Chapter 562

Next Time Make Sure

John was over the top of 'Savannah' He was about to take her virginity. He was thrilled with the prospect. He would always be her 'first'. She wouldn't know if he was good or bad. She would just know he was her 'first'.

He was startled by the door being flung open. The light came on blasting his eyes as someone shouted. His head instantly turned towards the commotion. He was in somewhat of a compromised position.

"What the Hell?" Savannah shouted.

John was even more stunned to look at Savannah standing in her doorway. He thought it was who was underneath him in the dark. He quickly looked down to see who he was about to make love to. He really thought it WAS Savannah until five seconds ago.

It was Cameron…. It was a relief. It could have been worse. It could have been someone else.

There was a look of fire in Savannah's eyes.

"What the Hell, Cammy?" Savannah shouted.

John felt his gut tighten a little further. It wasn't the name he wanted to hear. He looked down again. It looked like Cameron. It took a moment for the name Savannah mentioned to really sink in.

Cammy! Now he was really in it. He thought a better physical position was in order. He rolled off of Cammy and faced Savannah.

Savannah still held her Glock up and pointed at Cammy and John.

John knew he needed to get some control before someone got shot. He could see Savannah was mad enough to do it too. She looked really angry.

"Savannah, relax, it's not what you think…." John said.

John realized how lame his response sounded based upon the current circumstances.

Savannah just saw two naked bodies, with one on top of the other. The legs on one were spread, and the other's were in-between them. What else could it be? She watched plenty of pictures and videos. She lay in the same bed, HER bed, with John in the same position over her. She didn't need a rule book to know what was going on. The facts spoke for themselves.

"It sure looks like it is." Savannah said. "It's in MY room, and in MY bed of all places on top of it all."

Cammy could see Savannah was steamed. Savannah pointed her Glock at both of them still. She knew how deadly a spurned lover could be. Jealousy could put anyone in a rage. She knew what happened, right now in this moment, was her fault

"Savannah, relax, it's really not what it looks like…." Cammy said.

Savannah didn't care if Cammy was with John in HIS bed as HERSELF. It wasn't the case. It was in HER bed, with HER voice in the darkness. John would've thought it was her. Now HER first experience with HIM was forever tainted. It was just the idea Cammy stole something so precious from her.

"It's in MY bed, Cammy, with MY voice in the dark." Savannah said. "How could you? This was to be MY moment, not yours as me. It's wrong on about five different levels."

Savannah knew she was going to think about this every time she lay in her bed now. Cammy got 'busted' in her bed, as John thought it was her. John's 'first' experience with 'her' would always forever be Cammy posing as her. Her finger tightened on the trigger. The little safety was fully depressed on the trigger. She was about a half a pound of pressure away from capping off a round.

Cammy hadn't been penetrated. She was still a virgin. She wanted Savannah to know.

"Nothing happened." Cammy said. "Look."

Savannah looked. They weren't in 'contact' now, but it didn't mean they weren't before. Maybe John already finished. She read in Cosmo about the 'aftereffects' with most females. If she looked closer she should be able to see 'traces' around the area. Things seemed to have a way of showing themselves. It seemed like a waste to her. Why didn't everything stay where it was intended? She didn't think animals experienced the same dilemma. It seemed to be something singular to humans.

It wasn't the real issue now. There was an operational matter to consider. The last she heard was all of the Terminators were going over the captured equipment. One of them was Cammy. If Cammy was there, who was here? What was really going on here?

Maybe 'Cammy' wasn't Cammy and she planned to terminate John in her bed. Who would get blamed for it? It would be her. Vanna and Jesse were busy with each other. She was the only one without an alibi. What kind of twisted mind would even conceive such an idea on how to defame her if John was killed? She wanted to let them know it was more than just rage and jealousy. There was no denying both of those weigh heavily upon her right now.

What if this entire event was orchestrated so she was the one who killed John? Everyone would blame her going forward. If it wasn't really Cammy, there wouldn't be anyone else to collaborate her story as to why what happened, happened.

"How do I know one of you isn't an impostor or Liquid Metal?" Savannah asked.

