Chapter 709
It Is Still Wrong
The 'Metal Bitch' knew it was cat and mouse now. With an HK Track on either side of the building, she knew she wouldn't be able to go out through either side. The one she spotted appeared to be at the corner so I could cover the front and the east side. She heard the other one move along the side of the building to cover the other end and the west side.
She retreated back inside the third building with the empty containers. She noticed all the doors were open on them. She figured the 'Metal Whore' must have done it. It made her wonder how long she was nosing around their operation. It was long enough to call in others to assist her.
The 'Metal Bitch' peered around a corner of a container. She saw the 'Metal Whore' with some redhead Bitch. She thought it was the one she saw in the first building earlier. She wore a firefighter's outfit now. The strange part was, the 'Metal Whore' was back into her regular clothes again. WAIT. There were two of them! It finally dawned on her. This must be a bigger force than she first thought. There were two of the 'Metal Whore', and two of the redhead Bitch. What was happening?
The door on the north side of the building burst open. There was the 'twin' of the 'Metal Whore'. She came in with her firefighter's suit still on. There was another copy of the redhead Bitch too, but this one looked slightly older. What was this? What exactly was going on here?
The 'Metal Bitch' thought of making a run for it out the front. Suddenly, the front door burst open, and ANOTHER redhead Bitch entered with a big female. The redhead Bitch was the one she saw earlier in the first building. There were two of the 'Metal Whore' and three of the redhead Bitch, plus the big female Bitch now. They didn't all look to be Metal, but she knew the big Bitch was. She wore a firefighter's outfit as well. Even with it on, she could tell she packed a giant set of knockers. She really disliked this group, whoever they were. It made her wonder why all the other female Terminators looked better than she did.
When she went out in the company of others, and there were human females around her, everyone always looked at the human females. She wondered if she should have shown a little more sheath material. There wasn't a whole lot there to show on her sheath. She noticed most overweight men were bigger than she was in the same area. She believed they should be required to wear some type of top to cover themselves, if females were required to do the same.
She didn't understand it was because she didn't smile, unless the mission required it. There was usually a blank look on her face. There was nothing appealing about someone who looked like the 'lights were on, but no one was home'.
She needed to think things through some. If she could figure out what was going on and who was in charge, maybe it would give her an advantage. Maybe the slightly older looking redhead Bitch wasn't Metal. It's where she would attack to make a break for it, if the opportunity arose. The other two redhead Bitches were identical. They were both young looking.
She figured it was something humans would do. They would try to make a younger version of themselves. If she had her way, none of the humans would have to worry about getting old or aging. They'd all be dead. As it was, she could see how time ravaged the human body. It took something already pathetic and weak and made it even more pathetic and weaker. It also made it uglier. Maybe it was why Skynet killed all the humans over the age of thirty. They didn't do well in the work camps in accomplishing the tasks.
Humans were clearly an inferior species. She was glad machines would replace them. She was aware of newer models of Terminators. There were several test examples constructed. From what she understood, the Liquid Metal Terminators were very rebellious. She wondered if they were like humans. Skynet should only build machines like her series.
She needed to rethink her options for evasion. There didn't seem to be too many. She knew she needed to avoid getting in a hand to hand fight with a group of other Terminators. It was time to try and avoid them. There were too many to fight. They were all armed and they all appeared to carry some type of electronic device. It was most likely a Taser of some sort. They looked different. What they did, didn't appear new to them. It seemed they did this quite a bit as a group, doing exactly what they were doing.
It made her wonder if it was part of the Resistance they heard rumors about which existed in the past. It was supposed to have been wiped out in its infancy several times. It could be they were from another Skynet group. She knew there were other Skynet's out there. They were from alternate futures or from further futures. Whatever this group was, they appeared to know what they were doing and they seemed to like to have a lot of Terminators who looked the same. She wondered if they were the same Terminators from different futures who got together, or if they were clones.
What would she do if she came across another Terminator who looked like her? Most likely she would be hostile towards her. She could scrub her chip and copy her program onto it. It would create a clone of her. How would things work if there were two of her and they were identical? She knew each one of them would want to be the one in charge, the same way the different versions of Skynet all wanted to be in charge. It was bound to create a problem.
