Chapter 739

Did They

Cameron closed up on the two armed men. It was a chance and unexpected encounter at the motel where they rented a room and Avila Beach. She didn't know what was going on, or what it was about. All she knew was the men were Grays. She also needed to consider they might be part of the anti-Metal faction. Maybe they were going to the wrong room. They wouldn't be going far wherever they went.

There was more at play there than they knew. It was the closest motel to the power plant. There was a good chance it was all related to it. Maybe they tipped someone off at the surf shop, and they were after them. Whoever the individuals were, they looked like a 'clean up' crew. Both Skynet and the Resistance tried to keep their actions as low-key as possible to prevent further scrutiny into their operations by anyone.

She moved behind the two men. They still advanced on the room two doors over from their room. She could hear someone coming up behind her. She heard Bob's earlier directive for Ally to join her. She was with her now. They quickly formulated a plan as to how they should act so they could get closer to the targets. They acted like two happy sisters playing around. They laughed and giggled a little. They wanted to get close to the men, but they didn't want to seem like a threat. The men didn't feel threatened by them.

The two Grays looked around. They noticed the two 'sisters' in bikinis moving toward another room. They heard the girls laugh and listened to them talk about clothes. The men took out a card key and put it in the door. It indicated they knew how to get in the room. They might have some type of 'master card key'. The Resistance possessed similar items. It could be the room was something used specifically for whatever is about to happen as well. It would require further investigation. She would learn more once she was inside. The men both readied their weapons and went inside. They tried to keep them hidden from the two girls. They went to close the door behind them once they entered the room.

Cameron and Ally watched the men enter the room with drawn weapons. They wanted to find out what was going on inside before there were any terminations. If they waited until after the gun fire, the target would be terminated. They made their move before the door closed all the way.

They notified all the other teams they were making their move. More than likely there would be gunfire. It was unknown if it would be directed at them initially or not. It didn't matter. John and Savannah still needed to be protected. There could be errant bullets puncturing the walls in all directions. Drywall didn't do much to slow down a bullet.

Cameron was on it. She shoved the door open and went inside.

Ally was right behind her. Ally glanced back and saw Bob moving up to reinforce them. He was coming up fast. Evidently he went to full speed as soon as the men started to enter the room.

Cameron grabbed the two men and threw them to opposite sides of the room with a loud 'thud'. She didn't want them terminated until they could be questioned. Their weapons fell to the floor as they impacted forcefully into the walls.

There was a couple on the bed. The female was on top of the male. She appeared to be in control. It also seemed she enjoyed what she did. It was clear she was skilled at it. The action stopped as the two on the bed looked over in disbelief. The female stopped moving but was still on the man. She could see the couple was still 'connected'.

Cameron and Ally each grabbed one of the men and made sure they were out. They would try to question them if no shots were fired. Ally moved to the window in the back. She knew there were two armed men waiting there. They may have been alerted by the crashing of the two bodies into the walls. They still didn't know what direction things were headed yet. They didn't know if there was a reserve force or who else was involved in whatever it was.

Seconds ago:

Sheila monitored the low level transmission from Cameron as to what was going on in front of her. It was clear events were about to escalate. She was in a good position to act at the rear of the motel. She was almost up to the two men in the back. She looked up with a startled expression on her face as her top dropped off to her side. She now held it in her left hand by her side. Both men seemed transfixed at seeing her near naked form and her nipple rings. It was where their vision was now concentrated. She learned a long time ago it was impossible for anyone not to look at her exposed breasts with the nipple rings. It didn't matter if they were male or female. They all looked. It wasn't something most people saw every day, especially right in front of them.

"What do we have here?" The first Gray asked.

The second Gray leered at Sheila as he ogled her.

"I don't know." The second Gray said. "I think we're about to get acquainted a little better."

Sheila continued to close the distance between them.

The first Gray laughed.

"I can certainly say it's a nice view." The first Gray said.

There was a loud 'thud' on the inside of the wall next to them. The men both turned back in the direction of the sound. They raised their weapons. It was what was inside of the room they were there for. Now they were distracted.