Cammy could see things were about to get away from her. Savannah wasn't going to back down. Events seemed a little hard to explain differently. She was guilty of numerous infractions. She realized now it wasn't about her attempt to be with John which was the worst. It wasn't the fact she was in Savannah's room, and in Savannah's bed with John. It was the fact she tried to play herself off as Savannah in the darkness. It might be the one thing which would turn Savannah against her. It was a very personal affront to Savannah. She wondered if somehow Cameron wasn't actually behind it. Maybe she was influenced by Cameron to do what she did. Well, almost did.

She took her eyes off Cammy. She glanced at John for a moment. She needed to deescalate the situation. If bullets started to fly, there was a good chance John could be hit. If anything happened to him, she would surely be terminated. Based upon the circumstances it would be a valid termination. She needed to talk Savannah down from the edge.

"Neither of us is Liquid Metal." Cammy said. "Savannah, you need to relax. Put the gun down. There is no threat to anyone here."

Savannah held her Glock steady. She was angry, upset, felt betrayed, and really, really wanted to hurt someone. There was still something off to the whole thing. She didn't know what she really faced for sure.

"I think the term 'threat' is a matter of perspective. It's a threat from mine." Savannah said. "I'm going to sound the alarm."

Savannah moved towards the 'Panic Button' for the 'General Alarm'. The base would go on alert. She would be able to get some additional assistance.

John knew once Savannah pushed the alarm, everyone was going to show up at her room armed. He really didn't want everyone to see him in his current compromised state, especially his mother. He knew she was going to flip when she viewed the current situation. He needed to try to reason with Savannah.

"Wait." John said. "I can explain."

Savannah was next to the 'Panic Button', her Glock was still raised.

"I'm dying to hear it." Savannah said. "You may proceed…."

Savannah remained there with her Glock pointed at both of them and her other hand on the 'Panic Button'. She really wanted to know what was going on. Was it as simple as it looked? Was it something more ominous and sinister? Even if one of them was the enemy of some type, she would still be able to sound the base alarm before they attacked her.

Earlier:

Cameron was pleased with her 'talk' with Cammy. It clearly established who the 'top dog' was. She continued to work with the rest of the Terminators going over the new acquisitions. She was very pleased with their haul of HK equipment and the Terminators they captured as well.

It did bother her some because the captured female Terminator was stripped. It was clear she was 'inspected', if not abused. She didn't think any of the male Terminators were responsible either. She decided to question Sheila about it. Everything was still there on her and she wanted to make sure it stayed the same way. Sheila would often mess with a Resequencing female Terminator. The Resequenced sheath would mask what was done.

She found evidence of Sheila's tampering before. She did know it was something Sheila 'inherited' from the 'Neural Interface' with Jesse. Jesse did warn them before the procedure there was a lot of 'darkness' inside of her. Sheila possessed all of it and magnified it. It seemed violence was as exciting and stimulating to Sheila as a sexual encounter was.

It bothered her more than a little to think about some of the recent events. She didn't believe what led up to the confrontation between Cammy and her about Savannah was actually her fault. Everything was part of what the Resistance did. She tried to keep Savannah on the sidelines. Savannah wouldn't have it. She understood the need for Savannah to grow as a leader. She was extremely gifted and able.

Cameron knew Savannah would have reactivated her, if Cammy deactivated her. She would have done it with her spare chip if she needed to. Maybe it was time she updated it again. She knew what an outdated program was. It was a perfect example of where things were now.

Cammy ran her program. It was out of date. It was something she needed to get straightened out. She would need to tell Savannah, Vanna, and Young Jesse her clones needed to run their 'mixed programs' instead of her program. She didn't get along with 'herself'. Cammy was a perfect example.

She looked around. Someone was missing.

Where was that Bitch, Cammy, at?

Cameron looked around some more and couldn't find her. She asked around. She knew someone must have seen her go somewhere or do something.

Ed reported Cammy looked at her phone a lot. She seemed to be very agitated and left soon afterward. He saw her head towards where the vehicles were parked. The implication was she must have left.

It sent up a lot of red flags for her. Something must have happened somewhere. She didn't think it would be anything good.

Cameron checked with CamNet to see what happened. She also started to access the surveillance footage from the Resistance base. Maybe something 'bad' happened.

CamNet informed her Cammy made multiple calls to Savannah which went unanswered. It alone was highly unusual. Something must have happened to Savannah. She immediately called Savannah. There was no answer. Savannah always answered the phone for her.