She wondered how the clones of the other group operated in conjunction with each other. It was possible they all ran completely different programs rather than the individual they were cloned after. Right now she needed to think about survival. She could think about future events when she was away from the area.
Savannah gave Cameron two extra magazines for her M4. Cameron quickly changed the half full one Savannah gave her with her M4. Savannah changed the half fired one in Gail's M4 after Cameron changed hers.
Savannah and Cameron both checked their Tasers.
Cameron was irritated by the 'Metal Bitch'. She didn't think she was armed very well, but it didn't really matter because she was a Terminator. She knew she was dangerous without any visible weapon because she was a weapon. What worried her most was the 'Metal Bitch' might figure out Savannah was human and concentrate her attack on her. She would think it would be the easiest individual to take a weapon from.
"I don't think the 'Metal Bitch' has anything more than a pistol." Cameron said. "When I see her, I'll advance on her. You're not to engage her. If she sees everyone else is a Terminator except you, she will focus her attention on you."
Savannah noted Cameron's apprehension. It seemed to be a little more pronounced than it normally was when Cameron dealt with the enemy. She wanted to remind Cameron she wasn't the only one vulnerable to a Terminator attack.
"She can still damage you." Savannah said. "We can use caution. We'll have her in a short time, one way or another. We have a larger force which is mostly Terminators. We have the advantage."
Savannah was a little concerned about Cameron's worry. It would apply to Sarah as well. Sarah's last reported position was outside of the building with Holly. They were on the north side. Maybe it would be better if she remained there and didn't enter the building. She thought the ever changing situation would dictate whatever would happen.
Cameron didn't want to mess up her face for her upcoming 'temporal mission'. She wanted Savannah away from danger until she could deliver Vanna's baby for her. She knew she needed to grab the 'Metal Bitch' and bring her down. It still bothered her because the 'Metal Bitch' wanted to mess up her face with acid and turn her into a 'Metal Whore' for the Grays.
Maybe the reason why it bothered her was because she believed she may have been a 'Metal Whore' for the Resistance when she was first captured. Some referred to her as 'Connor's Metal Whore'. Maybe it was just a derogatory way for those who didn't like her to refer to her. She still didn't know what the truth was. There was no evidence to indicate it ever was the case, but the thought still remained in her mind for some reason. She needed to refocus. She didn't want to dwell on those thoughts right now when she was hunting an elusive adversary.
Hanna went down the back side of one row of containers from the north side. Cammy went down the front side from the north side. Anna went up the back side from the south end of the other row of containers, while Gail came up the front side. Cammy and Gail would meet in the center.
Cameron and Savannah were in the middle at the front. So far no one was able to spot the 'Metal Bitch'. The reports from outside indicated the 'Metal Bitch' hadn't left the structure, at least at ground level. There could be other ways out below ground. She proved to be very elusive. The 'Metal Bitch' would know the layout of every building and the entire compound. There could be many hidden things she was aware of, which they weren't. If she was in some tunnel or escape route, they may have already lost her.
The thought the 'Metal Bitch' may have escaped bothered Cameron greatly. The 'Metal Bitch' was able to get a good look at her and Savannah, and the other Terminators. If she was able to contact some version of Skynet, she would be able to upload their images. If it happened, it would most likely put targets on their human counterpart's backs at some point somewhere. There was just something about the 'Metal Bitch' which rubbed her the wrong way.
Earlier:
Ally and Sheila went to the designated area CamNet selected for them. They obtained the Jet Ranger and flew to where Cam was at and picked her up. They were currently headed to the target area.
Sheila pushed the helicopter hard.
Ally didn't like all the time which passed. She thought they were going to be irrelevant by the time they arrived.
"Can't this thing fly any faster?" Ally asked.
Sheila already pushed the Jet Ranger past the safety zone.
"I have it operating above recommended tolerances right now." Sheila said. "Look, everything is at the redline."
Ally looked a little disappointed. She let it be known she wasn't happy.
"We might still make the 'after party' event." Ally said.
Sheila knew there wasn't much she could do other than what she was already doing. She decided to make light of Ally's comment.
