figured out on her own when she realized Cammy wasn't Cameron. It was a well established fact Cammy wasn't too far away from Savannah at any given time, especially in the future.

She wasn't sure what Future Allison was actually up to, or why exactly. She also knew Future Allison would return but if for some reason Future Allison didn't, she was going to take Destiny as her own child. It was what she really wanted. Maybe Cameron orchestrated the whole thing to make it happen. No one would be able to complain or point fingers at her then. They could still accuse her of terminating Future Allison so she could take her baby. Maybe she could play her intended role and 'be' Future Allison going forward if Future Allison didn't return. The only thing she wouldn't be able to do would be to nurse Destiny. She was sure it would make future John's life a lot easier if there was no 'Metal Bitch' hanging around him. She knew the term applied to her.

Duplicate Cameron knew every 'Cameron' wanted to have John's child as her own child, especially if it was from any 'Allison'. She thought of asking Future John about it. He never seemed to provide the answers she looked for. There were many things about him she found irritating. Past John was much easier to control and manipulate. Future John had much more experience with numerous females. Past John's experiences were extremely limited. There wasn't much difference in the skill level.

It seemed the best thing for her to do was address the issue head on. She might as well throw a few ideas out there and see how they resonated. Sometimes one needed to let the cards land where they fell. She didn't want the burden to fall on future Savannah either.

"John, if Allison doesn't come back, I'm going to raise Destiny as my own child." Duplicate Cameron said. "The two teenagers will help nurse Destiny. I don't think Savannah will have enough for Joy and OUR baby, Destiny. I don't want Savannah to try to do more than she can do."

Future John looked at Duplicate Cameron. He could see she was serious. He also thought she was way ahead of herself. It did indicate however she really did want her own child. The idea of the two teenagers being around all the time was more than a little intriguing. He already had his eye on both of them. He was pretty sure Future Savannah was already with both of them. Future Allison probably wasn't far behind her. He wouldn't mind making it a full house.

He needed to collect his thoughts. He wasn't ready to give up on Future Allison yet.

"Cameron, Allison has only been gone a few hours." Future John said. "She doesn't even know we know she left. I don't think we should start to worry about anything yet."

Duplicate Cameron felt some guilt. Maybe she did jump the gun a little. Maybe her desire to have a child of her own was influencing her judgment. She wasn't sure it was in the right direction either. She loved her family dearly, all of them. She wanted Future Allison back too.

"I want her to come back, John." Duplicate Cameron said. "I love her as I do Savannah and you."

Future John could sense there was more to the story. It didn't appear any 'Cameron' was forthcoming with all of the facts. They all tended to operate within their own sphere of influence and played everything very close to the vest. He knew it was more than just a Terminator thing. It was a 'Cameron' thing. He couldn't argue with her results though.

Right now Cameron's status was unknown. It was believed she was terminated. He understood there were other cards in play, which no one wanted to speak about. He would try to probe a little further once again.

"Is there something you're not telling me?" Future John asked. "Has it happened before?"

Duplicate Cameron possessed all of Cameron's files. The trouble was, many of them were still 'locked'. She didn't know what was in them. There seemed to be 'cause and effect' locks on them. They would only unlock if certain events happened. She didn't know what the certain events were either, until they happened. It was probably to prevent her from provoking the incident to make it happen. It was all very frustrating.

"I don't know, John." Duplicate Cameron said. "There is so much I don't know. I'm not really sure if I want to know it all, even if I think I do."

Duplicate Cameron brought Destiny over to Future John. She wanted him to think about what Cameron provided for them. It didn't matter who else was involved, it was Cameron who made it happen.

"Hold her, John. She's your baby, OUR baby." Duplicate Cameron said. "Cameron made this happen. It was a miracle for us she did it. You thought you would be childless. Now you have two beautiful children FROM both 'Allison' and 'Savannah' and YOU. They really are your children, OUR children."

Future John did know it was all the same people. It was just the younger versions of them still in the past. Cameron went to great lengths to make it happen for them. It took some sacrifice from everyone.

"I do have to admit, I was surprised at what Cameron did and the lengths she went to MAKE Young Savannah and Allison's mother have children and give them to US. I also have to say Allison's mother was very pretty. I was very pleased Allison was able to see her again."

Future John briefly wondered about one of those 'mother-daughter' things he'd heard about. Too late now, one was gone. NO. Actually both of them were gone right now.

It made him feel a little guilty. He was glad Future Allison was able to see her mother again. It was someone back from the 'dead', because they never died, thanks to Cameron. It made him think about his mother. She died a long time ago for him. Now she was still alive in the past and with his father, even if he was from a different timeline. It was still the same individual, even if he didn't personally know him as he did Future Kyle. Somehow Cameron was involved in all of it. Not only did she save everyone, she seemed to fix everything as well. She tried to do it without disrupting the timeline.