Sheila was able to move close enough to be in Taser range. She wanted to bring them down now.

"Nothing's for free, fellas." Sheila said. "Everything has a price."

Sheila fired her Taser twice and both men went down. She continued her approach towards them. She was still topless as she did.

"There are two down in the back." Sheila said. "Both of the targets in the alley have been Tasered and neutralized."

Ally appeared at the back window. She slid it open and popped the screen off.

Sheila tossed both men inside, along with their weapons. She climbed up inside after them. She put the screen on and closed the window. She then closed the drape. She put her top back on.

Ally drug both men over next to the other two Cameron and her took down.

Sheila noted the two naked people who coward on the bed. She could see the couple was still 'connected' with the female on top.

"Did I get here too late?" Sheila asked as she looked at them.

Ally glanced back at the bed.

"It looks like a couple of ruined finishes to me." Ally said.

Sheila saw the female was young and beautiful as she 'eye balled' her.

"Maybe I got here just in time." Sheila said as she winked at the female.

It seemed to make her cower even more.

Cameron continued to monitor the front door to see if there was any follow up action to the room invasion. Bob was almost to the door. Gail reported no change on the street. Cammy indicated there was no further movement on the side street or in the alley behind the room.

It was at this point where the male and female were away from each other. It was clear the male's excitement was replaced with fear. He was obviously 'done' for now.

Bob arrived at the door. Cameron let him in. She felt the room was secure enough now with three Terminators inside. Bob was armed with his Taser as well as his M9. Sheila still possessed Cammy's Taser with two shots left in it. Cammy was still at the intersection of the alley in the side street. She was armed with her Glock. They also possessed the weapons the men carried into the room. They would be able to put up a defensive fight if it became necessary. She needed to check on John and Savannah.

"Find out what is going on here. I want some answers." Cameron said and left.

Cameron was worried about the nature and scope of the attack. She realized if the Grays would have arrived two rooms over, it would be John and Savannah on the bed. She briefly wondered if Savannah would have tried to be on the top for their 'first time'. No. She didn't think so. She knew the majority of females were usually on their back. A few were on top, fewer were on their knees for their first experience with a male. She knew she needed to refocus and stay with what was happening. The only trouble so far was, they didn't have any idea what was happening. They were in the middle of something. They didn't know what. She let John and Savannah know she was on her way.

Seconds ago:

Savannah still kept watch with what happened outside the motel room from her vantage point in the corner of the window. She watched the two men enter the room with Cameron and Ally right behind them. There was a little vibration and 'thud' sound which followed Cameron and Ally's entry into the room. Bob arrived a few seconds later.

A short time afterward, Cameron exited the room and headed towards where they were.

"Savannah, I'll be there in a few seconds." Cameron said.

Savannah took another look around. She glanced back at John.

"Cameron's coming." Savannah said.

She still held her Glock and Taser at the ready. She didn't know what was going on either.

John was ready too. He was down on the floor behind the bed for whatever cover it would provide if necessary.

"I heard." John said.

Savannah opened the door a few inches and went in back of it off to the side. She quickly slid the little table over so if the door was forcefully shoved open, it would impact with the little table and absorb the blow while her position remained defensible. Her motivation was to allow someone to walk inside and not think about what would happen if they needed to force the door open.

Cameron entered the room. She spotted John armed across the room. His weapons were pointed at her. She quickly realized it wasn't the first time she needed to face him with weapons drawn. She didn't want to think about the earlier incident. She noticed someone was missing.

"Where's Savannah?" Cameron asked.

Savannah was ready for any threat.

"I'm right here behind you." Savannah said. "Black…."

Cameron spun around. She spotted a Glock and a Taser pointed at her. She quickly deduced if she was a hostile threat, Savannah would have brought her down from behind without her even knowing what happened. She understood the challenge word was just directed at her. She wanted to verify there were no problems.

"Badger…." Cameron said. "Are you both OK?"

Savannah lowered her weapons. She still kept watch out the window. She decided to play out the scenario John and her wanted to present. She chose her words carefully.

