Chapter 669

They Made Her

Cameron made a stop at a local store and picked up a few supplies on her way to the Aerial Tramway. CamNet made sure everything was ready and waiting for her. She ordered no one else was to go up the mountain but her. Any additional personnel which became available were to track the other white vans, or back up the operation at the old packing house.

The anti-Metal group already received a few 'babysitters'. Cameron quietly left word anyone who departed from the canyon, would tell all they knew before they were terminated. It would most likely be a brutal death. Terminators beat the information out of people, except Sheila. She liked to use more persuasive methods. She also believed there should be some type of 'punishment' before the individual's termination if they were involved in human trafficking, especially the sex trade. A simple termination wasn't enough for those individuals. It was based on the fact her 'Neural Interface' was shared with Jesse.

Cameron headed for the road leading up to the aerial cable car. As she went up the twisty road headed for the base station, she spotted the header station at the top and the snow on the mountains around it. She knew it was going to be cold for Jesse and Savannah. The thinner air at nearly two miles up would tax the girls too. She was very worried about Savannah and her current 'condition'.

She parked in a lower level parking lot on the hill. She wore her vest under a white coat and carried a supply of extra magazines and Thermite grenades in a backpack. Her M4 was also inside in two halves. She passed the other SUVs from their group on the way up. She gave each of them a brief visual examination. Everything looked in order on the Resistance SUVs. There were no signs of anyone tampering with anything. She looked over the white vans parked there. She also passed by the vehicle with the terminated thief in the trunk. Everything was as Gail described it to her. She didn't disagree with the decision to terminate the individual who continued to take other people's property. She may have let him off with a crushed hand which would be useless going forward. It was his mouth which did him in, along with his willingness not to repent.

Cameron neared the base station on foot. She took a moment to look at both sides of the structure before she entered. There was still a line of people waiting to board by their group number. She wouldn't be among them. There was a special VIP pass waiting for her at the ticket desk. She moved up along the side and headed for the front of the line. She was given priority boarding. John Henry arranged it for her.

The tram would close for taking passengers up for the day in a few hours. It would only bring people down for the rest of the night. It was the standard procedure of the normal operations. The purpose was to prevent any additional backpackers or campers from trying to find a place in the dark to spend the night. There was always the concern their nocturnal movements would attract some of the more dangerous wildlife.

She knew the most dangerous animal of all was already there. It was humans. The humans who chose to serve Skynet were even worse. There weren't very many animals which killed for sport, or just to kill. She watched some videos where lions would sometimes go after a hyena and then terminate it. Sometimes they just walked away and left it. She didn't believe she would have any trouble fighting a lion, a tiger, or a bear in hand to paw combat. She didn't believe she would have any trouble at all with a mountain lion. It was much smaller than the other animals she envisioned fighting.

Cameron looked around casually at the other passengers in the cable car. None appeared to be a threat. She knew it didn't mean they weren't. She looked at the construction of the cable car and any means of escape. There was a roof hatch in addition to the door. There wouldn't be any place to go once the cable car started its journey. The only thing to stop someone's fall was the ground. It would be very unforgiving.

There was a jolt and the cable car started to move. It picked up a little speed as soon as it cleared the base station. It moved a little slower than she would have liked. She thought it was more like an elevator moving horizontally at an angle, as opposed to straight up and down vertically. Both were hooked to a cable and traversed a set route.

Cameron watched the base station shrink below her as the cable car made its way up. The late afternoon view was still beautiful. She wished John and Savannah were there to see it with her. She would bring Young Allison up there herself for additional 'field training' when the snow was thicker. She hoped none of the infrastructure would be damaged by their 'visit'. She knew there was a good chance it would be. She wanted everything to be in top condition when she returned at a later date with Young Allison. She would try to prevent any damage to the header station or the base station.

There were no additional white van movements since the one they found with the dead driver. John Henry knocked out all communications on the mountain and area around the packing shed. If any of the Grays wanted to communicate with each other, it would have to be in person. They hoped to identify additional targets if they did.

