Chapter 779

Come And Get It

Sheila told Cammy the homeless female was headed her way. Any type of altercation with the two men and the homeless female outside of the building where Cammy was at wouldn't be good. It was bound to draw unnecessary attention, or alert anyone inside the building. It looked like it was going to bring trouble to their current operation.

Cammy looked around to make sure there was no other activity occurring where she was at.

"I see her." Cammy said. "She's just come around the corner. She's at the end of the block. She's still holding her pants. There is an alley off to her side."

Sheila didn't like what she observed so far. She viewed the two individuals who went after the homeless woman as nothing more than Scavengers. How else could they be defined? Their behavior spoke for itself. She wasn't going to referee. She was going to act.

"I'm moving to intercept them." Sheila said. "I have the two Scavengers targeted."

John listened as the events developed. He didn't want things to get taken out of hand too quickly. He could already see how things were going to turn out based upon her interpretation of the events.

"I want you to remember they're homeless." John said. "They're not Scavengers."

Sheila wasn't about to get caught up in word games. It was the actions of the individual which determined what their fate would be. What they actually did is what they would answer for. Someone needed to stand up for what was right, and knock down what was wrong. Everything she viewed was wrong from any angle.

"With what they appear to have done, what's the difference?" Sheila asked. "If they've abused the female, they will be terminated. Those are Cameron's standing orders. More than likely, when they apprehend her, she will be abused again and probably terminated. I'm not going to watch it happen. At what point does someone need to do something to help the future, by preventing what will end up in it?"

John felt Cameron's orders were for the 'off the books' operations, not Resistance matters. He hoped to get some assistance from Bob before Sheila started terminating people. He didn't want to see an overreaction for an everyday occurrence. The type of event which most likely occurred is something which went on all the time in homeless camps. The individuals who lived in them understood the rules. There were no rules.

"Play it cool, Sheila." John said. "Bob, where are you in relation to all of this?"

Bob wanted to make sure the building wasn't compromised they suspected a big rig might be in. He also agreed with Sheila. He thought John could better understand the situation if he changed the context of the scenario somewhat.

"I'm moving to reinforce Cammy." Bob said. "What Sheila said is true. Those are Cameron's orders. What if it was one of our females in the future? This type of behavior is uncorrectable. It is based on a defect in their mind, and their inability to have empathy for others. It's more than just about the abuse. They won't hesitate to terminate her. We need to help the future whenever we can, especially when an incident occurs right in front of us."

Sheila touched her knife as she moved to intercept the two men. She would use it if she wasn't in too big of a hurry. She didn't need the knife to deal with a couple of future Scavengers. She would prefer to physically overpower them, breaking bones as she did it. She would need to make sure none of them carried a firearm. More than likely they would carry a knife or some type of shank. She didn't want to get stabbed with either one of those.

"I have a 'cure' for it." Sheila said. "It's one hundred percent reliable."

John Henry didn't want the troops to get sidetracked when they were this close to the goal. He didn't want anything done which would alert the Skynet forces to their proximity. If there was some type of gunfire by the two perpetrators, it could put the enemy on full alert.

"Let's not lose focus on the objective." John Henry said. "The goal is to remain undetected by the enemy for as long as possible, until we can act. We need to find the third big rig. Street crimes aren't what everyone is there for."

John couldn't agree more. He didn't want some rogue operation to endanger everything.

"Roger that." John said. "We need to concentrate on what we're here for. Anything else is a sideshow under the current conditions."

Cammy agreed with Sheila as well. She didn't like John's willingness to write someone off, just because he didn't know them. What if the situation was identical, but the individuals involved were different? Would John do the same thing if it was his sister or mother who was being pursued? It is highly doubtful. It was a matter of right and wrong. If they were in a position to prevent it, there was no reason they shouldn't act. She knew if Cameron or Savannah were there, they would set John straight. She would do it for them.

"Protecting the future is more than just dealing with Skynet." Cammy said. "We also need to deal with the problems Skynet created or allowed to expand out of control. The type of behavior being exhibited is exactly what Skynet will foster and promote to continually drag down the Resistance, as well as demoralize it. I think we can deal with a few things simultaneously, especially a couple of local boys."