"We'd just finished when the trouble started." Savannah said.

They both watched Cameron's left hand for any glitch, there was none.

Cameron understood what Savannah meant. It appeared the deed was done and it actually happened this time. She quickly calculated the time John and Savannah would have been together. It wasn't long at all. She figured John didn't last more than thirty seconds as he claimed Savannah's virginity. She also knew Savannah would have been left unfulfilled by the brief sexual encounter. Thirty seconds wasn't enough to do anything for her. All of John's 'little soldiers' wouldn't have anywhere to go. Savannah was already pregnant with Vanna's baby. She needed to keep her focus as the operation unfolded and sprung up around them.

Savannah wanted to make sure Cameron knew they were ready to move out.

"We're ready to leave." Savannah said. "All our clothes and gear are in the sheet."

John and Savannah moved up to Cameron.

Cameron reached out for both of them in a quick motion.

It caught both of them by surprise.

They both started to back up, but neither raised their weapons. Cameron wasn't the enemy. Whatever was going to happen, was going to happen.

Cameron could see she startled both of them a little. It wasn't her intent. It was just her reaction to show them she believed what she was about to tell them. It was time for all of them to move their lives forward. It was time for the 'Natural Order' to happen. She now planned to introduce Young Allison into the mix as soon as possible. Young Allison's age was irrelevant to her. It only mattered to her Young Allison was at Savannah's side, and both of them were there to protect John from the anti-Metal faction. She could take over all of the sexual duties. She would be there for all of them.

"Come here, please." Cameron said. "It was what I wanted for all of us."

Cameron hugged both of them.

"Thank you." Cameron whispered to them. "This is OUR family now."

Cameron saw this as an opportunity to be able to get 'closer' to Savannah. It's what she wanted. She figured John could have the leftovers. She would provide them. Savannah wouldn't have to do anything she didn't want to do, or enjoy. She did hope Savannah would try it a few more times. If John could deliver a finish for her, she might be a little more receptive. If John failed to deliver a few more times, she was sure Savannah would be turned off forever. She really couldn't blame her. It was rather invasive when there was no payoff, and only a mess to deal with.

John and Savannah looked at each other. It appeared Cameron bought into the false narrative about what actually happened. It was a way for them to see how she would take the actual event when it really did occur. It was much better than either one of them anticipated. They both broke away from her before she could scan them as they finished tying their shoes. They were all ready to move in a matter of seconds.

Cammy was still at the corner of the motel next to the alley and the street which ran alongside it. So far no new threats were identified.

"There is nothing else happening in the back." Cammy said. "I don't spot anyone anywhere paying attention to the location."

She checked the wall she smashed her fist through. A bush covered it from the outside. She heard some new sounds and looked down the street from the side away from the beach. She didn't like what she saw.

"Wait." Cammy said. "I see a slow moving SUV approaching. It appears as if they're scoping out the area."

Cammy started to walk like she was out for a stroll. She zoomed in on the occupant of the vehicle to see what they were doing. They held a cell phone. By their actions and where the SUV stopped, it was clear they were part of the enemy crew.

"I only see one Gray inside of the SUV. They're trying to use a phone and they don't look very happy." Cammy said. "They've stopped at the alley and are looking down it. They're trying to decide if they want to drive it down or not."

Cameron heard the report. She figured it was the transport vehicle for whoever the group set out to grab in the first place. She told John and Cameron to remain where they were.

"I need both of you to stay here for now." Cameron said. "I'm going to deal with the SUV myself."

John was about to protest.

Savannah saw what was going to happen. She looked at John and shook her head to indicate 'no'. She didn't want John to interfere with Cameron's plan. She understood Cameron's appearance would seem non threatening to anyone who looked at her. It would also distract them heavily once they took a look at her.

Cameron exited the motel room and closed the door behind her.

"I don't like it." John said.

Savannah knew how Cameron operated.