Cameron listened to the people around her react to the ride up. She hoped Savannah enjoyed it as much as the other people seemed to. The ride up was a little different than she imagined it would be. She took stock of the cable car as it passed between each of the pylons and how much movement there seemed to be in the center section between them. She watched as the cables passed through each of the pylons which supported them. As they neared the top, the cable car slowed considerably. It continued its journey forward. It docked with a thump and a thud. She looked around the lodge once she arrived.

When she saw the food area, she wondered when Savannah may have last eaten. She knew Savannah pushed her body hard for her, FOR HER. Who was she but a machine? The thought bothered her a lot. She felt her hand glitch again as she thought about it and all such a special female did for her. Savannah was truly the 'Chosen One'. She did experience guilt, remorse, and regret, for everything she put Savannah through.

Maybe she was supposed to only be a machine, but her Skynet program allowed her to expand much more than to only be a simple robot. Savannah told her she viewed her as a 'mechanical human'. The description used to bother her somewhat but maybe it was true. She was aware the Metal girls did behave very much like human beings, even if they were mechanical in construction. She knew it included her as well. It seemed their sexual encounters were what assisted in their advancement.

She knew she needed to get Young Allison up to 'speed' to share the burden with Savannah. The fastest way to do it was to take her on a temporal mission. It's where she could be 'aged' in the past and returned to the present as an older and better trained individual. Young Allison made all the same promises to her Savannah made. Her hand still glitched as she thought of the 'problems' it would cause to do it. It was what needed to be done. She was aware everyone needed to understand SHE knew what was best for everyone. They surely all must know it by now.

Cameron looked quickly around the header station and the surrounding area. She checked both levels and noted where everything was at including the exits to the outside. She took a moment when she was on the upper level to stand by the cable as it came out of the overhang. She watched the cable car depart. There weren't too many patrons inside of it. She was satisfied she would be able to pursue anyone around the header station if it became necessary. It was time to head to the target area. She was confident she possessed first-hand knowledge of everything that was at and around the upper station before she headed out and up the mountain.

She was soon on the trail headed to the summit. There were a multitude of thoughts which crossed her mind. Maybe Young Jesse and Claire could do more for her. No. They weren't part of the 'Natural Order', they were backups. She didn't want to think about what IT would mean if Claire and Young Jesse were NEEDED for John. There was always Summer too.

There was a constant irritation in her ear. Why didn't it go away?

She was sure Summer was the best and the brightest of them all. Summer's potential seemed unlimited.

Cameron was somewhat startled when she realized the irritation in her ear was John's voice. No wonder it was irritating. Now what?

"…Cameron…?" John asked.

Cameron looked around. She was in the middle of nowhere on the mountain side. She was currently on a mission on the side of the mountain headed towards the top where there was a bunker full of Grays, and a 'Metal Bitch'. There was also a female detainee who was being sexually abused. It was unknown if she was still alive at this point. Past practice would indicate she would have already been terminated by the abuse of the Grays.

Right now she needed to deal with John. She wondered if she missed something since she was lost deep in thought. She decided to give her normal response.

"I'm fine." Cameron said.

John Henry wasn't convinced of it, and neither was John.

"Are you sure?" John Henry asked. "We've been trying to contact you for seven minutes and twelve seconds."

John was so worried about the lack of communication with Cameron, he was going to split up one of the teams already up on the mountain to go look for her. It would have delayed everything going forward if he would have.

"I was about ready to send Gail back down to see what happened to you." John said.

Cameron looked around. Nobody was around her. She needed to think up a quick excuse. Not all of it was an excuse either.

"There were a lot of people around me." Cameron said. "I didn't want to draw any attention. They might have thought I was talking to myself. Everyone knows only crazy people talk to themselves. It's in addition to the people who always look at me several times anyway. I find it very disturbing at times because they want to look at me. I look like any other female. We all have the same physical attributes. I don't see what the big deal is."

John was aware what the 'big deal' was. It was because Cameron was beautiful. She was beautiful to both men and women and other machines as well. Her beauty knew no bounds. Unlike human beauty, it wasn't transitory either. She could continue to look like a teenager until her power still ran out or she was terminated. He wanted to give her a positive reminder and say what he truly felt.

"It's because you look Tight and your face is so pretty." John said. "You're beautiful no matter how it's looked at.