He didn't like to think about the fallen. He focused on the present. It was Destiny.

Duplicate Cameron knew everything she experienced now, and even her creation, was all because of Cameron. She wanted Future John to know Cameron didn't make people do anything they didn't want to do. She often did guide them to make the proper decision.

"It was the choice of Savannah and Claire to do what they did. Cameron never MADE them do it. Cameron has kept them all alive and fought this war, mainly by herself, John." Duplicate Cameron said. "By Cameron going back in time because YOU sent her back, ALL of this is possible. I'm here with you three also, now the six of us. It's ALL because of Cameron."

Future John knew Cameron saved his life as well when she returned to save HER Allison. She knew to come to him at the right moment. She waited there for him to stop him. She knew what would happen and prevented it. She gave him his life back, and a life to live as well. He also saw how troubled she was and how being in the future 'hurt' her to be away from her life. Somehow it all reflected negatively back on him.

"I can see Cameron isn't happy." Future John said.

Duplicate Cameron was aware of what John told Cameron on the bed in his room. It was right before he ran off to Mexico with Future Riley. It was a very potent slap in the face for Cameron to know what happened. It didn't stop her from going to Mexico to get him. She didn't doubt for a moment Cameron would have done the same thing Cromartie did to the authorities, to get John out of jail.

"She's a machine. She can't be happy." Duplicate Cameron said.

Future John didn't care for the tone. He read a little more into it. He thought His Cameron was content at least. Maybe she wasn't. He knew she couldn't be very much different since she was 'Cameron', and freshly updated as to a few weeks ago.

"You're happy, aren't you?" Future John asked.

Duplicate Cameron looked around. Future Savannah and Joy were in the next room. Future John held Destiny. It could be worse.

"I'm as happy as I can be." Duplicate Cameron said. "I wish I was Cameron Prime."

It didn't make much sense to him. It seemed it would have a very negative affect on her if she was.

"Why?" Future John asked. "Then YOU wouldn't be happy."

Duplicate Cameron felt a little more irritated.

"Why?" Duplicate Cameron asked. "You ask me WHY?"

Future John didn't see what the difference was. Now Duplicate Cameron possessed all of Cameron's files. They were identical in all respects.

"Yes." Future John said. "You're her, one hundred percent."

Duplicate Cameron was sad for Cameron. Everything fell on her back to deal with. With everything she went through, her time was limited. Nobody was lucky forever. They didn't even know her current fate. Since Cammy or Savannah hadn't returned, maybe they all made it. Maybe they were all terminated. There was no way to know. She actually wanted Future Allison to find out and tell her. It would determine her fate as well. She felt it was her duty to help Cameron.

"I want to take away her pain and share the burden." Duplicate Cameron said. "John, she's going to be terminated doing this. We all know it. Maybe she already is."

Future John thought Cameron did an excellent job. She was much more advanced and dynamic than he ever imagined. He understood the prospect of her survival with the destruction of Skynet and the entire mountain looked pretty grim.

"I know she's terminated many versions of Skynet." Future John said. "Every version of Skynet she's faced, she's defeated."

Duplicate Cameron knew how Savannah felt about Cameron and she believed in her like no other person did. She also knew Cameron faced Skynet many times in many forms. Skynet was like a Hydra.

"Somehow there's always another one or more versions of Skynet." Duplicate Cameron said. "Savannah always said Cameron is eternal. Apparently, so is Skynet."

Duplicate Cameron also knew Savannah believed Cameron was invincible. If she wasn't terminated after her latest adventure with Skynet, perhaps Savannah was correct.

Future John talked with Savannah many times. Her Terminator bodyguard was always nearby, or His Cameron was, or Cameron herself was. They were all very protective of her. He was aware she was the oldest virgin in his timeline and she was still a young teenager. He would have liked to have claimed her virginity. The Metal girls thought otherwise. He remembered what His Cameron told him would be nailed to their bedroom door as it mummified, or rotted with time. He resisted the urge to look down.

"Savannah also said Cameron was invincible." John said. "So far she has been."

Duplicate Cameron and Future John didn't have a clue Future Allison was inside the mountain seconds before it blew up a couple of weeks ago when Skynet was destroyed. They didn't know what she was really up to and they didn't know if she would return.

Duplicate Cameron found a file which disturbed her greatly. It was a grave site and the words haunted her.

My Beloved Allison -Young forever and forever Young….

My Beloved Savannah - Weaver of love into hearts and minds….

Maybe this was where it started and ended.

John and Cameron rested again, at least John did. They carried on several long discussions between love making sessions. Cameron's new voluptuous breasts, with the super pink nipples, sped up his refractory time. He really couldn't get enough of them. There were also other thoughts which troubled him.