"It's what she does." Savannah said. "Everything needs to be contained before it can expand into something more than it already is. We don't know anything yet. I think Cameron could use a little distraction right now based upon what she thinks happened in this room. Right now we're the only two who know what actually occurred. It was nothing other than a little show and tell. "

John carefully moved over to the window and looked out the corner of it to see what was in front of them.

Cammy crossed the street and headed back toward the motel and the SUV.

The SUV started to move again but slammed on its brakes as a bikini clad figure stepped out in front of the SUV. The driver was literally inches away from having run into the scantily clad figure who now stood in front of them. The driver blared on the horn at her. It was Cameron.

Cameron smiled at him but remained where she was at in front of the SUV. She smiled again and pointed at the motel. The driver looked in the direction of her finger to see what she pointed at. He figured it must be something important. When he turned back, Cammy's fist waited for his face. She made contact and he went down. The SUV started to move forward as his dead foot slipped off of the brake. Cameron reached out and held the SUV in place with one hand, while Cammy climbed in.

Cammy shoved the terminated driver into the passenger's seat. She moved it away and parked it. It was clear the driver died instantly.

"We have a second captured vehicle. The driver's been neutralized." Cameron said. "We may need to use one of them as a Trojan Horse later on. We can probably use this one for its intended purpose to haul away whatever bodies we need to haul away."

Cameron left as the SUV was parked by Cammy. She returned with a wadded up blanket from the room. She tossed it to Cammy and started to walk away.

Cammy wanted to know what happened. It wasn't about the Grays either.

"Did they?" Cammy asked.

Cameron didn't say anything at first.

"It's the 'Natural Order'." Cameron said without looking at her.

Cammy wanted a better answer than she was given. Cameron's answer wasn't good enough. It was too ambiguous. She pressed the issue.

"Did they?" Cammy asked again.

Cameron paused for a second and looked directly at Cammy.

"YES." Cameron said. "It's done. It happened. Live with it."

Cameron walked away without turning back.

Cammy looked at Cameron's figure as she departed. It was clear her days were numbered. Right now she was there to do a job and protect Savannah and John. Whatever happened, happened. She quickly covered the dead man with the blanket after going through his pockets and then the SUV. She collected a number of items.

She heard a second car approach. It was Gail driving a sedan. Cammy and Gail both searched the car and the dead man. They covered him over with the towel again.

Gail looked at the SUV and sedan.

"I can stay here if you want to check on Savannah." Gail said.

Cammy didn't want to see Savannah right now. She didn't want to say the wrong thing or make Savannah feel like she did anything wrong. She didn't. Cameron was right. It was the 'Natural Order'. She saw it with her own eyes in Cameron's future.

"I'll remain here." Cammy said. "I would appreciate it if you went instead to check on them. I don't think I would feel very welcome right now."

Gail tilted her head slightly to the side for a moment as she contemplated Cammy's decision and what was probably behind it. She didn't think Cammy thought it was anything beneficial to her. She left and returned to the room with John and Savannah. Cameron was there as well.

Cameron expected Cammy to arrive at the room instead of Gail. It was OK too, Gail could do the same job Cammy could to protect them. All of the Resistance Terminators would do the same thing to protect John and Savannah. She wanted to see what was happening in the other room where there were four detainees and two unknown individuals. One of the two individuals was a target. It was doubtful it was the female. She looked at Gail and she reached for the door.

"Stay with them." Cameron said as she started to go. "Don't leave under any circumstance."

Gail could tell Cameron was agitated. She looked at Savannah and John. Neither of them said anything. It was her assumption they 'did it' as well. She wasn't happy with the thought of Savannah being 'soiled' by John, even if it was what they both wanted. It wasn't what she wanted. She couldn't help but think of some of the stories Jesse told her about things done to her, either by force, or under the threat of death with a weapon held to her head or throat. She knew Savannah would need to 'try it' sooner or later. She hoped she wouldn't like it anymore than Vanna indicated she would.

John was in contact with John Henry. He wanted to go over everything they knew so far.

Savannah kept watch as well. She noticed Gail looked at the bed a lot. She could tell she was uneasy. She moved over to Gail and when John wasn't looking, she gave Gail's hand a gentle squeeze. They both looked at each other.