Cameron wasn't sure it was how her beauty should be judged. It shouldn't be based on her appearance. Her experience and interaction with Savannah indicated true beauty wasn't on the outside. It was located on the inside of a person. She may not be a person technically, but she was to Savannah. She wondered if she was to John or any of the others. She was pretty sure if her physical appearance was different than it currently was, John wouldn't be as interested in her as he thought he was. She knew his main interest in her chassis was her sheath and the female body parts it contained. They may not be 'real', but they were identical to those of a human female in their function as far as pleasure was concerned. It was their intended purpose so she could fool a target to get closer to them to control them, or terminate them.

She shared the DNA of Allison Young so her appearance wasn't her true appearance, but the appearance of the DNA donor. If she were to Resequence her the sheath with a different DNA, she would assume a different appearance in a relatively short amount of time. Her chassis and everything it contained would still be the same. She would still be the same individual, even if she looked different. She didn't see any reason why she couldn't switch chips with any of the other female Terminators, or male Terminators, for a few months at a time. They were all beautiful.

"Thank Allison for it. My beauty is her beauty." Cameron said. "Or thank Claire and Paul Young, they made her."

She marveled at a biological creature's ability to propagate themselves through reproduction. There were no nuts or bolts or electrical wires needed. They didn't need a power cell. They could create their own 'energy' to move their bodies through the food they consumed. Their bodies possessed the ability to create offspring. It was actually very amazing when she thought about it.

Cameron wondered what would happen if she went back in time and kept Paul and Claire from marrying…. She knew she could make sure Claire only stuck to females. It wouldn't matter what Claire's family said to her. She knew she could prevent her own creation this way. Why hadn't she thought of it sooner? If she became Claire's girlfriend and lover in the past, there would be no Allison Young. After watching the Metal girls with each other, as well as the human girls around the base, she would rather have a female lover than have her chassis used by a male, which seemed to be what normally happened. She was ready for some shared love instead of being a receptacle. She could also rescue Savannah on her own when she was an infant and raise herself along with Claire.

Wait.

If there was no Allison Young, Future Savannah would be the one sent in Future Allison's place. Why did she think about it now? She needed to focus. There were so many things which bothered her. It was because of the anti-Metal faction. They ruined her life twice already. She wasn't about to let them do it again.

At some point she realized Cammy was talking to her. She felt very confused and overwhelmed by everything right now. Maybe being alone on the side of the mountain wasn't the best place for her right now. There wasn't a whole lot she could do about it. It was where she was.

"What?" Cameron asked.

Cammy monitored the transmissions between the Command Center and Cameron. She was pretty sure Cameron experienced a problem of some type. She knew if she didn't go down to assist Cameron that Savannah would do it on her own. She wanted to make it sound like she would clue Cameron in on some of the details which already occurred.

"Cameron, I'm moving down to meet you." Cammy said. "I'll show you the Grays and anti-Metal personnel which have already been terminated. You might be able to identify some of them from your past adventures into the future, all of them."

Cameron wasn't sure why she needed to see them. Maybe Cammy might have some other information to disclose to her. Maybe it was something about the female detainee or the other two which were terminated. It could be something she didn't want Savannah or Jesse to hear or see.

"It will be fine." Cameron said. "We can link up where you want."

Cameron was worried she was going to glitch out if she kept thinking of all the other things.

Why now?

She knew it was because of the hated anti-Metal faction and how they ruined her life twice. She knew where there was a group of them at now and she wanted to make them all pay. She wanted to make them pay personally. They didn't like any Metal, so maybe she should give them a reason why not to like her as well.

If it wasn't for the Terminators assisting the Resistance, they would all be in work camps or terminated. She wondered how blind they could be to reality.

Earlier:

Jesse and Gail were off to the side of Savannah and Cammy.

Savannah followed Cameron's progress to the Aerial Tramway from her previous location and her erratic journey towards where they were at.

"Cameron's having trouble." Savannah said quietly to Cammy.

Cammy arrived at the same conclusion herself.

"It seems she is." Cammy said. "I don't know why. She hasn't been in combat of any type or any physical altercation where she could have been knocked around."

Savannah made a quick check of her gear. She made her mind up about what needed to be done.

"I need to go to her." Savannah said.