"Can we ever stop Skynet?" John asked. "I mean keep it from enacting Judgment Day?"

Skynet caused Cameron a lot of frustration. She worked hard to terminate it in more than one future, but it always popped back up. She wasn't sure exactly what the problem was. She knew it was like a zombie. Even when it was dead, it was still alive somehow.

"I'm trying, John, we all are." Cameron said. "It always comes back."

John was aware of one of Cameron's biggest fears. She feared she was really Skynet. He thought it was something which needed to be addressed. He was sure it was an unfounded fear for Cameron.

"You weren't the Skynet you terminated in your future, were you?" John asked.

It irritated Cameron to remember Skynet's pathetic insults and threats as she terminated it, and the other ones before it. She hoped if she was Skynet she would have a better escape plan, and not make threats she couldn't back up. Maybe it was a good thing she wasn't Skynet.

"There was no indication I was." Cameron said. "So far there never has been either. It still troubles me."

It always puzzled John as to why Cameron even thought it in the first place. Maybe it was CamNet who became Skynet somehow. It seemed like all of the framework was there if it ever happened. He didn't want to get specific.

"Why do you think you will end up as Skynet?" John asked. "It could be something else."

Cameron didn't know the answer. If she did, she could prevent it.

"I think in order to prevent Judgment Day in this timeline, I have to become Skynet to control it and to stop it." Cameron said. "I've run millions of scenarios, John, I don't sleep. I think in fighting Skynet, it has tried to plant 'thoughts' in my mind, in my programming to hurt me."

John didn't see how it was possible. It would shift a lot of the 'blame' off of Cameron for some of the things which happened because of her actions.

"So a lot of the 'problems' you've experienced may actually have been created by Skynet?" John asked. "It would explain a lot of things."

Cameron didn't want to think about her failures. Maybe everything she did was a failure in the end. She wanted to deal with the 'here and now'. She wanted to deal with what John liked. She rolled on top of John and sat up. She touched and then cupped her new large breasts. They were very full in her hands. She could really grasp them, unlike her own.

"John, do you like them? Am I more beautiful this way to you?" Cameron asked. "I really want to know. This is a rare opportunity for us, for me."

She lifted his hands to her plump breasts. His hand hungrily touched, squeezed, and fondled them. He did like them. It was Cameron's sheath and he wanted her to be happy. He didn't think any decision about her appearance should be dependent upon him. He wanted her to be happy, even if she couldn't. He knew things were different.

"Cameron, I'll love you no matter how you are. I liked the way you were before the 'accident' too." John said. "I do have to say I'm intrigued by those pink nipples, but I liked how you were before as well. I'll love you however you are, even when you're 'damaged.' You have to know I still love you, even if you're damaged. Sometimes I don't think you believe in my love for you."

Cameron knew he turned away from her before. She wanted to think of more pleasant things. She knew if she altered her genetic code to keep her new sheath components, she would be different from Allison, all of them. She could have her own identity. She would be unique. She would be different from her clones and Ally too. She also wanted John to be happy and protected. Future Allison was there now, she could do both of those things for John.

"I saw you look at Future Allison and HOW you look at her. John, I want YOU to have her." Cameron said. "You deserve her more than Future John does. She'll stay if I ask her. I want you to have the best. I want you to have what you deserve."

John knew it was a lot to ask from someone, especially since she had a baby in her future. Maybe it wasn't for him but for Cameron.

"Would she stay for me or YOU?" John asked.

Cameron wanted to 'shortcut' on life a little. She possessed everything now to do it too. It would also give her what she wanted.

"Does it matter?" Cameron asked. "I want it to be Future Allison and Savannah NOW in your life. They're both ready, willing and beautiful, John."

John knew it was a fact. He was also worried about Cameron. He looked at Cameron's hand. There was no glitch. It said it all. It really was what she wanted. He was sure of it.

"It's what you really want, isn't it?" John asked. "I can tell. THIS is the combination you want it to be."

Cameron found more file fragments. She was sure she took them both and ran before with them. She wanted John to be with them.

"John, it IS what I want." Cameron said. "I want you to be a part of it, THIS time."

Cameron thought of the timeline she may have created where she took Future Allison and Savannah back a hundred years and the three of them lived a lifetime together. The 'ending' bothered her.

My Beloved Allison - Young forever and forever Young….

My Beloved Savannah - Weaver of love into hearts and minds….

John could see Cameron was lost in thought somewhere right now. He didn't want her to slip too far away. Was a very pressing question in his mind right now.

"Do you love them more than me?" John asked.

Cameron blinked several times and looked at John. Maybe none of it was real. Maybe none of it could ever be real, at least for her. Maybe her thoughts were just what she wanted and nothing more. Maybe it was the same for her nightmares as well. They could all be fabrications of her own mind.