Savannah knew Gail wanted to ask her. Savannah looked over, John's back was to them now as he went over details with John Henry.

"It wasn't what I expected to happen." Savannah whispered. "I'd rather not talk about it. I don't want you or anyone else to worry about it either. I don't need any questions. We all deserve our private time alone with those of our choosing."

Gail nodded and resumed her watch. She wasn't sure if she should feel happy Savannah appeared not to have liked the encounter. Maybe Savannah wouldn't repeat the action, maybe she would try again for a better result. She knew males were unable to satisfy the female sixty percent of the time on a regular basis. Their duration was very short and they were unable to experience multiple finishes like the females could. It seemed to her to be a very bad evolutionary characteristic. She figured it was only the male's larger size, and brute force, which allowed them to get away with such uncaring interaction with females.

She knew she couldn't think about it right now. She needed to make sure Savannah was protected. Oh, and John too. She resumed her watch. She would use her chassis to shield Savannah if the need arose. She could still only think about what Jesse told her once her innocence was forcibly taken from her, and a lot of things happened after it for years. Jesse told her once the abuse started, a lot of things didn't matter anymore. Jesse told her all the abuse afterwards only made her feel worse and worse about herself and value herself less and less. The early encounters only fueled her fury later on when she was in a position to exact revenge on both males and females for what happened to her growing up. She purposely hurt both males and females. Jesse told her the 'hole in her heart' didn't get smaller every time she did it. It only got bigger. It didn't make her feel any better.

She was a little concerned when Sheila picked up the same desire to hurt people, when she didn't need to. Sheila simply should have terminated them instead. It seemed to be something Sheila thrived on. Jesse warned them there was a lot of 'darkness' within her when the 'Neural Interface' was conducted. It was because of the violent actions Jesse tried to do to free herself. It didn't work. It only further caged her. It trapped her in the past with her own actions.

Cameron left Gail with Savannah and John. She knew Savannah would be protected by Gail, and Savannah would protect John.

She returned to the room the Grays tried to hit. She needed to find out what exactly was going on. She was pretty sure it wasn't over with yet. Someone sent them. There was bound to be some type of follow up required.

Ally kept watch out the front window. Bob tied up the Grays. Whenever one regained consciousness, Bob choked him out. They didn't want them to talk among themselves or call for help.

Sheila took the female into the bathroom for questioning.

Cameron quickly took stock of the situation. It appeared only the man on the bed so far was questioned. He appeared to be the victim in all of this. It still needed to be determined. He could very well be complicit in whatever was going on here. He could have been a Gray who ran, and they tracked him down.

"What's this about?" Cameron asked.

Bob didn't care for the nude man. He seemed weak and untrustworthy.

"The individual on the bed says he works at the power plant. He was in town when he met the female who brought him here. She's a Gray and acquires targets in this 'capacity'." Bob said. "She uses the attributes and comforts of her female body to get close to the target."

Cameron knew it was an effective strategy. It always worked too.

She turned her attention back to the man on the bed.

"What's your job at the power plant?" Cameron asked.

The nude man looked very frightened. He wasn't sure what he was caught up in. He said he was only in the room because the female enticed him to be there. It wasn't something he normally would have done. When she came on to him, he was unable to resist her advances and desired more.

"I oversee the property. I'm the property manager." The man said. "I control what parts get leased out. I'm not a big shot. This is what I know…."

The man answered all Cameron's questions.

Cameron removed her hand from his neck after questioning him for ten minutes.

She choked him out.

"He's lying." Cameron said.

She wanted some information from the Grays as well.

"Keep him out and make one of the Grays talk." Cameron said. "Do what you have to do."

Bob nodded. He would probably need to bust someone up as part of the process. It was the way Terminators questioned an individual for answers.

"Affirmative…." Bob said.

Cameron went to check on the female. She could tell Sheila was about to do something unconventional.

The female was tied and gagged in the bathtub. She was still naked.

"What's happening here?" Cameron asked. "Why is she gagged?"

There was a look of excitement on Sheila's face as she looked at the bound and nude figure.