When John was in 'a future', he saw what many of the problems were. He didn't need to be reminded about how they were in the past, the present. Things were out of control in the present because those in power didn't feel criminals should be punished for their actions. By some type of convoluted logic, they believed the perpetrators were victims. Since they were victims of society, they weren't responsible for their crimes.

"I'm aware of what we will need to face going forward." John said.

Sheila changed her course to try and help protect the mission as well as the female. She would try to put things in a context John could better understand. His concern was valid, their concern was just as valid. There would be a difference if there was nothing they could do. They couldn't stop what already happened. They could prevent it from getting worse or happening again.

"I'm about to move between two buildings." Sheila said. "I'm going over a wall, and now over another one. I'll intercept her before they reach Cammy's location. It could compromise what we were trying to do if they get closer to the target zone. We don't want to alert anyone needlessly."

It was clear to Sheila what must have happened to the woman. No one runs down the street holding their pants with only a ripped open shirt on. The two men after her probably abused her during the night. They were either afraid she would talk and turn them in, or they wanted some more. More than likely after they finished abusing her they would silence her permanently. She would simply be another body found in a dirty alley. Once it was determined she was homeless, the investigation would stop. Nobody cared about the homeless or what happened to them. They were simply parasites on society. Female Terminators saw it a different way when it came to abused females. It didn't matter if they were homeless or not. They were victims.

Sheila went with Cameron and Ally many times into the dark world of the sex trade. They freed numerous females from a short life in Hell. Those who weren't hooked on drugs stood a good chance of keeping their freedom. Those who were addicted to the 'Beast', whatever drug it was, were soon to fall back into the clutches of the slavers. The girls would do 'anything' to get their next fix. Those females were beyond any help they could provide. Most of them lived a very short life, one way or another.

She was glad Cameron always looked the other way when it was time for retribution on the sex traffickers. Cameron allowed her the freedom to dole out justice befitting of their crimes against females. She made sure they atoned for their sins before their termination. The sounds of their screams and cries excited her as well as stimulated her. The sound of justice is what it was to her. All the other Terminators thought there was something wrong with her, but there wasn't. The need for justice and retribution was very strong inside of her for what Jesse suffered in the past, the future. Payback was a Bitch. Those who crossed her path found out exactly what a 'Metal Bitch' was.

Cameron told her when they terminated every Scavenger in a five hundred mile radius in Vanna's future, she was sure they got the Scavengers who abused Vanna when she was growing up. Any future Scavengers they took out now were just icing on the cake. She liked icing.

She would like to have done the same thing in the area where Jesse was from. circumstances were a little different. She knew the way to prevent the entire ordeal for both Vanna and Jesse, as well as Riley and Allison to a lesser extent would be to go back in time and prevent John from going into the future with Mrs. Weaver in creating the alternate future. It wouldn't help the girls in the present because the events already happened to them. It would however prevent all of the events from happening to everyone else by preventing such a vile future from ever existing. She went over one wall and quickly went over the second wall.

Sheila came out in front of the homeless woman. She was in a blind alley as she motioned for the woman to come to her. The blind alley was a dead end. It was about to live up to its name.

"Hey, come over here." Sheila said.

The woman spied Sheila and turned in her direction. She looked desperate for any help she could get. She was worried about more than just herself.

Sheila noticed the bruising on the woman's inner thighs. It wasn't the only thing. It was the usual evidence of recent abuse. Gravity was at work at this point with other things.

"Help me." The woman begged. "We need to run. They're going to kill me. They're going to jump you like they did me. We need to run NOW. You can't stay here. You need to get away."

Sheila looked around her. The area she was in looked like as good of a kill zone as any. She didn't want the woman to see what was about to happen. She saw how she could mitigate it.

"Move in back of me." Sheila said. "Go into the corner and don't look. Get down low behind the big cardboard box. Get inside of it if you can. Don't look out."

The woman looked a little apprehensive. She didn't want anything to happen to the young female who she found in the alley.

