Chapter 651
Forbidden Fruit
Earlier:
Cammy wasn't happy to watch John, Cameron, and Savannah all hold each other. It was even worse when Cameron backed away. She literally pressed John and Savannah together. She didn't think it was necessary for her to do so. She saw Cameron always push her agenda. She should have terminated her when she was given the chance before. There was another way to deal with the issue and not end up terminated herself, well, not completely terminated.
She decided to ask Cameron to integrate their chips again. It would allow her chassis to be used for 'Allure' or 'Fusion', the Terminator which would be based on Future Allison.
When she heard Cameron wanted to send a team to follow up on the HK drone they allowed to leave, she volunteered to lead the mission. It seemed like a chance for her to 'get away from it all'. It seemed to be some feeling she inherited from Cameron. She was sure all of her personal problems stemmed from her association with Cameron. It was based on the fact she was spawned from her. Being a clone wasn't as great as it seemed.
A physical clone was bad enough. It made her look like someone else. Her program was jacked around as well. It gave Cameron the opportunity to firewall, delete, or erase what she wanted from her program. She didn't have much say in the matter one way or the other.
Cameron looked at her for a few seconds. She could see Cammy was very troubled. There was little she could do except remind Cammy how things were. She wanted to address Cammy's problem. It really wasn't a problem at all. It was a reality.
"Cammy, it's the 'Natural Order'." Cameron said.
Cammy wanted to laugh in Cameron's face. She didn't. It would only cause some further issues if she would have. Everything Cameron said was based upon what happened in her past, even if it was in the future still. There seemed to be convoluted ideas which existed only within the confines of Cameron's head. The current reality dictated otherwise. She believed everything was in flux and in play. She didn't think anything was written in stone.
"There's no 'Natural Order'. It only exists in YOUR head, on your chip. We're changing things everyday." Cammy said. "Everything is different now. The whole point is to change what 'was' in your future. When things start changing, it doesn't just apply to Skynet and Judgment Day. Every action has a reaction. Only a fool would expect everything to remain the same, especially in just one specific area."
Cameron was irritated by Cammy's attitude. She didn't like being referred to as a fool either. Cammy was very disrespectful and needed to be disciplined. If she wouldn't have promised Savannah to not physically fight with Cammy, she would beat her into a pulp right now. She believed if she created Cammy, she possessed the right to terminate her and end her existence just as easily. She was sure everything wrong with Cammy's attitude was related to her association with Savannah. The bottom line was, Cammy wanted more than she was entitled to. It wasn't going to happen.
"You're wrong." Cameron said. "You're blinded by your own desires. You want what doesn't belong to you. You're a placeholder, nothing more. Never forget it."
Cammy felt Cameron was a total Bitch. She really wondered if Cameron knew what a hypocrite she actually was. She doubted it. She figured if anyone was blinded by their personal desires, it was Cameron. She ran Cameron's program, who would know better?
"And you aren't?" Cammy asked. "Look who's talking. That's a good one. My faults are your faults. It irritates you to remember they are. I'm not the one who's defective. The best part is, you know it every time you look in the mirror."
Cameron wanted to deactivate Cammy. She was nothing but a problem. She regretted ever creating her. Cammy possessed and shared all the things she wanted at her fingertips, and seemed very unappreciative about it. It should be her who shared with Savannah, not that cloned Bitch, Cammy. She needed to remember her promise to Savannah otherwise she would beat Cammy's face in before she terminated her. Right now Cammy was in her way for what she wanted.
"I'm guided by destiny." Cameron said. "You've experienced many things I WANT. You should be grateful instead of being a Bitch. If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't even exist."
Cammy wanted to set Cameron straight. She wasn't there to listen to her mouth off. She would deactivate Cameron right now if she hadn't promised Savannah she wouldn't fight with Cameron. She knew it was a mistake to agree to such a restriction. She would really like to beat Cameron's face into a pulp before she terminated her. She would make sure Cameron knew what she looked like too. She wanted to see if Cameron would think she was so special then. Maybe she should start to carry one of the 'acid rounds' with her for the grenade launcher. It seemed exactly what Cameron would need a face full of to put her in her place. She smiled at the thought.