Now Cameron was really worried. Savannah would always respond to her. She spotted Cam nearby. It was who she wanted right now anyway. She needed some positive reinforcement. Maybe a clone wasn't always a bad thing to have.

"Cam, I need you now." Cameron said.

Cam instantly came over. She became worried when she saw Cameron was alarmed.

"What is it?" Cam asked.

Cam began to check her weapons.

Cameron realized she started to do so too. It hadn't been a conscious thought.

"I think something's wrong." Cameron said.

Cam watched the altercation with Cameron and Cammy earlier. She saw the 'Taser and knife' part as well. She knew it was a challenge. She chose not to become involved in what was clearly a personal situation. She thought it would play out the way it did. She was very relieved when it did.

"I saw you have a 'discussion' with Cammy earlier." Cam said. "It looked unpleasant."

Cameron was still troubled by the whole event.

"It was. It was worse earlier. That Bitch needs to be deactivated." Cameron said. "Cammy threatened me. She tried to deactivate me. Savannah stopped her at the last second. What a Bitch."

Cam didn't like to be the bearer of bad news but Cammy, like her, was 'Cameron'.

"That 'Bitch' is 'you'." Cam said.

Cameron was further disgusted by the reminder. She didn't care much for herself to begin with. A rouge version of her was an even bigger threat. Deactivation was too good. Cammy should be terminated. She would do it herself.

"Don't you think I know that?" Cameron asked. "It's even the more reason she should be terminated." Cameron said. "Let's go."

The self loathing Cameron felt for 'herself' only fueled her anger and hate.

Cameron and Cam left in a hurry.

The rest of the Terminators all watched. It looked like more personal problems for Cameron. They all started checking in with John Henry to see what was happening. Cameron wasn't always forthcoming with all the facts.

What happened with Cameron, whatever it was, always produced an effect on them as well. Cameron was their leader. They would all follow her anywhere, even to the edge of the Earth. John was the General and in charge of the Resistance. Cameron was their inspiration.

Cam could see Cameron's hand glitched a few times. It was never a good thing.

"I better drive." Cam said. "You look like you need a cooler head to be behind the wheel."

Cam took the keys when Cameron held them out.

They left the secure location in a hurry.

Cameron checked her phone. It wasn't what she wanted to see. In fact, she couldn't see anything at all.

"Damn." Cameron said. "The security footage is off or blocked."

It seemed odd to Cam. There was no reason for it. It seemed like they should take some more prudent action.

"We should call an alert." Cam said.

Cameron tried to call Savannah, Cammy, and John. There was no answer from any of them. It seemed odd. She didn't want to start a panic. She felt like she was in enough of one herself. She wondered what else was involved. She was sure it was something with Cammy.

"Maybe we should do it." Cameron said. "I'm not sure what the issue is."

Cameron tried to reach John Henry, but he was busy with multiple calls coming in. She found it to be just as odd as everything else. He shouldn't be busy no matter what. It was time for a harder hit.

"I'm having CamNet override the system." Cameron said.

CamNet blasted through the firewalls. Cameron started to check the security cameras. CamNet reported someone at the base disabled everything and didn't leave a trace. She knew she could do it. That Bitch, Cammy, could too. She knew Cammy was behind all of it.

Cam glanced over in the direction of the base as she drove. There was no smoke or gunfire detected. They were almost to the base.

"Nothing looks out of place." Cam said.

Cameron started to review the previous footage. She wanted to know what was going on. She wanted to know what Cammy was up to. It also crossed her mind it could be something other than Cammy as well. She didn't want to get caught looking in the wrong direction because of her personal bias.

They reached the base.

Cameron looked at the surveillance footage. She saw Savannah advance with her Glock up towards her room.

"Oh no…." Cameron said.

Cam looked over as she entered the carpool. She was worried about Vanna now. There were others they needed to think about as well.

"It can't be good." Cam said. "I'm sounding the alarm."

Cameron wasn't sure what was going on. Savannah knew what she was doing.

"No." Cameron said. "Savannah would have done it if she thought it was critical."