Cammy could see right away it was a bad idea on several different levels.

"It will be a lot more hiking for you. You must think of Vanna's baby." Cammy said. "You're already taxed by the altitude."

Savannah felt she pulled her own weight. She was able to hack anything put before her, no matter how tired or sore she was. She always did what was asked of her and more. It was all about determination.

"Have you ever heard me complain?" Savannah asked.

Cammy felt a glitch impulse with Savannah's response. She knew Savannah pushed herself way too hard and she didn't need to.

"No, you never do." Cammy said. "I've seen you past the point where others would have given up."

Savannah wanted to reiterate her love and commitment for Cameron. She knew it was a source of irritation for Cammy but she made it clear from the start where her true love was directed.

"I'll do what I have to for Cameron until I drop dead." Savannah said. "I love her. I'll die for her. I'll die with her. I LOVE HER."

Cammy felt another glitch impulse as she was reminded of what she already knew. She wasn't going to make Savannah stress herself out more right now.

"You stay with Gail and Jesse." Cammy said. "I'll go. Let me try to reach her again."

After the call was over, Cammy confirmed Savannah's fears.

"She's glitching…." Cammy said. "I can tell."

Savannah spotted Cammy glitch twice in the last few minutes as they carried out their discussion.

"Who would know better than you?" Savannah asked.

Cammy believed her answer spoke for itself.

"Nobody…." Cammy said and left.

Previously:

Cameron arranged for another crew of four Terminators to acquire parts for the helicopter. They arrive at the site of the Blackhawk with a new set of wiring 'borrowed' from a military base. They also obtained some other 'supplies' when they were there. With the two UH-1 helicopters at their disposal, Cameron wanted to properly equip them for action. Everyone at the temporary desert base was a little surprised when they arrived with all of their newly acquired equipment.

Cam looked over the new arrivals. She knew they were Cameron's Terminators. They all left a little something to be desired in their interactions with others.

"Don't tell me we're getting stuck with these stiffs." Cam said.

Hanna didn't care for them either, but she did like the weapons they brought with them for their helicopter. It wasn't just their helicopter either.

"It looks like it." Hanna said. "At least we have a couple of door guns now in case we need to go in for an extraction in a 'hot LZ'."

John Henry was notified by CamNet as to what the new arrivals brought. He talked it over with John and they decided on the best course of action going forward. It made sense to arm the other UH-1.

"Cam, I want you to replace Sheila." John said over the com. "She can come down and be armed as well. It will give her some defensive capability as well as offensive capability if it's needed."

Cam made a quick inspection of the Huey with Hanna. They both started flipping switches, the turbine fired and soon the rotor began to rotate.

When everything was ready, Cam lifted off. The helicopter produced noticeably more power with her most recent adjustment to the power plant.

Only two of Cameron's Terminators went with them. They would serve as door gunners if it was required. The other two stayed to wait for Sheila and Ally to arrive.

Sheila and Ally were notified about the change in plans. They would switch out places with Cam and return to the temporary desert base. The helicopter would be armed and they would receive two door gunners.

"It's about time we get some firepower added to this 'slick'." Sheila said. "I want to make sure we're able to 'reach out and touch someone', if we need to."

Ally was for it as well.

"At least we won't be a sitting duck any longer." Ally said.

They powered up after a quick check and lifted off. They passed Cam and Hanna in the air on the way up as they headed back down. Ally told Hanna where they were parked before.

Sheila and Ally arrived at the temporary desert base and were also fitted with a set of door guns. They saw they were going to have a couple of door gunners to go with them. They looked at each other and smiled. They decided they would mess with Cameron's Terminators a little bit, just for the fun of it.

"It looks like we get Pete and RePete as door gunners." Ally said. "Nice uniforms…."

Cameron's Terminators ignored her as they installed the guns. They currently wore military uniforms. They acquired them on their previous mission to obtain the spare parts for the Blackhawk, along with the additional automatic weapons and ammunition.

Sheila didn't care for the lack of a response. She viewed it as a snub from Cameron's Terminators. They dealt with them at Cameron's base a few times.

"We've seen them before." Sheila said. "They don't approve of us."

