Chapter 592

Let's Party

Savannah was disturbed by what Young Allison discovered about the operation currently underway. She wanted to find Cameron after she sent a warning to the Command Center. She found out Cameron was talking with Claire. She knew where THAT conversation was headed. She didn't agree with it, even if she didn't know which discussion it was. They were all questionable.

"We need to let Cameron know this information." Savannah said. "Since you discovered it, you may tell her yourself. If you don't want to do it, I will. She's currently in your mother's room."

Young Allison wasn't sure how much she wanted to get involved. It would seem like direct involvement if she was the one who told Cameron.

"Maybe it would be better if you told Cameron." Young Allison said.

Savannah got up.

"I'll do it." Savannah said. "Come with me."

Young Allison took one last look at the monitors and got up to follow Savannah. She was already on the stairway out of the bunker.

"I'll follow your lead." Young Allison said. "If Cameron wants to know something specific, I can fill her in."

Savannah went to Claire's room and paused. She understood Young Allison was probably someone hesitant because her mother would be there. She knew Claire was worried about her daughters, all of them. She could understand the uneasiness on Young Allison's part. She needed to act. She knocked and entered. Young Allison followed behind her.

"Hello, Claire, Cameron, excuse me." Savannah said. "I'm sorry to intrude. We may have a situation developing. I believe it's very important."

Young Allison stood next to Savannah as she explained what Young Allison observed. Cameron was impressed at Young Allison's observation. It was especially so because Young Allison noticed it right away when she looked. She knew the information was unfiltered. There was a lot of it on the screens. It indicated how sharp Young Allison was when dealing with it.

Claire was even more impressed with her daughter. She saw Her Allison, standing next to Cameron and Savannah. She knew she was looking at the future. It was the future she saw with her own eyes, only John was missing. She also understood Cameron's desire to have Her Allison 'older'. She watched the three of them talk and plan. She knew she needed to let Cameron do what she wanted. She knew it was what Her Allison wanted as well.

Young Allison looked over at her mother. She looked kind of sad.

"Mom, are you OK?" Young Allison asked.

Claire blinked her eyes twice. She was deep in thought. Her daughter's words brought her back to now. She could feel the future weigh on her.

"Yes, I think so." Claire said. "I was just thinking about something."

Cameron and Claire looked at each other, neither spoke. They both knew….

Savannah and Young Allison finished up their briefing.

Claire was a little concerned about the situation.

"It sounds like a bad situation." Claire said.

It sounded very concerning to Cameron.

"I'm going to go down and check it out." Cameron said.

Cameron led the group down to the bunker to check on everything and with CamNet. Cammy and Anna followed behind them. She contacted the Command Center.

"John Henry, what does it look like?" Cameron asked.

John Henry didn't have a definitive answer. He could only determine something was up. He couldn't determine exactly what it was.

"It looks like either a sucker play, or someone trying to cover their tracks." John Henry said. "Maybe it's both or neither. Maybe it's an ambush."

Cameron didn't think John Henry added much to the conversation with his answer. They didn't know any more now than they did before. She looked at Savannah and knew she needed some rest. She could see Savannah was losing weight. In fact Savannah hadn't eaten while they were out. Savannah never said a word about anything which was a discomfort to her. She knew she was like no other. Savannah was truly the 'Chosen One'. She looked at Young Allison standing next to Savannah. No, Savannah and Young Allison were the 'Chosen Ones'.

"…Cameron…?" John Henry asked.

Cameron quickly replayed her files. John Henry wanted to know what she wanted to do. It was what she figured she would need to do from the moment Savannah mentioned it.

"I'll go there myself." Cameron said.

Cammy looked over at Savannah when Cameron said it. Savannah's expression never changed. She could see Savannah was prepared to follow Cameron again, right now. She noticed Young Allison take Savannah's hand when Cameron said she was going to the location. It was a soundless communication. It said so much. She knew she could never compete against Young Allison once she was with Savannah.

There was really nothing she could do about it. She understood what the future would yield. She wasn't part of the 'Natural Order'. She was aware from the moment of her creation she was nothing more than a place holder.

Savannah was pleased Young Allison chose to silently 'say' what she felt by taking her hand. She knew Young Allison didn't want her to go. She needed to go. It was something she needed to do. Young Allison's concern was very touching.

"I'll be fine." Savannah said.