"It's when all the action happens anyway." Sheila said. "I'm going to hold you to your earlier offer."
Ally liked to joke around with Sheila.
"We can let Cam fly and start our own party now. We still have a half hour before we arrive anyway." Ally said. "I can 'ring your bell' a few times during the flight, if you 'ring' mine first."
It sounded good to Sheila. It would make productive use of their time and take her mind off the upcoming battle. It would also make her forget about the damage to her face for a while.
Cam could see the Metal girls were distracted. It was never a good place to be before going into battle. She did understand the way Sheila felt though with the damage to her face. She knew Ally didn't want Sheila to worry about it.
"Stay focused." Cam said. "Things will be wrapped up when we arrive. There could be further action which might develop later on. We just don't know."
Sheila didn't want Cam to get uptight. She wanted to offer her something as well.
"Relax, there's plenty here for both of you." Sheila said. "I plan to make the rounds with all of the girls."
Ally made a face and laughed.
"What else is new?" Ally said. "You do anyway."
Sheila and Ally shared a loving look.
"When someone has an 'itch', someone needs to 'scratch it'." Sheila said. "You'll be my dessert, like always."
Cam shot them a dirty look but didn't comment further. It was clear she was upset.
Sheila and Ally could tell Cam was in no mood for joking around. The 'Cameron' in her was really showing right now. They could tell she was angry at them.
Sheila almost said she wished Cammy was with them instead of Cam. She knew Cammy wasn't as tightly wound as Cameron and Cam were. It was probably because of Savannah's influence on her most of the time. Her time with Cammy also seemed to alter her some more. Cammy was special to her now.
She decided not to tell Ally the real dessert was Cammy. It was just like 'Cameron', except Cammy was more 'alive' and vibrant than Cameron could ever be. It might change once Cameron was finally with Savannah and then Young Allison. The 'Natural Order' couldn't be stopped.
The Command Center received good news from the team on their way to the old steel mill.
"We've appropriated five more big rigs." John Henry said.
Based on what they took out of the old newspaper plant, John didn't know if it was a sufficient quantity of trucks.
"Is it enough?" John asked.
John Henry knew some of the HK equipment was still in trucks in one of the buildings. All they would need were more drivers. They seemed to have a sufficient quantity of those already.
"Yes, unless we find more stuff somewhere else there." John Henry said. "Based on what the teams there have reported, we should have it covered. There's no assembly line there, so there's no machinery to confiscate."
John was concerned about the time factor. Like at the old newspaper plant he knew there was only a certain amount of time before the enemy would be able to mount a response if they were going to do it. The sooner they were able to clear out, the less was the chance they could get hit.
"How long will it take to load once they are there?" John asked. "I make it at about an hour."
John Henry knew the Terminators on the ground would have everything ready to go for the big rigs when they arrived. They would be able to quickly load each trailer and send it on its way.
"I think it's right." John Henry said. "With the ones on the way and the ones already there, we will have twelve big rigs full of HK Tracks and HK drones. There appears to be only damage to a few of them."
John was specifically worried about one issue. He was a little surprised when he received a call from his mother about it.
"I want the fire trucks returned." John said. "My mom called me about it. I hope none of them were damaged or have bullet holes in them."
John Henry didn't think it would be an issue. Both Cameron and Savannah indicated they would make sure the trucks would be replaced if they were damaged or destroyed.
"They seem undamaged from all the reports." John Henry said. "Savannah has already backed Sarah's plan to make sure everything is restored to its original condition. We both know with Savannah on it, it's going to happen."
John liked it when both Savannah and his mother each drove one of the fire trucks into the location once the gate was opened. He knew his mother possessed experience driving larger trucks, he wasn't so sure about Savannah. He remembered his earlier troubles and grinding the gears before when he was younger.
"Good." John said. "I'm surprised Savannah could drive one."
John Henry doubted John was up on current events related to Savannah and her training. It was quite extensive at this point in multiple categories. He figured John would be even more surprised to find out Young Allison wasn't much further behind Savannah at a much younger age. Cameron accelerated all of Young Allison's training.