"You need to be able to run if they try to grab you." The woman said. "They will 'take' you. They don't care what they do. The more you scream and cry for help, the more excited they become. There's something wrong in their heads."

Sheila wasn't too concerned about them. Human targets were easy to take down.

"I wouldn't worry about them." Sheila said. "Go behind the box now."

Sheila watched as the woman disappeared behind the large cardboard box.

A few seconds later the two men ran around the corner and stopped. It wasn't what they expected to see. They were after the homeless woman. They looked around and then at Sheila.

Sheila always liked to play with her 'marks' before she dealt with them. The poor fools always thought they were dealing with a young woman. They simply didn't have any concept of what a Terminator was. They all viewed females as their prey. They never figured out they were actually the prey until it was too late to do anything about it. Once they did understand, they were the prey, the only thing left was for them to pray.

Because of John's earlier warning and hesitation she would give the individuals a chance to leave on their own. She didn't think they would take it. She actually hoped they wouldn't. She would still make the offer to prevent any negative feedback from John, or John Henry, later on.

"Are you blokes lost?" Sheila asked. "This is private property. I'm going to ask you once to turn around and leave. You'll get to live if you do. If you don't, you're going to die. Leave now."

The two men looked at each other.

They both laughed.

Both of them looked Sheila over from head to toe and back again.

"It looks like things just got better for us." The first man said.

The second man nodded his head in agreement.

"They got a whole lot better." The second man said. "We don't need to worry about the used up skank anymore when we've got some nice fresh tender meat waiting for us. I don't really think it could get any better than this."

Sheila already gave them the chance to leave. Now it was her game.

"Actually they just got worse, for both of you." Sheila said. "You just don't know it yet. It usually takes a while to sink in. Don't worry, it will."

Neither of the men liked the foreign broad's smug attitude. They still wanted to get their hands on the homeless woman. They weren't done with her yet, especially for running out on them. Who did she think she was to disrespect them in such a manner? They would deal with the foreign Bitch as soon as they found the homeless woman and finished their business with her.

"Where's the Bitch at who ran in here?" The first man asked. "There's no way out."

Sheila wanted to show the men she wasn't afraid of them. It usually upset them more.

"It's just me, mates." Sheila said. "And you're right, there is no way out for either of you now. You threw away your chance, and both of your lives along with it. You belong to me right now."

She moved just right to make a nipple ring appear.

She knew it always threw the 'mark' off balance. Whatever they were thinking about, just changed to what was right in front of them.

Both of the men stop looking around for the homeless woman. It appeared right now there was something which was way better, and probably a whole lot cleaner, than the homeless Bitch they were looking for. Once they were done with this young sweet thing, they would just kill the homeless Bitch when they found her.

"I told you it just got better." The second man said. "Let's 'do' her. I'm going first this time."

One of the men wanted to make Sheila understand what was about to happen one way or the other. They weren't newcomers into dealing with broads, especially mouthy ones.

"Strip all your clothes off now or we will rip them off of you." The first man said. "If you cooperate, we won't hurt you. I think you know how this is going to work. No one has to get hurt. It's going to happen anyway, one way or the other. If you want to get busted up, it's up to you. There's no need to get your teeth knocked out along with what's going to happen. It will only be a permanent reminder of your reluctance to share with a couple of nice men. Let's get started."

Sheila really disliked both of the men. It almost sounded like they actually believed themselves. They clearly lacked any type of empathy. There wasn't any remorse or second thoughts about the way they treated females.

"Come and get it." Sheila said to draw the men in closer. "I'm right here."

One of the men produced a knife. He looked like he knew how to use it.

"It won't matter if you are dead or alive." The second man said.

Sheila saw their attitude as another nail in their coffin.

"It seems clear to me you both have chosen death over living." Sheila said.

Both men laughed as they approached her.

"You're going to give us what we want." The first man said.

He laughed harder and louder as he came towards her. It was a sadistic evil laugh.

Sheila watched them move closer. They took the bait. She wanted to upset them a little further. It always made them less cautious.

"I'm waiting." Sheila said. "Don't you want this?"

Sheila indicated her body.