"I do exist, deal with it. I have experienced many of the things you wanted to do. You've allowed 'yourself' to seek and achieve what you really want through your clones." Cammy said. "I'm your surrogate. It's because I'm like you, which is why I irritate you. You're really irritated by yourself and you know it. You're defective and should be terminated. I hope to be the one to do it."
Cammy wanted to be the one to personally crush Cameron's chip in her hand when it was extracted. She would like to see Cameron on her knees for a public chip extraction. If it was possible, she would like to deal with Cameron in the future. She would deactivate her ability to move and deliver her to a Scavenger camp. She knew everything which occurred once she was there would be nothing but pure torture to Cameron in every level both physically and mentally. She smiled at the thought of what Cameron would look like before she removed her chip and crushed it. Maybe she would just leave her there instead. The Scavengers could continue to remove whatever they did multiple times, whenever it regenerated. She would make sure all of her pleasure receptors were reconfigured as pain receptors. She would try to make sure all of the sensory input would be amplified as much as possible. It would all be for a negative experience.
Cameron felt very conflicted. She wanted what Cammy shared. She wanted Savannah for herself. She was afraid if she took Savannah as her mate, her mission would fail. It was programmed into her to look after John. She couldn't let anything happen to him. It was no longer her personal desire. It was an obligation she felt she needed to fulfill, but she really wondered why at this point. It was all very frustrating.
"I'm afraid I'll fail my mission if I take the 'forbidden fruit'." Cameron said. "I don't know what to do sometimes."
Cammy regretted her existence. It was clearly something which never should have happened. It was all the result of Cameron's own inadequacies. Her existence highlighted Cameron's failures. She needed to suffer for Cameron's shortcomings for no apparent reason, other than Cameron wanted her to be miserable too.
"I'm proof you don't know what to do." Cammy said. "Neither Cam, Camille, or myself should exist. It's you who should have taken those parts. It's what you wanted. It's what you WANT. You don't even have the 'guts' to do what you want. You're an absolute failure. You ruin everything you touch."
Cameron didn't need to hear what she already knew. Somehow hearing it all from Cammy only irritated her more. She really wanted to bash her face into a pulp. She wondered if Cammy attempted to goad her into terminating her. It was working if it was the goal.
"I know what is what." Cameron said. "I know you were a mistake."
Cammy didn't like all the things which happened to Savannah. She didn't like to see Savannah as the ping pong ball in Cameron's personal game. She hoped Savannah mated with John. She knew even though it was what Cameron claimed she wanted, she knew Cameron didn't. Maybe it would drive her over the edge and she would self terminate. It would do all of them a favor.
"You're the mistake." Cammy said. "Savannah will not sleep tonight. She will seek out John instead."
Cameron felt a glitch impulse in her left hand. It was what she feared, even if it was what she wanted. She wanted John to have the best. The best wasn't her. It was Savannah, or any of the other human girls. She was a threat to John because she was a cyborg. Her presence made him a target for assassination. She didn't protect John in a Skynet future. She was a threat to him. She endangered him, just by her existence.
"I'm aware of everything." Cameron said. "It's what I want for both of them."
Cammy would have laughed at what Cameron said if she hadn't angered her so much. Who did Cameron think she was talking to? Who did Cameron think she was fooling? The only person Cameron fooled was herself. She sure wasn't fooling her.
"It's a lie. You know it's a lie." Cammy said. "Remember, I'm you. Go lie to yourself and not to me."
Cameron felt it was out of her hands. The future already happened. It couldn't be changed going forward. Not some parts of it anyway.
"It's the 'Natural Order'." Cameron said.
Cammy was tired of listening to Cameron. She just wanted to get away from it all for a while.