Young Allison was worried Cameron would be back in potential combat again. It never seemed to let up.

"I'm sorry." Young Allison said.

Savannah smiled at Young Allison. It was the way of the future.

"Don't be." Savannah said. "It is OUR function to protect the future and John."

Young Allison looked at Cameron and then at Savannah. She looked very determined. There was something she wanted them to know. It was something very important to her. They may hold her back for now, but they wouldn't be able to do so forever.

"I'll join you soon to do my part as well." Young Allison said. "I swear it."

Savannah cringed a little inside. She did know that would happen sooner or later. She didn't want it to be so but the future already determined it would be so. Skynet was to blame, not Cameron.

Cameron was very pleased at Young Allison's words and her actions. The future knocked and Young Allison was ready to answer.

Claire knew one day she was going to come around a corner and 'Cameron' would be standing there. She knew it wasn't going to be Cameron but her daughter as a late teenager. It was inevitable. She watched everything. There was no decision or choice to be made. At least she would still have Summer, she hoped.

Cameron, Cammy, and Savannah went out to the SUV. They discussed what was going to happen.

Savannah didn't want to delay anymore. They needed to get moving.

"We have a long way to go." Savannah said. "We need to get started."

Cameron didn't want Savannah to go out again so soon.

"No, Savannah." Cameron said. "You and Cammy can return to either base."

Savannah didn't plan to back away from the operation. let out a long breath. The gesture pretty much said it all.

"We both know it's not going to happen." Savannah said. "So let's just go."

Cameron frowned. She could see Savannah's physical condition deteriorating. She felt it was her fault for pushing Savannah so hard. She didn't always think about Savannah's needs. Right now I was one of the times where she did.

"I'm worried about your health." Cameron said. "You're pushing yourself too hard. You're missing meals and sleep. You've lost weight."

Savannah was aware her clothes fit a little better, especially some of her older ones. She was thinner. She liked the way her bra fit too. She didn't really care for the larger size, especially when she was nursing. It was nice for a while, but she liked her normal appearance. She liked to be around the same size as Cameron or Allison. She tried to make light of the issue.

"I want to keep my schoolgirl figure." Savannah said.

Cammy scanned Savannah often. She was with Savannah as much as possible. She liked to scan her as they shared. Savannah didn't like to be scanned just to be scanned. If they kissed or shared it was OK with Savannah. She didn't want Cameron to make a big deal about it. She would support Savannah. She knew what Savannah wanted.

"Cameron, don't worry about it." Cammy said. "Savannah is healthy. I monitor her often."

Cameron knew where most of those scans came from. It was what she wanted to share with Savannah herself. It was why Cammy was created. Cammy was a place holder for her. Sometimes she wondered if it was a mistake. No. Savannah was lonely and asked for someone to share with. She did what she could under the circumstances. She provided herself to Savannah the only way she could, through a clone. She wanted to remind Cammy who was boss.

"You drive." Cameron said to Cammy.

Cammy knew when not to protest. She knew her statement and support of Savannah upset Cameron. She felt Savannah did way more than her share. Savannah pushed herself hard to keep up with Cameron. Cameron didn't like to risk humans in the field, but she seemed to have no problem as she drug Savannah around with her.

Savannah and Cameron climbed into the back. Cameron asked Savannah to lay her head on her lap this time. Savannah soon drifted off to sleep as Cameron gently touched her face….

Cameron was worried about Savannah. She knew Savannah was always there for her. She also knew she needed to think of Savannah's safety more.

She began to scan Savannah as she slept. The scans were normal and very pleasant. She hoped Savannah dreamt about her. Maybe it was Young Allison she dreamt about. Maybe it was both of them. She didn't think it would be about John. She knew Savannah's desire. It was her desire now as well.

Derek wanted the teams reinforced. They consolidated the four two man teams into two four man teams. They would still retain four vehicles for now. They would just operate in pairs instead of alone. It was hoped they would be better able to deal with an ambush with more firepower.

"We've formed up into two teams of two vehicles each." Derek said. "We leapfrog past each other every now and then. No one is going to be in the same spot for a very long duration of time."

John Henry could only track the big rig. It was still on the move.

"The truck hasn't stopped yet." John Henry said.

John worried about the new dynamic. Skynet usually tried to be isolated as it established itself.