She glanced back. The woman was out of sight still. She didn't want her to see what was about to happen next.

The two men looked at each other. It was clear they were upset by her taunts and refusal to do as they demanded. They were further upset by the fact she didn't show any fear of them. It was time to teach her a lesson. They rushed her. She sidestepped as she tripped one man while she broke his leg and grabbed the knife hand of the other man. She held her grip over his hand and bent his arm around and made him stab himself. She did it half a dozen times. It was done in very quick secession, all in different places. It was to increase the pain level. She made sure it wasn't enough to kill him yet, but enough to render him helpless. She wasn't done with him yet.

If time, and the situation allowed, she would make sure he was appropriately punished for his crimes before he died.

The other man struggled to get up as Sheila used the other man's knife hand to stab him in strategic places as well. He fell to the ground incapacitated. They would bleed out soon, but they were both still alive. They were both in immense pain.

Both men were down. She released the man's hand and the knife clattered to the pavement. She was pleased at how well it went. Then again, it was nothing new to her.

She was going to 'work' on the men but thought maybe the woman would like to get some 'justice'. She would allow her the honor of paying the men back.

"You can come out now." Sheila said. "It's over."

The woman slowly came out after she peeked around the big cardboard box. She certainly didn't expect to see the young female standing there alone and unhurt. She saw the two men laying on the ground bleeding. She could see they were both still alive and suffering greatly.

"What happened?" The woman asked. "I heard a fight."

Sheila thought she could bend the truth a little bit. Some of her definitions would be more of a technicality, than an actuality.

"They tried to jump me. I moved out of their way. They stabbed each other instead. They were fighting over who would 'get' me first." Sheila said. "They were in such a hurry to 'get some', they got tangled up with each other. It was really bazaar to watch. They stabbed each other. It was evident they were both mentally unstable."

The woman looked over at the two bleeding figures sprawled on the ground. They no longer moved.

"Are they…?" The woman asked.

Sheila thought she would give the women a choice.

"Do you want them to be?" Sheila asked.

The woman's hand reached down and touched her leg. There were mixed feelings about what she wanted to do. Did she want to become more involved? Did she want to walk away from it all?

"I don't know. They came into my camp last night to abuse me." The woman said. "I was bound and gagged. I was able to free myself this morning. They were going to kill me before I got away. I grabbed my pants and ran."

Sheila hoped the woman would want some street justice.

"Do you want to hurt them now?" Sheila asked. "It would be payback for what they did to you."

The women looked at the two bleeding men on the ground. It seemed like anywhere else, other than there would be a better place to be.

"I just want to get away." The woman said. "I don't want any more trouble. I didn't ask for any of what happened. I just want to be done with it."

Sheila could see the bottomless woman was scared. She wanted to give her a little dignity.

"Put your pants on." Sheila said.

The woman looked down and realized she was still holding her pants and only wore a ripped open shirt. She forgot she was bottomless.

Sheila looked at the woman's feet.

"Do you have shoes?" Sheila asked.

The woman looked a little embarrassed. It seemed to be more than about the recent abuse.

"I have some other things at my camp." The woman said. "I don't want the police involved. I have several warrants for shoplifting and solicitation. I don't want to go back to prison. A lot of bad things happen there too."

Sheila hoped to find a little more out about what actually transpired.

"Have you 'associated' with these men before?" Sheila asked.

The woman glanced over at the two bleeding men again. They were both trouble since the first time she saw them. It was a different type of trouble.

"I've seen them before. They never bothered me until last night. They always said I was old and ugly." The woman said. "I get abused every now and then, but it is always over quickly. It was never like this before, and then someone wanted to kill me afterwards. I've learned not to resist over the years. Everything is over quicker when I just lay there. I didn't even struggle after I was bound and gagged. I just wanted them to go away. They didn't. They wouldn't untie me."

Sheila thought whatever the men possessed should belong to the woman now. She 'earned it', even if it wasn't her choice.

"Let's see if they have any money or valuables." Sheila said.

Sheila quickly searched the fallen men.

She gave the woman what they possessed, and the knife as well. She cleaned the blade first before she gave it to the woman. She hoped the woman could provide her a little more information.