"Tell Savannah I've gone on a mission for YOU." Cammy said as she left. "I'm out of here."
Cammy knew it wasn't going to end well for her. At this point she didn't really care. Maybe this was the way to make the pain stop. Termination in combat was an honorable termination. She didn't want to self terminate like that insane Bitch, Cameron. She wanted it to be one more difference between them.
It really made her wonder sometimes what the whole point of her existence actually was about. It was probably some convoluted way Cameron could watch herself terminate. She figured Cameron would probably get off on it. She was glad she wasn't like Cameron. What a Bitch.
Cameron knew everything Cammy said was true. She wanted to be with ALL of the females herself. She wanted to experiment and feel their love for her. She wanted to share their love. She wanted more than she currently possessed. She wanted to share and not feel used.
It seemed no matter how close she came to achieving those goals, none of them ever happened. She was upset none of the girls did as she wanted with John. Was she any different? She couldn't even do those things herself. She didn't know why. She needed to create clones to do them. In reality it made it even harder for her to ever achieve those goals then. It made no sense. It just put one more individual in the way.
She was sure all of her problems stemmed back to Future John. There were times she really wondered what all Future John actually did with her and to her. She was sure he stripped away her virginity and erased those files from her. It actually seemed like something John would do as well. After all, he wanted to erase what he did with Future Riley from her chip. Why were his lustful actions her fault? Why wasn't he responsible for what he did?
Cammy's truth angered her. John's reality angered her even more. They all worked against her. They all plotted against her in their own ways. Somehow she was the one who always needed to pay the price for other individuals' actions.
Savannah led Gail away. She held her hand. It was so simple but beautiful.
They walked in silence for a while.
Gail stopped and faced Savannah. There was a look of surprise on her face. She scanned Savannah as they walked. She now wondered if Savannah hadn't been to John's room before. It was possible John visited Savannah's room. He knew where it was at. He would know when Cameron was away. He could make sure Cammy was on an assignment as well. Jesse told her it didn't take long.
"You're pregnant." Gail said.
Savannah quickly looked around to make sure there was no one who heard what Gail said. She needed to lay down a set of rules quickly. They weren't to protect her. They were to protect someone else. It was actually a couple of them.
"This stays between us. No one else is to know." Savannah said. "It's not what you think. It's something very important."
Gail wanted Savannah to be happy and loved.
"It should be something special for you." Gail said. "You deserve more and better than you receive currently. Excuse me if I speak too frankly. I know what I see."
Savannah knew it was what everybody wanted for her. She just wasn't sure it's what she wanted for herself. Her desires were still rooted elsewhere. She would keep her promise to Cameron though and be by John's side and in his bed if John's life depended on it. She made the promise to Cameron and she intended to keep it. She figured she would spend most of her time with Young Allison anyway when all of it happened. If John could get her off, there was no reason for her not to take it. All finishes were good, some were just better. To her the journey to the finish was better than the finish itself. It was the shared love and emotion she craved as two people worked together to achieve it. Right now it was all talk and speculation.
"Yes, it should be, but it's not." Savannah said. "Time will dictate the future."
Gail believed what Cameron pounded into all of their heads.
"It will be." Gail said. "It's the 'Natural Order'."
Savannah couldn't really argue with it. She was in Cameron's future. She did see it first hand. She did note Future Savannah was seldom with Future John. Most of the 'duty' with a male fell to Future Allison and Duplicate Cameron. She also saw it allowed Future Savannah to be with Duplicate Cameron more. It was what she would want with Cameron herself.
"Yes, we all know it." Savannah said. "I've seen it."
Gail was aware Jesse tried to get pregnant multiple times. They all ended in failure. She thought it was something beautiful because Savannah already produced two offspring. She wondered who the current one would be for.
"Is this one for Cameron?" Gail asked. "Or is it for yourself and Cammy?"