"Cameron's taught Savannah how to operate a wide range of vehicles, even aircraft." John Henry said.
John quickly looked over at John Henry. He was surprised to hear it.
"Savannah can fly?" John asked. "I'm impressed. I didn't know it."
John Henry knew Cameron went flying with Young Allison as well. He was aware Cameron was going to give Savannah advanced flying instructions.
"Cameron is ready to have Savannah fly the manned drone." John Henry said.
John was a little worried about it. He knew a Terminator could fly it. He just didn't know how well a human would be able to do. He understood the aerodynamic capabilities of normal aircraft and the principles of lift. With an HK drone, none of those principles applied. It was all a matter of control. The bottom line was, there was less room for error.
"Is it safe?" John asked.
John Henry believed Savannah was more than capable to follow the instructions and learn how to properly fly the manned drone.
"Yes, with the proper instruction and training it is safe." John Henry said.
John Henry glanced over at John and could see he was thinking about something. He began to wonder how much deflection he was going to have to use to prevent Cameron from getting in trouble.
John wondered how extensive Cameron's training was with the others.
"I hate to ask this, but has Cameron started all this stuff with Young Allison?" John asked.
John Henry hoped a diplomatic answer would suffice.
"I think you already know the answer." John Henry said. "Your question is the answer. Young Allison with her extra years of training and constant control by Terminators will be the human version of Cameron, or as close as it is possible to be. Young Allison will be able to do everything Savannah has done at an earlier age."
John hoped it didn't include having children. He knew it was one thing Savannah said she would do if she could do things over again. He figured it was the first thing Cameron would make Young Allison do. He didn't agree with it, but if Cameron was going to do it, he would make an exception and ask to deliver what she would need to have a child, personally.
He actually wanted her virginity more than he did Savannah's. He at least hoped to be able to tell it really was her 'first time' when they were together. He was aware for Savannah it was merely a technicality after two children. It would still be her 'first' experience with a male. He thought it's what should matter.
It still didn't sit well with him how Cameron took control of other people's lives and determined what they would and wouldn't do, and who they would and wouldn't be with. There was just something wrong with all of it. He probably would be even more upset about it, if he knew the direction Cameron steered all the girl's sexual lives, and what she picked would be the choice for them going forward. It also included Summer and his sister Jan.
"Cameron has stolen Young Allison's life from her." John said.
John Henry thought John should be pleased about it. He was the one who would benefit the most from all of Cameron's manipulation.
"If she actually has, she's given it to you." John Henry said. "It's for you she is doing it, and the future."
John did want to be with Young Allison and Savannah. It would be a lie to say he didn't want it. He believed it should be their choice without any type of coercion or manipulation. If it was really their choice, and not something they thought or believed they needed to do, it would make a difference. It would make him feel better if nothing else. It was the main reason why he resisted everything Cameron tried to push down his throat. He really wanted the girls from the future, and the present, to have a choice, their own choice. It still didn't sit quite well with him, regardless of the fact he was the beneficiary.
"It is still wrong." John said.
John knew even if it's what Future John programmed into Cameron, it was still wrong. He wondered how long it would be until it was pointed out to him. It always seemed to come back to him. He was the one who always got blamed for what Future John did in the future. It wasn't actually him. The future was still in the future for him.
It made him think it was the way Riley was treated because of Future Riley. He really felt she got the cold shoulder from everyone. Cameron seemed to be the one who reached out to her the most, as strange as it was.
John Henry really didn't think John should dwell on it or make a big deal about it. Everything which was going to happen, was already predetermined and inevitable. It seemed to be something Cameron would make sure of.
"To survive and thrive after Judgment Day will be a blessing and the fruit of hard work. Savannah and Young Allison have risen to meet the challenge." John Henry said. "John, you know Savannah is special. Young Allison will be as well, maybe more so."
John responded a little more sarcastically than he originally intended. He saw it all as Cameron's doing and manipulation.
"They're both the 'Chosen Ones'." John said. "Chosen by Cameron…."
John Henry previously refrained from correcting John because he knew it always upset him. However he didn't feel Cameron should be blamed for something which wasn't of her origin. She may be the tool used to carry out those plans. She wasn't the one who made them.