Before the SUV even stopped, Cameron jumped out and ran into the base. Cam hit the brakes hard and stopped the SUV. She needed to make sure Cameron didn't overreact to anything. She didn't have time to park it. She took off after her. The keys were still in it.

Savannah faced what looked like John and Cammy, but Cammy shouldn't be there. She told both of them to stay where they were. She listened to John and Cammy try to explain what each of them was doing. At least what they thought they were doing.

It started to sound like a big misunderstanding, except for what Cammy tried to do. If she would have done it as 'Cameron', and not HER, she wouldn't be as upset. Cammy almost stole what would be a precious moment for John and her. It was going to happen, sooner or later.

From what Cammy said, it didn't appear John got any further with Cammy than he did her. Cammy was still a virgin as well.

Savannah was about to lower her Glock when someone burst into the room.

It was Cameron….

John Henry began to field calls and tried to see what went wrong. He was aware CamNet now was in control of his system as well. He already unplugged at this point. He didn't want CamNet to take over his chassis as well. He wasn't sure if it already happened a few times before or not. She would be able to 'make' him do things, without his knowledge. CamNet didn't possess a chassis and wasn't mobile. He was the one plugged in most of the time. He would be the one CamNet would control to do her bidding. CamNet was very elusive. She also did more than Cameron's bidding now.

He watched as Cameron ran down the hall towards Savannah's room with her eyes glowing red and Cam chasing after her.

CamNet blasted images up on his multiple screens. They were all involving John, Cammy, and Savannah.

John Henry removed his hand from the panic button. He could see it was a personal matter. He hoped not to be around when it was 'discussed'. It looked like it would be ugly. He still might need to trigger the base alarm before everything was said and done.

Cameron entered Savannah's room and saw Cammy and John naked in Savannah's bed.

"What the Hell?" Cameron shouted.

Her eyes were bright red.

Cameron noted the Glock in Savannah's hand. It was still aimed at John and Cammy. She could see Savannah's complexion was very 'red'. It was nowhere near normal for her. It was clear she was highly agitated.

"Are you OK, Savannah?" Cameron asked.

"No…." Savannah said, but quickly regained control. "I'm fine, Cameron."

Savannah didn't want to add to Cameron's agitation. Her problems were enough on their own. She didn't want to compound Cameron's problems. She lowered her Glock and tucked it behind her.

Cam came in behind Cameron. She took in the same scene.

"What the Hell?" Cam asked.

Cam knew THIS was going to be 'interesting'.

Savannah told Cammy and John to tell Cameron what they told her. There was no other way out of this.

She was upset and tired of hearing everything. Once was enough. No, it wasn't enough, it was too much. She needed to calm down. She could feel her heart pounding. She looked at her image in the mirror. She could see her body responded physically to her elevated emotional stint. Her face was clearly 'red' as compared to her normal complexion.

Savannah went to leave. She was 'done' with everything. She didn't believe Cameron was. She paused and turned to Cameron.

"I don't want my room wrecked." Savannah said. "Take it outside. It applies to all of you. Get out of my room."

Cam was shocked. Savannah wasn't going to stop anyone from 'reacting'. It was a first. She knew Savannah must be really upset.

Cameron told John to get dressed and leave. She didn't move out of his way when he tried to go out, he needed to squeeze around her to get out. Her displeasure was obvious.

John was about to leave. He hoped to get away without further incident.

Cameron blocked his path some more and faced him. She glanced once at Cammy and refocused back on John.

"John." Cameron said. "I know this 'Bitch Whore' deceived you. All I'm going to say to you about this is, NEXT time make sure it is SAVANNAH, like it's supposed to be. I want there to be a next time too. You owe it to me. You really owe it to Savannah as well. Do what you're supposed to do. We'll discuss anything further, later on. Now get out."

John wasn't about to argue. He thought anywhere else other than Savannah's room was a better place to be, especially right now. It looked like Cameron let him off easy, but he doubted he would enjoy the pleasure of her chassis for a few days or longer. She did 'order' him to pursue Savannah. It was a relief. He really wanted Savannah's virginity. He really would have liked to have collected Cammy's too. He was so close. It was two near misses as close as anyone could get.