"I don't know." Cameron said. "Maybe I don't love anyone and this is all a Skynet trick on me…."

Cameron got up and went to her dresser and brought John her Poem Book. There was a written log of her inner thoughts, feelings and desires. What else was there to say? It was spelled out right there. She looked at the cover before she handed it to him.

"It's ALL in here.. John" Cameron said. "YOU tell me."

John looked at the cover.

Young Residence - Current Timeline:

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Future Allison finished up with 'everything' and everyone. She could only spend fifteen minutes with each girl since her father was on his way to see her. It was more than enough time to finish with a skilled female. All of them were skilled. No one wanted to overrun her time she would spend with her father. She noted the others all made productive use of their time with each other while she was busy.

Her father came by as promised later on. She was thrilled to see him again. She barely remembered him. It was the second person she was able to see who was 'dead' in her future. Her mother was the first. Future Allison owed everything to Cameron. Not only did Cameron give her a future, she also gave her a past. Her family was here and alive, along with her sister, Summer. She knew Cameron would keep them alive and protected. Young Allison and Summer would never face a Scavenger, or a group of them.

Savannah told her she could stay as long as she wanted. They could both share her room. It was clear what it meant. She would probably never leave once they started such a close relationship. There was a sense of obligation which existed within her. It was more than just her love for those who she left behind.

"Savannah, I want it." Future Allison said. "I have a baby now, I need to go back. MY John and MY Savannah NEED me, MY Cameron is waiting for me. I know they know I'm gone by now. I'm probably going to face a bunch of questions, which I don't have any good answers for."

Savannah thought Cameron could make sure she stayed if she wanted to. She was told what everybody was going to do for her when she entered the energy bubble with Cameron the first time and ended up 'in some future'.

"Will they come for you?" Savannah asked. "Cameron can stop them."

Future Allison saw the big picture now. Maybe seeing her family was what did it. Where she was now wasn't her time any more. Her future wasn't in the past or the present. It was in her own future. She knew she needed to go back to the future.

"Cameron could, but she won't." Future Allison said. "I too know my place in time. I have an obligation to the future. Cameron made it clear to me when she saved me from 'herself'. Everyone sacrifices for John Connor. In one timeline, Cameron said you, her, and me were all together in the past. It was just the three of us in the distant past."

Savannah felt some 'goose bumps' with her statement. There was a lot of potential to it.

"She told me the same thing." Savannah said.

Future Allison spent some time with Young Allison. She didn't want to rob her of her future. She may have tapped into it a little, but it belonged to Young Allison.

"This isn't the timeline it happens in." Future Allison said. "This one belongs to my younger self and you. Savannah, my younger self will be everything I am and more. Look at her now. Could she be any prettier? I'm not going to steal her future from her even if I may have borrowed some of it."

Savannah was aware of the 'norms' some people felt. She was ready for more and she believed Young Allison was as well. Age was just a number. It was all going to happen anyway.

"I can't wait that long." Savannah said.

Future Allison smiled, she was with Holly, Cam, Cammy, Hanna, Vanna, Savannah, and Allison. She knew there were other girls, both human and Terminator for Savannah. It wasn't a random chance. Cameron made all the love and variety possible for Savannah.

"It's why Cameron has provided you with the opportunity for 'other things' until then. Do you know how much Cameron loves you to do it?" Future Allison asked. "She doesn't want you to ever feel like she did, or does."

Future Allison knew love was about sacrifice and Cameron sacrificed and made sure Savannah felt and shared plenty of love. Cameron made those things happen for Savannah. To do those things for someone you love shows how much you love them by their own sacrifice.

The reminder distressed Savannah somewhat. She tried to show Cameron pure unconditional love at every turn. She even stayed to die with her. She didn't want Cameron to die alone. She couldn't abandon Cameron, even if it meant her own life. She loved her too much. Somehow it seemed she needed to do more.

"How can we help her?" Savannah asked. "I'm trying."

It was an answer which eluded Future Allison as well.

"I really don't know how to help her." Future Allison said. "Nobody does."

Maybe the question was the answer.

Closing monologue by Cameron:

Thought

There are many things
That can leave one in a knot
Perhaps events that led to it
Are things that were for naught

The quest for desires
Is what is often sought
Everyone thinks they're about
To hit the big jackpot

Things that matter the most
Can not be bought
If they actually are
They won't mean squat

Most of one's troubles
On themselves they have wrought
Nothing plays out as planned
There is no Camelot

Does anyone ever really
Have a whole lot
It doesn't really matter
Few are content with what they've got

The lessons of life
Are often hard taught
The lessons reveal
Everyone has a blind spot

To believe love actually exists
One must be a crackpot
Trouble upon them is brought
For something that only exists as thought

Nobody