Ally was aware they observed them previously at Cameron's base. Most of Cameron's Terminators tried not to associate with anyone, especially them.

"It's because we know how to use our assets and they don't." Ally said. "Why don't we let them see what they're missing?"

Ally moved closer to kiss Sheila.

Cameron's Terminators turned to watch them.

CamNet came over their coms and told them to be ready for the mission and nothing else.

Sheila and Ally understood the warning from CamNet.

"It appears 'Big Sister' is watching." Sheila said.

Ally knew they were always being monitored, most of the time they didn't care.

"She's always watching." Ally said. "She doesn't know what she's missing."

Sheila liked to share with Ally, or any of the other females, where there was a security camera present. Sometimes she even set up her body cam to record what she did with another female. It was so CamNet and John Henry could watch her.

"I like her to watch." Sheila said. "I make sure she sees me. When she gets a chassis, she knows I'll be waiting for her and help her break it in properly."

Ally giggled.

"I'd like her to watch too." Ally said. "Maybe we can visit her and I'll let her plug into my chassis. She can experience what we do then. I'll even let her borrow it for a round with you. I'll simply be a spectator within myself."

Sheila didn't like the earlier snub, she wanted to put her own spin on possible events.

"Why don't you run some of your 'Future Allison programming'?" Sheila asked. "It will really spice things up."

Ally was a little upset about what happened to most of her 'Future Allison programming'.

"Cameron physically removed most of it from my chip." Ally said. "I didn't have a choice. She was going to make me submit to chip extraction if I didn't do what she told me to do. She said I didn't get authorization before I did it. Why should I need authorization about what happens with my own chip or my own chassis?"

Sheila thought it was a little extreme, even for Cameron. She did wonder however if Cameron was going to use the program on herself. She actually hoped she would because it would make Cameron a little more pliable to be with her and the other females.

"Has she installed it in herself?" Sheila asked.

Ally hadn't noticed any change in Cameron's usually negative demeanor.

"Since she's such a square, I doubt it, unless she has it firewalled." Ally said. "Who knows what goes on in the convoluted mess of her own mind?"

Sheila did think Cameron suffered from lack of her natural development. It seemed to be a self imposed restriction more than anything else.

"Cameron is 'L7'." Sheila said. "Savannah will break her in one day soon…."

Sheila wanted to reinforce her point. She held up the index finger and thumb of both of her hands to form an 'L' and a '7'. She put them together which formed a square.

One of Cameron's Terminators spoke for the first time.

"You two are to remain silent or face replacement." 'Pete' said.

Ally was offended by his intrusion.

"We heard the message the first time." Ally said. "From 'SquareNet'…."

Cameron's other Terminator now spoke for the first time.

"Then be ready for the mission." 'RePete' said.

Sheila wondered about what would happen if she took some action on her own.

"We are ready. We're sitting in the helicopter ready to go. What else is there to be ready for?" Sheila said as she touched her knife. "I can think of a few things I could do to them."

Ally laughed at the thought of Sheila doing it. She could actually picture it. None of the male Terminators were sexually active. She didn't think it would change anything if Sheila acted.

"Would it make a difference?" Ally asked.

Sheila laughed because she knew it wouldn't make a difference. They never used anything.

"I guess we could refer to them as Shorty and Stubby instead of Pete and RePete."

Pete and RePete both kept blank stares and said nothing further. Neither did the girls after a final warning from CamNet.

They both knew CamNet was always watching and listening to everyone. They knew Cameron was always in control.

All any of them could do was monitor what occurred with the others up on the mountain. They were all sure they would be called to action before the night was through.

Closing monologue by Cameron:

Do As You Say

Do what is necessary for your survival
It matters not if real or flirt
For what must be done
Will not damage or hurt

I am a realist
I am far away
I will do nothing
To stand in your way

I want you to be happy
To achieve a fulfilling life
Whether you are single
Or part of someone else's life

I am stuck and trapped
Prisoner of a promise
I will one day again fail
I wanted to be your goddess

Yes I may love
Care, worry, hope and feel
I do understand
You want what is real

I have what you want
You have what I need
So many applications
As through life we proceed

The only thing that HURT
Was when I was thrown away
Please do not abandon me
I'll do as you say

Nobody