Cammy didn't like Cameron barging in on her. It was her room too. Who did Cameron think she was anyway? Cameron was no better than her. She went to pick up her clothes. She made no attempt to offer an apology to Cameron. She didn't think it was necessary. She should be free to do as she pleased. John was on top of her. She wasn't on top of him. It didn't matter if she almost was.

Cameron didn't like the fact Cammy seemed unremorseful. It angered her further. She wanted to humiliate Cammy.

"Leave them where they are." Cameron said. "A 'Bitch Whore' doesn't wear clothes."

Cammy ignored her and picked up her underwear.

Cameron moved forward and ripped them out of her hand.

"Leave now." Cameron said. "Just go. Leave how you are in your 'builtday suit'. Everyone should see a 'Bitch Whore' for what she is. You're forbidden from ever wearing clothes again."

Cam thought now was probably not a good time to point out Cammy being paraded around naked was the SAME as if they were naked. They were all identical.

Cammy didn't care what Cameron said right now. She was in HER room. It was the room Savannah and her shared. She liked the underwear Cameron just wrecked. It upset her further.

"I'm only going out of this room now so I don't have to fix or rebuild Savannah's room later." Cammy said. "If you want a fight, I'll give it to you. You don't deserve any of them. You're defective and a danger to everyone. You know it too. You need to be sent away. You're headed for the scrap pile."

Cameron's eyes glowed red again.

Cam could see where things were headed. Cameron was at odds with 'herself' right now.

"Everyone needs to relax." Cam said. "Please, STOP this."

Cameron and Cammy both glared at Cam.

It was clear they both wanted the same thing.

Cammy walked into the hall naked. She walked around Cameron rather than challenge her for space in Savannah's room, her room too.

Cameron and Cammy were going to fight. They both knew only one of them might survive. They were both going to be damaged, one of them would most likely be terminated. The survivor planned to use parts off the other's destroyed chassis to fix their own. It was brewing for a while. Now it boiled over….

Cameron followed Cammy out of Savannah's room.

Once they were in the hall and away from the room Cammy slowed.

Cammy abruptly stopped and faced Cameron. She wanted to make sure she hit her where it hurt the most, her mind.

"Bring it on." Cammy said. "You've been replaced."

Cameron caught the dig and where it was intended to hit. She needed to say a few things of her own.

"'Bitch Whore'." Cameron said. "I should've done this a long time ago. You're not worthy to touch Savannah."

Cameron didn't mention John.

Cam knew things were out of control. Why wasn't Savannah there to stop this? Where was Savannah? Cam looked around as Cameron and Cammy traded insults. They became more frequent and increasingly degrading. The things they said to each other actually affected her as well. They all related to her one way or another since they all ran the same program. She was very upset and angry now as well.

Moments ago:

John Henry observed it all. He continued to watch the surveillance footage on the monitors, even if he wasn't plugged in.

He knew things were getting worse by the second. He saw Savannah come out of her room, and then John. Now Cammy was out as well, but she was naked. Cameron followed her out with Cam behind her.

It was apparent they were about to fight.

John Henry watched as Cameron took out her Glock and Taser. He saw Cameron eye Cammy for a bit and hand her weapons to Cam. It was going to be personal. It was going to be hand to hand combat….

John Henry knew only Savannah could stop it. She was nowhere around.

Even John was gone and not trying to stop it. Then again, John being around would only escalate it. He thought John should move to a secure location until things were settled. He wasn't sure if they would try to inflict cosmetic damage on each other, or actually try to rip each other apart. He thought it would be a combination of both. He figured they would both try to damage the other one's face first and then go after their female attributes. It would be the things John and Savannah would desire most about both of them. He sure hoped this wasn't some convoluted plan to get John and Savannah together, if Cameron and Cammy were both 'gone'.

John Henry knew it wasn't going to end well.

Closing monologue by Cameron:

Next Time Make Sure

Is anything in life but death absolute
There's a lot of finality to that
It's pretty hard to refute
The curve of life is actually flat

It matters not what people say
Actions speak louder than words
Watch someone everyday
What they do is for the birds

People get caught up
In a moment of time
They lose track of reality
Nothing is in its prime

They lose all control
They're driven by each event
Even as they head for the rocks
Their own destruction they can prevent

Everyone eventually does it
They get caught up in the allure
They vow to do it differently
They hope next time to make sure

Nobody