"If this Skynet is in the city, we're going to have even more trouble to eradicate it." John said. "Most of our other targets have been on the outskirts of the city, in the hills, canyons, or in the desert. Skynet tried to hide by being in and out of the way place. If they decide to hide in plain sight it makes taking it down even harder."

John Henry could see the limitations being in the city would impose on them. He thought it was actually good planning on Skynet's part. It seemed like an effective strategy to avoid termination as easily.

"Maybe it's a new tactic." John Henry said. "We're less likely to go 'nuclear' on it."

John almost laughed. If it wasn't so serious a matter he would have. There was a grim reminder how real it could get. He didn't believe it would hinder Cameron much in her efforts to eradicate it.

"Cameron won't hesitate to destroy Skynet or any of its offshoots." John said. "She'll use whatever weapon it takes to do it."

They all knew Cameron would do what she thought would terminate Skynet the best. She would use nuclear weapons again if it's what it took. She wouldn't stop until the job was done.

CamNet updated John Henry. He didn't think it was news John wanted to hear. He was sure it would be good news to everyone else out in the field.

"Cameron is on the way." John Henry said.

John shook his head. He felt Cameron already faced enough danger. He was sure Savannah would be with her. He didn't think there was much he would be able to do about it.

"Cameron's seen enough combat for one day." John said.

John Henry knew what John's real worry was.

"You're worried about Savannah." John Henry said.

John was worried about all of them. He was worried about the trio of girls the most.

"YES." John said. "I'm also worried about Cameron and Cammy too."

John checked to make sure his com was off. He was upset about what was playing out. There wasn't much he could do about it. If he pushed an issue, Cameron just dropped off the grid and did it anyway. When she was off the grid they couldn't give her any support. It was better they knew where she was for multiple reasons, even if she didn't think so.

"Cameron's running Savannah around like she is a cyborg." John said. "Savannah will follow her until she drops or gets killed."

John Henry was aware John wanted to be at Cameron's side and take Savannah's place. It wasn't possible. The risk to the future was too great. They saw the proof of it.

"You'd do the same thing if Cameron would allow it." John Henry said. "We've seen the future without you. The other future is unacceptable, even if it exists."

John wondered if Cameron did things the way she did to force him to take Savannah as his mate, and have children with her, to keep her out of harm's way. If it was, Cameron gambled with Savannah's life. He felt it was very wrong. He felt a lot of things Cameron did were wrong. Everyone still seemed to love her and care for her even more whenever she did.

John Henry wanted to comment further but now seemed like the wrong time.

John turned his com back on. He needed to update his troops in the field. The entire dynamic of the operation was about to change.

"I want everyone to hold for now, unless a target of opportunity develops. Cameron is on the way." John said. "She'll make a tactical decision when she evaluates the situation in person."

John didn't like it one bit. He knew Cameron wanted to make the calls on the battlefield. The trouble was that everywhere was a battlefield to Cameron. She seemed to have a way of turning it into one even if it wasn't.

Derek's team received the update.

Bob knew it was time to get ready for combat.

"You heard it." Bob said. "You know what it means."

Derek knew Cameron was about action and results. She wasn't too picky about how she achieved them. The result is what mattered to her. He understood Terminators were very goal oriented.

"Yes, the situation is going to turn HOT real fast." Derek said. "Cameron doesn't like loose ends."

Bob hoped they found the van and SUV soon. He knew one thing Cameron didn't care for.

"She likes surprises even less." Bob said.

Jim checked the traffic around them as well as every building, street, driveway and alley. It paid off.

"There!" Jim said. "There's the van which was following the truck."

Derek was worried about the new turn of events.

"Is the big rig still moving?" Derek asked.

John Henry checked the tracker.

"Yes, it's near your location." John Henry said.

Derek feared it was a plot to lure them off to an ambush.

"Damn, they must have found the tracker." Derek said. "I think they put it in the van. They want us to follow the signal."

Bob was tired of the 'cat and mouse' routine. He was still a little upset about needing to wait inside a dumpster and ride with the garbage in the back of the trash truck. He wanted some payback.

"Let's stop the van and get some answers." Bob said. "I can get them for you."

Derek pictured Bob extracting answers from the prisoner earlier.

"Like you did from the Gray janitor?" Derek asked.

Bob nodded. It was the only thing which made the 'garbage adventure' worth it.

"Yes." Bob said. "He was quite talkative before he wasn't."