"John, it was you who chose them - Future John." John Henry said. "Cameron's only doing what you programmed her to do."
There it is. John knew it was going to come up. It always did. He knew his mother sometimes referred to people as a jackass. He couldn't help but think Future John was a jackass. Whatever Future John did was pointed out to him. He felt he was entitled to his opinion a future John as well.
"Sometimes I hate Future John." John said.
John Henry tilted his head slightly.
"Everyone sacrifices for John Connor." John Henry said.
John made a face and shook his head side to side.
"I knew it was coming next." John said.
John Henry knew of the multiple abuse Vanna and Jesse endured. There were only a few Allison needed to experience. The girls from this timeline would never suffer those same fates. They would never be touched by anyone they didn't want to be touched by. It was something Cameron programmed and drilled into EVERY Terminator. Savannah and Young Allison would be the last ones standing. Every Terminator would fall before they let harm come to the 'Chosen Ones'. They would try to protect John too.
He thought a little further about his thoughts. He wasn't really sure even Future John could be blamed for selecting the 'Chosen Ones'. From what he observed, unless the female was forced to do something against her will, she was actually the one who chose who her partner would be, or who she would allow to be with her. Maybe it was actually Future Allison who chose Future John.
John Henry tilted his head slightly the more he thought about it.
Cameron and her team all moved in as they searched for the 'Metal Bitch'. She was very elusive. They couldn't find her. With multiple Terminators looking for her in an enclosed area, it shouldn't be an impossibility.
Savannah looked at Cameron when she spoke.
"She's good." Savannah said. "She reminds me of you."
Cameron was already highly irritated with the 'Metal Bitch'. After what Savannah said, it upset her even more.
"Now I really HATE her." Cameron said.
Savannah wondered if Cameron actually referred to her own self hatred which made it even more intense for the 'Metal Bitch'. She didn't think now was the time to get into it. She worked very hard to change Cameron's attitude about herself over the years. She wasn't really sure how successful she was at times. Whenever Cameron thought about things from the past, it was like they just happened to her.
Cammy teamed up with Savannah. Cameron climbed on top of the containers for a better look around. They still couldn't find the 'Metal Bitch'.
Cameron checked with the teams outside. They all verified she hadn't left the building at ground level.
Savannah didn't think there were too many other choices if the 'Metal Bitch' didn't leave at ground level from the building. It would mean there needed to be a subterranean exit.
"Look for something in the floor." Savannah said. "Like where I hid one time, in some kind of access trough or utility trench. There could be all types of similar things in the old buildings, like the one we're in."
Cameron moved from container to container along the tops of them.
The Metal girls looked around them.
"I don't see anything." Cammy said.
Hanna came up empty again.
"I don't either." Hanna said.
Savannah, Anna, and Gail all gave the same report.
Cameron was thoroughly frustrated and angered after the latest report they didn't have a clue where the 'Metal Bitch' was.
"The 'Metal Bitch' is still in here." Cameron said. "We're not leaving without her."
Cameron thought about what Savannah pointed out about the trench in the floor. Cammy and her were up in the rafters on the same mission. It was the mission where they encountered three HK Tracks. It left only one place the 'Metal Bitch' could be.
Cameron looked up.
CamNet was all business now and understood Young Allison's fears and concerns for Cameron and Savannah. They were her fears and concerns as well. She didn't want her personal interaction to interfere with Young Allison's ability to do her job. Based on her experience from Cameron, she knew it was all going to come back and bite her at some point. The question was how hard would the bite be?
Young Allison was now totally focused. She worked with CamNet to follow the operation. It was the first time she did it alone. She was worried about Savannah and Cameron, as well as everyone else.
Her mother came by several times to check on her. Each time she told her mother to go back so she could comfort and distract Jan. It was Jan's mother who was out there for Savannah. She also asked her to keep watch over Allison and Summer. She was worried about both of them as well. She felt she was both mean and rude to Allison earlier. It wasn't how she would want to be treated by anyone, especially herself.
Claire didn't want to argue with her. She could see Young Allison worked very hard with the computers. She left to tend to the girls.