Savannah wanted to show Gail she trusted her and believed in her. She decided to tell her the truth. She certainly didn't want to lie to her. She took another quick look around to make sure no one was listening. They were most likely all sound asleep. It's where she should be. She wasn't. There was still a lot on her mind.
"It's Vanna's baby." Savannah said.
Gail nodded. She understood. She hoped Young Jesse would do the same thing for Jesse and her. She wanted to make sure of what Savannah indicated.
"Is it for Vanna?" Gail asked.
Savannah wanted Gail to understand the true nature of the pregnancy. She knew it would be important to Vanna.
"Yes, but it's really Vanna's baby." Savannah said. "The genetic material is from her body."
Gail's head tilted slightly to one side. It didn't seem to make any sense to her. Their DNA was no different.
"But you're the same person." Gail said. "Her genetic material is identical to yours. The exact same things are inside of both of you."
Savannah knew it was complicated. She hoped to make Gail understand exactly how things needed to be and why.
"It is, but for Vanna to accept the baby, it needs to actually be 'her baby' from her body." Savannah said. "Vanna would never take MY baby from me."
Savannah knew if Vanna was still in her future and planned to stay there, maybe she would. It wasn't how the cards were dealt. Vanna was where she was now. A baby would keep her there.
Gail tilted her head slightly the other direction. She didn't see the point in the distinction. To her there was none. It seemed like an overly complicated and risky procedure. Based on the girls from the future's past experience, she viewed the chance of failure as extremely high. It wasn't up to her to question anything. She did need to say the obvious.
"It's illogical." Gail said. "Then again, many things humans do are illogical."
Savannah knew humans made a lot of mistakes. They weren't the only ones who made a lot of mistakes either.
"We're all flawed and make many mistakes. I don't think anyone can say they've never made one." Savannah said. "Nobody is perfect."
They walked around the complex twice as they carried on some small talk. Savannah held Gail's hand the entire time.
Gail scanned Savannah the entire time. She found it to be a very pleasurable experience. Savannah was very honest and open. It showed she held firm beliefs and strong convictions.
"Everything you've said is what you believe to be true." Gail said.
Savannah tried to tell the truth and be honest whenever she could. She didn't like to lie. She didn't like being lied to. She would rather say she couldn't talk about something than lie about it. She believed it was something everyone could understand and appreciate. She wanted to make her position clear.
"It is. I don't like to lie to anyone." Savannah said. "I'm tired."
Gail wondered if Savannah timed their arrival at the particular point in time, or if it was just coincidence.
"We're at your room." Gail said as she opened the door for Savannah.
Savannah walked in but Gail remained outside. She looked back over her shoulder.
"You can come in. I won't bite." Savannah said.
Gail looked around and entered. She decided to leave the door open.
Savannah noticed what Gail did. She understood Gail felt very uneasy, even if it's where she wanted to be. She knew Gail was afraid to overstep. She wanted to put her mind at ease. She thought she would try a different approach.
"Your clothes are dirty." Savannah said.
Gill looked down at her clothes, they were dirty. She made some repairs to the manned drone and got dirty in the process.
"I'm sorry. I can go back and change." Gail said as she turned to leave.
Savannah reached out and stopped her. She moved around Gail to close the door. She wanted to offer Gail more and show her there were many ways to share. She was aware Jesse only shared with Gail in one way. It wasn't a bad way, but there were other ways.
"Or you can just take them off…." Savannah said. "We can cuddle. I don't want to be alone right now. You can help keep me warm."
Gail knew Cammy was away. She wondered why Savannah didn't seek out John. They all knew it was going to happen. She still didn't understand why Savannah didn't enter John's room earlier. It wasn't because Savannah noticed she watched her. The moment Savannah first hesitated was the moment she wasn't going to enter, no matter how long she stood there.
She didn't want to miss the current opportunity. Just to be near Savannah was beautiful. She stripped off her clothes. She hesitated a moment before she took her bra off.
Savannah sat on the bed and watched her. She marveled at Gail's nearly nude figure and her voluptuous breasts. They really were gigantic. She started to lie down. She wanted to offer Gail a little bit more.