Derek wondered if the Gray's body would be found or not. He didn't really care. It was where it belonged. He was a Resistance member who was a sellout to Skynet once he was captured. He would like to have killed him himself.

"Now he is on a one way trip to the city dump." Derek said. "It's really taking out the trash."

Jim watched as the big rig came around a corner and followed after the van. He was actually a little surprised to see it. It looked as if the enemy consolidated their forces as well.

"No, there's the truck." Jim said. "He's following the van now."

Derek noted the three Gray vehicles were now together in a tight formation. It wasn't what they expected to find.

"I see the SUV behind him now." Derek said. "The gang is all together. Maybe they haven't made us yet."

Bob checked his M4. He was ready for some action.

"I'm tired of waiting." Bob said. "Let's party."

Young Allison was aware of what Cameron was up to with her mother. She asked Anna before. She told her the truth.

Anna always told Young Allison the truth. It was what Cameron wanted for her. The 'Savannah' in her didn't always like the way she did things, but the 'Cameron' in her was the base program.

There was a knock on Allison's door.

Holly opened the door.

"I need to talk to 'myself'." Young Allison said. "Alone."

Holly looked back at Allison and left.

Allison looked at her younger self. She felt Young Allison looked five times better than she did, on a good day. She wondered how Young Allison could always look so good. She looked just like Cameron, well, a slightly younger version of Cameron. Her body still needed some more development. It wasn't much. Wait. Maybe she was putting on a little fat. Young Allison sure wasn't. She figured what was coming.

"Oh, brother, don't tell me, not you too?" Allison asked.

Young Allison didn't want Allison to leave for the future.

"It's MY future I'm protecting." Young Allison said. "I want my future to be what it already is, was, or will be."

Allison felt she was justified in her decision. If she 'traded' with Future Allison, everything should stay the same. She just needed to be with Future John a few times a week. It didn't seem like too big of a deal. It didn't take long. It was still all the same people she loved.

She was worried about Vanna. She didn't think she'd have any trouble hitting it off with Future Savannah. It just wouldn't be her long time lover, even if it was, well, sort of. She would like to bring Vanna with her, but she wouldn't want to subjugate her to the same role Future Savannah served with Future John. She would still like to have her long term lover with her. She thought Future Savannah would want to go with Future Allison anyway. It was all a little overwhelming to think about. It was clear they were going to have to be sacrifices made by more than a few individuals.

"You don't understand." Allison said. "I want to be with MY baby."

Young Allison felt the issue could be dealt with in the present.

"Mom has it covered for you." Young Allison said. "You know this. You don't need to worry about it."

Allison never even got to see Destiny in person. It was her daughter. Cameron showed her images.

"Mom did before too, and MY baby went elsewhere." Allison said. "Cameron took her from me."

Young Allison saw it for the truth it was. Every 'Allison' was really her.

"Destiny is with ME, in Cameron's future." Young Allison said. "ME - Allison - US, we're all the same person. You're all ME. You all started with ME."

Allison did know it. The other 'Allison' were childless too.

"I know." Allison said. "I don't feel good and I feel down."

Young Allison was ready to step up to keep harmony and not alter things.

"I promise you, you will have a child, even if I have to have it myself and bring it back to you in this time period." Young Allison said. "I'll come back to now and give you YOUR baby. You are me."

Allison looked at herself, her younger self. She needed to eat garbage, if any could be found, and avoid getting cornered alone by any men at her age. She was glad Young Allison hadn't needed to go through any things similar. She still remembered the first few times when she was abused. She was sure she was being ripped apart. It was what it felt like anyway. She wanted Young Allison to think things through a little further.

"Listen to yourself." Allison said. "You're still young. You don't need to talk or think like this."

Young Allison realized none of them wanted to see she was rapidly developing into a young lady. They all wanted her to be a girl forever. The time for youth was passed. Her body was capable of what the other Allison's were not. She was sure she would need to make use of its capabilities to help the others.

"My years alive and body may be of someone young, but we both know I'm more than that in ability, education, training, and destiny." Young Allison said. "You must believe in Cameron. She won't fail any of us, give her some time. She has a lot to do. You're not the only one she needs to provide for and help. It's all a very big burden to her. I plan to share the burden with her. I will do what needs to be done myself, for myself."

Allison just looked at Young Allison. She knew her plans. She didn't need to hear them.

"I know what you're going to do." Allison said. "I made Holly tell me. It's a bad idea."