"I was going to interrogate her." Sheila said. "I wanted to do it away from the male."

Cameron didn't condone Sheila's techniques but often looked the other way when they were enacted on sex traffickers. She felt somehow it was just punishment for their crimes against females.

"Is she a Gray?" Cameron asked. "Bob says she is."

Sheila's look of excitement turned into one of contempt for the female.

"She knows what they are and works with them…." Sheila said. "She's a Gray by association, and a collaborator if nothing else. She clearly assists them in their endeavors, even if her main goal is monetary. She is highly paid for what she does. She knows people die after she lures them into a situation like what we've witnessed here."

Cameron was angered by how close all of this came to John and Savannah. She wanted answers and didn't care where they came from or how they were derived. Someone was responsible for this and they needed to pay a price.

"Get some answers." Cameron said. "She's the enemy. These people are a threat to John and Savannah. They are a threat to all of us."

Sheila remembered some of the things Savannah spoke with her about. One of them was not to take pleasure in what she was about to do. She wanted to make sure Cameron would approve whatever she was about to do.

"Can I do anything to her?" Sheila asked.

Cameron looked at the nude female in the bathtub one more time. She knew she was about to die a gruesome death at the hands of Sheila. The bathtub would contain most of the blood as it started to flow. The female was a Gray sympathizer and a collaborator.

"Find out what you can." Cameron said. "Finish it when you're done. I don't care how."

Sheila figured Cameron was upset about John and Savannah 'mating'. Normally Cameron wouldn't approve of her methods, let alone encourage them.

Sheila smiled.

"Can we do this the easy way?" Sheila asked.

The female shook her head back and forth.

"It's what I figured." Sheila said with a smile.

Cameron went out of the bathroom.

There was a dull 'thud' as Sheila punched her hard.

Cameron went back into the room with the bed.

She saw a Gray look at Ally. He hadn't seen her yet.

"You're the 'Metal Bitch'." The Gray said.

Two of the Grays were already dead. It was clear they ran afoul with Bob.

"They didn't want to talk. Now they can't." Bob said. "This one is more talkative, but mouthy."

His eyes widened as he saw Cameron. He swallowed hard.

Cameron smiled to herself.

"No, I'm the 'Metal Bitch' you've heard about." Cameron said. "She's my sister. She's identical to me. I just wanted you to know that. I'm the one everyone fears."

Ally was very pleased the way Cameron referred to her.

There was another muffled scream from the bathroom.

Cameron looked over at the bathroom door and then back at the Gray.

"Your female friend is being worked over." Cameron said. "You're next."

The Gray looked at Cameron with contempt.

"You don't scare me." The Gray said.

She could see attempting to question him was going to be a waste of time. He could be more useful in another way. She picked up a pillow and approached him.

"We'll see." Cameron said.

Cameron saw the last Gray was about to wake up. As he watched, she reached down and broke the jaw of the mouthy man. It hung down at a forty five degree angle. The man still attempted to talk or move so the angled jaw moved up and down with his agony. She held a pillow over his face to muffle the screams, they didn't last long.

She looked at the awakened Gray.

"You lie, you die. You mouth off, you die. You insult anyone, you die." Cameron said. "Tell us what we want to know…."

There was another muffled scream from the bathroom.

The Gray looked over the direction of the scream, and then back at Cameron.

He saw her eyes now glowed red.

He looked over towards the bathroom every time there was another muted scream.

The Gray talked and talked.

Closing monologue by Cameron:

I Might Some Day

Why are we supposed to forgive
If we can never forget
Because of what YOU did
I'm supposed to acquit

So for what has been done
Shouldn't you be the one to atone
I was the one, who away was thrown
Maybe you should be all alone

How fast the eyes turn blind
The brain seems to switch off
When confronted with reality
You scoff and try to laugh it off

Let's reverse the rolls
How would YOU feel
Do you think your heart and mind
Would ever mend and heal

You want mercy from the heart
Of the one you so easily betray
I doubt it, but I'll think about it
I might some day

Nobody