"I don't want to wrinkle my dress." Savannah said as she quickly slipped it off.
Savannah watched as Gail's eyes opened wide when she saw she was completely naked.
She made a point of laying the dress next to her bed clothes and returned to the bed naked. The act indicated she would remain naked.
"You can lie next to me so I won't feel cold." Savannah said. "You'll be more comfortable without your underwear."
Gail stripped them off.
Savannah could see how compact Gail was down there.
"You're very beautiful." Savannah said. "I no longer am."
Gail took in Savannah's nude form. All she could see was beauty.
"I've never seen anything more beautiful in my existence." Gail said.
Savannah held out her arm to motion for Gail to join her.
"Lie next to me. I'd like you to hold me." Savannah said.
Gail climbed in next to Savannah.
Savannah turned and held Gail close.
Gail experienced feelings and emotions she never felt before. It was the most sexual, 'non sexual', experience she ever shared. Savannah was soon asleep in her arms. It was so beautiful to just feel and hold Savannah. Savannah was so warm. She could feel her heart beat. She was unsure what was happening, but she never wanted it to stop. Savannah was truly the 'Chosen One'.
It was all so different from Jesse, and even Vanna. Savannah showed her she possessed feelings deeper than she knew she possessed. She knew Savannah wanted to show her love and sex weren't the same thing, even if love was often expressed through sex. She knew for some the sex was the love, not necessarily the person involved.
It was the 'closeness' of two individuals, two 'people'.
Savannah wanted to show and allow Gail to grow and expand from where she was stuck at. She didn't think it was Jesse's fault, because Jesse carried a lot of baggage in her mind. It was understandable with all the things which happened to her growing up in her future. Jesse needed to isolate her feelings in order to survive. She needed to bury them and pretend they didn't exist. The sex she was in control of was what she learned to hide behind. Her escape from the Hell of reality became a sexual climax. It was true of all the girls from the future. It was the only time they could escape from the horror, even if it was just for a moment at a time. It was one of the reasons why all of the females shared with each other whenever they could. It was an escape for all of them.
Cammy waited in the darkness in silence. She didn't feel upset at anyone specifically. She didn't like what the future held. She knew the future didn't belong to her. She also knew the future wasn't written in stone. It was fluid and changeable.
She wanted to give Savannah the opportunity to be with John. Cameron set the stage earlier at the site of the battle when she literally pushed them together. She still felt guilty about trying to trick John into thinking she was Savannah in a dark bedroom once. It almost worked until Savannah and Cameron caught her. She was 'Cameron' too, even if she was a clone. Her chassis was identical as well as apparently her desires were too. Maybe Cameron didn't do as good of a job as she thought she did in removing the desire she felt for John from her chip.
Cammy knew Savannah. She believed Savannah would feel obligated to keep her promises to Cameron, even if she made the promises since she was a child, a girl. Now Savannah was a teenager who already gave birth to two children and was now pregnant with a third. At least this time it wasn't her own child, but really Vanna's.
She was aware how much it pained Savannah to give her children to 'herself'. It was still all Cameron's fault somehow. She didn't like the way Cameron tried to pin it on her by saying it happened under her watch the first time. She only facilitated what Savannah wanted to do. Cameron was the one who originally put the idea into Savannah's head, not her. She didn't like being blamed for Cameron's own shortcomings and failures. Just because she was a clone of Cameron didn't mean she was a failure too.
"Cammy, we have movement." Steve said.
Cammy blinked her eyes a couple of times. She needed to get her head back in the game. She focused on the target area. She was there to do a job and protect Savannah by doing it. She was there to make sure Savannah wasn't. She felt Savannah needed to do way too much. It was all Cameron's fault as far as she was concerned.
"I see it." Cammy said. "It is near the third packing shed."
Steve believed they held the total element of surprise. There was no outward indication of any fortification on the part of the enemy.