"You said you saw them before." Sheila said. "Where was it at?"

The woman pointed down the alley.

"It was by the old building down there. It's the white one with the faded blue band at the top." The woman said.

Sheila became a little more alert. She looked at the two bleeding men. It looked like things just took on a new dimension. It was the building where they suspected Skynet involvement.

"What were they doing there?" Sheila asked.

The woman finally got her pants on and attempted to close her shirt. It was ripped open.

"They were doing something for the big man inside." The woman said. "I saw him give them money."

Sheila began to look around in detail. It sounded like a Terminator.

"How 'big' was the big man?" Sheila asked.

The woman looked at the two fallen men sprawled on the ground.

"He was bigger than either of those two." The woman said. "Are they dead now? They've stopped moaning and moving."

Sheila knew they were still alive enough for what she wanted to do. She fished out all the money in her pocket. There was no need to tell the woman what she had in store for them, provided she still had enough time.

"Maybe they're dead. I don't know. This is all I have." Sheila said as she gave the woman several hundred dollars. "Go get your stuff and go. I'll call the police as soon as you clear out. It's better if you leave this area and never come back. If they survive, they'll come after you. I don't think it'll be a friendly visit either when they do."

The woman was very appreciative of Sheila. She couldn't believe she was able to actually get some cash. The idea to clear out from the camp she was in seemed like a very good idea.

"Thank you for helping me. Thank you for giving me some money. I don't want to get arrested again." The woman said. "I don't have many belongings to collect."

Sheila was aware life on the street was hard for some of the homeless, especially the ones who were abused by the other homeless. She wanted to know a little more about her. Maybe she could help her a little more.

"How long have you lived like this?" Sheila asked.

The woman needed to think about it for a few seconds. Dates and time meant nothing on the street. It all became a blur. It was just about survival and where the next bite of food would come from.

"I think it's been seven years." The woman said. "I really don't know anymore. I didn't look like this when I first arrived. This is what the street has done to me. I used to be a 36C, now look at me. It looks like two empty sacks."

Sheila didn't like the condition the woman was in physically. She was very emaciated.

"How many times have you been abused?" Sheila asked.

The woman looked down at the front of her withered body. She wasn't sure what was taken, and what was reluctantly earned. They always both seem to have the same implications.

"I stopped counting." The woman said. "Sometimes they gave me food. I did what they asked then. I don't get much to eat sometimes…. I need to survive."

It was clear the woman was Mostly skin and bones. She suffered from malnutrition. She probably looked twenty years older than she was. It was doubtful she would last more than a few years living the current lifestyle she did.

"You don't need to live like this." Sheila said. "Go to a shelter. There are people there who will help you. You have to want to help yourself to make it work."

The woman thanked Sheila again and left. Sheila looked around the corner and saw the woman head back in the direction of her encampment.

She turned her attention back to the two men. She was a little disappointed both men already terminated. Things took a little longer to conclude than she anticipated, especially since the homeless woman didn't want to administer any street justice.

"Where are you going to put the decedents?" John Henry asked.

Sheila looked at the two men with contempt.

"I'm about to throw out the trash." Sheila said.

Sheila picked up the two dead men and tossed them in a dumpster. She covered them over with the cardboard box she told the woman to hide in. She ripped it in half to make sure they were covered. She knew the rest of the team, and the Command Center, heard everything which was said and transpired. She didn't think things played out any differently than they would on an 'off the books' operation with Cameron.

"The threat is over." Sheila said. "You all heard what she said. We were able to get some good intel, without even trying."

John Henry was thoroughly disgusted with what he heard.

"We heard it all." John Henry said.

John was glad it was over. He knew Sheila did the right thing on several levels. He couldn't fault her for any of her actions, even if he would have preferred to not get involved. The information the woman disclosed, indicated they were on the right track, at the right building. He was worried about the 'big man' the woman spoke of.

"The 'big man' may be a Terminator." John said.

Based on why they were there, Sheila thought it was a logical assumption.

"It sure sounds like it." Sheila said. "We'll continue to investigate. It really sounds like we're on to something here."