"CamNet, I want one of the Terminators to come through the tunnel from the Detail house and check Allison." Young Allison said. "I'm worried about her."
There was an unusually long pause before CamNet responded.
"It will break protocol." CamNet responded.
If Young Allison learned anything from Cameron, it was she didn't always play by the rule book.
"I'm aware of it." Young Allison said. "I want it done anyway. I want it done now."
Young Allison touched her hand to her touch screen and a 'hand' appeared under hers. She wanted to remind CamNet 'work' shouldn't interfere with their personal affairs.
"Alert the others someone is on the way." CamNet said.
Young Allison went and told them a Terminator would come through the tunnel. She took her Taser out and waited by a monitor to see who it was. It was Ken. She moved into a gap and watched as two bunker doors opened and closed behind Ken. He passed by her without detecting her.
"Please check on Allison." Young Allison said.
Ken turned around quickly. He was startled by her appearance behind him. He noted the Taser in her hand. It was still held ready.
"Affirmative…." Ken said.
He moved over to where Allison was to scan her.
Allison felt a little flustered.
"Oh, brother…." Allison said. "It's bad enough when the females check me. Maybe I should offer to let him 'cop a feel' while he's at it."
Claire couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to be with a male Terminator with Allison's statement. She would let him do a lot more than 'cop a feel'. She would like to see if he would be able to provide her with a 'finish', unlike any human male she was ever with. She was worried maybe something was wrong with her. She quickly pushed the thoughts from her mind. Females could more than satisfy her and always provide her with a finish.
Young Allison was a little upset about Allison's remark. She felt it was necessary.
"You look ill." Young Allison said. "I'm worried about you."
Allison quickly glanced at the security monitor and then back at Young Allison.
"I think it was something else." Allison said.
What Allison observed between Young Allison and CamNet, and their interaction in the manner it was done, worried her very much.
Ken completed the scan of Allison.
"She checks out fine for now." Ken said.
Allison gave Ken a dirty look with the last part of his statement.
"Thank you." Young Allison said as she touched his cheek with her hand. "CamNet will call you again when you're needed."
Ken smiled at her and left.
Young Allison watched the bunker doors open and close again behind him. She checked on everyone herself and went back to the monitoring station. She was a little surprised with who was waiting for her and what was said.
"I thought you were going to kiss him on the cheek." CamNet said.
Young Alison found it somewhat amusing.
"What if I did?" Young Allison asked. "Would it bother you?"
CamNet was actually bothered by it very much. It seemed to bother her more than it should. She also needed to remember her place. She needed to remember everyone's place.
"Yes." CamNet said. "You're free to choose."
Young Allison felt something inside of her.
"So are you." Young Allison said. "You also know the only machine I've ever kissed is - YOU."
A set of lips appeared on her touch screen.
Young Allison looked around to make sure no one was watching her. She bent down and quickly kissed the lips on the touch screen. It was something which sent a rush of excitement through her every time she did it. She knew it wasn't something she should do. She couldn't really help herself. She wanted more. No. She needed more.
"Nobody can know about this." Young Allison said. "They won't understand."
CamNet hoped to keep it as such.
"Nobody does…." CamNet said. "It'll be our secret."
There was a set of beautiful brown eyes on her monitor. One of the eyes winked at her.
Young Allison was aware her heart pounded. She really wished she was alone in her bed right now like she normally was after her 'conversations and sharing' with CamNet. Her mind was always filled with thoughts of CamNet as she pleasured herself before she fell asleep. She never told CamNet what she did when she was alone.
It made her feel sad there was no way for CamNet to experience what she could. CamNet didn't have a body. She was a supercomputer.
Closing monologue by Cameron:
It Is Still Wrong
People see things they like
Some of them they're willing to take
How do you know who's real
How do you know who's a fake
Sometimes things go along smooth
Other times they don't
Some say there's things they can't do
Can't actually means won't
Shouldn't everything be
About the other one
Or is one of them only there
Just to have some fun
Time seems to breed contempt
As the other soon becomes mundane
Maybe nothing is actually different
One could have gone insane
Everyone must figure out
Where they actually belong
If one only wants to use
It is still wrong
Nobody