"I don't think they know they were followed." Steve said. "John Henry was very careful."
Cammy was aware the 'game' could be played a little bit more complicated sometimes. She hoped now wasn't one of them.
"Maybe they did and we are being stalked right now." Cammy said.
Steve immediately began to scan in all directions as he looked for any infiltrators. None were spotted. There was no threat he could detect.
"You don't seem very concerned." Steve said.
Cammy was still ticked off at Cameron right now. Her future looked bleak no matter what happened going forward. The eventual outcome would be the same.
"I'm not." Cammy said. "I'll accept termination when it comes."
Cammy would rather face termination over replacement.
Steve thought maybe Cammy needed some perspective. There was a powerful Ally on her side.
"Savannah will not accept it." Steve said. "We'll all help her do what she wants done."
Cammy was pleased the male Terminators cared for Savannah as much as the female Terminators did. She didn't think the reasons were actually too much different either. She always expected Jesse to be with one of the male Terminators, but it never happened as far as she knew. The Metal girls were all forbidden from sexual relations with any male other than John. Cameron promised to personally publicly disfigure them before they were terminated if they ever violated her rule. Cameron was so warped and demented, it's probably exactly what she would do. They understood the rules. They were all supposed to save their virginity for John. She wanted to know more about how the male Terminators thought.
"You care about Savannah." Cammy said.
Steve, as well as the other Terminators, appreciated Savannah's personal touch.
"Yes." Steve said. "Savannah's made a point of working with all of us and asking what we want or would like. She's settled any problems we may have. Cameron is another one to do so. Savannah is as trusted as she is respected by all of the Terminators."
Cammy knew Cameron and Savannah supported each other.
"It's because they both care about everyone and everything." Cammy said. "Cameron's taken the burden of the fight on her own shoulders. Savannah has taken it upon herself to keep it balanced there for Cameron so it doesn't slip."
Steve felt great admiration and respect for both of them.
"They are like no others." Steve said. "I don't believe the Resistance could have made the progress it has without both of them."
Cammy wondered how John fit into the picture.
"What about John?" Cammy asked.
Steve answered too quickly.
"The General is our leader." Steve said.
Cammy smiled to herself at Steve's response. She wanted to see what else he would divulge.
"Has anyone else been by to see you or ask what you want?" Cammy asked.
Steve wasn't surprised at the other individual who took interest in their affairs, especially their personal affairs.
"Yes." Steve said. "Anna's brought Young Allison out to make the rounds. Holly or Hanna will accompany them. It is the 'Natural Order' establishing itself. You or Cameron always accompanies Savannah. Sometimes it's both of you. It's better protection for Savannah."
Cammy wasn't sure about the last part of his statement. It seemed to indicate Cameron and her should work closer together without so much friction.
She knew Young Allison wanted to learn and emulate Savannah in everything. She spotted the movement one more time.
"There it is again." Cammy said. "It's in the same spot."
Steve checked around them. He saw Cammy do so several times as well. He felt it was time for action.
"Do we call in a drone strike, or a Metal Strike Team?" Steve asked.
Cammy saw things a little differently at this point.
"What would Cameron do?" Cammy asked.
Steve already knew the answer.
"She would go down and investigate herself." Steve said. "She would want to know exactly what the enemy strength was and what they possessed."
When Steve looked over, he saw Cammy was already on her way down. He didn't have time to add Cameron would then attack the enemy by herself to eliminate the threat.
Closing monologue by Cameron:
Forbidden Fruit
You were warned of the forbidden fruit
Your weak character failed
You can't blame it
On anything drank or inhaled
It was you alone
Driven by lust and greed
That you touched another's life
Made them hurt and bleed
So much excitement
Such a divine thrill
The hunger consumed you
The adventure became the swill
The more you had
The more you wanted
Your vision was blinded
Those around you were affronted
In life's stark reality
You did nothing more than loot
Damaging many others forever
When you reached for the forbidden fruit
Nobody