Bob was very displeased with what he heard as well. He was able to get eyes on the homeless woman after she left the alley.

"I can see the female back at her encampment. She's put on shoes and a coat. She is pushing a shopping cart away from where she was." Bob said. "It appears to contain her bedding and other clothing. It's only half full. Everything appears to be filthy."

After what John heard, he wanted Sheila to know her assessment of the situation was correct from the start.

"Sheila, you were right." John said. "Those were 'Scavengers' in all but name."

Sheila took one last look around and moved away from the kill zone.

"I've dealt with many of their type." Sheila said.

John doubted there was any redemption.

"Does it always end the same way?" John asked.

Sheila wasn't bothered by the justice she served to those who required it. Their own actions determined their punishment. All she did was carry out the sentence they gave themselves. If it was a sex trade ring they busted up, the punishment was a little more severe for those involved, especially females who were enablers. She didn't really care for things to end on such a simple note.

"No, there is usually more to it if I'm alone. I like them to pay for their sins first. I always collect…." Sheila said. "The ending is always the same."

Cammy wanted John to understand the full implication of what was done there.

"John, she's protecting the future." Cammy said. "Imagine what those two would be like after Judgment Day. There are many more like them out there."

John thought back to the future he created. He understood a lot of the misery was because of that particular timeline. It fell on his back.

"I saw it myself." John said. "Scavengers are as big a threat to the Resistance as Skynet at times. A lot of good people died needlessly, many females were abused."

Sheila thought the equation was very simple and straightforward.

"Those two men were the very type of people who become Grays or Scavengers." Sheila said. "Problem solved. They didn't have anything related to what we're checking on in their possession."

John Henry was more concerned about the possible Terminator.

"What about the 'big man'?" John Henry asked.

Cammy decided she would handle it herself. She already set things in motion. The time for inaction was over.

"I'm going to find out." Cammy said. "I'm about to enter the building."

John was a little surprised she decided to make the move already on her own.

"Wait for Sheila and Bob." John said. "Don't go in alone."

Cammy looked around her and saw where Bob and Sheila were at.

"Bob is moving into position and I see Sheila coming." Cammy said.

There was a big smile on Sheila's face as she rushed to join Cammy.

"I wish…." Sheila said.

Cammy quickly rephrased her statement.

"I see Sheila is about to arrive." Cammy said quickly.

John hoped they would formulate some type of plan before they acted.

"How do you want to play this?" John asked.

Sheila thought about how well the operation went at the last building. She figured it couldn't hurt to flash a little jewelry at this one either.

"Maybe we can just knock." Sheila said. "If anyone is in there, they might think it's the two men reporting back. If there's a peep hole, they'll see two Hot looking females. What threat could we pose? If anything, we'll be seen as a source for their sexual pleasure."

Cammy thought they could take a little precaution. She did like how well the plan worked at the last location.

"I can stand in front of Sheila. She can have her Taser in her hand as she stands behind me, ready to fire." Cammy said. "They'll never see it coming."

Bob moved into a flanking position. It was much like it was at the other building. There was a door on the other side of the building.

"I'm in position on the other side." Bob said. "I'm ready to breech."

John could see they threw everything together at the last second.

"It all sounds risky." John said.

Sometimes Cammy wondered if John knew exactly what Cameron faced all of the time, alone.

"Welcome to our world." Cammy said.

She checked to make sure Sheila was ready and knocked.

Cammy was aware her face alone would open any door. If it didn't, a powerful blow from her foot would. Whoever was inside would quickly wish they would have opened the door themselves.

Closing monologue by Cameron:

Come And Give It To Me

I know what she is
I understand what she can present
For that very reason
Is why I loathe her and resent

You don't need her
That's what I'm for
Whatever she has to offer
I can provide even more

I'll never weaken or tire
I won't go astray
I'll always still be here
Even if cruel things you say

If anyone takes something from me
I'll TAKE back what's mine
My feelings I can't confine
For the one I hold divine

Come and give it to me
I'll say to their face
If they don't instantly comply
Their existence I'll erase

Nobody