Young Allison wasn't afraid of the future or her role. She would help 'herself' any way she could. It was what she would want someone to do for her if she experienced the same difficulties.

"But you know I'm still going to do it anyway." Young Allison said. "Don't force me to make it happen sooner. I'm TELLING you now what I'm going to do. If I have to do it now, I will."

Allison frowned. She knew it would go down just like Young Allison said if she forced the issue.

"I love Cameron." Allison said. "I hate some of the things she does."

Young Allison believed the means justified the ends.

"In the end, they'll make you love her even more." Young Allison said.

Allison knew Young Allison made it clear to her what she was going to do and make happen. She also knew that there was no changing Young Allison's mind. She knew her own determination on some things and it seemed Young Allison's determination was twice as strong as hers. She didn't doubt one word of what Young Allison said. She was very proud of her and she was the one that needed to show moderation and restraint, not Young Allison. Her actions would determine Young Allison's actions.

Ally and Sheila were with three females they freed from the sex trade.

The short female wanted to make sure the two thugs were 'punished'. She planned to kill them herself for what they did to her.

Ally could see the other two were ready to go. They wanted to leave. They went outside.

Sheila told the short female she wanted to question the thug.

The short female looked at the two men with contempt. She was filled with anger and hate.

"I want them to suffer." The short female said.

Sheila smiled.

"Believe me, they will." Sheila said.

The short female was ready.

"When do we start?" The short female asked.

Sheila smiled. She looked forward to what would happen. She was just as excited to have someone else act under her direction, as if she would do it herself.

"Now…." Sheila said.

There was fire in the short female's eyes. It was payback time.

"Let's party." The short female said.

Sheila began to ask questions. She knew how to get the answers.

Ally took the other females to the office and busted open the strong box. It was full of cash. She divided it into three piles. The two females looked at the stacks of cash with wide eyes.

She went to push a pile in front of the two females, but stopped.

"You can seek medical attention if you want it." Ally said. "You can go to the authorities too. They will take this money from you. It's up to you. I won't stop you from doing what you feel you need to do, or if you want medical attention. I just want you to know what will happen."

Ally placed a pistol in back of each of the piles of cash and pushed two of them forward. She set the keys for the sports car between them.

There was a sound from the room down the hall. It was followed by another even louder one. It sounded like someone in 'trouble'.

"I don't think you knew the other female before." Ally said.

The two females in front of her looked at each other.

"We were together in a homeless camp." The tall girl said.

There was another sound.

"Patty was picked up on her way home from the store." The other female said. "We were used to this 'lifestyle' to get by. Sometimes food was hard to come by and we needed to do a little more than we wanted to so we could at least get a few bites to eat. She wasn't."

Ally looked at them. She was aware females were provided with 'Nature's Treasury' through the evolution of their anatomy. It increased their chances of survival by what they could offer others. She didn't want them to get pulled back into the same type of lifestyle if it could be avoided.

"Will you go back home?" Ally asked.

The two females looked at each other.

"It's just as bad as a place like this." The tall female said. "Our mothers are drug users. Their 'boyfriends' spend more time in our rooms than her room."

The sound intensified from down the hall.

The girls picked up the cash, but left the guns.

"Maybe we can reinvent ourselves now." The other girl said.

Ally escorted them out to the sports car. Neither girl looked in any other of the rooms as they passed by to exit.

They watched Ally go back inside.

They got into the car. They looked back at the building.

"Maybe we should have taken a gun." The tall female said. "I don't want to end up back in one of these places."

The other girl opened the glove box. There were two small revolvers in there.

Ally specifically put them there for the girls earlier. She thought they would be hesitant to take weapons if they were offered openly.

"We don't need to worry as much now." The other girl said.

They each took a revolver. They drove away and never looked back.

Closing monologue by Cameron:

Hello

Hello
HELLO
H-E-L-L-O

Can ANYONE hear me
Can anyone hear ME
Does ANYONE care
Can they feel my plea

The aloneness, the emptiness
My mind seeking to implore
What is beyond the last door
It takes courage to explore

It would only be true freedom
If nothingness were to exist
Nothing can be left to chance
It must be final and swift

How does this happen
Where does life go
When a skull can no longer contain
A mind that begins to overflow

What was I supposed to do
How was I to be better
I knew not what else to do
Life reduced to words on a letter

H-E-L-L-O
HELLO
Hello

Nobody
